Really good place to go if you are in need of some running equipment and some shoes, they do have gait analysis if you feel like you need that. The stuff was friendly and helpful as you would expect from a retail place.

My husband and I went to Road Runner Sports to get fitted for running shoes. My husband has been running for 40+ years and I am recovering from a broken bone in my foot and I love power walks.We were greeted by a staff member that put us on a list for our customized shoe consultation while we browsed. The store is immaculate and a runners dream store! The vast selection of clothes, accessories and socks was fabulous.Our specialist, Renata, was 100% attentive. She asked questions, led us through the two steps to get a customized recommendation and inserts. She was able to narrow down the possible selections due to the technology and her expertise. From that point, we tried on several shoes and came away with the most comfortable shoes we have ever worn in our lives. Renatas expertise, patience, and ZERO sales pressure was refreshing in a world with very little customer service.We will ALWAYS go to Road Runner Sports for our future running shoes and clothing! Great shoe selection if you like athletic/running shoes. Alex assisted me in selecting the right shoe by giving me different options to try on before I made a decision. They also have customs insoles if you’re willing to pay the $80 for them. Overall it’s a good place to buy new shoes.

Its funny I wasnt going to write anything about this store, but then they had to abuse the fact that they have my info. If you subscribe for their VIP service they will not leave you alone. They will call you multiple times to resubscribe if it ends and you will get automated text messages from them. Also the store is very shady. They have no prices on display rather it is hidden inside the shoe. Also the price listed on the shoe is not the actual price but rather a discounted price if you pay to have their VIP service. Lastly, they will tell you certain services are free but when you leave to pay all of a sudden they are not free anymore. Its free to have the special in soles done but once you go to leave then you have to pay for them. If you have to pay for them then say it and dont go on and on about how its free with the customer.Bottom line, they hide what the true cost is and they wont leave you alone once they have your information.

The staff is super knowledgeable and did a proper gait analysis so I can have the proper running shoes to train for the military. I would 100% recommend asking to work with Alán and Bre. They were both very attentive and thorough as far as making sure I had the best fitment. I will be bringing more business here.

First time ever for a true foot evaluation. Needed new running shoes even though I don’t run due to knee issues. Anyway I was amazed at my experience. Ashby was my consultant and he took me through the entire process explaining everything as we went along. Learned a lot about my feet and their structure and differences between the two in size. No pressure to buy as they don’t work on commission. Great experience. Left with shoes in hand and a VIP membership that has already paid for itself. Thumbs up for sure. Will be returning for clothing too.

Cameron helped me for over an hour to find the right shoe. New Balance stopped making the shoe I had purchased for decades, and the New Balance style I ordered as a replacement injured my left foot. Cameron patiently tried shoe after shoe until we settled on a Brooks style. Have just returned from a five mile walk and the new shoes are perfect. Took my mom in (82yrs old), to find a good pair of athletic shoes that would provide some stability. The sales staff were extremely patient, kind and very knowledgeable. I havent experienced this level of customer service in a long, long time. They have earned my business, I will shop here again.

I absolutely LOVE Road Runner Sports!!! Right when we walked in we were told it would be about 20 minutes till we could be seen to get fitted for shoes… it actually took less than a minute. They were so patient and caring and made sure my shoes fit properly. I totally recommend if you have never been to a place where they help find the right shoes for you… GO!!! Sooo worth it for your feet, back and other problems that you might have.

Went to the store just after opening time (10am) on Wednesday and Ashby assisted me fabulously! Although I walk 5k regularly, I haven’t been happy with any of the shoes I’ve bought previously from other stores and came to Road Runner after a recommendation from my Pilates instructor. After asking several questions regarding my activity level, presences on shoes, etc, Ashby put me through the “perfect fit” routine and then brought out several pairs of shoes for me to try. My husband and I went in for new shoes for CrossFit. The store was very busy but it only took 12 minutes to get personalized help. We told the guy who helped us, Manny, what we were looking for. My husband didn’t even know his shoe size. Somehow, Manny just looked at his feet and knew. He brought two pair for each of us from the back. My husband tried on the first pair and fell in love. I tried on the first pair and that they were just OK. Then the second pair were the beat sneaks over ever put in my feet. My husband wanted a second pair just for every day and of course, Manny killed it with that pair too.Not only that but Manny was helping another customer at the same time and giving all of us the same amount of attention. He is truly a gem.

Terrible Customer service. Stood around for 10 minutes with no one asking me did I need help. Then I go to the lady at the front and she tells me oh let me look up your VIP. I tell her exactly what I want. She says thats going to be 10 minute wait. 10 minute wait for a shoe that just want to buy and not try on? So I should stand around waiting in the store during Delta variance for them to potentially tell me that they dont have the shoe in stock. Unacceptable! The least she could have done is check to see if the shoe was in stock for me. Too bad I cant give zero stars. So over this store, especially after giving them over $400 of business.

Great experience for both the technology and service in the store. I came to Road Runner because I’m in the middle of training for a 50k and I needed to change my shoes. Christian E. was the person who helped me. He listened to my issue, analyzed my feet, gave me a few informed recommendations, helped me try them on, and got me out the door with a new pair of shoes. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and fun. I just spent two days and 15 miles in the new shoes I bought and my feet and legs feel amazing. Their fitting process evaluates in very careful detail everything from stride, pronation, finite sizing to foot strike dynamics. If you need a pair of running shoes, running clothes, any of the accoutrements like water bottles, gels, hats, headbands, etc. Roadrunner sports has got you covered. Ive been a VIP member for as long as I can remember which guarantees that I get a great price on every pair of shoes that I buy as well as early access to new shoes, and alerts on my favorite shoes before they go out of stock or end of life. If you dont know what shoes to get they have the in-house stride analysis on the treadmills to tell you what sort of foot strike you have pronation, neutral, supination. They also can make a custom soul insert for you. They have a couple options but they have a premium option which is pretty nice. The typical running shoe comes with just the flimsiest piece of foam for an insole. Its hot now but running season is right around the corner here in Arizona. Get yourself a new pair of shoes with some fresh foam, a proper fit and the right level of support. Dont forget to get a great color scheme as well!

I had the most amazing experience with Wade! I’ve never been fitted with insoles and Brooks, and Wade made an incredible recommendation to get me to the start of my journey to 25+ miles a week. He was patient, friendly and extremely knowledgeable! It was also a great vibe in the store with the staff. I have been to many running shoe stores in the past 20+ years, and this was the most enjoyable buying experience to date. I’ve put about 95ish miles on this pair so far since late January, and haven’t been anything but comfortable and happy. The employees were very knowledgeable, my feet run wide so it’s always hard for me to find the best fitting shoes, but they did the sizing and test for my feet to correctly size them and find my arches. So I have a custom insoles with roadrunner now, and preferred shoes that would fit my feet! Won’t buy anywhere else ever.

I went to buy shoes I didnt know I needed to sign in for an appointment, but the wait wasnt long and they did a great job scanning and fitting me. I got a great pair of shoes. They will try to get you to sign off for a VIP membership FYI so be ready.

This is such a good company to deal with if you have issues with your feet, actually even if you dont. If you need to return your shoes they do not give you the third degree. They are extremely friendly and helpful, willing to work with you to find the right fit.

We called to see if the store was open and what time they closed. We told them we were heading there and when we showed up we were told there was a 45 min wait. We waited 40 mins and then another couple came in and was helped and we were told wed be next after them.A couple of things- waits happen, we understand that, but the lack of communication about the wait when we called was ridiculous. Then waiting for 40 mins only to get passed in line by someone who walked in 40 mins after we did is extremely frustrating.We pay for the VIP membership because we go through running shoes like crazy and used to live up the street.Fix your communication and have some respect for waiting customers time.

My wife has been having issues with her heels and because of Road Runner she has been able to wear her new hiking shoes actually on a trail to determine the best pair.What a great policy to actually let your customers try out the product to confirm the fit and comfort in an actual real life scenario!We are customers for life!

The staff there is very nice and kind, and they have some really cool high tech machines to help find the perfect shoe, but they are very pushy with the results of the tests, and insisted i get a 10 when i clearly needed a 9. I eventually got the nine, but it took about 20 minutes. All in all, they are nice but pushy.

I went to the store and they ordered what I needed online since they did not have my size in stock. I used my reward points. Nice and easy. And I got a show horn to boot...yeehaw

Probably the best shoe buying experience Ive had. I didnt feel like they were upselling me on anything too much and not long after I walked in the door they gave me the full treatment, fitted my feet, ran me through everything and explained why I should belong in a certain shoe even though Ive been running for most of my life. Very much appreciated the time they spent. Apparently it was the supervisor Zane who spent his time, very much would recommend.

Christian (Ellis) served me incredibly well, measuring my feet for size, analyzing my foot impact, determining my type of arch, and giving me very good options for running shoes and orthotics. The orthotics and shoes I selected have made a huge, positive impact in my running! Proper support and cushioning, no more pain. I highly recommend Ellis and Road Runner Sports.

This was my first time in the store. I went in being referred by a friend. Staff is knowledgeable and they have a positive attitude. The shoes I was looking for weren’t sold in the brick and mortar store and needed to be ordered online. They helped place the order and had them shipped to my house. The VIP program is worth it if you frequently buy shoes.

Their exchange program WAS great. I exchanged a couple times because I couldn’t find the right shoe that made my feet stop hurting while running. But recently, the store clerk did not allow for a full exchange. No variables changed from the previous time. The experience was unpleasant enough for me to leave a bad review. Don’t go here
