Since the fall of We Cycle, Rusty Spoke has been the ultimate go to. Staff is helpful, and even if they are attending to a bicyclist, they will give acknowlegement and fit you in right away without any slightment to any customer. If one doesnt know, there is someone who does, staff or customer. I never leave unsatisfied.
Great community bike shop. Friendly vibe and will definitely come back when looking for bike parts!
This may be a non profit service to low income bike owners and the community in general, but the lengths they go to be helpful is stellar. I was told they are all volunteers. Really? I went in one day on Sunday with a damaged 29 inch rear mountain bike rim that had to be replaced. I was looking at several hundred dollars likely for a replacement and labor from a shop, most closed on that day, so I dropped in. By chance two of the gents working the bikes and folks coming in to service their own bikes took time to replace my rim with an used equal off the shelf and even installed it with professional work. Cost: $10.00. I gave him all the cash I had in my wallet, about $15.00. I would have made it more. Ill be dropping in again for smaller items. Great contribution to the community as I said before. Stop by. They should be supported.
They are kind and great and willing to help all sorts with getting a bike and they have a work trade program to help less fortunate people who need a bike to help them get around
Support your community 🚲 I’m very happy with my vintage 90s roadbike #teamFuji, they are very knowledgeable and helped me with how to fix a flat etc and have a fantastic selection of rides available ! Thank You💜
Helpful guys keeping the community riding!
This place is awsome!!! They taught me how to check my bike tire for thorns, how to check the tube for holes and for five dollars they fixed the wiring on my bikes gear shifter while I waited. If you need a bike but for what ever reason cant afford one you can earn one with just five hours sweat equity totally this place is awesome!! totally awesome, I love it!!! I will be back
I found exactly what I was looking for, thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Unqualified recommendation. Personalized service. Bargain basement priced bikes. Looking to get riding withput emptying your bank account? Try here first. Just purchased my second bike from the Rusty Spoke. Liked the first one and came back for more. And they will tell you where to look for whatever you need that they might not have. The Rusty Spoke is a community resource.
Had a great experience here. My bike broke down and Thomas was able to help me out and get it fixed. Definitely recommend swinging by and checking out the bikes they have for sale
Thanks for the new pedals!
I must share a story of how wonderful this place really is. I was on a cross-country bicycle tour when I realized my rear rim had a crack in it. Being very short on money for bicycle repairs. The rusty spoke just happened to be open the next day. They set me up with a nice rear wheel I did some volunteer work for trade and off I went. An amazing place for what they do for their community. I did finish my tour across the United States and the rusty spoke was part of it. Thank you very much.
There great People and do a great job helping
Best place to fix your bike! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful! And very reasonable prices! Will definitely be coming back!
The one and only place left in the city were a person can work for the one thing they need and build it themselves. A great bike shop. I go as often as I can to help out and donate.
