I believe Mike & Steph may love my bike even more than I do and weve had many miles together!Personal service, fair and trustworthy is how I describe Curbside to my friends. This is such a great little business.Their shop is the only place we take our bikes for repairs and tune-ups. They ordered, assembled and maintain our Cruisers, Cannondale road bikes as well as our Yeti mountain bikes. There are certainly bike shops closer to our home but we never go anywhere else!

Hands down the best bike mechanic in Ahwatukee, Chandler, Tempe, and Phoenix. Curbside Cyclery has the fastest service without sacrificing quality or increasing cost. I first came to Mike in July 2020 with a broken free hub. Three Global Bikes locations and two other shops quoted me two to three weeks to make the repair. Mike told me he could repair my bike within 24 hours of receiving the part. I have since gone to Curbside Cyclery for various repairs and I am always surprised at how quickly my bike is working again. I’ve been to 10-15 bike shops over the years in several different cities and Curbside Cyclery is number one — without a doubt.

Dropped off my childs bike to be assembled and it was ready next day. Great price for assembly and great service. Bike runs perfectly and will definitely be back in the future.

I had gotten a mountain bike from a friend recently. I had a flat and dropped it off at CC. He had the inter tube and got it fixed. When I went back in it was priced well and they are so friendly. The store is spotless and great merchandise and supplies. I’ll definitely be going back.

Mike is like the bike whisper. Not only can he find and fix problems others cannot, he does it at a more than fair price. Mike is also friendly no matter the type of bike you bring in! Did you read that last part? This is rare in bike shops these days. Other benefit, consistency. Some shops change over mechanics frequently and some of their wrenches do not have the proper skill set. This doesnt happen at Curbside.

Never had better work done on any of my bikes. I have from time to time had other shops do work and its not the same as when Curbside does the work. 5 stars for sure.

Stopped in once to see if they had a random piece I needed. Met Mike and he was a super nice guy, willing to make a small fix on the spot, which is something that I’ve had a tough time finding in the last year or so. He also has an automatic sliding door, makes it super smooth to bring a bike in or out! Highly recommend!

Mikes shop is a remnant of the days when local businesses were truly local, relied on close customer relationships, and had knowledgeable and dedicated employees. Mike always delivers a personal touch and has valuable and apposite advice.

My road bike had a worn out groupo, Curbside replaced the chain, but the chain still slipped. So they replaced the worn out casette, but the chain still slipped. On my final visit they replaced the chainring at no charge, problem now fixed. Clearly no upsell and top notch customer service here - they will continue to get my business!

I have been riding my son’s old mountain bike and had it worked on at another local shop before finding Curbside. Curbside actually fixed the bike, changed the crank and tuned it up. Rides better than it has in years. It’s sentimental and reminds me of him (my son), may seem trivial to some but means a lot to me (to keep being able to ride this bike). Fantastic care/service.

Went to find pedals for bike. The customer service there was terrible. I dont know what size I need let alone knew there were different sizes. Instead of asking probing questions to try to help me find what I needed, I felt dumb because Im not an everyday rider like all who go into their shop. This wasnt the first time- Ive been the 3x and felt the same way each time. I called to complain and the man who answered defended the behavior. Its a shame that your organization was not open for new customers and people who just want to try something new . I will be sure to NOT recommend my non-cyclists friends your way. Shame on you Im very disappointed in you and your business.

I broke my Beach cruiser chain coming home from work and this is my only mode of transportation at the moment...Mike taught me about my bike chain and how the chain was too loose...he charged me 6.08 to have my bike back! Stopped in to ask some questions about bike tires. They can be a bit confusing to a newbie. The Owner answered and explained everything to me about tire. I decided to purchase two new one with his recommendation. They fit perfect and can now enjoy my bike without worry of a blown tire for now. He also gave me a quick DIY on swapping out my old tires with the new one. The do’s and don’ts. Worked perfect. Thanks again.

I bought my bike here about two months ago and i couldn’t be happier. the owners of the shop were very nice!

First of all, the owner and his wife were the only two people I dealt with at the shop, so I really received the vip treatment. I didn’t see anyone else, so I’d imagine that this is just business as usual. I don’t want to get into specifics, and set people’s expectations unrealistically high, but let’s just say that they were extremely accommodating! Very nice people with a great shop! They are just getting yeti and rented me what looked like a new bike. I am fussy about what I ride, and have a pretty substantial bike back home. They did not disappoint on that side either. He went out of his way to make sure I wasn’t charged an extra day, and then was very concerned and helpful in getting my personal pedals back to me ( bc I left them on the bike). I would definitely do business with these people again. I am writing the review since I feel I owe it for the great service, and the fact that I inconvenienced them in return. So thank you to Mike and Curbside Cyclery!

Mike does great work for a reasonable price. He is a real bike whisperer who can see, hear, or feel what is going on with your bike and make it better. He has corrected a number of issues that my local, expensive, franchise either created or failed to resolve. Highly recommended..

I was very impressed with the bike repair work. He was very quick to give me a quote for how much to fix the brake pads, and straighten the back bike wheel. I went to a different bike shop eariler in awhatukee in the day and they wanted an absurd amount to fix something so easy. He was very reasonable with his pricing and friendly. I will definitely be a repeat customer if I have more bike repairs in the future.

Mike has a top notch shop, period!. Always ready to fix and eagerly advises on bike setup, parts, and brands. Mikes place is what the local bike shop experience is all about, with even the shop dog! He just needs to have beer on hand!!

I had my MTB tuned up at this shop after all the stellar reviews. I paid $40 for tune-up. I am not sure about expectations for bike tune-ups since I do most of the tune-ups on both of my vehicles but it should be more than just a check and verify.1. No lubrication or cleaning of the chain, rear cassette or front sprocket.2. Shifting adjustment was worse after I got it then before.3. My rear shifter cable snapped shortly after this service.This is the 3rd and last bike shop I will every pay for a tune-up again. When the rear shifter wont align with the largest rear chain ring and I have and extra click with no shift going to the smallest chain ring I know that (nothing) was adjusted right. The font derailleur rubs on both outer chain rings I know it is adjusted wrong. I ended up replacing my rear shifter cable myself and dialed in the shifter alignment (Spot-On) it has never shifted so good because I spent the time required to get the alignment correct. This is one thing I did not want to maintain myself but as the saying goes if you want it done right Do It Yourself!.

Outstanding place. They care about people. They have a door where a bike can actually fit in unlike Bike Masters and they dont talk trash about your Wal-Mart bike like Bike Masters does. Bike Masters is rude and they have juvenile idiots that run that place. They are unprofessional and if you dont spend $7000 on one of their ridiculous bikes they dont care about you. Cubsid Cylcery was fantastic and actually gave me very good advice on what type of tube to use which Bike Masters never did.

Mike is the most knowledgeable mechanic in town. Ive taken my bike to other shops, and Mike later fixes their errors. Dont waste your time going to another mechanic, just go to the expert. Mike is fair in his prices and prompt in his service.
