Small parking lot, takes cash and card. Ive now visited Landis 3 times and I have nothing but good things to say. Within seconds of walking in you will have someone greeting you, asking how youre doing and if you might need some assistance. This last go around I needed my brakes replaced; I came in thinking Id need to buy the brakes and take care of it myself (theyre booked up like everyone else for service!), but the employee recognized they were slow and said theyd take of it on the spot for me. I requested that I came back to watch and learn and he had no issues, even examining what he was doing as he went along. Overall, Im not surprised these folks have been here for decades, as the service speaks to their mental and mentality for service and collaboration. Not only all that, but the selection is DOPE! But just know these are high class bikes theyre selling, and they offer no fixed gear options at the moment. If you own a bike, come here. If you need a bike, definitely check it out! Landis is great.
I just got my bike here recently and now, I am a loyal customer. When you walk in, youre immediately greeted and asked if you need help. All of the workers are nice and knowledgeable about bikes.. The person I worked with took a lot of time with us to make sure that I was choosing a bike that worked with my lifestyle and usage. Ill be sure to bring my bike here to get serviced in the future.
Took my girlfriends bike in to have them work on the derailleur (bike wasnt shifting properly) and was told service orders were taking approximately 2 weeks. The staff putting the bike up on his stand and degreased the shifters and was able to get the bike working perfectly in 10 minutes and only for 10 dollars. This was my first experience here and couldnt have been more pleased since he took the time to do something he could have just written off for me to wait for. I will definitely be back!
I just bought a bike from them, haven’t had one since I was a teen. They were super friendly and non-pressure when test-riding bikes and answered all sorts of questions. When I picked up the bike, the tech took the time to make sure I understood all the features or any extras I may need. He then helped me attach my bike rack and put my bike on it. I’d recommend them to anyone. Very knowledgeable.
To be perfectly honest, this was our second choice to take our bicycles for a tune-up, if not for the convenience of having our first choice in very close proximity. But after that first choice taking over a month to get a simple tune up/tires done, later finding out it wasn’t even done correctly, we hurried over to Landis. The work was done before the 1 week expected turnaround time, the staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely worth it for their experience. They are very happy to answer any questions you may have and are very well staffed - and stocked. Thank you! We’ll be back !
These guys are awesome. the guy was super nice and very helpfull. Thanks so much. Made my day.
Went to Landis Cyclery to pick up a low end bike for commute. These guys look like busy bodies, but I was immediately greeted and asked what I needed. After I explained my price range/purpose, I followed the employee around for a few minutes until he was able to pick out a bike. It suited all my needs perfectly and I was even allowed to test ride it with given ID. I also notice that this place has a plethora of bike specific tools and parts. Will definitely come back when needed.
Everyone was super friendly inside & were welcoming. They wanted to help us get into the sport of mountain biking. We didn’t feel like we didn’t belong in the store. Will definitely buy front again & refer to others!
This place is so great. No matter what has been wrong with my bike, they have me back riding in under 20 minutes. Just astounding!!
The were awesome and quick to fix my hubbys tire. Rob was knowledgable and got it fixed for us when they were closing soon. They even do military discount. Will go backSide note the location does kind of suck! Busy street and small parking lot. Just becareful driving there.
I am an avid cyclist, and have been going to Landis for my cycling needs since moving to Phoenix 15 years ago. Service is always excellent, and prices are very competitive. I highly recommend Landis!
Perry is a master at bike fits! Always accurate, always precise, double checks and triple checks measurements. Thanks again for your help!
Smart, honest customer service. These guys dont try to upsell; they try to get you the bike or service that is right for you.
The mechanic at Landis was very helpful and quickly finished the work on my bike. I will definitely go back in the future.
Great staff ... helped me buy a great bike and have been incredibly helpful with all my questions
Great experience today. Fast service friendly and knowledgeable. Fixed my bike while I waited. Affordable. Very impressed. Would recommend. Nice work.
They where very friendly informative and helpful especially as a beginner to mountain biking and bikes in general I would highly recommend anyone from expert to beginner to go here they also have a wide variety of bikes for sale its a one stop shop I will definitely be back
Great staff, lots of experience. Always feel welcomed when I visit this shop. These guys can handle anything!!
First rate service. Very knowledgeable staff,
This is the best bike shop ever! Everyone is always so helpful and friendly. Jack has helped me numerous times and he has always done an excellent job. I very much appreciate the fantastic customer service. I am so grateful for the kind people working at this shop and the fact that they always have the answer to all of my bike questions. Thank you!
Almost immediately after entering the store, I was approached by a free employee who helped me find the product I needed. He was knowledgeable and took the time to make sure he was selling me the correct product for my bike.Additionally, they hold customer and employee safety to a high standard. They require a properly worn mask on everyone in the store, and they offered me hand sanitizer at the register.
This place was out of the park amazing! Wow, I wasn’t expecting it to be such a great experience...The energy and vibe was welcoming and employees were professional and courteous. We could tell they loved their jobs. It surpassed my expectations and we purchased a new Trek for our son’s 18th birthday. We walked in having come away from a horrible experience from a bike shop in Peoria, expecting the same but was pleasantly surprised with our family’s experience from start to finish! I highly recommend this bike shop! Thanks Landis!
Everybody that Ive dealt with at 2 different Landis stores has been super helpful and go well beyond my questions and requests. They really seem to genuinely enjoy what theyre doing, and to have my best interests in mind. They have become my go to bike store.
Awesome customer service. Knowledgable and courteous, it doesnt matter which store you visit, they know how to treat customers.
Great easy place to shop a bike and gear. Its not snobbish like so many other shops. And it still has top of the line bikes too.
Bought a 2019 Stumpy from their Scottsdale location. After 6 months I had a dropper failure. This location is open on Sundays and is close to my house. I took it up there expecting to leave it. Much to my surprise, Steve said they had one in stock and swapped it out for me while I waited. Thanks for stepping up the great service, on a Sunday even! Me and friends will be back 👍
I was treated with respect and even though it was difficult to fix my bike the guy servicing it got it done in a timely manner. Very helpful and decently priced. I will continue to come here for my bicycle needs.
I’ve purchased 3 bikes from Landis and all encounters have been very pleasant. Today they squeezed me in to replace a cassette on my mtb when they are scheduled a few weeks out. They are super friendly and I appreciate their knowledge. They will continue to get my business!
Very helpful and friendly staff -- helped me pick out the accessories I needed for my gravel bike.
I recently purchased a 2022 Trek Marlin 5, and I dont know why the salesman didnt disclose the cost of $350 to put in tubeless tires (told over-the-phone), because I wouldve just bought a different brand. I know my other Trek Marlin 5 -- that I bought in 2015 -- had no issues with putting in tubeless, and the cost was about $30.
Great bike shop. They do good work and are reasonable. They help me keep my Specialized mountain bike on the trails. Thank you.
I’ve have great experiences at Landis. I bought two bicycles on Sunday, January 10th. One bike was ready to take immediately and the second had to be built. It was ready the next day. The staff was really friendly every time I went. One of my brakes wasn’t working and I brought it in and they helped me immediately. Thanks!
We made an appointment about 2 weeks in advance. They sent several reminders before we dropped them off. We dropped our bikes off the evening before and they were ready the next day at the designated time. Text message when the bikes were ready. They did a great job cleaning them up and they feel like a brand new bike.
Fist time shopping there, the workers are friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. Plus they have a dog there thats also friendly and shows they care👍🐶
I was able to get the exact bike I wanted and got to take it home that day; they happened to be building one when I walked in. Also, they made sure that everything was adjusted and tuned before I left the shop. Great first impression.
I took my bike to Landis first 3 years ago and I remember receiving excellent service and was treated so kindly and respectfully. They genuinely cared. Recently I needed my new bikes serviced and I remembered this bike shop and immediately knew where to go. I had the same excellent experience again. I’ve purchased helmets, spin shoes, tubes, and even a new bike. I never felt pressured to buy anything. They won’t talk you into buying things you don’t need but they sure have all the answers to your questions and will help you out with whatever you need. The team is professional, and they are awesome people. I truly appreciate all the help I receive at Landis. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in town!Big shoutout to Steve for finding me the best road bike out there, fixing my old bikes, and all the help.
I stopped by to see rob. I have a brand new Stache that has some damage to the carbon fiber frame. Not purchased through Landis. They are looking into what they can do to have the frame replaced. I have my fingers crossed to see what trek and they can do. 3 month old new stache carbon fiber and the frame is busted. They got me in the same day I called and filling out paperwork to see what can be done for me. Thanks Rob and the crew and Landis for trying to help! Well after two days they got back to me and got me 50% off a replacement frame. This is much better than my local Goodyear trek store where I have spent thousands of dollars. My local shop offer a 20% replacement for my frame. So the Landis shop got me 30% more than the local shop where I bought the bike. I’m grateful to Landis Ana Rob for helping me. You have to understand I have not spent any money or I did not buy my bike from Landis. I run a customer service buisness and appreciate good customer service. So these guys went above and beyond for me and now they have a customer or life! Thanks guys.
This place is awesome. They were so friendly, helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
Very disappointed!! Was told on the phone by Jack that they would change out tires on our electric bicycle. Even told him the motor was on the wheel and its a fee wheel with simple connectors for motor. Was told $18 and 25 minutes so I came next morning. As soon as I get there Im asked if motor is on the wheel....DUH its an electric bicycle. Where else would the motor be? On the kickstand? ROFL. I said yes and he immediately said they dont work on wheels with motors. 1....why was I told over the phone that you do? 2.... anyone with a brain knows e bikes are the future. How do you call yourself a bike shop. Unity BMX has no problem working on them. And they are a bmx skate shop lol.
Friendly and knowledgeable dudes.
Great bike shop. Biking in Phoenix can be interesting with all the prickly objects to pop your tire. Ive stopped here twice for flat tire repairs while biking and was educated on buying a better tube for both tires that was thicker.
Landis is my go-to spot always. Rob and Steve plus the entire team keep me safe and rolling on my mtn bike. They are the best!
Great local bike shop! Staff are very helpful, even if you didnt buy your bike from them.
Was able to shop inventory online, call store to hold bike for test ride, sales/mechanic took care of adjustments, installed accessories, helped with shoe/cleat selection, scheduled bike fit, provided general maintenance tips, helped get my new ride in vehicle. Highly recommended and will be back for future purchases.
Very skilled repair techs and interesting accessories
Was looking for a new Mountain Bike and Landis had the bike I was looking for in stock in their warehouse. I was able to place my order over the phone and pick up my new bike in just 3 days! The tech taking my order and the one who I picked my bike up from were both friendly, professional and genuinely seemed to care - making sure the bike fit, style and color was perfect for me. I really appreciated Landis helping me purchase my first ever Mountain Bike and look forward to many years of riding fun!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, lots of bikes and accessories to shop for, and great prices. Awesome, awesome place!
Gage was very knowledgeable and helpful with our purchase. I’ve been riding road bikes for 40 years and have been a regular with several cycling clubs. Most store clerks are just that, and don’t know the details an experienced rider would. I sought out this Landis location on referral from the Trek web site. I was looking for a very specific mountain bike that is otherwise in scarce supply. Landis Phoenix had the bike in a box and assembled it the same day. One test ride and I knew it was the right choice. Thanks Landis for make the purchase easy.
Bought a collapsible bike there in June 2019 but didnt ride much until after summer. After about 2 months of riding the gears started slipping. They fixed the issue but the fix only lasted about another 2-3 months. Took the bike to another shop last week to see if they can tune it up. Other bike shop says it needs new parts.I ask landis if its still under warranty, come to find out that the warranty doesnt cover normal wear and tear. Ive barely been able to ride this bike! I asked one of the reps what determines if it was wear and tear vs a manufacturer defect. His response was some arrogant reply about how theyve been in business for over 100 years and they know what theyre talking about. To summarize, they sold me a $400 bike thats breaking down after a little over a year, with a warranty that doesnt really cover much, and were pompous about why. Next time Ill just buy from Amazon. Better price and same level of service.
Extremely friendly staff. Everyone was super easy to talk to and quite helpful. Adam hung out patiently with me and helped get me into a pair of road shoes. Would recommend for anyone in the valley needing a bike, repairs, shoes, and anything else related to cycling.
Miles the sales associate was very informative and professional. He helped make my decision clear and easy. Thank you.
Great buying experience. Tremendously helpful in getting sizing/selection right. Did a great job of setting up suspension and dropper post for both bikes. Knowledgeable and helpful team who goes above and beyond to help.
Walked in with flat tire, walked out 15 minutes later the new heavy duty tube installed and ready to go. Cost about $22 total. Wow! I put in a new tube about 6 months ago and Ill never do it again. Take it to Landis! Also bought my bike about 4 years ago. Great place! P.S. I live 4 blocks from the Bike Barn - go to Landis instead!
Landis Cyclery is the best. Went on bike ride this morning. Didnt get that far, due to a flat. Called them to see if they had any thorn resistant tubes. They did. Was in and out in about 30 minutes. Helped me get some stuff for a repair kit as well.
Excellent experience, they really helped me and my friend understand more about the hobby. Ive always wanted to get into mountain biking and it feels like the staff actually cares about the hobby first over sales which I really appreciated.
BIKE REPAIR:Returned two bikes for missed service requests during their last tune-ups (It sometimes happens with all businesses). Perry Clark, Store Manager, apologized sincerely upon accepting the bikes and assured me the oversights would be corrected. Not only were the problems corrected, but other deficiencies were found, adjustments made and new parts installed where the old ones would have likely failed in a short period of time. Going the extra step to ensure customer satisfaction is very rare these days and needs to be recognized. I applaud Perry and Landis Cyclery for adopting their ethical standards of business. Do not hesitate to trust their service.
Horrible place to take your bike across town just to be treated like an inconvenience and a fool. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone.
These guys are really helpful and patient. Definitely where Ill be buying my bike.
The service techs are patient with walk in requests.Always willing to assist.
Great buying experience. Delivery timelines and commitments have opportunities for improvement. Really bothered if you call the store.... odd customer experience. Not sure that I would buy here again.
Ive been going to this bike shop since 2001 . Thats when I moved in the neighborhood close to them . I have a onguard bike lock that I bought at this location 7th Avenue and Indian school . 18 years later Ive still have the same bike and lock . Nobody has broken the lock . Ive always buy all my tires there . Either fo a mountain bike or road bike . They at Landis have always been friendly and kind . They have always answered all my questions . Heck you never going to know till you ask . They are helpful and very knowledgeable . And will do what ever they can to help you and your bike . I dont know about you but my bike no matter what I ride is part of me . And Ill tell you what . Thats trust .
Ive passed by this shop on 7th Ave many times on my way to work and I stopped there for the 1st time today. My wife had a flat tire and I tried to fix it myself. I couldnt put the bike back together again and I brought it in. A nice young man fixed it on the spot! I will definitely return if I have any bicycle issues or am in need of parts, service, accessories, etc.! Many thanks to that young man - sorry I didnt get his name.
The service here appears to be good I have shocked here in the past. Im very disappointed they are refusing service today because I would not wear a mask. I did educate them on the Department of Justice public accommodations and they still refuse me service because of the sign on the door. The law, my rights do not allow them to refuse service due to not wearing a mask.
Ordered my bike over the phone on a Monday and had it by Saturday. They were Great, took their time and answered all my questions.Great service
Excellent place to go there for any question maintenance tuneup’s bike or to get nutrients bar For sure I will always recommend this place
I went in to get the brake lever fixed. The man who helped me was clueless. He had to ask someone if they fixed brakes. He told me they couldnt fix it, which i found weird, thats part of what they do. Then i asked if it could be replaced. He, again asked someone else, then said no, because they would have to order the part! Are you kidding me?? You would think they would ask me if thats what i wanted, which it was, instead he rushed me out sating again, they cant help me. Well, if they cant help people with the most basic requests, what do they do there?
Bad customer service. I dont recommend. These people dont fully understand what they are doing, false advertising. This place does not repair bikes.
Best Bike store in AZ, incredible customer service, their techs are the best and always leave my bikes running perfect, will travel 100 miles to tale my bikes to them
Greeted when entered the store. Very knowledgeable staff. Did not rush our decisions. Ended up with exactly what we were looking for.
I went in today with the intention of getting a tune up and some accessories for the road bike I just bought. They told me I had to wear a mask to come in the store. I told them I have nose problems so I cant. They said I couldnt be in the store anyways. I asked them if I could just drop the bike off and pick it up later. They said theyre going to close in an hour. I said well can I pick it up tomorrow? They said yes but you have to come back with a mask on. They werent very considerate of the circumstances. I told them that Im not able to do that and I just left. I called a mobile service and they werent able to come out to where I was but they also would have been about a quarter of the price. What I ended up doing is just going to a different shop and I dropped like $300. They also asked me to wear a mask but were very understanding when I told them that I didnt want to do that.
I will surely recommend this Landis Cyclery to my friends and relatives. It was such a great for people who likes bike.
Great place, nice people. Gage was very helpful and we left with a nice bike for our son.
Very helpful and professional staff. Found the Kuat bike rack that no other shop had.
Outstanding customer service! Thank you for getting my son in a great bike that was affordable.
Service was great! Honest and concise answers to my questions and very helpful in providing information to a beginning rider without making me feel like I didnt belong in the shop like some other places have.
These guys are always top of their game! Highly recommend them fo all your biking needs.
Very knowledgeable staff and great selection of bikes and accessories.
Service was very helpful and prices were twice as cheap on a tiny repair as compared to a place in Fountain Hills AZ
Awesome customer service. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be shopping here again
Get my bicycle supplies there great people to work with surprised that rubber items tires tubes etc hard to get right now minimum 6-8 weeks to get.
I am very impressed with their level of customer service. They turned a unfortunate situation where I was very dissatisfied, into one where I was utterly impressed with their commitment to making the customer happy. I will never do anything bike related for the rest of my life, without first consulting Landis Cyclery.
Extremely helpful and knowledgable. Special thanks to Gage who painstakingly had to cut down my seat 3 times because Im 5ft tall. Was very knowledgeable on what good deals there were/best bang for your buck, insurance, etc. Even threw me a couple freebies.I bought a bike thats gonna last me a long, long time. Would buy from again.
Excellent local bike shop! They helped me convert my cervelo s1 into a single speed to cruise around Phoenix. The staff is super knowledgeable and eager to help out. They kept my budget in mind while still getting me quality parts. This will def be my new bike shop from here on out.
Busy place but no nonsense. I would recommend this bike shop to my friends.
Such a great bike shop! Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to ask for Steve for all your track/fixed bike needs.
The guys are so helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant.
Took to long, asked to keep head light but they took it off. I would never use them again Sorry
Great group of people. Customer service is always great and they know what they are doing.
Took in my bike that I had kept outside for a while to see what it needed and they were very helpful. They actually got it working without needing any new parts! Would definitely recommend.
Very help to a point but theyve always addressed my bike issue however I have to wait 2 weeks to get the bike back but over all 3 and a half stars
This is my first choice in Phoenix bike shops. Has been excellent and good price service for me at least 25 years. Wouldnt change a thing!
At first, I came to this shop because they were close and had the best rate for repairs and maintenance on my old bike. I came back in the same day because of a popped tire and they were extremely gracious about getting it replaced and road ready as quickly as possible.Everyone at this ship is extremely courteous and knowledgeable but special shout out to Steve for the no bull, quick draw tire change.
Great experience! Very knowledgeable staff that helped us finding quickly what we were looking for! They had several bikes available to test drive and we were able to take the one we bought home right away.
