Scammers quoted me $1000 over phone drive 1 hour plus to set up order and then price changes to $1600. Scam is right i was very specific of what i wanted. Bait and switch. I am sorry but that is unacceptable when confronted very rude. I called you and left a message for you to call me.

This company is very unprofessional and their customer service is rude and basically non existent. I have made numerous calls to them and just get the run around. They will sell you an expensive awning then refuse to do any repairs on it after the install. Stay far away from them!

We recently recovered existing 15 year old awnings from another company. The entire team from sales (Simon) to service (Larry) were outstanding to work with. The installers attention to detail was impressive (Eric). The final product was as we expected and would highly recommend Phoenix Tent & Awning.

My new awning serves the purpose very well; keeps the west wall cooler and lowers the temperature inside. I couldnt be happier with the end result. It is also very attractive. Each person I encountered was pleasant, knowledgeable and most helpful. The companys long-standing reputation continues!

After much research I selected this company to construct and install a driveway shade structure. Vince the estimator was prompt and courteous. Dale, their traveling site surveyor, pre and post-installation inspector, and all around customer satisfaction specialist, was very responsive, patient, and understanding. He quickly addressed my concerns, mobilized his crew, and ensured my complete satisfaction. In my opinion, hes the reason why I would definitely use this company again. I highly recommend Phoenix Tent and Awning to anyone looking for an honest, and professional company to provide quality structures and noteworthy workmanship. Lastly, the installation workers are to be commended for their hard work in the scorching heat. They put together a beautiful, well built, solid structure that no doubt will provide years of great looking reprieve from the intense AZ sun. Ive received numerous compliments on my shade structure. Phoenix Tent and Awning is seriously lacking employees with customer service skills. I reached out via phone to get information regarding a home improvement project. Instead of a welcome, “let’s make this happen for you” attitude, I was met with staff that seemed to care less if the company got our business or not.

This company was unprofessional in its customer service. I ordered my replacement shade in April and I finally received my product in October.I chased them around with phone calls and emails only to get an excuse that the tried to call me and had no success! They even shared my number with me that they were trying to call me (only after they had the real number) to say that they were off by one digit!Am I really going to believe this? Seriously? Doesn’t one exhaust all contacts they have before giving up if that really was the case? They had my email address!!! And I had been emailing my salesman forever! All lies!They finally tell me that they are so glad I called and they would be out only to find out that they want to remeasure again!They literally dropped the ball. They had my money for 6 months and they are now measuring and cutting?Sounds like someone did a rush job since it took another two weeks to get my shade installed.The worse part is is that they came out and are now harassing me for the balance. They threatened me for payment only after a week of the install.KRISTEN with her annoying voice telling me that if I do not pay by noon today she will be sending me to collection!ms! Calling me on no caller ID as if I am avoiding them!Not worth it people! There are so many competitors out there that still care about the person and their business. I asked for a quote and it was not within their scope of work. However, their response was very dry and unfriendly. When I asked why they wouldnt give me a quote for future reference since I work for a large company with many properties, they were still not friendly or helpful. When responding to any potential client its nice and helpful to give more than a one sentence reply and a reason as to why its not within their scope of work.

They are amazing and have earned every good thing you hear about them.

They call me and tell me the awning I ordered is ready for pickup. I send my installer and he is given the run around for 45 minutes and then they find my order which I paid over $900 for and he returns to my home only to find out its the wrong order after an hour more of driving and figuring out that this is wrong. He calls them, gives them hell and they apologize.I call them as the customer and ask them if they will pay for the two hour minimum my installer is charging me and they were not prepared to take responsibility for their mistakes. So I get to pay $120 more for NOTHING thanks to their in ability to get their stuff together.NO THANKS AGAIN. These people are too old and too bored to get care a darned about their customers. Too disorganized.Update- they made it right as they should have. Thank you.

Sadly, Phoenix Tent and Awning no longer does Canvas Repairs. I needed my boat cover restitched and they have told me they no longer do any repair work. 8/23/2020

We purchased a custom hunter green awning about 15+ years ago. Just want to say that it has held up well and with very little fading considering it has been in the AZ sun all this time.

Overly priced. Better options found online.
