I wish I could give this less than 1 star. My friend was jumped by a bunch of people IN THE STORE & the cashiers did nothing. I don’t expect them to step in & physically stop them but they NEVER EVEN CALLED THE COPS. They locked themselves behind the counter & watched my friend as he was getting beat by 8 other people. He was with alone & suffered a concussion. I am absolutely disgusted.

I dont like the way store setup. Employees so much rude and very very narrow rows inside store.

The clientele that go here on the nicest and the area isnt the cleanest beware and have eyes behind your head. Worker was extremely grumpy and Im very helpful. Do not think I will be back again.

Trouble 24 hours of trouble. This is a place that is no different from the stores in the “Hood” it’s full of compacted stuff in every crevice. There is always shady folks meeting up there and conducting bad business. I would not recommend shopping in this establishment after hours. It’s a definite public nuisance spot!

I happened to visit this store today, 7/9/2020 at the height of a global pandemic that has adversely effected people of color. No employee present in the store had on a mask, and equally as disturbing despite having a sign on the door that said that a mask was required, 80 % of the patrons that entered the store did not have on a mask. The store is extremely small so social distancing is virtually impossible, and the store has no air circulation. It literally is a live petri dish for Covid-19 and I will be filing a formal complaint with the Philadelphia Dept. of health.

I bought sugar from that store 2 years ago it was expired by 2 months the people who work there dont check the expiration dates on the food becareful I havent went back there since,at night time its to much traffic of people who dont wear a mask last night I was on the trolley that pass Island Market and it was closed i dont know what happened they need to close early instead of 24 hours,but its a business I wont never shop in that place again

Their staff are very friendly and professional. Their prices are very reasonable. Fresh produce and more than ample variety of grocery pick-ups when you need it.

Great store. Deli, fresh meat and a variety of almost everything you need.

This market was okay as far as cleanliness..but the workers get over on tbeir customers...my cousin went to the back to get meat..she ordered ribs and a few other things..the worker weighed the meat but it seems as if he took some of the meat out real quick when he was done weighing it before he passed it to her..my cousin paid 50 dollars for 4 items at their store qnd one of the items was onions...so be careful if you do go there to get meat ..try and pay very close attention to tge weight amount and price of your food

Great hours and location. Reasonable prices. Horrible customer service. Will yell and scream when the mess up your order or they dont understand you. Only one person seems to understand English. The cook messes up every order and says he didnt understand.

Best place to get food in swp after 9pm

Its a good Supermarket sometimes it can have its ups and down but I think its a good supermarket

Wait time is ridiculous. ..not a lot of customers but you have to wait over 20mins to get help. Customer service poor English-speaking they speak Spanish and so its hard to communicate with non spanish speaking customers.
