Pricing is fair, all things considered. The food is plentiful and fresh. Nice selection of fish. Newly added Wine Garden provides extra convenience. There is plenty of parking. Usually a good number of cashiers and a quick self check out...

Naturally because of the pandemic everything is definitely more expensive, but this location was great. Clean sanitary as can be for a public place. A lot of things are out but the staff is always nice and friendly. The guy in the seafood department picked me some amazing fresh fish that Ive never had before but was a hit for dinner last night 😃😃

I have fallen in love with Acme Market again due to this location. From the parking lot, throughout the store it is meticulously organized and clean. Their baked goods, meats and fish are surprisingly fresh and the selection of wine is cause to not to have to make a separate trip to the wine and spirits stores. Oh, last but not least the staff are warm and welcoming!

Oxford ave store is my favorite. Small neighborhood store. Well stocked shelves. Employees pleasant and helpful.

I have shopped at this market for decades. Its STILL got the juice! 🤗 Shelves were stocked, prices fair, LOTS OF SALES😍, lots of relaxed employees cooking/CLEANING/ stocking/cashiering---- even their garden & flowers section was stellar. 😍😊 NO shortages on toilet paper, ketchup, meat, bread---- besides people wearing masks, THIS was ACTUALLY the 1st time going into a store FELT OLD SCHOOL NORMAL.

I live within walking distance of this store and shop there often. The pros: Friendly staff that is helpful when needed. Generally well-stocked, clean. Cons: It is an older store and other than the recent addition of beer and wine, has not been upgraded. It seems like an old, tired store. I wish Acme would invest in an upgrade.

The food and stuff is good however the most annoying and discouraging thing that makes me go there only when Im desperate is the checkout.I can spend at least 3 times longer in line than I spend getting what I need. This is consistent on every trial visit I give the place. It has been like this for at least 30 years. When I go to Aldi, I cant get my groceries on the belt fast enough, in actual fact my purchases are rung up before I can get out my credit card.Theyre a sad bunch, maybe they are union run.

Always the freshest produce and meats. Fully stocked shelves is a plus. Pleasent staff; very helpful.

I bought a rotisserie chicken which looked good on the outside-got home,cut it up+it was raw+bleeding inside. I find a lot of outdated things on the shelves-you have to check the dates on everything.

This Acme is & probably always will be... ghetto. In spite of the gentrification of this Germantown/Mount Airy section. The staffing is HORRIBLE. You can buy alcohol now but my experience checking out of that particular wine line has always been fought w/ cashier issues. Its a shame cause Ive been coming back for over 30 years and besides the selling of alcohol, nothing has changed but the neighborhood.

Very unorganized. No shopping baskets for customers, only shopping carts. Prices are too high compared to other markets. :::Update::: Since my last visit, Ive noticed a vast improvement in their organization. Also, they now have hand baskets available for shoppers to use. I appreciate when management actually listens to, (and acts on), the feedback that their customers give!

Good service in the fresh cooked for section.

The prices are fair. They just opened up a beer and wine isle. The selection is pretty good. Their employees and friendly and customer service is good. They dont enforce masks to patrons in the store, the way they used to earlier this year... that bothers me since noone knows whos vaccinated or not. They got the 4th star in this rating because I like that I can walk in and purchase beer.

I only go to this store because I live nearby. The prices are not good and I haven’t met anyone in our Mt Airy neighborhood who actually enjoys shopping here. At peak hours good shopping carts are in short supply. Twice within the past week I have had trouble finding a cart that works correctly. Many have wheels that lock up or are wobbly. During a recent visit I was unable to find a problem-free cart. The one I ended up using had a front wheel that kept locking up and wouldn’t swivel correctly. So I had to lift the front wheels off the ground and do a wheelie throughout the entire store just to finish my errand. Carts are also not returned to the store entrance in a timely manner. Checkout lines can backup at the beer/wine checkout aisles. It can be tough to find help with locating an item. The staff are nice, but there aren’t enough employees available to stock shelves and help customers. A significant part of the store interior is dated and uninspiring. Bathrooms are occasionally filthy and trash can be found strewn in the parking lot or near the entrance. On a positive note, several of my neighbors report that they use the in-store pharmacy and enjoy the service they receive. Apparently it’s a lot better than the lincoln drive CVS nearby.

My biggest issue is that the scooters they have for physically unable people was not working on this visit. If I wasnt there with my friend, he wouldnt have been able to shop.

This ACME has upgraded nicely in the dessert, cheese and produce section. They have so many selections in the dessert section now and so many types of fresh cheese. I will continue to return. They do need to do a better job keeping the restrooms cleaner. It smells awful.

Im in acme all the time since its my neighborhood market but this time the cashier was rude. She didnt have any idea how to split the payment either. Ive been excited to shop here since they just added a wine selection. The meats are always fresh and I always find what I need. The cashier was a small part of the visit Ill still be back.

Ive just received my first COVID-19 shot by the beautiful and friendly Pharmacist. The prices are good and the food is great. I look forward to my next visit!

They consistently sell expired meat along with expired over-the-counter medication in the pharmacy and the Mt. Airy location on Germantown Ave., on top of this location always being filthy. This store either needs better management or to be shut down completely.

This Acme isnt too far from my home. Once there, its always clean, orderly and the customer service is good. The store manager helped me find Stonewheat crackers, cant find them in any other market. Im satisfied with this market.

The market is looking much better now ..they remodeled a little..they added wine& beer isle .very nice selection. Their food prices are higher than other markets but they do have great sales..the staff is nice and polite. They dont tend to be as crowded as other markets, but they never seem to have enough cashiers for the busy times . 4 stars only because their carts noisy, wobbly and do not work too well .🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Great service when I came to get my Pfizer Covid vaccine shot 💉. I felt very comfortable and the person who administered the shot helped me to feel at peace.

Didnt have the Oaxaca cheese I was looking for but I was able to find something similar.

The staffing that was there was outstanding. There were lines, but the lines move very swiftly. The shelves were stock clean and orderly. The pharmacist on staff there were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

Theyre food is always good. I never have a problem.

Needs an overhaul with new managementEmployees are rude, lines are long, prices are high.As one of the only large groceries in the neighborhood, I tolerate a frequently frustrating and never enjoyable experience at this Acme.Hopefully corporate will read the bad press and make changes for the better. This neighborhood deserves so much more!

Four blocks from my home. I dont go there too much acmes prices are a lot higher than other supermarket companies. I used to work at giant. I noticed at acme that their prices for the de Bruno cheese twice as much as giant charged. Not too crazy about giant either however.

They didnt have loose tomatoes, and thats what I wanted, I like to feel my tomatoes, and choose what I like, and the amount I need.

It has a lot of stuff in pretty much any food category that you can think of, but its pretty expensive compared to other stores. Also they tend to be sold out quite a bit

The ACME is renovating. I can tell it will look really nice when its done. I have been thus market since I was a kid (I am 43 now) but anyway, everytime I go to this market I am very pleased with the environment and customer service and the layout of the market. Keep up the good work.

Omgggg I saved $28 on a $62 bill! The shrimp were $7 for $20 bags! I loooove this place... the ice cream was only $3, and 5 crab cakes for $5.However the fresh produced as over priced compared to other local markets

I really, really enjoy their fresh seafood and pre-cooked chicken. The Acme store manager in Roxborough support neighborhood events and small community functions. And they was kind enough to deliver chicken and other prepared items for a repast for free before the pandemic. Thanks you Acme!

Ms Crissy the pharmacist and the young male that had on a red shirt was also nice. The two older ladies that work at customer service are always nice and helpful and the front end is always nice and helpful. There another young lady that works in the pharmacy that fairly new she has a wonderful personality. I refer to her as Ms. Bubbly. You have a really good team in pharmacy there so approachable. I still dont know why Ms Crissy isnt the head manager she deserves it so goes above and beyond for her customers.

Acme at times can be very expensive, but if you look for deals in their circular, you will benefit greatly

My biggest gripe with this store is the fact that the prices you see on discounted items as youre shopping, are hardly ever what comes up at the register when youre paying.Nobody asked you to discount any items, its a choice you made. But you cannot have us having to fight for those discounts to be applied when we check out... thats some bs and yall can do better. Do better!!ETA: this has been an issue for as long as I have been coming here, and its been years.
