Overpriced, limited selection and there is a plastic bag ban, so why are you charging your customers for them? Deplete the inventory for free, and offer reusable bags for sale! I shopped here out of necessity, but wont as a choice.

Too Many Stragglers, Drinking, Drugging, and Smoking. They are in the pathway of entering and exiting. Just be in the way.... Nevertheless; I found the items I needed, the food, good fresh. The bathroom was very dirty, and the lines for check-out long and few. The staff havent been a issue, appearing content and pleasant at check-out. They need to train their employees better. What I experienced on 8-8-21 should never happen in ANY supermarket!!!!! I had spent what seemed like an eternity waiting for 2 sandwiches with my cousins. They need to train their employees for A CUSTOMER ABUNDANCE, in other words a store full of customers. Some people dont want to cook on the weekend, thats why they choose to eat out, and they expect fast, clean service. This wasnt what I observed on 8-8-21. The service has to get better!

It has allot of groceries and thats tge only reason why I come here. But all those people hanging out in front of the market get on my last nerve. You can barely get ya cart through the crowd to get to your car. Then men begging for change. Then cars parked all around the entire exit 🤦🏽‍♀️Get on my last nerves. Like dang leave me alone I just want to get food for my kids and go the hell home

Fresh Grocer has always been a favorite supermarket of mine. Especially the bakery department. The staff is always courteous and professional and provides wonderful baked goods.I was more than pleased as the Baker took pride as my grandson walked up to the counter and asked if his Black Panther birthday cake was ready for his party.The baker very professionally and joyfully talked with my grandson giving him his cake and a happy birthday with a handshake. I absolutely admire service like that Fresh Grocer. 🙂Keep up the good work.

They are well stocked but its dim in there. I hate supermarkets or any store that do not have bright lights. Its as if theyre trying to hide the dirt. The way it set up and the way food is thrown around in there I would think they had a lot to hide. I run in when I know exactly what I need and thats only for a last minute market run and because its the closet supermarket.

Only giving it two cuz of the guys in seafood. They r always sweet and deal with me even when Im m a pain in the butt. Lines are always too long always too crowded. No cheese selection.

This store is pathedic. 3 lines open. No express and no self checkout is the norm. Checkout lines wrapped around the store. Disgraceful Fresh Grocer!

This Fresh Grocer does not allow customers to use the phone behind the Customer Service desk inside the market. I had an emergency & wanted my Boyfriend to bring my wallet to the market, so I can continue purchasing groceries. Unfortunately, Fresh Grocer Representative said she was not allowed to let Customers used the phone. I left Fresh Grocer on an empty stomach.

I never enjoy going to this location because theres always so many people crowded around outside. They could do a better job keeping the floors clean. Theres no social distancing in this store. I stop in if Im nearby just to pick up a few things. But I prefer the Fresh Grocer in Upper Darby.

I missed the Red Bull they sell at Sullivan Progress Center. I found the Black bear chicken breast. Picture perfect ; )

Horrible customer service thru out store ... especially seafood dept/today I needed to update my review.8/3/21 Upon arrival at the seafood department I was not greeted by the clerk because he was working behind the counter however he did see me, but did not acknowledge me, so I raised my hand for him to acknowledge me and I asked him do you have any salmon ?he said sure give me 15 minutes however time was passing I started noticing him ( name Dennis) prepping and preparing for the display case, I’m wondering what happened to customer service skills, why not service me and then finalize his prep/ preparation for the display so I went and got a manager named Joe after I explained everything to Joe, He spoke to Dennis and turned to me and said give Dennis a little bit of time, I thought that was weird because it’s not customer service skills so I went and got another manager named John who spoke to Dennis and I was immediately serviced .

Last minute item and I was right there at Fresh Gorcer

I love this place. I went in for a few items that were easily found and checkout was quick.

Meats were a bit pricey but its ok. The sweet potato pie was delicious! The parking lot is a horrendous accident/fight ready to happen, it needs to be monitored its ridiculous!

Sandwich and hoagie are very goodand fresh grocery stay stock.

Wide aisles, good food selections. Liked the pre made food section. Lots of variety.

I love the Fresh Grocer of 56th & Chestnut. Its very clean & customer friendly. I can even get a safe ride home with my groceries. This store is so convenient for me to shop & take care of my banking needs.

Its pretty good save for one thing. The carpet on the floor at the entrance. Its very dirty and smelly and needs to replace with new fresh smelling carpet.

Alot of people go here because it is right by the train station. I went during the middle of the day so It was not too crowded. I never use to shop here because I use to think they were expensive but Since they started getting shoprite products theyre prices are so much better. Im also always lucky to get a super nice cashier who seem to like their job. I like the fact that I can pick up my grocery and get something to eat, their food is also usually pretty good and portions always decent. Oh! And if you have a taste for something, More than likely you will find it here.

Bag service and workers was very helpful

Just werid atmosphere. Lot of gossipy young girls work the registers. Feels like high school. Anyoing hackman literally at the front door makes it unpleasant to walk in.

Customer service is sub-par. I called the corporate office over one month ago to resolve an issue I had in the store with two untrained associates and one manager. I still have yet to hear back from anyone. The issue was minor but the lack of accountability from the manager and the corporate office reveals a bigger issue with this company.I understand that bar codes sometimes ring up incorrectly but it seems the associates arent trained how to read the correct price on the tag or how to refund the correct amount for the difference. Still waiting to hear from corporate about this.

This is my goto Grocer. The aisles make sense unlike the grocer they use to have at 40 and walnut. Additional theyre usually well stocked here.

I like going to The Fresh Grocer because they have different varieties of food to choose from and its fresh, not wilted. Also, its rare to find the shelves bare from any items. But, there are times the ladies from customer service can be snotty, but other than that its a good and clean supermarket.

I would give more stars because the food is actually good but they do not cover that stuff up and I seen a fly on an item and said something to the guy in the back and he looked at me like I was crazy. Ill go back when they get lids or some kind of covering for the food.

I was very surprised at how smooth everything ran in the midst of all the chaos when I was there. I visited the afternoon before Thanksgiving, with COVID-19 rates soaring. So you can imagine how crazy it was but the staff worked like it was a normal day, friendly, pleasant & efficient. Great service!

I live around the corner and I come here at least twice a week. Hours are great and you can get in and out quick.UPDATE! Just stopped in and grabbed a quick meal to go. The meat log was superb. Just like Mama used to make. Not my Mama, but someone’s mama who really knows how to cook.

The layout of the check-out stuffs people in close quarters when its even slightly busy. Which.. during a pandemic is dangerous. On the bright side to that, masks are required and Ive never seen anyone in there without one except once, and they had a mask it was simply pulled down.Selection is good and prices are okay. If youre looking for quarters on laundry day theyll only give up to two dollars, if any at all.Only thing thatd bring this up a star or two would be making it so people can socially distance at check out and making it 24/7 for those unable to get there during daytime hours because of work or school.

Prices are good...if you need a quick item or 2...deer park waters always on sale... neighborhood kinda sketchy but now a days everywhere is sketchy...get in and get out.. they also have van service to take you home if you spend 50 bucks I think.
