Horrible customer service! I ordered items for curbside and waiting an hour for my items that never came! I have 3 different people ask me what was my name & all three seemed to have forgotten I was waiting. I have my 2 year old in the car screaming until she went to sleep! I was extremely polite and patient for them to just casually say “ok I’ll just cancel your order!” Like my items weren’t needed!!!
The shelves were stocked but there’s hardly any attendants there in the morning. You have three cashiers there 7am with no self checkout’s and the store be crowded. Even before the pandemic it was like this. Not a good look for a business
The store was stocked better than my last visit. Only item they didnt have was a bucket. I had to purchase a construction bucket for $1.68-not bad. Not one employee smile and thats sad..retail is these days is difficult.
Great selections and great checkout lines. The customer service was very helpful
Been working here 2 years, the people are wonderful, customers are crazy and inventory seems to always have exactly what you dont need but never what you do need but this is probably the most calculate location for a Walmart in Philadelphia and a lot of athletes come by do to it being down the street from the stadium and practice facilities for most of Philadelphia sports teams.
Most of the booth were open and most the people hsd mask and the Isles werent crowed.
This Walmart is a Supercenter for sure!Anything you can imagine this store has it. I cant wait until I come back to shop here again.
It just wasnt the same like years ago. I went there to shop for groceries and the fruits and vegetable didnt look fresh, the shelves were skimpy, there were long lines and after awhile the cashier or maybe it was the supervisor were telling people that they were closing. It was about 3 people working . I was told 7 workers called out. The quality of store has gone down. I forgot to take a picture of the food and I didnt want to get out of line. Im not going back there for sure and I didnt get any grocery.
I love walmart the employees they are polite and know there jobs there are the best.
Great, Ive found the video game I was looking for & it was on sale, better than game stop.
The parking lot is always full. Checkout lines are very long because they usually only have 3 or 4 registers open. Not sure what happened to the self-checkout aisle but they don’t do that anymore apparently. One time I stood in line for almost an hour! It’s Walmart: you can get almost anything you can think of here. The products are actually pretty good, especially considering the price. I guess that’s why it’s so busy in there are all time. But that’s also why sometimes they run out of certain things frequently. & sometimes the produce section looks pretty sad.In my experience the employees have been really helpful, however. I think if Walmart paid them more, the customer experience at this store would be 100x better. There’s no reason they aren’t able to take better care of the people who work there & hire more workers.
This location at Pier 70 would get better ratings if they hired more cashiers. You always see the stock ppl. and they are super helpful, however they are primarily there to stock. The Optician office inside is Awesome; with great customer service and up- beat personalities. Please, hire cashiers
Of the three Walmarts in Delaware County this one is by far the best!
Walmart is a great place to shop, you find all that you need there
Despite the influx of customers from all over, I was able to be in and out last Saturday between 8am and 9am. The aisles were well stocked, I even managed to grab a few toys for the grands..the holidays are fast approaching. Alot of the carts were still fastened together but other than that everything was a breeze..most items were affordable
Walmart theory of having one store for all proved to be successful for the last 12 years, running out of some items prove that inventory control is not quiet well.Is it true that staying at the top very hard goal to achieve!
Had good experience. For once had a gentleman who was very down to earth and genuine help me out. Taller guy. That can come off as sounding stuck up, but its not intended that way. We have all been there!! A person is at their job, but instead of doing it they are playing around. Trust me I get it, many people these days are not being paid their worth. I feel this way at my job!!However when I do a job no matter what or how it is, I feel like thats me and Im going to make the best of it, do it with hard and integrity and most of all be me!! I do this not just at work but in my every day life, I put a smile on my face a be real with any a everyone. After writing a novel, point is, the two tall African American guys in elections today, had integrity, we laughed, a was a great experience on my end!PeAcE
Fast and as usual, no stay in any State is not complete unless we head to yet another Walmart. Glad they are all played out the same. Great employees very clean and neat.
If youre looking for a one stop shop this is one of the larger Walmarts in the area with a large grocery sectionUnfortunately that means the garden and seasonal section is... LessSo skip if youre looking for holiday decor or plants
This Walmart serves a critical need in the densely populated South Philadelphia area. With the pandemic they are doing an admirable job of getting people in and out of the store while maintaining safety and vigilance. I thank all the employees of Walmart for being there for everyone in this time of need.
Theres never not a line for checkout that takes longer than actual shopping.Staff are never available to unlock displays, so youll need to hunt someone down, wait for them to radio, then wait for someone to eventually come... This can take up to 23 minutes the longest Ive waited for spray paint.Redeeming quality of the store is that theyre the only place I can find stroopwaffles for a reasonable price, and the freeze dried basil is excellent.
Dirty, nasty, long lines, not enough cashiers. I wish they had - star rating I would rate this Walmart at least a negative 3 star.Shame on you Walmart
Went there figuring I could kill two birds with one stone. I needed some things, but needed to cash my paycheck to pay for said things. I googled it before I went, it said you can cash checks there. I get there and find out that you cant. Every employee I encountered aside from the woman who was at the money center, was rude. One even blatantly ignored me after I said excuse me, miss? 3 times. She gave me her back and helped someone else instead, even though I had been trying to get her help for like 3 minutes prior
Extremely out of this world, short staffed, 1 cashier for every 10-15 costumers, register card readers are broken . Extremely ghetto location plenty of members on the floor, none on the front end! Management is a joke! This can’t be legal.
I like this store better than the one that is closer to me. Its cleaner, people are nicer, and most of the employees are helpful.
Was HORRIBLE! NOT EVEN AN IRON IN THE STORE. No pest products among a lot of other items. Just smh. Oh and no helpers on the floor. SHAPE UP WALMART. YOU ARE MY FAVORITE SHOPPING CENTER. 😪
I went to the Supercenter yesterday to purchase an item. I was helped by several employees, who also showed me how to use the item. I was thoroughly impressed with how knowledgeable both employees were! I had a great experience! Thank you again!!!
Lots of carts available. Lines were open. Nice woman in the beauty department. Parking lot was clean.
Great place to shop prices not to bad
Its a Walmart, best part of my day was seeing the Philadelphia Fire Department parked outside while a couple members were inside shopping.
My wife and I tried the store since we were in the area and heard prices were good. We wont be going again.Incredibly busy, shopping carts EVERYWHERE in the parking lot and it felt like half the shelves were empty. We also felt like the prices we no match for Lidl or even Fresh Direct. The only good thing was that customers were made to wear masks and masks were handed out at the door.
I was pleasantly surprised when I went to the Del Ave Wal-Mart. It was clean, well stocked, employees were friendly + quick to help. The last time I was there it was literally a nightmare ... they did a nice job rebounding! I will be back!
Totally organized. Clean, well stocked, and curtious staff staff. Lots of parking
This Walmart very busy ..So i understand being followed around and watched by security, but the customer service of the employees there needs work no one should be a cashier with out training on customer service because i could be having a bad day and as a customer i dont need attitude from an employee of a business im spending my hard earned American Dollars...but besides that the store was fully stocked with the items i came for..👍😇
It was huge and had a tremendous amount of sale items in large sizes as well. The one thing that kept me from giving it five Stars was non-friendliness attitudes of cashiers, customer service desk and personnel staff in general; not up to standard, all of them seemed angry or had an attitude...nobody greeted or smiled at or with me.I dont know whether it was me or the training but a little bit more effort would have helped this story to be a five stars place to shop. #😇!
One of the most well stocked stores in Philly, but they need more electric carts for the differently abled. This store is always SUPER BUSY, except for the first 2 or 3 hours after opening.
Customers are very fast and family oriented. Very informative store manager.
I generally dont like Walmart and usually dont shop there. But the atore is very large with pretty much anything you might want to buy...including food... and their prices are very competitive.
Very dirty store. There was throw up in the middle of the floor that no one bothered to clean up. The parking lot looked like a horror movie.... Trash everywhere!!!
Got what I needed and I was pleased with how well they were stocked up.
Always good to shop there lol always spend extra money cause they got everything
This location used to be good but the quality has gone down substantially. The lines are long and the aisles are often disorganized. The McDonalds in here takes forever and is often out of most of the menu.
Its my first time at this Walmart. Its funny though, I rated a Walmart elsewhere, and recently, my favorite of the Hypermarket/department store chain due to their abundance in vlogging equipment. And while I still admire their selection (based on a demographic I suppose) This Walmart on Columbus Blvd in South Philly takes the cake. I just bought a really decent clip on lavelier condenser mic for only 5 bucks. It works great! Pro quality! They also have the bigger better vlogging mic with a phone clip or boom attachment, lighting, discrete body cams, action cams, you name it, theres way more. ILL never go anywhere else for vlogging equipment probably unless its an exclusive rare accessory I need or if Im at 5 below on a spending binge, 😆 Anyway, I award this Walmart the rare extra 5th star.
Pretty clean and organized compared ti moss Walmarts but its hard to find an assistant
Very busy but surprisingly got out quick. The people were friendly and helpful.
I get my all stuffs from Walmart for my first solo road trip Newyork to Miami and solo camping gears. Walmart sells everything beside some expensive flying drone. I would love to visit again if I need to buy things for outdoors.
Great. The old manager returned this weekend. Excellent Manager and terrific people person.
Have to admit, this is one of the best Walmarts Ive ever been to.
Today I received incredible customer service from Rasheed in the electronics department. He was patient and very knowledgeable especially when I was getting frustrated. He made my purchase easy and effortless and didnt make me feel stupid when I didnt know alot of basic things. Thank you a million times over.👍
The store was crowded, as usual, and several items that I was looking for werent in stock. There are never enough cashiers to accommodate the customers and long lines are the norm. Definitely not one of my favorite places to shop!
I absolutely love Walmart... as a matter of fact I am on my way there now
Possibly the worst shopping experience ever. Once in a blue moon, I get lured by a low price. But getting up the strength to walk into this store is challenging. Its messy and virtually every shelve is full of boxes and packages that have been opened up, and left, by customers.
It was very good I love shopping at Walmart. Cuz Walmart has everything basically that I need
Besides being short on cashiers ...other then that...outstanding.
They never have anything. They dont have any workers that care enough to help you find anything. Its a shame because it use to be a great store to go to and a great outing for families to do. When you hear lets go to Walmart every body would get so excited to go. Now the fun is gone. No body wants to go.
It was a horrible Experience. I spent $89 and forgot I needed batteries 38 to be exact !! When I went back I was told SOMEONE had to retrieve them from isle 24. This isle had 20 people in line. Isles 23 and 24 were the only isles open. It was 15 minutes until closing so the manager opened up 5 more lines HOORAY, NOT . THESE NEW ISLES WERE CARD ONLY NO CASH. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TES WHERE THEY SHUT DOWN THE REGISTERS AFTER CLOSING. IT WAS HORRIBLE. I WAITED A HALF HOUR FOR BATTERIES. THIS WAS LONGER THAN IT TOOK FOR ME TO PURCHASE THE ORIGINAL 6 ITEMS I NEEDED THE BATTERIES FOR. KHALIFA SHABAzz
Easy to find what you are looking for, no waiting in long lines great prices
This is just your run of the mill Wal-mart. Its a lot better than the the one in North Towers in Philadelphia. I stood in the baby section for over 25 minutes, waiting for an associate with the key to open the case. I bounced back and forth the whole time asking Are they coming?, and was replied to with a supposedly reassuring Yes, theyre on their way. Well, when a person actually came, he divulged to me that the associate Didnt want to come over so they sent him. Why is there always a over abundance of workers but never any of them doing anything except flapping their gums and avoiding confused customers.
Needs better restocking and needs to be cleaner. Long lines. But prices are great.
Love ordering groceries online and having it delivered to the house!
Great place to shop. It can be pretty busy but then 8 did say its a great place to shop. Food, clothing, pharmacy and so on. Friendly staff
Its different from mechanicsburg. Big difference. When i see deodorant and toys placed behind glass and you need to call a clerk.
I prefer to shop in New Jersey. Stopping in Philadelphia was a mistake. Things were strewn all over the place. I felt like I worked there, I just kept picking things up and putting them on the nearest rack.Check out was UNBELIEVABLE. The lines were all the way down the aisles. People were starting to get upset, you really couldnt blame them.
Great they have all product and complete, but be carefull and always check your receipt sometimes they charge you more or wrong prices just sayin
Not from philly area, but went to 2 different Walmart. One had a home depot next door. That was a disaster. It looked like a tornado hit it. 630 am mind you. The second one gets the stars. Dont know location but it was really close and it was immaculate. Neither had what I was looking for.
Kind of hard to give more stars. Shopped for a good hour, only to walk out & leave all my stuff when I took a look at the line and the 2 hours of my life I wouldnt be getting back if I stood in. Maybe if corporate allotted enough employees to cover the 96 registers they have in store to cover the 85 people trying to check out 45 people trying to check out
It allways have what i needed meet nice people i get what i need for house it very helpful i love it .
1st time Ive been at this Delaware Ave Walmart and it wasnt jammed packed! However, the shelves were kinda empty. I guess you cant have everything.
Worst walmart ever! Lines are always crazy long. Staff Is rude and unhelpful. Every time I walk in this place I immediately regret it lol
The longest lines I have EVER seen!! Lines are so long, they extend into the shopping area making it difficult to shop!
All Walmarts are not equal this is one of the better ones
Good service I little bit slow but no to long
Need to clean this place. Like a detailed cleaning of walls, cracks and crevices. I could tell that the night crew didnt clean. I got there when it first opened and the floors werent swept or mopped.
Never enough cashiers or lines open, its very frustrating. The size of the lines were rediculously long. I ended up checking out back in electronics as I refused to wait in any of the 4 lines that were open with well over 20-30 ppl in them. My cashier at electronics was nice, but that line quickly became crowded as well, and know one came to help the poor guy! I dont know if ill be going back to this location for awhile.
They have literally everything and at great prices!!!.... Cant ever go wrong here !!!
Avoid this place even if it saves you $100. I thought I would save but it comes at a cost of your dignity. Cant believe i have stooped this low in my life... RUN AWAY!!! Right now... dont go here..... RUN!
Extremely dirty place. Shelves are empty. Employees are rude and have double standards (they yell at you for not wearing a face mask, but then refuse to wear it). Take your money elsewhere
Typical intercity Walmart. Never in stock, rude, disgruntled employees, etc. Dont complain... just go out to the county for better service.
I love Walmart The only issue is the long line 😪😪
Only four cash registers open which is ridiculous with long lines. Walmart does not want to pay their employees what they should deserve so now customers need to wait 20 to 30 minutes to check out!
I love Walmart one of my favorite stores
Curbside delivery wasnt actually curbside and you had to go into the store to attain your package. It was about 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday and the lines were horrendous. New self checkout and even the express lines were at least a half an hour wait. Columbus Blvd location. Additionally you could not even check in for your curbside delivery. The phone number led you to the website and the website led you to the phone number!!!
They never have more then 2 or 3 registers open at a time. It doesnt matter what time or day I go, I always wait 45 minutes to check out
Best shopping center every great services respectful employee
Service kind of slow, but this time was better.
Its the worst WalMart Ive been to the lines are too long. Ive tried for some time to buy things there, but Im not waiting for 20 min or late nger to check out, even in the self checkout. Im old and cant stand that long
Overall the whole store was clean. I went at like 5pm on a Tuesday so there were not as many people compared to the weekends when its packed. The entrance has disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer which is nice! There is a lot of loitering of people just outside of the store which I dont know why Walmart hasnt gotten rid of them since it makes going in there a little intimidating. The produce was fresh and the aisles were clean and nicely organized. My only ehh thing about my visit here and why I am giving it a 4/5 stars is because the conveyor belt for the checkout that I was in was not working and they had a box there saying it wasnt working. I think they easily could have moved to another checkout area for working there since there were five unused ones. Other than that, it was a good visit and I will be returning soon to continue making my purchases there.
I purchased Adobe Photoshop 2020 and installed it, but they didnt activate it, returned to store and they still wouldnt activate it! Adobe also wouldnt activate it, they said store had to do it.Seems like normal operation to rip people off with no remorse.I have come to expect more from Walmart. Philadelphia Walmart brought the average way down.
