The best!!!! T-bone Breakfast Ive had. A wonderful breakfast cafe/diner. My husband and I were talking how it reminds us of the very first Dennys. Great Customer Service, waitress was awesome!

I went to the mayfair dinner today for lunch.and was greeted by this women who had the best friendliest and personality. I couldnt believe how comfortable she made us feel. The food was excellent. The service was great. I will definitely be back for the great food and the great welcoming by this lady who was so kind hearted and made sure we all left with a smile on our faces.

I hadnt been to Philly for a couple of years for the Obvious Reasons and I wanted a hyper-concentrated Philly Diner experience. This delivered. Theres more grease on that plate of eggs Florentine than in the entire state of Vermont. We asked if they had sourdough for toast and our server scoffed and pointed out the window at the sign and said with a smoked-out south Philly accent its a dinah and immediately went on a smoke break. There were more Eagles t shirts in the dining room than in any given merch stand at an actual Eagles game. Go birds.

Waitress Cathy, was very helpful. Gerry, manager came over to make sure everything was okay and was willing to fix any issues. Another Waitress came over to assist with a matter. We enjoyed our food and the hospitality. They were very friendly and polite. We will return.

Tasty classic burger. Fries were perfectly crunchy. Great portion. Not overwhelming. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Waitress was polite and attentive. Husband says the Reuben was really good

What a grea t place to grab a bite to eat! Upon entering we were greeted by a woman named Gerrie, she was so sweet & accommodating today & the servers were on point as well. I definitely will be back again with my girlfriends.

The service at the front here is terrible. There was us and another couple waiting to be seated while more than half the place was empty and we still waited over 40 mins. People had gotten up but no one was bussing the tables. So I asked if they could do something and this guy was just like wait a minute. Then just stood there organizing the register. I get that covid has killed your seating space but you should really hurry and clear the few available tables you still have to use. But I digress, the eggs benedict was some of the best we ever had and the pancakes and sausage with ends were pretty good. Other than the guy at the front the service was ok.

We came here for a pre-church breakfast and were very impressed. The food was above average diner fare but the atmosphere was absolutely superb. It felt like I was in a small town, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and enjoying the usual in a diner filled with close friends. Great place.

The host didn’t even greet us, the one woman didn’t want to serve us, the lady who did was rude. I feel like they judged us and assumed we weren’t gonna too simply because we are a younger couple

A friend and I had breakfast here and it was so good. The coffee is excellent our food was excellent service was excellent. I would go back again and I recommend this dinner to everyone!! 5 stars

First came here when I moved to Philly food is good waitresses very good Gerry the hostess very good my fiancee and me would come out for breakfast on weekends or dinner after the movies she passed away 6 months ago but Everytime I come here I remember the great memories we had 👍thank you Mayfair diner

Went for breakfast date with my child. The food was cold, bread was old but they toast it so can look presentable to eat? 🤦🏻‍♀️the pancake taste processed and the bacon was super crispy(hard to chew) waiting for a long time to receive our food to arrive to the table and took one bite of it found an egg shell in our eggs and immediately paid and left this Mayfield Diner. Oh yeah they charge me$30 for horrible food and service. I will never return back to this Mayfield diner. Please folks do not go to the place. It’s awful 🤢!!

I am disgusted seeing multiple mice running around the floor of the restaurant and under the tables where people are eating dinner!!!!! This is disgusting that the management and ownership of this restaurant does not take initiative to clean especially during these times!!!!! I have reported this to the public health department and I am just Disgusted.

Decorum a little dated.. but food was pretty good. Ordered breakfast foods, pancakes, bacon, vegetable omelet, home fries and coffee. The coffee was very weak and they dont serve filtered water. So stick to the orange juice. Lol.

I had to use the bathroom but with all this covid stuff youre really not allowed to its NOT thief FAUGHT we need to take this up with Pelosi and Biden anyway they did let me use it thank God cause I had to go so bad and I felt really sick well my friend had to come in the bathroom looking for me I had fallen on my head again NOT thief fault I have fibromyalgia, seizure disorder and other things I wont mention but they were so sweet making sure I was okay offering me a drink something to eat Mayfair dinner thank you for your support for the disabled you guys are the best and berry good workers also store was so clean I possibly could have are off the walls and floor I have a high bump on my head now but I feel alot better Im not even sure what happened in that bathroom very scary!!!

The staff could have been a little more presentable.. The food average. Not tasty but not horrible.

Our waitress was great, she even earned a $20.00 tip, but the food was not that great, my mother got fried shrimp that were a little tough, coleslaw she did like and mashed potatoes with brown gravy that didnt have any flavor, my sister and I got 2 eggs over easy, not seasoned, scrapple, over cooked, and hashbrowns, again no seasoning no taste, but the service was great.

Food was good, waitresses were terrific. They need to eliminate the leftwing news casts on the television, it ruined an otherwise pleasant dining experience.

This is the place to go for great food and friendly service. My family used to go here when I was a kid and I go here a couple times a week for breakfast. Theyre still keeping up with covid standards of disinfecting and distancing.

Had breakfast here today. Our first indoor dining experience since Covid. It was amazing! We were greeted at the door by a very friendly hostess who asked questions about Covid exposure before we were allowed to be seated. All staff wore masks and face shields, and every other table was closed for social distancing. Very friendly staff and delicious food! We felt very safe eating there! Great experience!

Met my brother and his wife there for a sit down meal. Took my service dog in with no issues. Food was great, service was wonderful. Safety procedures were enforced. Great place.

One of the few places that had indoor seating. just needed to kill some time with the family before dinner and they were kind enough to let us sit and just munch and drink. All the food we saw going by looked really good, the pancakes looked awesome! I would definitely check them out.

Due to Covid, they split parties of more than 4. We had 5 but they kept us close to each other. It was cold in the restaurant the entire time. It took a long time for the food to come. When it finally came it was just okay... except that the crab cakes were not good.

Parking is tight. Place is clean. All the staff was friendly & helpful. We had breakfast which was ok at best. They seemed to have a hard time with every special request, i.e. well done toast, still got warm bread, soft bacon, received very crisp bacon, asked for American cheese in my omelet instead of mozzarella, well you guessed it, I got mozzarella.

My Waitress was great and the food was good, I were very happy.

Table and seats wee dirty. Crumbs and scrambled egg pieces on seat and table. Had to wipe down ourselves.Staffing not thinking clearly, at first they were going to wait to sit us at a table in a crowded section. Luckily another person came from the back and sat us on the empty side that only had 2 other guess instead of the side that had like 10-15 people already seated. But unfortunately it was a dirty table.

Mayfair dinner is one of the best diners in Northeast Philly. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is clean, warm, and inviting. The waitresses are friendly and polite. Its also very family friendly so be sure to bring the kids along.

Staff very professional and courteous. Have not had a bad meal in the 8 years that I have been going there.

I cannot say enough good things about the Mayfair Diner. It is an institution and a staple in my family. We have been going there for more than 20 years and will continue to go for at least another 20. Their food is great and decently priced. All of the staff is kind, friendly, and courteous. Their kitchen and waitstaff are also fast. It is easy to make personalized modification. We love them so much that whenever someone is visiting from out of town, we make sure to make at least one trip to Mayfair. All of their food is great, but I highly recommend the hot roast beef and gravy sandwich or the hot turkey and gravy sandwich. Two of lifes great comfort foods. Delicious!

The Mayfair Diner,was very nice clean,it was a wait to be seated about 15 to 20 minutes. The menu cost had inflated but not the serving portions stayed the same.Everyone is practicing safe distance.
