Amazing food!! Ended up going two nights in a row. They are generous with their portions and are so nice!

Delicious food, nice ambience

Im Indian and Im pretty sure this is not how you make chicken fry. I paid $11 for this and there is barely any chicken. I tasted a lot of flour. No flavor. No spices/masala whatsoever. Just food coloring and flour. And some old chicken.

We ordered for around 45 people and all the items are tasteless. Not at all good. I strongly dont recommend you this restaurant. This is not the first time.. this is the third time.

I’ve ordered from here several times. The food is always delicious. I was running late for work on Sunday night and called to place an order. The phone just rang so I assumed they were closed. Then a man named Perry called back and I placed a last minute order, mind you it was Easter Sunday night at 8:30pm. They close at 9. Perry happily greeted me and had my order hot, delicious and ready to go. Great customer service and great food. As always, I’m one happy customer 😁

I ordered the samosa, which tasted authentic, the golbi 65, butter chicken, and navratan korma for pick up. All of the items I got were delicious. Service was helpful and very accommodating when it came to my vegan wife.

Call Tiffin First!!!A Place that should go under because of covid...Drove past this place and want to support small business in these times. Everything was cool ordering, wasnt given a total. No big deal menu prices are online. So I have to sign for the food. Wait?! I had to go back inside to get a pen? Not a good look. Second time through the door my dog almost gets out cause my mind was busy looking for a pen. Minus a star and a half. Then I get my receipt next to the menu and the prices are different. They receive a call from me and the guy nonchalantly says yeah the prices went up. So why not update the online pricing to let people know? Then he proceeds to ask me how much is it more $2 or 3$. You raised the prices tell me...Offered a refund of whatever he felt it might be and I denied it to leave this review. Minus 2 stars with a $4 delivery fee a pen would be nice. And yes I tipped $5 on top.Tiffin is going to be your best bet for Asian food in the area.

Nice place to meet and catch up with family. i had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. it has a good interior.

This place is completely over-priced and a total rip off. We spent $42 +tip and received small portions that were not worth the money.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are great and the stuff is very friendly and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we have a pleasing evening. highly recommended.

I dont usually eat Indian food but the food was phenomenal I suggest anyone to stop by. They suggested what I should get and the food was spot on. Loved the cauliflower appetizers too.

Biryani Bowl Indian Cuisine definitely has amazing tasting food. Their tikka masala is particularly delicious. And everything has the perfect amount of spice. My only complaint, which is the reason I am leaving a four star review instead of a five star review, is that the indoor seating is not the best. I would say this is the perfect place for take-out Indian food, but it might not be my go-to place if I am eating sit-down.

I ordered samosa, goat biryani, veg biryani and malai kofta. The samosa was great and tasted like authentic. For biryani apart from the quantities were kids menu, it did not taste as biryani at all, it tasted like white rice. Kofta Malai had no flavors. Very disappointed!

Mediocre, but Ive only tried a few veg dishes. Chana masala and chole batura (chickpea dishes) both very bland, dal makhni (kidney beans) hot but thin, and not very interesting. Rice was good. Maybe the biryanis are better?

Mediocre. Id skip this one. Chicken Tiki marsala, rice, Naan - $18. It wasnt bad... but it just wasnt good. Portion sizes were *not* generous; tons of sauce, not a lot chicken...If youre desperate for Indian food, go for it. Otherwise, youll probably be happier somewhere else.

We ordered takeout this evening, and I have two problems here.1, The food is priced at a premium, but delivers a substandard quality product.2, The treatment seen in the below reviews by the owner to paying customers makes number one look not so bad in comparison.Both are disqualifiers.If I was the owner I would reflect on the negative feedback provided - appreciating that folks are taking time to write and inform me of ways I can be my best, for free. I would do all that I could to understand the problems and shortcomings facing my business, and investigate surrounding competitors to ensure my product is better. If youre not excellent, then what is the point? That goes for all things: spices, prices, attitudes, and perspectives.

Probably the best Indian food I have had in the Philadelphia area. The service here is very fast, and they are also very nice here. Chef puts a personal touch on every menu item, so while the recipes are similar to food Ive had that other Indian places, this place is unique and just better quality in every category I can think of. Well definitely go back here, would only go somewhere else if Im out of town.

THERE WAS HAIR IN MY FOOD! I ordered garlic naan, butter chicken and some other items. There was hair on the naan, and in the butter chicken. When I called the restaurant the man who answered the phone acted like he didnt understand why I wanted a refund.

So basically it was paneer biryani including all veggies.When we opened at home and ate, we found few chicken pieces in midle. My wife is pure vegetarian and it is not so acceptable. Its a big issue.For some ppl it must be a regular thing to eat chicken, but for pure vegetarian people its like a question of life or death. Ordered vegetable Korma ...and it was nothing but a bowl of potatoes in sauce . It was about 3 peas in there. Im ordered vegetable because i wanted to avoid carbs !!! The potatoes arent even soft. I wont be going back for overpriced wack food .

Cute place. Well maintained. We had Gobi Manchurian, paneer biryani and double ka meetha for lunch. The Manchurian and double ka meetha were good. Biryani was not up to the standard however. It tasted more like pulav. You got to have good biryani if your restaurant has biryani in its name!!

They charge you an 18% service charge and ask for a tip on the screen. DO NOT TIP. The food and meat was probably very old. I had to go to the bathroom several times after eating from this place.

We used to go there to eat. Biriyani was really good when we visited first 2-3 times but quality has fallen after that and unfortunately very unprofessional behavior for taking order both at venue and for delivery. Would not recommend. Sad that we wont be going back again. Wish they improve their service and quality both.

I get delivery and takeout from here often. Usually pretty empty (everybody else gets it delivered too) so its easy to get a table if you do want to eat in and the service is great.

Your restaurant was open and we were there. NOBODY was there to welcome and it took forever for the server to show up!And finally this inability of yours to take criticism is neither gonna improve the taste of your food nor you attitude! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

No star. What an awful food and service combination. Very expensive food that tastes horrible. The staff members are of course not trained to run a food joint professionally. Worst experience being there and spending money at a place that is not customer friendly. I would highly discourage people to support a business like this. Hopefully the owner will read all these comments and take ownership of the staffs behavior and do something about it. I am definitely not going there or recommending this place to anyone. I stand here regretting my decision to have taken my kids to a place where their parents were straight out disrespected in front of them.

I was very happy with my visit. The service was great, and the food was terrific. This was my first time trying Indian food and I was very pleased. The boneless chicken biryani was delicious and you get quite a significant portion size. The garlic naan was also very good. If you are looking for a spicy dish, you should definitely try this place.

This is by far the worst tasting Indian food I have ever had. I love Saag Paneer and there were large cloves in it which normally do notend up in your spinach like bones. The spinach looked like frozen chopped and not cooked down creamy like I am use to. The Chicken 65 had no spice or sauce. I ordered the pickles and received mango chutney or something sweet. I am just assuming that is what it was.

Small restaurant offering very good food. Five of us, very different dishes, all excellent. Each dish had its own unique flavor.

Being an Indian i am very familiar with indian food and being a foodie I live for delicious Indian food. This used to be one of my favorite places however there food quality has really become subpar in the past few months with stale chicken biryanis and flavorless butter chicken etc.To top that the staff was openly insulting and hostile. We recently went in to have appetizers and tea and the waiter essentially threw us out saying that it wasnt worth their time and table space and this was when the restaurant was essentially empty. I will certainly never be going back there and I wouldnt recommend it to any of my frnds either.

Sadly, it did not meet our expectations and taste buds. The breads were dry and lacked freshness and substance. The Dal Makhani tasted like refried beans, possible queso from a local Mexican restaurant down the street. Rice was white rice nothing more to say about that. The chicken masala was chicken. Nevertheless, indian food is great because of the spices and freshness....so this did not meet those requirements.

Unbelievable lunch Biryani Bowl Indian Cuisine for $10.95 w plenty of variety for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. I decided to go the veg route and dined liked a beast.

These guys are always very friendly and their food is delicious. I recommend the saag paneer, butter chicken and garlic naan but really have not ever been disappointed. Always get takeout because I live close but will continue to order from them even if I move further away.

I ordered the goat biryani and samosas, I couldn’t even taste the flavor of the food because it was extremely spicy and I’m not sure if the food even had any flavor/ or seasonings because the spiciness over powered whatever flavor there were . The food is pretty expensive and not be able to enjoy it, what a shame.

Experienced very bad taste. We placed an Togo order for Fish Apollo and Boneless chicken biryani with medium spicy both. They gave whole fish as Apollo fish which is getting sea smell. The biryani is too spicy seems to be mixed with boneless curry and chicken pieces were big and hard to bite. Bottom of biryani is with whole masala and top is covered with flavored rice. Disappointed very badly. I don’t recommend anymore this place.Really really bad experience and trashed whole food. **Usually we don’ waste food but this one we can’t eat if so we this gives stomach burn for whole night..**

One of the worst experiences I had in this restaurant, staff taking too much time to take order and serve, even if we call he is not that much care about Indians and serving americans as first priority.Dish also not at all good, we ordered chiken dum biryani, chicken tikka biryani and shrimp biryani all of them are not at all good. Nerver ever want to visit this restaurant again.Most importantly, they are appling service charge (18%) to the bill by default, for their ultimately worst service. I asked the manager “why you guys were added service charge by default” and he replied like “Americans usually pay tips, but Indians don’t so that we are adding service charge by default..”I am completely disappointed and not at all going to recommend this restaurant..

Worst Indian food. I was Willing to try a new Indian restaurant everything was runny the only thing that was good was the naan and the sumusa i asked if there was any way to resolve the issue they said no it’s what you order so it’s your problem. I can understand that We did order our plates. But it was so unappealing that my table didn’t even eat there entrée.

This restaurant is the worst ever restaurant Ive ever been.I am not suggesting this restaurant to anyone for three reasons.1st- they have a bad custumer service or I would say, a selctive customer service with a racist tendency. When, I entered the restaurant, the manager or cashier didnt greet or at least smile to welcome me instead,He was unpleased to see me coming spend my money in his business by trying to force me to take a togo order.2nd- This restaurant was very slow. They took almost 45mn to cook a lamb biryiani whish is supposed to be the faster meal to cook knowing that I was the only customer on the wating line. Also, they brought me water after 15mn from the time I asked.3rd- the manager is unprofessional.they dont have lamb biryani written in the manue, and I think, he used that to over charge me. As you can see in the receipt they charged me $17.27 for a nasty tasting lamb biryina with nothing on the side. On the top of that, he was even forcing me to give a tip while he was arguing with me. Which is very unprofessional to argue with a customer who just spent his money in your Busines!The sade part is,he even threatened me by telling me that, the next time I come he will charge 25% more for tip and I cant do nothing about that.Please, I am not trying to be rude or emotional. But, it is unacceptable to have such a bad experience without sharing it with you and prevent you in advence mostly if you are not indian or worse, if you are black like me.Thank you.NB.If you read my revew please go ahead and read the rest of the 1 star reviews also. Make sure u tip them bcoz no matter what u feel about the their burn food u will be charged extra for not tipping them they have been cheating for long time and I have gone through the restaurants owner reply he mentions that the app allows him to put pictures that he can show that customers finished their food and then complaining about burn food bro u can put any pictures who’s gonna believe u I am just suggesting all the customers if u wanna test their honesty just pay by card and don’t tip them I guarantee u all will get extra charged and later on if u find out that u have been charged extra and then u call back to check they will say SIR U DIDNT TIP US THATS Y WE CHARGED U SERVICE CARGERD and remember that service charge will not be there on u r bill wen they will present the bill u will get that charged once u walk out and if u call and ask them about extra charge they will say plz don’t come to our restaurant if u come we won’t serve u so basically they just wanna serve only those people who tip them what they trying to do is they hire employees by paying them very less and promising them guaranteed tip so wen someone don’t wanna pay tip they just go out of the way and charge them extra by saying service charge which is not present on u r bill wen they present u the bill plz if can’t pay u r employees close the restaurant do not steal u r employees salary from u r customers pocket .

VERY good food. Much better than the other two indian options in the neighborhood (Tiffin and Baghyas Kitchen). Very consistent, authentic, and great service. The dining room is lacking in the ambiance department, but as a take-out option this place is great.

Good food little pricy

Average biryani, chicken is not fresh they are using frozen items, name reflects biryani bowl but biryani it self they are not making fresh.

Tikka and tandoori were served on a bed of wilted lettuce and without gravy or rice, which came as quite a surprise. I suppose thats fine and all, but makes those dishes at least twice as expensive as they should be. Wait staff was nice, but we wont be returning, its far too expensive for what you get and as others have said, the ambiance is downright terrible.
