This store has EVERYTHING! I was surprised at the variety and volume of products this convenience/grocery store carries. Dry goods, dairy (fancy euro butter --they have it!), general house paper and cleaning products etc. I took a pic of their Bobs red mill section to remind myself how much stuff they carry. My favorite though is the back refrigerated section where they carry housemade tabouleh, hummus and falafel πŸ’—πŸ€©πŸ’— so good!! Easy to grab on your way to the El at Berks Station for a quick and healthy lunch. The cookies in the front are pretty awesome as well.

Best friendly and reasonably priced convenience market that always seems to have what you are looking to find. Plus Mikes familys own Olive Oil is the best Olive Oil I have ever tasted and cooked - so pure and fresh and reasonably priced. Reasonably moved to the neighborhood and discovered the Liberty Choice Market who always are welcoming and friendly. On bad weather days especially - great to know you can trust Liberty Choice to be close by to get your shop done easily. Thank you! Highly recommend! Best, neighbor Vicvtor

This place is always here for me in a pinch, whether it’s grabbing groceries, medicine or a falafel sandwich. The sisters who work here are really sweet.

Completely disgusting. The rice was so hard it was inedible. I’ve been eating rice since I was a child and this tasted like it was left out for the whole day dried up and reheated in the microwave. The hummus was runny. The chicken also dry and very very hard. The pita also hard. I don’t know how this was prepared but will never order from here again. I ordered a baklava and they forgot it, so they had to redeliver.

Cute store. They recently (2017) redid a lot of the store. Dont expect much fresh produce there but they have plenty of refrigerated and shelve stable options. I often buy ORGANIC milk or eggs there on my way home. They also have really good pita bread.

The chicken kabob sandwich is pretty great. Highly recommend. Also good with falafel instead of chicken. The rest of the food I can’t really stand behind, and they’re the most wildly disorganized food kitchen I’ve ever seen (this is not new, they have been for years). The store is well-stocked though it seems to be having a constant identity crisis as they move products around all over the place every few months. Some people that work there are nice, some of them not so much, I’m guessing the management is a little weird but who knows. Overall I’m glad this store is there, they do a couple food items better than most places in Philadelphia, but it does persistently feel like Liberty Choice never quite has its act together.

There is even a small spot in the back where you can order food like falfelsChanging my review from five stars. I just tried calling to see if they were open and this is what I heard I swear to god after this Im not taking nobody Im sick of this I just want to go home. Liberty then when I started talking they hung up. Poor customer service! The lady up front is a sweetheart but unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I live close to liberty choice, Ive been frequenting this location for a awhile now. The food is definitely better than fast food and the homemade cookies in particular might be the best cookies Ive ever had. The female employees are super nice, caring, accommodating and friendly. With that being said, I cant say the same about a few of the male employees. On multiple occasions Ive received the wrong food after ordering over the phone to a male employee which resulted in me paying extra. Ive also observed the careless/negative demeanor of male employees while preparing food in the rear kitchen area of the store. Absolutely amazing cookies though! A hidden treasure!

Nobody ordered a bagel... proceeded to laugh at me like I was crazy and I end up going to work hungry as hell. Thanks liberty.Edit: this SAME breakfast sandwich that used to be $1.50, $3.50 with bacon, is now SIX DOLLARS!!! $6.00 for a sandwich. What the fuQ

This place is a community staple. If you notice, most of the negative reviews have zero to do with food. Some people need to be catered to and that’s just not going to happen like that in Philadelphia. In other words, don’t let the overly privileged patrons trick you into skipping past this jewel.

Ive lived near this place for years and its truly one of the staples of the neighborhood. They have the best falafel in the city, a great Middle-Eastern sweets shop and excellent vegetarian/vegan options. All of the food they prepare is priced reasonably, and the grocery items are all standard bodega prices but they carry lots of otherwise hard to find items.

Used to be a lot better. I stopped ordering food there after I very unfortunately used their bathroom and saw its deplorable state. Not going to go into details but πŸ‘ŸπŸ’¦πŸ’©. The location is convenient and they have most basics, though. Make sure they charge you correctly, however, because you might get ripped off by a rouge cashier.

Ill get gyros from the halal carts instead to satisfy my chicken craving.I hate the long lines, but for a cheap eat you do expect to wait a little.

Lets just say the fries were cold when we receiced them. I told her cheese on the side for the fries & they did the opposite. I ordered pepperoni pizza & received plain pizza with extremely too much cheese. There was barely any sauce on the pizza. The wings were drowned in sauce. Which made it too messy to even want to eat. This was my first time ordering from this place, & i will highly not recommend. I repeated my order to the lady & she still messed up a simple order. Theyre menu clearly gives you the option of a medium pizza but the lady stated they only had two sizes small & large. A waste of 22 dollars but atleast i know not to order from here again

UPDATE: I’m really disappointed with what they did with the place. I used to come for the Shawarma sandwiches all the time. Priced at 3.99 it was perfect, but now they charge $5.99. They also got rid of a ton of the hot food menu items and raised the prices of the Baklava and started making them significantly smaller. It’s quite a bummer because it’s some of the best baklava I’ve ever had. Also, they stopped making the cookies. I used to come here regularly, but now I only come when I absolutely need to. The people are still friendly and the supermarket has a good selection, but the things that took this place from good to great diminished over the summer season.First off, the home made cookies are the best cookies I’ve ever purchased from a store hands down. I love the English Toffee cookies and whenever they have them, the pecan caramel ones. For 7.99 they got this chicken finger platter that comes with 6-8 chicken fingers and a whole lot of fries. Totally worth it. I can normally get 2 solid meals out of it. The staff is very friendly and the groceries are priced reasonably. Some stuff is more expensive than the super market, but this is for convenience.
