DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!Zero ⭐️S should be an option!!Computer and extended warranty was ordered online on 3/3 with a delivery date of 3/5. It was never received. After several call to customer support (in the Philippians), they tried to offer me a $30 credit, that later increased to $50. I continuously stated that I wanted a full refund after one hour on hold, a manager stated a refund would be issued in 3-5 business days.Today, a $20 case of paper with the computer’s order number arrived on my steps! I called customer service again and explained that I received paper instead of the computer. Customer service rep said the system showed that we received it on 3/5!! She then requested that we put the paper outside for pick up tomorrow before the refund can be processed!!WHAT?!? A $20 case of paper in comparison to a $700+ computer?!? They know they don’t have the product so they should just stop playing games and just refund the money!!I’m a teacher and I often buy lots of supplies for my classroom, however I will not ever step foot back into any of their stores or buy even a pencil from thisplace! I will pass this along to my colleagues as well.We are still waiting for our refund, so my next stop is the Better Business Bureau.
Love the self service printing. I was able to easily print some documents by email. Each one-sided black ink sheet is 12 cents. Each one-sided color sheet is 59 cents. They have a parking lot too. The employees were also very friendly and informative as I saw him patiently explaining the quirks of a printing device to a curious customer.

A company is always judged by its weakest link - Today I met Office Maxs weakest link, Donna in the copy center!Being Visually impaired (Blind as a bat with out my glasses). I have to send off some important faxs. I was on line for ten minutes when I realized I accidentally left my glasses in the car and did not want to loose my place in line. Office Max recently acquired new fax, copy machines that were all new to me and especially even more difficult without my glasses..I tried to signal for help from someone finally got the copy center attn (Donna) attention. As she started to walk over I lowered my mask an inch or two so I can ask for help. As I lowered my mask, Donna Yelled SIR PUT YOUR MASK ON NOW I explained I just want to ask you a question. She told me Follow the directions they are right in front of you. Without offing any help, she chose to cause a scene in public.Donna is by far the rudest staff member I have ever met at Office Max or any other place for that matter. Yelling at me out loud and embarrassing me in front of the other customers. I just stood there humiliated, while she repeated a few time Read the directionsPlease note, I have been to this location dozens of times and everyone is always very nice, except Donna. This is my second time dealing with her horrible attitude. At no time did I ever raise my voice to her, she was rude and obnoxious the moment I asked her a simple question.I will not be going back to that location.
The worst store ever! Im 100% sure it is not legal to market and sell someone $2500 of a product you do not have or will not ever have... Then take payment for that item and keep the customer waiting for two days before you cancel their order.... telling them they will have to wait 24 to 48 hours to have their order actually cancelled in the system and another 24 to 72 hours for a refund on a product you never had the ability to sell them in the first place! I never shopped here before and I will not in the future....do your self a favor go elsewhere. Oh yeah if you do have the audacity to complain or want an explanation on these decietful sales practices NO ONE CAN HELP YOU.... OFFICEMAX does not have a US based customer service system all of my calls were to offshore outsourced random people who had no ability to help me and admitted they could not understand why my orders were even accepted! I am very angry that simple good business practices are bring ignored. Things are tough enough with this stupid virus killing innocent people and the economy suffering. Thanks OFFICEMAX for making things worse!
I drop my fedex package on OfficeMax on 1-8-2021 now two week later and the package wasn’t even scanned and when I went to OfficeMax they said their not responsible for it and that fedex is responsible for the package but then when I called fedex they said they aren’t responsible and that OfficeMax is so they left me in the middle of both.
Turquoise was exemplary. My mother and I were having a difficult time formatting a document for my grandmother’s funeral booklet. We called over the phone and Turquoise went above and beyond. Over the phone, she had us email the document. She took a look and confirmed our formatting worked with their printer. We went over and met Turquoise. The document looked perfect. We stood there and printed it while we waited then she offered to fold them as well (there is a machine..). Regardless, another store was giving us the run around, telling us it will take over an hour to print or we’d have to wait until 8:30 tomorrow night! Turquoise made a challenging task during a difficult time in our family easy and simple. We were in and out in 10 minutes with a beautiful booklet/pamphlet for our grandmother.
The workers are always helpful. Without asking for help, they always come up and ask if I need help with something. In which most of the time I do. Thank you all for being so helpful and curtious.
Low on stock on a lot of items
I went to this office max to fax 4 pages and the woman at the counter wasnt any help at all..when I ask her if she could help me faxing as I didnt know how to fax never did it before..she said the instructions are there..follow the instructions ☹️ when I told her that those instructions were confusing she than say sorry we cant do it for you..you have to follow the instructions ..bad customer service!! I left and went to staples...they did help me 😊

In March, I tried ordering some products that were in-stock on their website.A few days later after I noticed they did not ship, I reached out to customer service who said they were now back ordered. At that point (about 7 weeks ago) I requested to cancel and refund my order, since then, Ive made 3 more requests and have yet to be refunded. Absolute nightmare dealing with customer service. Ive spent in total about 2 hours trying to get this resolved. Candidly, this isnt supposed to be this hard - get your act together OfficeDepot/OfficeMax

Ive shopped at OfficeMax for over 15 years. Ive never had a problem & the staff are always nice. Some employees are dedicated & go out their way to help you.
Surprisingly good service. Went to get a poster laminated for the first time, rep was very polite and explained the procedure. Also purchased something that had a discount that expired but still gave it to me. Would definitely come back if u ever needed to laminate anything else!
Albert helped me out. I was looking for a 50 foot Ethernet cable and I didn’t want to wait for my amazon purchase. The Ethernet cable from here was 35 bucks and the one from amazon was 11. I’m writing this review because Albert was able to give me great customer service and was able to help me make a better choice on whether to by a 25 or 50 foot cable. He pulled out a measuring tape and went the extra mile to know I was getting what I needed. While I didn’t want to spend 35 on a cable Alberts customer service made it hard to wait for my amazon purchase.
Seen a printer price in the morning 99 USD, came to the store and its 129 just 6 hours late.lr. Showed them a screenshot with date and time and still didnt price match. It took 15 minutes and conversation with another manager to honor this price so only 4 stars for the firm no we cant at first
I came in this morning to have a Resume and Cover letter printed out and received absolutely no help. I have been coming here periodically over the years and have never had any problems with getting material printed out. I emailed my materials to the email used to get items printed and regardless of what I did a woman with Sandy brown hair said it showed up as a link, and told me the problem is not on their end, but was clueless in coming up with solutions to fix the problem. Will not be returning.
The young gentleman who was doing copying and helping many customers was very proficient and guided me to the self-service area. However the older gentleman with black glasses really couldnt be too bothered with helping me. I reached out to him several times he came over once gave me a very quick Direction and left. I called out for help several times and just ignored. Unfortunately I did require some assistance and was unable to get it. When I checked out I went back to the young man who was again very busy and seem to be doing a lot of things the lot of people by himself. Was very gracious and offer to not charge me for the services. I did not take him up on his offer. But it was kind. They definitely need Moore Staffing there on the floor to assist customers especially those of us who are not completely computer inclined.

Excellent experience this morning. I sent a 152 pages document via the website to the store to be printed in full color, spiral-binded, with a clear cover and red card-stock back. I received a text message less than one hour later stating that my order was ready for pick-up. Walked in and the nice gentleman handed over my completed book along with a receipt and I walked out since I paid online. 👏👏Technology has made running my small business very easy. 👐
Dependable source for quality products.Wanted an eight port router. Did online research to identify a good choice. Google told me that it was available locally for a good price. Drove over, found on the shelf, got it home and installed. Better than anything Amazon could do.
Theres a number of bad reviews, but if youve had trouble at this officemax before, give it another chance. The store is well lit, and the staff is fantastic. I went in on a Saturday to get some things printed out last minute, and the woman at the print desk was polite, professional, and exceedingly patient as I was having trouble with my files.

I drove 20 miles to Officemax for 25-cent scissors that the website said were in stock. Got there the cheapest they had $3.50When I show them the webpage no one cared. I had over $200 worth of stuff in my shopping cart. Oh well Ill stick with Staples. Walked out.
Order an item online for in store pickup, arrived at the instore pickup desk, had to then to go to the regular check out lane to sign for purchase. The line was extremely long felt that ordering on line didnt save me any time because I still had to use the regular checkout line.
The staff is not helpful. The prices are much higher than those at W******. The store is hard to navigate. But the location is convenient.
This place is nice, quiet and clean. Didnt see many floor staff to help customers. A well-organized store. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.
They have a lot of products there somewhere pricing but you get what you pay for so and they have a great system where you could take text messages and emails and have them printed out there if you dont have a printer I have a further text messages
Went to the Fedex facility, spent 1.5hrs trying to print international shipping labels. we filled out the info while the associate was busy attending others. They couldnt figure out how to get the shipping rates to show. Made us fill the label information 5 times and then left us to attend other customers. We waited for a good 20 mins for someone to come back and then walked out.
Went in looking for just two items, they had both in stock. Used my 20.00 off coupon that came in the mail. Quick check out.
We do all of our work printing here and the staff delivers. Sadly our main copy center employee has moved on, but the store manager stepped up to the plate and even in the midst of a septa strike made sure we had our stuff on time. They are unsung heros!
Dont offer price match when asked. Inventory is shrinking specially in tech digital items. If you dont compare prices, youre paying too much. Its big size store .

This location is in the Northeast of Philadelphia.What I came for - I achieved, so for that Im thankful.There is plenty of surface lot parking throughout and its off of a main road, so its easy to access.I came here to have a poster printed. It was well lit inside, and not crowded. The aisles are spacious enough and easy to access whatever youre looking to purchase. The registers are toward the right when you enter, and the printing center further to the right after the registers end.While in the store, I was able to use their free WiFi and order a custom poster right from my phone. The experience using their online ordering was very user friendly and I was able to quickly put together a poster with ease!The attendant was kind of enough to also quickly print my product since I was inside the store (instead waiting the usual 1 hour).Outside the upkeep looks to be at a minimum. There is a lot of litter and trash throughout the parking lot. And the surrounding area looks to be run down.Overall, the experience inside was seamless, simple, and quick. They also let me bring my dog in - so extra points for that accommodation! Not sure if Ill need their services again, but did appreciate my experience, but do think the outside need a a facelift.
I was unable to find products that they used to stock and was told that I should order it online. It feels as if the corporation is attempting to use low sales to justify closing stores. Employees cant sell what they dont have.
Very dark in the store. Id say at least 3/4 of the fluorescent lights are burned out. Was in there 3 months prior and it seems like the same lights werent replaced and theres more now that need replacing. Staff is great but customers need to see to walk around.
I came to this location in the beginning of March to get my fingerprints done for the census and also buy a few things. The manager(tall white old man) was so VERY rude!!! Will never go back to this location again!!!
Very disrespectful service, and I was very surprise the gentleman was so rude and showed some racism toward me, my mother and children and Ive been an entrepreneur for over 20 years doing business at Office Depo and decided to try Office Max, this was a mistake. I will continue to do business at Office Depo. Im ashamed this happened in my hometown, Philadelphia the home of brotherly love!

Absolutely horrible service I walked in with another co-worker and management assumed that we were there to steal. Immediately asked employee to check cameras to make sure theyre on and proceeded to follow me up and down every ailse i went down. Not to mention they didnt have what i wanted to begin with.
Waited almost 20 mins in a line because there was only one person that was running the printing station. There was a manager walking around but he didn’t seem to believe that the printing department needed help. I ended up going to Staples for the service.

The stores reputation/tenure precedes itself. The store is just as what its name describes. Office Depot. They have just about everything you would need to make your home office or work office fit your desired look! (Everything except interior design skills..lol) everytime I go in to get something they usually have what I am looking for. Disclosure: alot of their items are pricey/overpriced. Most times you can find the same exact item if you shop around or online. The only draw back with that is the time it consumes shopping around and of course the delivery time if ordered online. This store is more so for the impatient buyer. However if you are patient your best bet is to order online!

I purchased the SquareTrade extended warranty for my laptop. I DONT RECOMMEND IT. They took my money knowing I had a p.o. box, but would not ship to it. They wouldnt even put the label in the mail so I could get my own box to have it shipped to the store. I had to make 4 trips from way cross town. Luckily, I had both receipts. Dealing with SquareTrade was a bummer and still they did not replace battery which is part of the warranty after it loses 50 % capacity, but Jason was great. Others at the store are not as helpful. Cara the store manager also aims to please.

It is okay if you are buying paper or office supplies, but the staff is not nice at all. They treat you as if you are illiterate when it comes to computers and they are not helpful if you need to return something you bought there. They make it as if you caused the problem.
