Excellent selection, world class knowledge of meats and cheeses, friendly and helpful service. A strong component of what makes the Reading Terminal Market so great. I love tasting the cheeses they offer. A recent visit I received warm and insightful service in helping to make cheese selections for a 4 year olds birthday party. They were all a big hit but especially the Honey Bee cheese. Thanks again!

First and foremost, the products speak for themselves. The cheese and meats are top notch! And its so great that its a one-stop shop, I dont have to go elsewhere to get the crackers or the fruit spread or the olives or the honey or the nuts. The selection is large and varied, and the prices are great for what you get (this whole platter was $40). The people are phenomenal!! Not only are they knowledgeable, theyre also super patient and take the time to let me try two of every kind of anything I ask about before buying. Customer for life!

I ordered a gift basket for a friend in Philly, Im in Canada. They made sure my payment would work from here and called back to confirm. I asked for a couple of specific cheeses then left the rest to them, asking for an interesting assortment.The order was on time, they followed up with me and my friend loved it! Downtown Cheese is a Reading Terminal Market gem. Not only are their high quality products competitively priced, their customer service is exceptional, too. The staff take pride in being knowledgeable about their products. When I order special occasion cheese and charcuterie trays, they consistently exceed my expectations in terms of product quality, flavor pairings, colors, and composition. Highly recommend!

Wish I lived closer so I could stop by more often! The cheese, meats, and stuffed cherry peppers were the best we ever tasted! We cant wait to go back and get some more! Thank you so much to the owner, Jack, for your expertise and knowledge! What a gem this place is!

Rated 5 stars because when I called in to check if they carried a specific product, they pointed me to 2 different places in the market that could provide it. That type of consideration it what sets companies apart. I will be dropping in to show my support very soon.

Love this place! one of the girls helped us pick out 5 cheeses for a tray we were planning she was very kind and patient and had great recommendations and let us try each cheese she suggested. 😊

Im SO happy I stopped by Downtown Cheese during my visit to Philly over the weekend. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I had to control myself but they wouldve easily let me keep trying samples. Their selection of cheese and meats was speaking to my soul. Not to mention their prices are amazing! I got 5 cheeses and 3 meats, 1/4lb of each one and only paid $38! If I lived in Philly I would be going to Downtown Cheese multiple times a week FOR SURE. I wish they would open a location in Virginia Beach just so I can eat their products all the time! Instead Ill just daydream of my next trip to Philly

Both of the cheeses we bought were absolutely delicious. They have cheeses from all over the world (almost literally). The man at the counter was very friendly and will recommend cheeses for your taste. We will definitely be coming back.

Incredible selection, unique flavors, fresh cheeses. I highly recommend trying the goat cheese. The coconut/cinnamon goat cheese was flavorful, rich and creamy. Fair prices.

So many cheeses to choose from. I wasnt going to buy any but the handsome man Jake behind the counter offered me a free sample of the Moliterno al Tartufo and I fell in love.. with both Jake and the cheese

I dislike having to be a negative person because Im always positive but stay far away from this cheese spot. Rude workers and owner, and no parking whatsoever. Theres a Dibruno not far from here on 18th and Chestnut.
