Whether y I u want to do it yourself or drive through, Great Bear has you covered! It is busy most.of the time, so plan accordingly. It is not unusual to wait a half hour for the self serve bays when they are busy. But well worth it. Probably the biggest car wash I have ever seen.

This place is a little old school but its the perfect spot to go to in the northeast if you live in the area. Get a quick clean and leave, but make sure you get there early because it gets crowded fast.

Nicely done with nice staff for automatic wash. Self wash ok, kinda outdated machines. However works just as good. Water pressure good. Only wish you could pay with card instead of quarters. Auto wash takes cards, though. Go early, they get pretty busy when its nice out.

You can either clean your car your self or go have them do it for you . Nice spot they use good grade chemicals making your look presentable again they also vaccum the car and whip everything down .

Great car wash, prices are good and they do a good job detailing your car. My truck always come out of there car wash looking shinny and new. Its the only car wash I go to for my trucks detailing they also have self car wash which is great if you wanna do it yourself. And there early bird special is great.

If I could give this a 0 star I would. Do not use great bear car wash! I was just there with my car and had asked the gentlemen not to touch my side mirrors because they don’t close (have had issues with the mirrors). And here one of the guys slammed my mirror in when I specifically asked them not to. I have gone to this car wash for YEARS and while I was in the car wash the machine took off my side mirror. As I got out of the car wash the manager was very rude saying they aren’t responsible for any damages because they have a sign up. Wouldn’t answer any questions I had he just kept going on and on how he isn’t responsible. He was very rude and disrespectful to my mother and I. He wouldn’t let us know if the car wash company was a franchise or if there was a corporate number to call and complain. Please don’t go here because half of them don’t care about your car or if anything happens to it. They won’t listen to you or anything you tell them. Now I have a side mirror that is hanging off by a thread.

Pretty good for what it is. Reasonable prices to use vacuums and large waste receptacles. Also decent place if you want to wash your own vehicle. Power washers work well.

The first vacuum I put money in didnt work so thats $1.50 just gone. When you get a working vacuum it doesnt even last long enough to do your car. It cost me about five bucks to do my tiny car. Total rip off!! Other than the fact that you do it yourself its not worth it just pay to have it washed it will be cheaper!!!

Hassle free, well maintained, reliably equipped with coin machines, vacuums, cloth, tire shine, etc. Plus theres the drive thru if necessary..

Last year I gave these guys a bad rating due to the employees inability to communicate with each other. Being that said one year removed this place seems better now. I recommend this place because the cars get washed very well and they use a lot of water. This helps remove as much soap as possible. I am satisfied and they wash your rims, it is included with the basic wash and theres always someone on the other side of the tunnel drying your car. dont forget to tip the guys this is their livelihood.

Good neighborhood carwash

Salty I got the most expensive wash and they let my car go with brown spots all over it. Even tipped the dude $10.... Make matters worse, they watched me stand out there and hand strubtge spots away...

The car wash is great especially if you come on the sale days. The self wash is a rip off but it is convenient to have everything in one place and you can take your time to give your car a thorough cleaning inside and out. I ended up paying 15 dollars in quarters to vacuum wash and dry my car and I got all dirty and forgot to wash the rims on the passenger side. I still recommend the drive though car wash more.

I normally hand wash my vehicles but if I absolutely have to go to a car wash this is the one.

Went for my first time for the full service Papa Bear wash during lunch yesterday and was out of there in half an hour. Paid $20.51. The half off deal is only for exterior service, which was a little disappointing (its on the sign in small print), but I thought the service was well worth the money. The guys were very kind and friendly. They worked quickly and did a pretty thorough job. All the services that are listed on the sign was completed. Ive seen other people complain about the guys not cleaning out the nooks and crannies like cup holders and whatnot but the sign only says they clean the doorjambs which they did for me. I will definitely be returning.

Need to change the bushes for anothers more fines::: That brushes they have scratchs the cars!

Expensive but you get what you pay for. These guys are hands down the best in the area. Your vehicle will look like it came off the showroom floor. The only problem is that this place is so popular that the line sometimes comes out to the blvd.

Basic car wash services. Not as detailed as others or hand washed but gets the job done for a low starting cost for a basic wash with the option to add more services.

I use to go here all the time. It was fine. Last time I went, I got the full service, where they vacuum the inside... one of the employees took all the quarters I left in my change cup. I was a loyal customer, not anymore. Guess they’re that hard up for $$ they’ll turn on their customers they see every week.Shame. 😒😒😒

The worst customer service i ever experiences at a car wash, i stood in line for 20 min, when it was my turn to enter the person that asks you what type of wash did you need, and i said full service and he replied you going to have to wait 30 min do you want to wait 30 min and he was yelling at me. Now i understand that it was loud inside so when i answered him i spoke softly and he acted like he didn’t hear me and look at me with a question mark look, so at this i answered with a louder tone and he looked at me and said don’t yell at me so i said you are yelling at me. At this point he got frustrated and made over 5 cars reverse and he refused my business. That’s the rudest person i dealt with, what a shame, i remember when this place was owned by the original owners...now the service sucks, STAY AWAY

Owners helpful if a machine is broken or empty. Good price for self wash. Vacuums work good. Long line is when the weather is sunny. Expect to be there an hour.

Good place to wash your average car (~$ 7 ), but not for high level vehicles ( full-size SUVs, Trucks, or thing bigger). The reason is you are going to get frustrated with the hose tangling up and going to spend more money (>$12+). Also beware of people begging for money and nails

Self service side- The Soap is way too thick/foamy with almost no water in it. The Time limit runs out so fast youll end up spending the same amount as a full service car wash. I spent 8$ and my car was still dirty with dirt brush marks. The brushes suck and they dont clean well. They also scratch your car.
