RAS is, hands down, the best shop Ive been to in my entire automotive career. They are well-trained, meticulous, and professional. Chris takes the time to explain everything theyve done, what they recommend, and why. Every tech Ive spoken with has both by-the-book knowledge and experience-based knowledge. Ive seen people complaining about price. The fact of the matter is, you get what you pay for.As an example, I needed to upgrade the brakes on my Jeep to the RAM 1500 kit. As Im getting older, my willingness to do these things myself is dwindling, so I searched for a shop to do it for me. Without question or confusion, they got it installed perfectly. A lot of shops would shy away because they either want to use their own parts, or its too complicated for them, etc. The only call I received from them is youre all set!.Heres what really sold me on this place the first time around: this is the only shop Ive ever been to that applied caliper lube in every spot that youre supposed to do it. Most shops Ive seen just toss the pads in and call it a day, sometimes maybe grease the slide pins if youre lucky. RAS did it the correct way. The attention to detail was impressive.Im a former tech myself, so it takes a lot to get me to log into Google and do a review. You cannot go wrong with this place.

I was about to spend too much for a new starter for my car, and didnt have the equipment required to do it easily, so I brought it to Roxboro Auto Service. They ended up getting the part cheaper and faster than I could find. I had them do the oil change and had new tires delivered to the shop. Excellent communication and updates from Chris and the front desk. Really ideal auto shop service, and for the best price. Would definitely recommend them to anybody.

I highly recommend these folks to my local GM and Chevy drivers since I started doing business with them. Always down to earth honest advice. The go-to maintenance team for all the post office vehicles in the area, so you know they know what theyre doing. Never tries to sell you up or run you dry on anything. Not as cheap as a jiffy lube, but you get what you pay for.

Quick, thorough and fair. Explained what was repairs were and and they use a very clean interface to break down pricing and labor cost. Work is only done after you approve. One of the few shops Ive been to where you dont get the Ive been taken advantage of feeling. Highly recommend for auto repairs.

This place is in it for the money not the people. They charged a ridiculous $100 for a check engine diagnosis. Just for plugging in and running your ECU. Then wanted $600 plus for repairs. Took it to a REAL family auto shop and got the same problem fixed for less than half of what they wanted. Unless you got deep pockets and like to get rooked, dont go here. I mean they have a government contract with post office trucks. Need i say less?!
