DO NOT support this business!!People here are friendly, but they are dishonest and will try to scam you!I used their service for a simple engine oil change. The technician broke the oil pan while changing the engine oil. The technician Angelo and one of the owners (Rich) lied straight in my face that they hadnt changed the engine oil (although they already did) not to take responsibility.I was told that it will be an hour till they change the engine oil and I waited in their office ( Rich, one of the owners, was sitting across from me at the office, and I could see my car through the glass window from the office).After 1 hour (when the engine oil change was supposed to be done), Rich goes to talk to one of the technicians and comes into the office and asks me who changed my engine oil last time.He said that the engine oil pan is leaking and the previous auto shop must have broken my oil pan.He showed me the oil dripping from my car on their floor (the last time I changed my engine oil was more than 1.5 yrs ago, and my car had no leaking whatsoever - not even a single drop in my garage as well as at the parking lot I dropped my car at Christian Brothers).Rich and the technician claimed that the technician didnt touch anything and havent even started the engine oil change service.I know my car was being inspected by someone during the whole hour and I could see that the engine oil pan was polished as you can see in the picture.The oil started dripping only after they touched my car at Christian Brothers.I argued that my car has been there for an hour already and Rich said that there was a delay which was a lie.Rich offered me that they can still try to change the engine oil if I want to but if the leak continues, the oil pan has to be replaced. (Even though they had changed the oil already, they claimed that they didnt).I had no choice but to have the oil pan replaced as I couldnt drive around with the broken oil pan.They charged me $400 for fixing the oil pan.Later, I requested CCTV footage to confirm that no one changed the engine oil while my car was sitting there for an hour.Instead of providing CCTV footage, Jason replied to my email saying that he talked with Angelo and Rich. This time he confirmed that the technician had changed the engine oil actually while the car was sitting there and Rich must have not known it doesnt make any sense. (they just changed their version of the story as I asked for CCTV footage).He added that it is common to break an oil pan while changing engine oil but they didnt break it and it must have been from the previous shop (as I said, the last time I changed the oil was more than 1.5 yrs ago and no single oil dripping until Christain Brothers started changing my engine oil).I thought they would at least try to take some responsibility and issue me a refund, but they kept lying and no refund was issued.DO NOT use their service and help this business scam you.I shared this bad experience with one of our neighbors (we are new to this town). Neighbor told us that he was fooled with the full check-up service at Christian Brother in Pflugerville before, and he never went back ever since.If you have similar experiences, make sure to report to Better Business Breau and share reviews on Yelp and Google.

Unfortunately this was not a positive experience. I brought in my truck for a check engine light and idling issue. They diagnosed it, and offered the repair services quote along with an engine oil cleaning. Prior to performing the services they found engine sludge and recommended an Engine oil sludge cleaning which was more expensive along with everything else that was needed to fix the check engine light. Total of $3700 worth of repairs done for what I believed would fix the issue. Needless to say I got my truck back and zero improvement, same issue and check engine light still on. They told me to run it a week to see if it would reset itself because of the sludge that was in it. I did and still the same issues. Brought it back and they looked at it one more time and recommended I get a new engine for $10,000 and change and they would absorb $400 of the original repair bill. My two star rating is for the following.1. Prior to performing the $3700 in services, it would have been nice to know in advance that an new engine may be required. Instead of shelling out almost half of a new engine cost in unnecessary repairs, I could have used that towards the engine costs. They said they had hoped the repairs done would have fixed the original issue without having to go to drastic measures. I wish I was given the option so that I could have made an informed decision.2. $3700 worth of repairs and I see zero change in how my vehicle runs. I mean zero. Not even a 1% improvement. Even with the engine sludge removal and new wires and plugs to fix the misfires, I was hoping to see any improvement but I am still having the same issues and check engine light. I understand what sludge does to an engine, but I mean zero change. That is why I wish a hey, a new engine may be the way to go if you want to consider that before we spend half the engine cost on this and hope it works...3. When I brought my vehicle back for a 2nd diagnostic review, it sat in the parking lot for several days until I reached out to check the status. Apparently, Rich went on vacation and nobody from the shop bothered to contact me that my vehicle was done being diagnosed and I could have picked it up several days from when I contacted them. He said he was under the impression that someone from his team had contacted me. I mean no one thought to ask or inquire why a truck was in the parking lot and keys hanging in the office for several days.I simply cannot trust them to work on any of my vehicles based on these factors. I really wanted to find a go to mechanic shop for all my vehicles but based on this, I will have to find someplace else. Hope everyone else has a better experience than I did and make sure to ask for all options available for repairs before you agree to them.

Recently experienced AC break down, took it to CB, diagnosed quickly and provided same day fix. Danny and TJ have been very helpful along the entire process, also the pickup service is great for nearby residents.I would use CB for future card maintenance, it’s close than dealership and can get things done!

Friendly and helpful service.They have a shuttle, if you need to be somewhere.A possible loaner if you are really stuck.Only thing they need to work on is communication. They were due to pick me up and then I get a text saying I should call them in two days... ???Other than that, these guys are amazing!

Just extremely nice folks who were very accommodating to my needs.I went back three weeks later. I needed my air conditioning repaired. Their quote was $4000. I told them what I honestly thought. I found another shop that replaced my entire system and with labor the bill was 1200. 2800 seemed like a huge difference to me. I did not realize folks could be that deceiving with a straight face. Needless to say I will never forget my second experience with Christian Brothers. I wish them well and pray for them. With all that extra profit I am confident that they share the wealth with those less fortunate. Unfortunately however, I will share on my own in anonymity.

Hands down the nicest car guys I’ve ever talked to! I don’t know if it’s because I’m from out of state but I have never had an experience that even compares. I love their system, it makes it easy to see what you need, why you need it, as well as how much it will cost, then you simply approve it through your phone! Kind, honest, and helpful. Whenever I find myself in TX with some car trouble, this is where I’ll go. I’d recommend it ten times over.

They are so fast and sweet and accommodating. I like that I can call them and they are able to answer all of my questions. They also are not pushy on unnecessary things you do not need. I really like that about them and it makes me feel happy every time.

Ive gone a few different places since moving to Austin and theyre the best. Hands down. I didnt feel comfortable at a shop until finding them. The work is always great, but the customer service is what keeps me coming back. Im moving next month and Im sad that I cant pick this CB up and take them with me!

Today I took my vehicle to Christian brothers and had the best experience. They droppedMe off and picked me up, had my vehicle finished in a timely manner. While I was waiting for my car inspection, one of the employees turned back a customer since there was 2000 miles left before they needed to change the engine oil. I assumed ( based on my experiences before ) all services centers/ dealerships deceive customers but this was the other side of the coin. Huge respect to this place and kudos to the employee.

The employees are incredibly polite and go above and beyond to help out. I appreciate being about to schedule state inspections in advance, as well.

“Human error…happens all the time” was what I was told. They never showed accountability or called me after I invited them to do so to explain my concerns. I think they said “sorry” one time. So I can’t use them anymore since they never really took responsibility for an error that “happens all the time.”

Christian Brothers have always had high quality work as well as high quality staff. Well the Pflugerville location washed all that away for me today. I wanted to use my warranty and Rich refused to do the labor he even advised his technician / translator Angelo that they” put out a fire” by not having to do the work. Angelo response was that that was good because my mom and I were getting on his nerves anyway using the reference to the situation in which we advised himto stop slamming my lug nuts on the ground with his equipment. I was humiliated and to add insult to injury Angelo was the technician of choice to interpret things to me as though the lingo would be different as though the severity of the new diagnosis was not understood but whatever you do Angelo make sure we don’t honor that warranty so if that’s the attitude today I fear what will happen when it’s at the end date of the warranty. It’s not the diagnosis it was the way I was treated and then mocked with a lot of laughter

As usual the staff at Christian Brothers came through in my recent oil change appointment! I had an appointment for a set date and was called to see if I could move the appointment. Upon working with the staff I was able to come in on the following Monday. I was not really bothered and would wait as I trust the staff of the company. To make things better than I could imagine, I was given the oil change free of cost. This is exactly the kind of service that keeps me loyal to Christian Brothers, I would never even think about using another company. I always said I am only using Christian Brothers and nothing will change that, it is good to know they find new ways to earn my business. Christian Brothers Automotive is my familys go to when we need to get our registration renewed. I have to smile every time I go in, as there is a sign for the welcoming doodle dog who resides there. Ive only seen them once but I love the welcoming feeling everytime we go in.Masks are required to sit in the waiting area which is no problem, especially with how fast they are. Ive never been there more than 20 minutes.I will always recommend them to anyone based on the quick service and welcoming staff!

I had an issue with heat in my car. I called CBA after reading positive reviews. When I discussed my issue, CBA spoke at length about how they stand behind their work with a 36 month warranty. Long story short, after spending close to $800, my issue was not fixed. When I went back, CBA took their own time to get to my truck. I get that you are not getting paid for a rework. But you cannot justify taking 4 days to fix an issue that took 4-5 hours when I paid for the work. Moreover, I was charged a $65 diagnostic fee, and another $60 for parts/labor. This is to fix an issue that I paid $800 to fix the first time. And to make matters worse, CBA informs me they created a hairline crack on my dash when putting it back.I was not informed of additional charges for a rework when its covered by warranty. I provided feedback to CBA when they sent a survey. It’s been 3 weeks. No one has bothered to get back.I really wanted CBA to be my go to mechanic as they are close to me. My search for a good mechanic that can go beyond the basics of inspection, oil change, or fluid change continues.....

Great experience. They took the time to understand what my problem was. After the diagnostic was completed, they sent me a detailed report with photos to my cell and email. Also answered an explained all my questions. I would recommend anyone to CBA.

They were really helpful throughout the entire process. I had an issue with my car, gave them a call and within an hour my car was being looked at. Once they found the issue, they showed me the various means to go about fixing it as well as a time-frame that it would be ready. They even provided me updates to any changes in what was needed as well as the price for the updated process. Not to mention the fact they provide a shuttle service from the shop to take you home and back to pick up your vehicle. Would definitely recommend them.

It was a very clean atmosphere and everyone was friendly and respectful. Most importantly the oil change and tire rotation allowed me to confidently made the road trip I needed. I was also able to drive the whole trip (over 400 miles) on one tank of gas! The only thing I would want is a detailed invoice of services performed.

I want to say thank you to everyone who worked on my vehicle and made the process go smoothly. I was able to leave my keys in the car and have a representative from Christian Brothers pick it up from my home. I was notified when the car was picked up, when it made it to the shop, when it checked in, and even when they were on the way to drop it off to me. I paid my invoice online and I didn’t have to pay a ridiculous amount to resolve my car issue. The pricing was extremely reasonable. I also want to say a huge thank you to Rich! He communicated everything with me and explained things for my understanding. If I could give 6 stars I would. I will be using this center again for my mechanical needs.Thank you again for making the process convenient for me during quarantine.

My husband and I love coming to Christian Brothers! Their hospitality is unbelievable and all of the staff members are so kind. Im a nurse and one of my headlights went out unexpectedly. My car is a model that requires the entire front bumper to come off to access the light, but I was scheduled to work the next day. Christian Brothers put me in a rental car free of charge and changed out all of my lights! The experience was truly incredible.

Monday afternoon. Needed to have a state inspection done on my vehicle. Called ahead to see if location was busy, and was told there was no current wait, although it was a first come, first serve basis. Understandable. Drove about 10 minutes to the location after getting off the phone. Parked and went inside. Spoke with a kind gentleman who filled out my information, including phone number, because I was a first time visitor. He gave me a 20 - 25 minute estimate on time for inspection, and I immediately got a text saying my vehicle was being seen. My family and I walked to the nearby 7/11 to buy a snack and burn time. Nearly 20 minutes later on the dot, I received another text confirming my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Walked back to the office and paid for the service. The easiest process I couldve asked for. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the efficiency of Christian Brothers and will be back!

They are very competent, and willing the accommodate unusual requests (like installing customer provided components - dont provide warranties of components, of course, in this case).

I had 3 tire bolts break off when taking a spare off and Christian Brothers went over and beyond to make sure I understood everything that happened and they were able to squeeze me in when they were extremely busy. They were kind and caring and made sure they assisted me as well as offered me a ride to and from my home when my car was ready. Extremely fantastic customer service. Will definitely do business with them again.

My first visit and first impression is that I will be doing all of my vehicle service and repairs with this company. I think they have already demonstrated honesty and quality with their service. I was taking my vehicle to the Toyota dealership which was more expensive and horrible quality.

I love Christian Brothers. I bring both of our cars here. The photos they send of the problems they find are great because it shows theyre being honest and transparent. Theyre also very friendly. And if they cant fix a particular problem, they recommend the nearest place that can.

I came in this past Monday super last minute asking if i could get my inspection done. I was given a super reasonable wait time (about 2 hours which was totally fine with me, i came in an hour after opening and on a Monday). I was offered coffee while i waited and everyone was super nice and answered all of my questions (Im from NY and had never gotten an inspection in Texas).After only 45 minutes of waiting my car was done which was a fantastic surprise and the price was really great as well. Overall I had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend anyone to go to these guys.

This was actually my first time. I needed a car inspection, and my regular mechanic shop was closed because of a tornado threat. CB was so efficient. They were very thorough and hospitable. I will be going back again.

This has been my best auto experience so far and I wish that all auto shops conducted business in such an efficient and professional manner. I was presented with a detailed and itemized report on their findings which also included photos. They presented the information in a manner someone that is not mechanically inclined such as myself could understand. My car runs a LOT better and I will definitely not hesitate to bring my car back in the future for maintenance or repairs..definitely will be recommending to friends and family! Thank you!

Great service!! Call and talked to Andrew about my car not starting, he promptly set me up with a towing service and had my car picked up within an hour. He kept me informed of all the services being performed via text and phone calls. Got my car back a day earlier than expected. They informed me my car was ready and kindly offered me a ride to their garage, picked me up from my house and car has been running great ever since. Highly recommend!

I was new to the area and having a vehicle go down was a out of left field moment. Christian brothers took great care of me. They were able to get my vehicle in right away, assesed and an action plan within 24 hours. Then they had trouble actually finding the part but did not give up, gave frequent updates and I was up and running within 3 days. Dishonest and incompetent.Put the wrong lug nut on my car. Cost $100 to have another shop fix when it stripped the stud. CB says I should have brought it back to them to fix. (Except they dont touch my car again.)The work they needed to do would have cost me 3x their original quote. They fired the guy who gave me a false quote but wouldnt honor that quote. I had the dealer do the most expensive part of that work for a much cheaper price.They told me the vibration the car had after they worked on it was due to worn engine mounts which would cost $2000. The dealer had a much cheaper quote AND says the engine mounts are fine. We havent identified the cause of the vibration yet, so we still dont know what they did.

Everyone who works here is professional, informative, and does quality work. I’m always impressed with their level of customer service, and it really sets my mind at ease knowing I can go to them with any car problems I might have.

Took my Solara in few months ago for a check engine light, and also the car engine was acting funny on idle and on traffic stop. So long story short, Christian Brothers ‘fixed’ it and I was charged $400++ for the ‘failing’ part(s)and labor. Drove the car home (about 5 miles) that night without any issues. However, the next time I drove the car, after about 2 miles, the check engine light popped again with the same symptoms. Took it back, and this time they told me I would need to shell out another $1000++ for some other ‘failing’ parts and labor. Right there and then I doubted if they really could fix the car. That it’s either they’re just guessing and are not thoroughly diagnosing the issue or they’re just too dependent on whatever gadgets they’re using.So long story short again, I decided to withdraw the car from this shop and took it in to a smaller shop where the mechanic is the owner. He asked me to leave the car as his shop was packed. He took his time. Few days later, I got the car back and paid way less than the $400+ I initially paid Christian Brothers. The car has not had any issues since then.

Went in for annual inspection and was worried because they don’t offer appointments for this service (first come first served). I was pleased with the great customer service, quick turnaround and fair price. Thank you!

I appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of everyone. It was nice to be updated on the status of my car repair via texts and have a final report emailed. The shuttle service is great, door to door with no waiting. The office Goldendoodle is adorable!

Walking in, it is very inviting, everyone is kind and informative. They are FAST too!! I brought my car in twice and it was out within hours both times. Their updates are fantastic too. Andrew was very personable and cared to hear me out on my concerns and observations, comfort my anxiety, and give me advice.They repaired my car to inspection standards for me with no issues. Coincidentally, a new problem started the same day I got my car back from that service. They happily looked at it for me since the car started to overheat and die on me. They diagnosed the problem (which they didn’t cause, but still happily diagnosed for free), and it turned out my water pump broke and messed my engine up pretty bad. While I can’t afford the fix, and now need a new vehicle, I’m grateful they did that service for me. I also learned a lot, which I will take going forward with our new vehicle. We are not very well off, and when I got the news about my engine, Andrew was very comforting and helped me calm down. This situation was the worst news we could hear on top of many other struggles right now.I highly recommend them for their service, skill, and knowledge. I’ll be back for an oil change with my new vehicle, and hopefully nothing more than that for once!

Here right now getting my wrecked battery replaced. They are very clear about prices and procedure, the AC inside is nice, couches here are comfortable enough to catch eight hours, and the man up front offered me a soft drink for free. This place almost makes me want to have more car issues to just come back for the great service, but Im too broke for that.

I had brought in my Malibu because the power steering pump had a hole and was smoking because I never bothered filling it after just drove without it but then I brought it to them it was done super fast.....but later the part had failed I called and asked if there was anything they could do and they told me to bring it back they replaced the part free of charge. Great company all 5 of our vehicles only get serviced here

These guys are the friendliest, most professional people I have ever had to work with in regards to my car. They were efficient with updates and kept me informed about the status of my vehicle. I have taken my car here for the safety inspection twice and both times were good experiences. Because the day/time I wanted to take my car in was during peak hours, and there would be a wait, I was offered and given a ride home, and then picked up when my car was ready. Great service, and very helpful and friendly people both times.

I drive a Honda Accord 2013 V6 with 93K miles on it, and my check engine light was on and throwing a P0430 code. I took it to Christian Brothers - Pflugerville and testing indicated that the catalytic converter on the front left was the culprit, and they ended up replacing both that and the O2 sensor which was rusted to the cat. I also replaced spark plugs and had them do a fuel system service as well. I picked it up and have driven about 200 miles so far. My car is running a lot smoother than when I brought it in, and no more lights/codes. Christian Brothers in Pflugerville was very professional and Ill be using them again in the future!

I cannot begin to say how much I appreciate Jason and Andrew! They kept in touch with me with all aspects of my repair, and made me feel valued as their customer.
