My family has been loyal Culligan customers for decades. We requested repairs on our Culligan water softener that was only a couple years old. Repair man said they have been replacing a lot of these defective parts lately and proceeded to unscrew a small knob and replace it with a new one. Five minutes of work to replace a part that was defined as defective cost $180.00. We spoke to a Culligan rep who justified the cost by saying that the repair man should have never used the term defective. We are no longer Culligan customers.

Not up front about charges. I went to get a new softener the sales rep came out to my house to talk the system over and what the monthly rent charges and initial salt cost would be. Day of installation went well, but after completion I called the Culligan office to pay and they hit me with installation charges. Highly recommend asking for a full billing statement prior to ordering and installing a new softener.

After being a customer for 18 years we have a serious problem with their water softener. I have very little water pressure, unless I bypass the softener. Called Culligan and was told that they couldnt get to us for 9 days, which gives me 8 more days to find someone else. Then when they show up they can take it with them
