The service provided was awesome. The management and team were friendly, courteous and very professional.They took care of me as soon as I walked through the door.Austin made arrangements for my transportation home while the work was being completed on my truck.They completed the work in a timely and professional manner. Austin also made arrangements for me to have transportation back to the shop from my home when my truck was repaired and ready for pick up. I just can’t say enough about the professional way they run that shop. Thanks to all of the team . I would highly recommend their service to all my friends and relatives. Great job!!

The colleagues were very busy but removed the tire that needed to be repaired and put on the spare so they could work the actual repair into their work day. This was very good in that the tire lug nuts were on so tight I could not budge them with my wrench. Very nice people . They are friendly and do what they say, on time. Thank you!

Recently had a roadside emergency that required me to have my vehicle towed to Pep-Boys. This was after I contacted them and was informed they would be able to diagnose that afternoon. 24 hours later, no diagnosis and had to contact them for updates. I already suspected starter. They informed me that they were running diagnosis on relays and such to confirm. I followed up and they confirmed starter. $900 @ 3.3 hours. They were going to charge that even if took less time. No matter if only took 1.5 hours. You would think that is unethical. Told us it would be ready between 4-5pm. Showed up. Would not start. Same issue. They replaced ignition switch and still did same issue. Finally, told starter was bad, but paint issue on contact for ground cable caused to continue to not start. I believe this may have been issue all along & starter was not original cause of non start or breakdown. They reported starter was bad and other issue was not discovered until starter replaced. I thought the original delay in confirming problem was starter was to diagnose no other issue for starter problem. Seems a non starter with me. Pardon the starter pund. This is 3rd Pep-Boys in past year that has caused me not to have faith in Pep-Boys. My opinion and you must evaluate for yourself. Others may have better experience with this company.

Nice customer friendly. I was at another pepboys that was all booked up and they recommended this one on Davis hwy. I had them call the one on Davis and they said they would squeeze me in. I got there didnt have to wait long in and out. Car running smooth.

So, Friday afternoon on I-10 I hit something and blew my tire. I couldn’t make it off of I-10 and had to stop right before and off ramp. I called my insurance, couldn’t get a tow. Road Rangers were no help. From 70 miles away my mom was calling places trying to see if they by chance had my tire because they’re “special order” while I got it off and tried to see how bad the damage was. Couldn’t find anyone at all until PepBoys. They had one tire. Put in a service request for a tow through them. When we finally got a notice of someone coming it wasn’t going to be until 3 hours later.At that point I decided to walk the two miles to the shop. Out of respect for me the manager and tech there were willing to stay open until I could make it. After a few minutes of walking my mom called me back and said that they didn’t feel comfortable letting me walk that far or down those roads so the tech was going to come pick me up. Another man pulled over and ended up giving me a ride to the shop, but once the tire was on and ready to go, the tech loaded it in his car. Took me back to mine, and put the tire on.I am beyond grateful for those two men being so willing to help and also for the one car that stopped out of the hundreds that passed me. Would highly recommend this shop.

I came here bc I got a flat tie. Specifically asked for road hazard and it was flat within 24 hours. I had to buy another tire and told the person I need the warranty on the next set, I got another flat a few months later and now theyre refusing to repair it bc they said its not under warranty again. Dont buy here bc they either wont give you what youre asking for or are lying about their warranty.

I had a great experience with guy who I had talked to on the phone and the guy that I talk to you was fast friendly and courteous willing to do whatever it took to make the transaction happen I had no complaints everything moves along real smooth I was in and out of there heck thats probably been the best service Ive had in quite a few years I wish I knew the mans name he worked behind the sales desk up front if I did I would flash your tell everybody cuz he was a good person to work with I give him five stars

Store manager at Davis Highway store is fantastic. Helped me call for a tow and was very happy with him. Pep boys process to call for a tow was ridiculously difficult. It was like a Saturday Night Live skit. Person on other end of call was hard to understand, unfamiliar with Interstate highway system...kept asking for a street address when the vehicle broke down on the side of I 10.. if not for store manager’s help I’d have hung up and gone elsewhere. Love local business ....hate Pep boys 1 800 system. Local tow company was also very good and professional. I’ll use Pep Boys again as long as I don’t have to use your central phone process

Best Peoboys I have ever been to. The ladies there are amazing and so sweet. I got several quotes and they beat them all. The service was completed in a timely manner even though they were absolutely packed. I found my service shop I will always use now. Amazing work from the manager, desk staff, and shop employees. I watched them interact with all the customers in such a sincere manner. I seen them really go out of their way for one couple that was traveling. Just overall an amazing experience and amazing staff.

Had my SUV in PepBoys Davis Hwy for an oil change. The inspection process they do caught several issues on my vehicle. I didn’t know my brakes were shot and that my tires were dry rotted. So happy they do such a good job checking vehicles as I have my family in this vehicle every day. It takes a little longer for them to do the inspection But it’s well worth it. Thanks to Sarah and Sheryl for going over everything with me and answering all my questions (and there was a lot of them). I will definitely only being my vehicle back to this location.

Terrible service, the worst I’ve ever had of any kind. Was estimated a price for my brakes, said there was a special (i think the guys name was Roy). Dropped it off at 4pm and said they will have it ready in the morning. When i came back to pay, was $100 more than estimated. Told the cashier that i was earlier estimated something else. He said sorry but the most he can do was 10% off and that the deal was just a older one they dont do anymore. On top of this, the mechanic left his empty chip bag in my car. I also had to return the next day cause i started to hear a new clanking noise. Turns out they left a tool near my brakes. Most unprofessional work I’ve ever seen.

Went to pep boys to get my ac fixed the second time and it’s doing the same thing it did the first time. They say it’s the wiring but it was the wiring when i first gotten it fixed. I don’t want to pay a lot of money for something they should’ve fixed the first time. They said it’s a different problem With the wiring but to me they should’ve fixed it the first time they fixed my ac.I don’t have money to spend to keep fixing something they messed up.

I had my car towed in on a Sunday and had no expectation of getting the car back that day - the serpentine belt was smoking and I suspected a bad pulley.Monday I get a phone call that it was the ac pulley and it would require a new pulley and compressor. I agreed.Tuesday I find out not all the parts came in.Wednesday I find out the compressor came in but was dentedThursday I find out they only have one person that can work on AC and he was off one day during the week.Friday Im told that they recommend a new serpentine belt and that they should have it that day.Saturday I was called to be informed the car was ready.Communcation was sub par.Now to be fair I have taken the car in there before with acceptable results. And when I started the car it sounded like new. The AC IS cold.

Dropped my car off at this location about 10:30 am 09/19/20, I made it very clear with the two Very Blount and rude customer service asscoiates ( Two women not sure their names) That I needed my car to be at least seen for a price quote, and if they could not get to it today I would go somewhere that could help with no problem, However they told me that even though there was a long line ahead of me that I should be able to get in. Well I waited all day, Sat 9/19/20 No phone call, No answer after calling them. Sun 9/20/20 Still no phone call from pep boys, so I decided to try calling bk, This time the same woman very rudley tells me that they were not able to get my car in for inspection and as the matter of fact we can not get to your car untill Monday 9/21/20. I am furious at this point because this is my only source of transportation and im being treated as if Pep boys doesnt want/need my buisness. If I could afford another tow to a different company I would, but I cant. We (Pensacola) just experienced a tragic hurricane, so naturally tempers are high and people are stressed out, but if you are going to open your buisness, your employees should still excell in quality customer service and give customers accurate feedback or courteous call. I have four kids with no car not even a price quote. RIDICOULOUS!!

We noticed a nail in our tire and drove into Pep Boys on Davis Hwy at 7:50 PM, 10 minutes before closing. It would have been easy for the employees to say were closing but that didnt happen. David Boatman told us they would get us taken care of right away. Josh came out, pulled the car in and started the repair.It was after closing when Josh came in and said there were 2 nail punctures that he was going to fix for us. David was extremely helpful and not annoyed that he had to stay past closing. Josh came in and told us that we were good to go, he even checked the air pressure in the other tires, filling them to the correct psi.These two gentlemen did an exceptional job! A lot of businesses talk about providing customer service and about what it takes to WOW the customer. Both of these guys made me a Pep Boys customer for life! I spent 20 years in the retail automotive industry, the last 10 as the General Manager and this is how you take care of your customers. NO EXCUSES AND A CAN DO ATTITUDE!!! If I have an issue with my vehicle, they will handle it. I have had such great customer service here that I requested to have my car towed here even if it isnt the closest Pep Boys. The tow truck guy asked if it was because I had a bad experience with the closer store. No, I said they always give me such great service there. Why would I want to go anywhere else?Once again had a fantastic experience today with Sheryl and the crew. Thank you all for your hard work on changing out my babys shoes! Service is slow. Was told Id only have to wait an hour or so for my tire change, its been almost 4 hours at the point of writing this. Prices are ridiculously high. And they never fail to find another problem that needs to be fixed right away, and only for another $500

Got an old weekend truck. Got a bargain, but knew it needed work. Started doing some cosmetic things and went to Pep Boys Retail side to look at some things. Saw some signs posted and decided to inquire about a/c service. Took it back the next day with an appointment and Rodney and Misty treated me so nice. Some safety issues with daily driving [radiator, brakes, wheel lug assembly, bearings] were discovered and caused me some concern. Had the radiator put in, and then discussed the other issues with Paul, Service Manager, and James, Chief Master Mechanic. These guys are pros and know their stuff. Decided to leave it for all of that work and was treated honestly and fairly. Had never used this shop and it went way beyond any expectations I have ever had. Paul and James are solid, honest, people and their depth of knowledge about car and truck mechanics is amazing. Im there for the long haul! Great job....

Made an appointment just to wait.. not sure what’s that about but it’s freezing in here and they have a space heater that doesn’t work. The environment of the waiting area and store itself is disgusting 🤢.. I see several spiderwebs from here. Floors and walls are filthy. Looks like the place haven’t been swept or moped since they opened! Place is screaming for a DEEP CLEAN. Will not be returning 🤮

Worst store I ever visited. Lousy customer service. A very uppity store manager. Charged me $599.00 for a over heating problem. When I picked up the car I was told, well the problem was not fixed, but if you leave the car for a few more days we can get it done. The car had already been there a week. I paid for a diagnosis check. They claim that it showed nothing wrong. They proceeded to use the remove and replace method. They replaced 8 different items with no results. I payed for this search and destroy mission. USE THIS ORGANIZATION WITH GREAT PRECAUTIONS. THERE EXPERIMENTS COULD DESTROY YOUR CAR AS IT DID MINE.

I had a great experience at Pep Boys last week. My family had a blowout on the interstate in the August heat and my young kids were panicking in the backseat (and hungry). I called the first number that showed up on my phone and it was a Godsend! David and Nanette were wonderful, and David went the extra mile to get us situated as quickly as possible. Nick helped us at 5:45 pm on a Sunday evening (they close at 6 pm) when we blew a tire on I-10 on the way to Tallahassee. We were back on the road about 6:30 pm. Keep in mind, they were still assisting 2 other customers, one of which arrived near the same time as us and the other had been there since noon for an alternator. He suggested that I come back and purchase a set of 4 tires at the rate of Buy 2, Get 2! Thanks for your dedication, service, and hard work!

Online prices are for 5 quarts only so don’t let that deceive you. After I dropped my car off they called and said my cabin air filter was moldy and desperately needed to be replaced. Of course right. It wasn’t moldy but did have some dirt in it. So save your 20 dollars on that and buy it from advanced auto. The $20 off coupon they offer online for synthetic oil changes when presented they will say your rewards card gives you a better deal BUT on the bright side they will give you a complimentary vechile inspection they value at $4.50. 🙄 so all said and done for a synthetic oil change and cabin filter you’re looking at 110.58.

This is one of The Best auto service businesses that I have ever dealt with. They always put the customers needs first. This goes from the counter person to the service technician and to the manager. They actually look for ways to save you money (On Sale synthetic oil for the oil change for one) instead of padding your bill with services you dont need or wont need for a while. Called to request a battery and alternator test and explained what was going on. I was told (over the phone) that my alternator went out or had an intermittent issue and I needed to change. I asked if they could do it the next day and was told can you pick one up? We cant get one before Friday I understood that and went ahead and got one. We scheduled for 10 am the following day and was told that it would definitely be ready by 6.Nothing wrong yet...Now the issues come.I go in at 6 pm the following day (after I dropped off the night before due to an early start on work) and the car wasnt ready, they had just gotten around to it and replaced the alternator and found out it still wasnt charging. I explained that my appointment was at 10 that morning and didnt understand why it was just being done. Because we had other customers come in that were waiting on repairs HELLO?!?! Am I not a customer waiting either?! I scheduled an appointment for a reason and now I am out $280 for a false and completely wrong diagnosis! The manager did nothing for me and when I went to check out he didnt ask about the rewards program and I called him on it and asked him to honor the if I dont ask you about our pepboys rewards then you get a free coke sign. He laughed in my face and said get real dude youre so cheap, you just want a free ride I know thats not a big deal but just after having a huge stab to the wallet it just was my last straw.My car is still not charging the battery and I am out a total of roughly 475 dollars between the labor and part that I supplied.This place is a joke and Ive asked for a refund already and they wont even put the old alternator back on (that tests good).

I have been to this store before and had decent experiences until last time. I brought my car in for a transmission flush and squeaky belt check. They didnt flush my transmission, recommending I take it to a professional specialty mechanic, which is fine. No complaint there. They ran every test they could, but could not locate a squeaky belt. I paid for the belt inspection and went to start my car. The AC was on full blast when I started my vehicle, and when it turned over, I had a solid 10 seconds of loud squealing from my belt in the parking lot. Funny they couldnt find it, but I was able to get it to squeak after shelling out $20 for nothing. All in all, Id use the store to buy equipment, when convenient, but theyve lost a customer for any service on my vehicle.

I went to Pep Boys for an alignment. They tried to charge me $700 because they stated I needed new tire rods. They said the alignment could not be done without this. They then proceeded to tell me that I also needed a break flush. I knew I was being lied to. I went to Vennoys and they did the alignment for $69, no tire rods needed. I can promise that I will never come back here. Always take a second, maybe even a third opinion. Never come here.

Service was above and beyond! I went in for what I thought was a simple blowout from an accidental curb jump. Instead of just simply changing the tire, Josh checked extra items that he knew could be damaged from hitting a curb. Turned out my tire might be okay, but the rim was bent. David was very helpful in assisting with finding parts in the store. They both saved me a bunch of time, money and trouble. Its surprising when you get this type of personal service from these larger chain businesses. Thank you guys!

If you want to wait 3 hours for an oil change, go to this PepBoys. If you want to wait 2.5 hours for a tire replacement appointment go to this PepBoys. I ordered four Goodyear Advance Fuel Max tires 4 days before my appointment and when I got to my appointment they said they forgot to order them. I called and left a message for the manager at 1pm and was still waiting for a call back at 7:30pm when I decided I waited long enough so I called back and the man who answered said oh! Right! as if he forgot completely and never gave my message to the manager. I took a test drive with a mechanic so they could listen to some bad road noise, he heard it, sent me to the waiting room, and rotated my tires. Then without my knowledge or consent took a second test drive without me. I will never ever go here again. Service is bad, wait time is awful even with an appointment, and they are forgetful.

Pep boys really dropped the ball. Showed up at 7 pm for a flat repair, however service told me they actually close at 7 and not 8 per the website. Additionally, she said corporate dropped the ball on updating the new closing time. I’m certainly not a happy camper after driving a limp vehicle 25 minutes. As of today, I use to be a pep boys customer.

I showed up for my 8am appointment for oil change today. I had made the appointment online. When I arrived I was told I didnt have an appointment. She even showed me her appointment sheet that clearly has my name at 8am. However, because the appointment was made online I was told the fleet car appointments took precedence over me and she couldnt help me.

Very nice store and employees. I purchased new wipers and immediately they came out to install them while it was sprinkling. Took all of maybe 4 mins. I was in and out in 10 mins. Very happy with the customer service.

I am a mechanic from out of town and i needed an oil change, I paid $25 on my pick-up which is awesome! However they straight up lied to me about parts being bad on my front end...they even said I needed to replace the rubber bushings on my control arms...MY TRUCK DOESNT EVEN HAVE RUBBER BUSHINGS!!! Dont let them talk you into any extra repairs without a second opinion from a trust worthy source.

I just want to give Pep Boys on Davis Hwy a huge shout out!!! Yesterday was a pretty....hectic day. This is going to be a long post prepare yourself.My wife and I finally got our title transferred and received a tag for our car (HALLELUJAH!!). Well thanks to me, I ended up killing the battery in the car a few nights back because I left the interior light on by accident. We had a friend come jump us off and I noticed the battery looked pretty worn out, corrosion around the terminals and the battery just looked old. Finally after getting it started I was looking around for a place to get a new battery, we went to Pep Boys on Davis Hwy (across from Petsmart) which Ive never been to. Everyone inside was extremely helpful and amazing. Cedric (one of the mechanics) came out to us and made sure we really needed a new battery, because he didnt want to screw people out of their money if its not needed. He went to check the date and sure enough it was 5 years old, so we went ahead and decided to replace it. We ended up getting a new battery, unfortunately there were some problems. We noticed there were 4 mechanics looking under the hood and they looked all confused. Which in turn made us really nervous. After an 1 1/2 hours of waiting, come to find out the batter was placed backwards originally in the car and the mechanic ended up blowing a main fuse, while trying to install the new battery. Pep Boys knew there was a mistake and immediately fixed the problem. We finally got the keys back in our hands and we started to drive off, as soon as we started the engine the car was pretty weak (this is after the new battery was installed) nothing inside the car worked, car radio, dashlights, overhead lights power windows (weak rolling down) etc. Also the battery light was on, which I found really weird seeing as everything was perfect before bringing it in. So before we went to far down the road, we called them back and told them the problem. Nanette (awesome woman!!) told us to bring back the car and they would fix it. After another 2 hours of waiting, the general manager Rusty (awesome guy as well) came up to us and said the alternator was shot. We were devastated, as I knew alternators can run pretty high ($500-$1500 plus labor). Rusty told us he was going to keep the car til close and he would give us a ride home and to work. Nanette brought me out to the car to show me what was going on and the only thing in my mind is I dont have the money to replace this huge piece. I asked her what the damage was and she told me Pep Boys would be paying for the new alternator. They explained the main fuse popped not once but twice and it also shot the alternator and because a mechanic was under the hood during this time it was their fault. Ive never seen a company so determined like I saw at Pep Boys yesterday, not only do we have a new battery, new fuses, and a new alternator but the Manager of that store himself brought my wife home and took me to work, he told me we would have our car back before store close (they would deliver it to us) and if anything were to come up he would rent us a car until the problem was vanquished. I just want to let everyone know that even though problems came up, instead of pulling our leg and trying to milk us out of money, they knew something went wrong and they fixed everything!!! I will be returning to that location until our car passes away! Thank you so much Nanette, Rusty, Cedric and the mechanics that fixed our nightmare :D

Had to go pick up my own part and bring back to get my car fixed. A sensor went out and I was told it would take a hour to replace. But yet I had a appointment at 8am, left at 10:30 due to had to run some where, came back at 12, sat for another hour, then told to go pick up part and come back at 4. Came back at 4, sat for a hour before they even took my car back, and they are saying it will cost me $300. My appointment was at 8am and its 6pm and I had to go to a dealership to pickup my own part to bring back. Avoid coming here.

I went in to check on some stuff for my roommates Durango and the girl at the parts counter was very helpful even though we both had to put our heads together on where the part would be found in the computer. We eventually found the part and I was quickly on my way.
