After living in Houston for 4 years, I have finally found my auto shop. Ive been there a few times now and have had nothing but good experiences.The owner and the mechanic I dealt with are as honest as they come. Both just seemed like genuinely good people. Theyre not going to be the cheapest in town, but youre paying for quality work at this place. Paying for quality work is way cheaper than paying for the results of cheap/poor quality work. The services from Logos was professional, courteous and reasonable. They kept us informed of what was needed and let us know beforehand what costs might be. Theyre good guys to know if your vehicle needs work. Theyre very good folks to go to.

Called dealership when car wouldn’t start. They said to tow it there and they would diagnose for $73.50. After it got there, was told that was only for testing the starter and since nothing was wrong with it, it would now be $350 to diagnose (just diagnose not repair). Complete scam of a repair shop!

Spending $400 for a checking up, and returned with nothing changed, was not a good experience at all.Our car air conditioning suddenly stopped cooling. I was told that it would cost $150-200, when i dropped the car. I received a call during the middle of the day telling me that my $200 was spent, but they would need more work that would cost another $200 to do futher checking. I went ahead, since it was so hot in Houston summer. I later received another call around 2pm telling me that it would cost $2400 to fix the air. I do not have the amount of money, so i had to hold on it. At the end, i spent a little less of $400 all on their labor, with nothing changed! Thanks for nothing. My money was good, anyway, enjoy!

Have you ever taken your vehicle in to a shop for repair and questioned if theyre a business you can trust? That is not what I experienced at all.. After visiting I was amazed by their honestly and professionalism. I personally appreciated updates and whenever they ran into unexpected issues, rather than getting the job done and adding unexpected labor charges they reached out and asked permission to proceed breaking down what it would cost to proceed if I decided for them to continue with the work. The experience was amazing. Techs are competent and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.

The communication and knowledge of staff is great. I’ve been very impressed with Logos since I started taking my vehicles to them these past few months. Most shops don’t call unless they have found something extra to fix. Logos will call to let you know what they found, ask you questions about what you’re noticing, talk you through options once they’ve identified the cause, make sure you understand what needs to be done, and call back once they’ve completed the work. It’s little things like this that set them a apart from other. In my handful of times there I’ve dealt with Jim and Donald and I couldn’t be happier. Very competitive prices compared to other shops in the area and the work gets done with high quality.

Excellent customer service! They explained the parts and repairs in a way I could understand why it needed to be done. Very quick turn around on my vehicle. Ill be going here for all future repairs and service I need!

I came in for a check engine light which ended up having some cascading issues related to some manufacturers defects. The guys at logos were extremely patient and did not give up on the complex job that they ended up with. I had to bring it back a few times which was no fault of theirs, but every time they were motivated to get it done. The staff is friendly and entertained my many calls and visits. Happy to have a mechanic like this in town. Shout out to Donald for dealing with all my calls and questions.

Been going here for two years and they are the best! They have treated me fairly and have always explained everything wrong with my vehicle. They have always offered rides home and pick ups so I am not inconvenienced. They are my first choice if either something is wrong with my vehicle or I need any maintenance done.

I trusted them enough that they completely rebuilt my 69 Camaro pace car piece by piece. I do most of my own work on my vehicles, but on occasion, I need help when I dont have time or the correct tools. I took in my van for a well known issue for that engine - the intake manifold gasket was leaking coolant. They changed the gasket and seemed to do a 90% job, although they did not change the coolant (higher mile vehicle) and the oil was overfilled. I took the car back to them and they removed the extra oil.Much much later I had to replace the ignition module and discovered a missing fastener on the rear of the engine. Granted it was a *@#$% to install but but it was left off. A few other assorted things were not completely as it was, but they did much better than most places.I have also taken my 4 door in for a CV joint boot repair right before a trip on Thanksgiving when I could not do the repair, and they told me I might as well replace the CV joint. The one on there was fine, but I agreed as it was the same labor. They were cool and gave me the old parts to store in case I need them in the future, but I did not remember to specify certain parts to be used. I am unsure how long the parts they installed will work - might be first class maybe not. Im just not used to taking things in.My neighbor had a starter they installed go bad and they did the corrective work for free.They usually try to tell me my oil needs changing even though in one case it has about 800 miles on a change and other stuff that didnt need to be done, but thats pretty normal for a shop.

My wife and I found Logos 5 or so years ago when they were still Cornerstone. Same great team. We have been continuously satisfied with our experiences. They keep our cars running and have gone above and beyond for us many times. I consider them friends.

They are friendly and seems like good hearted staff. Only reason why they didnt get 5 stars is because they misdiagnosed 2 of my cars. I would use them again though.

I have been going to Cornerstone for over 10 years and they do an outstanding job. They are honest and do excellent work. The vast majority of the time, my car is fixed right the first time. They do not throw parts at a car attempting to solve the problem. The price might be higher than some places but it is worth it. Another aspect that I love about Cornerstone is that they have loaner cars. Normally, I work with Jim. He always goes over each item that is wrong with my car and lets me know if that item can wait until another visit. Also, Jim is very patient and takes the time to answer your questions and concerns in terms that a customer can understand. He does not talk down to you if you dont understand something. I love going to this place. I really wish that all businesses were run like this business.

Good work, worth the price. Free loaner car was the icing on the cake. Excellent customer care & respect given regardless of race or age! However, not always the most efficient at getting the right parts for the fix.

I went in to get a simple oil change done. The whole time I was there they talked down to me and was over explaining things they assumed I didnt know probably because I was a woman. Within 10 minutes of them working on my car they came back with a whole list of things that were wrong with my car.... its a miracle I even got there in one piece. One of the items they listed was that my right tail light was out. I knew I would be able to fix that on my own so I denied any other service other than the oil change. The second I left the parking lot my right blinker began spazing out, signaling that something was most likely wrong with my tail light (mind you, everything was perfectly fine with my car before I got there). Once I confirmed that the light was out I went to the auto part store, got the part, and took it home to replace it myself. Come to find out.... the bulb wasnt out. The mechanics had unplugged the cable to my tail light in hopes that Id return to their shop and pay for another service that I didnt need. After all of these issues and I am proud, yet dissappointed, to say that I will never be a customer of their business again. I guess an honest mechanic is hard to find these days.Also important to note: Ive never left a review for any buisness or product before... thats how upset I am with this experience.

This is the second time I went here. This time for an alignment. They provided a detailed spec sheet of the alignment before/after plus the target alignment for camber, caster, and toe. They were very reasonably priced and wanted me to be informed about the whole process.Don’t think twice about going here, you won’t be disappointed. I usually work on my own vehicle (such as replacing brake calipers/rotors) unless the work requires tools I don’t want to buy, and I fully trust them to do the job right without breaking my bank.They have your car’s best interest in mind.

Got my car, a 2001 Ford Focus back today. Had a loud sound whenever I would accelerate. They did a great job on it. They provided a shuttle service for me to get home while they worked on my car and to go pick up my car when they finished. Great price for the type of work they did. They even patched a tire that had a nail in it free of charge without me even knowing about a nail. Donald did a great job setting me up and Mark did great in taking the time to show and explain to me the work they did. I will definitely be going back in the future and recommend them to anyone else with car troubles.

These reviews are fake, this shop is not a good shop.Response to owner: my truck did not need diagnostics until your guys messed with it. It needed a simple rest of the steering angle sensor and they let me drive out with my truck braking on its every time I took a turn. If you dont have the right software to do the job dont do it. Yes, you didnt charge me for the sensor reset because your guys knew the y screwed something up. By the way dealership reset sensor in under 15 min with no problems.

Horrible isnt the word to describe this place. Please go elsewhere. They overcharge and misdiagnose even after you tell them whats wrong with the vehicle. Customer service is horrible once they get you in there. I honestly dont know how they are still in business. I guess because of people like me who have never been there before. I beg you take your service elsewhere. One star is way too much of a rating for this place. If I could stand outside with a sign to warn people I would. This place is truly a disgrace. Great place. Right away speaking to Donald you can tell this is a honest, trustworthy place. They definitely know what they are talking about and wont try to up-sell you. The complementary loaner cars are nice as well. Taking my car here saved me $2000 and likely bought me at least 15k more miles on my 10 year old toyota.UPDATE: 2 years later and still very pleased with this Company. They even have free high-speed wifi now! I recommend all my friends come here for their repair and maintenance needs.

Brought in an older car, and let them know we werent willing to spend too much on it, and asked what they could do about its issues. They honored the spirit of the request, and gave good advice throughout the process. In the end, we paid a little for some diagnostics, but there were several opportunities where a less ethical mechanic could have easily charged us for things that wound up being unnecessary, but didnt. Finally, a local mechanic I feel we can trust.

Only one star because the mechanic told me what was wrong with my truck so I could fix it. Thought they were good so I brought my wifes car to them for engine diagnostics.. Had it for 3 days when they said it would be done the same day. Come to find out they did nothing but take my 98 dollars. They said I had a bad exhaust leak coming down on the O2 so they could not diagnose the engine correctly...so I took it to a muffler shop and watched the man raise my car up and inspect my exhaust..no leaks what so ever. I guess cornerstone was stoned when diagnosing my wifes car and thought that the tail pipe at the rear of the car was the big exhaust leak..

Had squeal in motor pulleys. They called to tell price. which was fair for the work. Waited for us to get there at 6:30pm to get car, then showed parts broken and where everything fit. As a shade tree mechanic, I was impressed with how through they were in explaining problem to my non mechanical son. They checked rest of car and through in a air filter for free that they said it had to have.I give them two thumbs up and will go back. I brought in my 2007 Honda Ridgeline to get the timing belt package plus spark plug replacements. Its been about a month now and my car had been driving with no problems at all.I think nowadays mechanics have earned a bad name with so much dishonesty in old practices, but I promise you guys that you are getting a good deal here. This is a great, honest service. Donald and Jim are top notch with customer service, the price is fair, and these guys take pride in their work.I made sure to check that they were using OEM parts and they assured me that they would never use anything else. Thats quality.When I came to pick my car up, I noticed it made a strange sound when the engine was on. I brought it to their attention, said the car wasnt making this noise before I brought it in, and they said they believed me and would check it out. A day later they said one of the motor mounts was loose and they fixed it right up. There was no blame game, no finger pointing. Ok Pearland. These guys are excellent. My 2500 Ram diesel is important to my work. That being said I do preventative work on my truck all the time. I went in knowing my upper and lower ball joints were wearing out and assumed my brakes, steering stabilizer, tie rods, etc. Jim greeted me then Donald took over and went over every detail with me, even asked what brand of ball joints I wanted (MOPAR, Moog, etc) he then got under my truck, made recommendations and off it went. I estimated and budgeted 4K for all this work. Next day Donald called and said the brakes, stabilizer, rods were still good, but my wheel bearings were worn out. Before work began they wanted me to come see for myself. I declined knowing with over 120,000 hard miles of pulling he was right.Donald kept in constant communication. On Thursday he called when it was almost completed to inform me that part supplier sent over the wrong locking nut for hubs. I told him no big deal and he promised they were getting them overnighted from Dallas as none could be located locally.Friday showed up at noon as he promised and Ricky, and team were just getting back from test drive. They noticed that while the wheels were not out of alignment, my steering wheel was off center. (2 per process for Ram) Immediately they all worked together and did the adjustment right there in the driveway.All settled up 1.2k under budget, and in perfect condition. Better than when I purchased new.Any other chain, dealer store would have never called to tell me that something was Good and didn’t need replacing when I assumed by mileage and performance it was bad. Most would just keep padding the ticket. NOT THESE GUYS.Morale of this review. If you believe in taking care of you vehicle and want Integrity, Good Work, and good parts. Take your business here. Logos, just got a customer for life.

I have been taking my car here for over 8 years. Cornerstone treats each of their customers like they are a part of the family. Their prices are definitely fair for the quality of work you receive. I have never bee disappointed with their service. For example, I took my car in for an oil change and they informed me that my rack and pinion were leaking fluid (and apparently had been for quite some time). I had gotten my previous oil change at a Jiffy Lube in San Antonio when I was there on business. The staff at Jiffy Lube never informed me that it was leaking and just proceeded with their standard oil change. I definitely learned my lesson! Its examples like this that make Cornerstone Automotive Pearland the only place I take all my family members cars. You wont be disappointed--Their integrity and service are unmatched!

Prepare to get ripped off. I have the engine light on and send it to check. Five minutes test will cost you $93 and they said my thermostat is broken, then another $200 is gone with labor and cost to replace it. Only after a week, the engine light is ON AGAIN, I send it in, after 5 minutes check, they said this time is the O2 sensor and it is not the problem they fixed one week ago. Did they even identify the right cause at the beginning? The excuse they bring it up is IT IS A OLD CAR. Besides, their cost estimates is way much higher than their competitors. Avoid this vendor completely.

They got my fuel pump changed out in a jiffy. Im glad I choose Logos for car work and repair needs.

Had a major overhaul of a car with 200k on it and they seemed fair and were able to get the work done as required and the car has run well for 6 months so far. Price was high though reasonable for the quantity of work completed.

Brought my Maxima in and Mark shot straight with me about its condition. It was pretty bad. I knew it would be. (A bad Craigslist deal that should have never happened.)These guys could have easily convinced me to dump some money into the car but instead I got a strong (written) recommendation not to put a single dime more, as the repairs needed to properly fix it would exceed the cars value. Ill be selling it to CarMax tomorrow and focus my dollars on a reliable vehicle instead. These guys have made a customer for life with their honest answers.

ONE STAR means very bad.I went there because the panel light showed CHECK VSC. They told me it is going to take hours to do diagnosis and just to take a look is going to cost $89. I left and went to a garage next door. They opened the hood and in five minutes, problem fixed.

Received mediocre communication. Paid for a diagnosis that was LESS complete than what I already knew. Reinstalled a wheel hub spacer incorrectly and it fell out.
