This review is for Verizon in general and not just this store. I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years. I pay 180.00 a month and have never had a late payment. I have an unlimited data plan and should be able to get the Disney plus bundle for free. My account showed that I have the bundle and that it is active. It also gives me a reference number. I have wasted over 4 hours between Verizon tech support both on the phone and chatting. Two hours was spent on the phone with a Verizon and Disney rep at the same time and the Verizon rep hung up on the conversation. I have cancelled and resubscribed multiple times using both the Verizon app and website and I still do not get the Disney bundle service. I am writing the review after spending a couple hours of chatting with a Verizon rep on their website only to be transferred to Verizon technical support and then never hearing anything back. I even asked the Verizon rep for a email address to contact Verizon with and they told me there was none. I have never needed Verizon tech support before but if this is any indication of how they do business I will be going to another carrier. If you are looking for a cellphone carrier with good customer support I would look elsewhere.

Appts, masks, social distance were the norm by all. As at risk folks, it was much appreciated. Staff knowledgeable & helpful, explaining best option for us. No hard sell we did not want either. Easy to get appts via website as well.

Never had an issue with Verizon before. Walk in and get told a 30 min wait 2 people in front of me. No worries ill wait 25 minutes in im the next in line. 2 of the employees walk out of the store stating theyll be back and leave the store for a smoke break while there are customers inside waiting. I get wanting a break but the lack of professionalism was unreal. 1) wait until your duties are complete and no other customers are waiting. 2) I dont want the smell of fresh smoke as im trying to talk to you. Very disappointed in Verizon today.

I came to this location on June 26, 2021 about 1 & 1/2 hours prior to close to upgrade a line on my account to a new phone for my sons birthday the next day. The customer service representative that was assigned to me was unable to load the iPhone 11 that I had picked out onto my account. Well instead of calling tech support for help she informed me it would probably be best to order the phone online with the option to pick up and come back and get it the next day. Which was not what I was trying to do because I live an hour away anyways. This was because she didnt think they could assist her with the problem before the store was due to close. Well, I am now due to pick up the phone today but I just think you should know that your employees made this a really hard process with a 2nd trip that could have been avoided because I still had to call tech support to make the phone load onto my account and the representative today said she just had to call and I could have went home with a phone on Saturday. Your customer services skills here are not the best at all.

I went there on 12/18 and was advised it was about a two hour wait. They took my information and advised they would text when it was my turn and I would have 5 minutes to get there or lose my spot. So I got the text while I was shopping nearby and put my stuff down instead of checking out as not to lose my turn. After I returned I still waited over an hour inside the store before anyone offered assistance. Nothing worse than “hurry up to wait.” Anyway, I wanted to get a 12 pro max, and an Apple Watch which they advised they had in stock. They then told me I would get a better deal online and I should just order it for curbside pickup, so I left to follow the instructions to order online. I ordered the phone and got an email the next day that the order was ready for pick up and they would hold the items for 4 days. I was out of town the day I got the text (12/19) and advised I would be there Monday since they were closed Sunday (12/20) Then when I went to the store today I was informed my order had actually been cancelled on 12/20 because the store had actually sold my phone to another customer. And it took about an hour on the phone with Verizon to even get any explanation. I have had Verizon for about two years. After this experience, I contacted T-Mobile. They are overnighting me the phone Verizon had promised me and when I get it I will port my number out. T-Mobile customer service is much better then Verizon, not to mention my monthly bill with T-Mobile dropped about 80$ then it was Verizon.Long story short, if you want good customer service don’t use this store or even this company.

They pulled a bait and switch on me. Stated the phone was $850. Then just folded the paperwork up and stuffed it in the bag after Ive already transferred to the new phone. Then I get it out later that night and its $1000. They refused to give me a credit and said they could swap the phone after Ive already spent hours setting it up. They changed my plan and now the bill is almost double. I have been with Verizon for over 20 years and this is not how I would expect to be treated.

They used to carry accessories for all phones now they only carry for new phones. Not everyone can afford a $2,000.00doller new phone every time you come out with one. Been with them for over 10 years seriously thinking of moving on

Horrible horrible store. The manager was so rude and should never have a job working with humans. I never received a txt saying i was next walkin appointment, so i had to wait another hour. I finanlly received an additional phone on my account - it was not enetered into the system correctly so ive been on the phone with activation and customer service all day today.

What awful customer service. “Store manager” was argumentative with a customer on the sidewalk and offers no help when he was instructed by 800 support to come to a corporate store. The customer was obviously frustrated and needed help. No offer other than to call 800 support again. Just a absolutely no help to a customer. They are using COVID to offer poor service. A 3000 sq foot showroom and six people inside. Employees were talking about the customer and I spoke up and said he already had done what the manager asked him to do and then I get “sir you need to have your mask over your nose and mouth”. I am literally 25’ from the nearest person. I have had it with the service and attitude towards their customers. I am taking my 10 lines elsewhere.

Phone was affected by the Google update on 3/22/21. Went to the Verizon store on 23rd st who refused to look at it and gave me a number to call to update it. Called that number and the technician said you need to get a replacement phone even after I tried to explain that it was a system problem and I just needed him to force an update. Today my phone is working so I assume an update happened last night.

Stopped my the store to cancel my service on a line we no longer use. Got up to the door and a large man asked me what I was picking up. I told him nothing, I needed to cancel service. He told me there is a number for that. I told him I have tried that and I get put on hold hour hours. He handed me a piece of paper with a bunch of number and said no this is a different number. I was on hold with this different number for over an hour before someone finally picked up and cancelled my service.Just because you work on commission does not mean you can turn away business that doesn’t seem like it will make you money. I have 2 other lines with at&t that maybe if you had not turned me away you could have talked me into switching over in stead of canceling.I will now never be a Verizon again because of the customer service experience I had today!

Disappointed. Have had verizon for years and have always used this store. They have always had awesome folks. However, today when I went to upgrade my phone, a gentleman stopped me and simply asked why are you here? After I told him, he said Id have to wait awhile and could not view any phones. Apparently I had to be watched while I shopped for a phone that I was going to spend a pretty penny on. Was not helpful at all and made us feel like we were wasting his time.Went right over to AT&T, staff were friendly, fast and allowed me to shop while I waited. Made the switch due to the poor customer service both in store and over the phone. Final straw was just the in person experience.

Went to Verizon on 23rd Street at 3:30 today. The man that works there was cleaning the windows outside. He said sorry we are closed. Online it says they dont close until 5:00 pm...called verizon and they said the stores close at 5:00 pm. This was my only day off and needed Verizons help today for a phone replacement. Dont advertise that you close at 5:00 pm and then close at 3:30.

This review is not for this store, but for the company Verizon. Please make sure you get everything in writing (on paper), or like me, you may be sorry. I purchased four devices, that were heavily discounted on the Verizon website. These discounts were never applied to my account. Im paying full price, PLUS for all. And am locked in with this highway robbery for another 20 months it seems. I so wish I could have a do-over and stay on prepaid with Straight Talk. Just be careful and dont trust their adds or sales.

The Verizon Response Team, the store General Manager, and Verizon corporate have been going above and beyond the call of duty. Not only are they working around the clock to restore service after the devastation of Hurricane Michael, brought in a truck load of water for the community, bought hot meals for whoever needed them, and provided medical supplies to a nearby nursing home, they still had the time to provide excellent and personal service to their customers. I have been grateful for the opportunity to provide security to these wonderful people in this disaster and now call many of the friend.

Gerald set us up quickly and efficiently, but didnt actually enroll us in auto-pay per our request to save $10/line monthly. this also caused first bill to go past due and late fee charged. granted, customer service removed fee, but you only get one of those for convenience and error was on the sales rep. i guess the lesson is trust, but verify.

Let me just say this was the best experience Ive ever had with Verizon! Zane helped my mom and I change our plan and was very professional and helpful! Im going to make sure everyone I know goes to him and this store! I just simply cant write a glowing enough review for this wonderful employee! First, its a corporate Verizon store, not an authorized dealer - thats worth 5 stars on its own. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and courteous. The sign-in system works well and it updates you by text messages as you progress in the virtual line. There is some seating available while you wait or you can browse the store for phone and accessories. The accessories are limited for Android phones, but plentiful for Apple products.

Gentleman with the English accent I believe, needs a bit more customer service. My mom and I came in for an upgrade and we were chatting about her current service provider. Not once did he try to persuade her to leave her current provider. He just said I cant tell you to leave Sprint, thats really up to you. WHAT??!!! Not something you should be saying to customers. Somethings just dont need to be said aloud. His job is to try to explain how Verizon is so much better than their competitors. Not that Verizons towers are better. Yes, alright that true but geez, could you possibly be less cocky and a bit more consumer friendly? Not impressed, although this wont deter me from Verizon. Efficiently 5, Customer Service 1.

These people are crooks. Never go into this store. Go online or call Verizon on the phone. They will put stuff on your bill that you did not authorize. You can always get a better deal by calling Verizon. Don’t be a fool. Wanted to charge me $600 for a phone I got for $266 from Verizon. Put all sorts of things on my bill did not order took me hours to get it cleaned up. Tried to charge me a $35 re-stocking fee because I would not pay the $600 for the phone that did not even leave the counter. If you like you’re hard earned money stay away from theses crooks. I think Verizon is a good company. But you have to deal with then directly.

Expect to wait a long while and dont get upset when you see the employee who checks you in at the door standing around doing nothing while youre sitting waiting. Seems like if you are busy & 4 to 5 people are sitting Waiting For assistance it would be all hands on deck to take care of customers at least one would think customer care would be a priority. Im not sure what the guy makes checking you in but I would love to have his job and get paid to do nothing.

Staff do nothing but refer you to 611 for all questions. Kiosk charged me with double payment. My first phone with them still connected to my account even though I no longer own it??!! I feel I pay way tooooooo much for the service I receive. Cant wait till my devices are paid off. Will not use Verizon service again and would not recommend them to anyone.

I had terrible experience there. Paid 1250 for new I phone X and they wouldnt even transfer my contacts from my old I phone that I bought from them as well. 5 people working there and no one would help with a 1250 purchase. I got a refund and went to Best Buy . They were very helpful. They transferred contacts and activated my new phone at NO charge . CAN YOU HEAR THAT?

Horrible customer service. Dont EVER use Verizon. I never will again. Absolutely. Their app rarely works. Your sessions will end and then it wont let you log back in. A lot of times that I login to use the app it is unable to connect and I get a lot of error messages. Calling in to customer service means waiting on hold forever, and then they charge you fees for every time you call. I bought a device in June and the sales person put the wrong plan on it. Verizon will not change it, or adjust the service. Now Im stuck paying for something I do not want. Ridiculous! Not to mention being the only phone carrier to leave its customers without service after the hurricane. We had to wait two months for our service to be restored.

We were treated like a number not a person. Ive been with Verizon for years and I wasnt called by name and neither was my mom. We sat in the back of store and the people who came in the front was waited on right away and their name was called. Treated like we didnt exist. Very dissatisfied. But during the hurricane Michael everyone was so helpful, but those employees were from Georgia and Alabama. Home team let us down big time 👀🤔👀

Shoddy network design by Verizon in Panama City Beach. Very slow data speeds are the norm. When the tourists are in town, forget trying to do anything that requires data. I normally have to disable LTE and run on 3G mode to get any data. There are also major dead zones at the main intersections for Pier Park and Breakfast Point. The governor is right. I should switch to another carrier.

Ok. For cell service Verizon is tops. I was actually here to cancel all our service because we cant afford $194.00 per month cell bills. Three stars because even though I was canceling service they were very helpful.Ok. Update. After trying T-Mobile (two weeks) and AT&T (a few months) we went back to Verizon. We encountered too many service issues like missed calls, dead lines, no service zones which never occured with Verizon. They were able to sign us up at a reasonable rate. Not anymore that what we were paying at the other two places, and better service. I learned my lesson.

Only one person at a time in store, rep behind glad, gloves, mask and cannot touch your phone to fix, cannot drop off phone for turn in, was no help fixing my brand new phone that did not work. Gave me a number to call that was no longer in service. Wasted my time and made me start to regret switching to Verizon. Called store at beach and guess what they helped me. Will never set foot on this store again.

Went to the location on 23rd street to get help with my phone to try & recover photos from the hurricane & the guy had no clue he said if I didnt back them up then they couldnt be retrieved and that Verizon didnt put them in a cloud without me signing up for it. I explained that when their gridlock went completely down that I was notified when I was at a hotspot for Verizon that my phone had been backed up by Verizon to a cloud.It popped up while he had my phone saying that I had over 200 pictures in the Samsung cloud and he said that there was no such thing & then told me to call their toll free number for help.

It was horrible! They had so many people buying phones or products and all the people that wanted to just buy something, like I just needed a screen protector so I was supposed to wait behind all those people that were taking forever to decide. They need a cashier or someone to just help people that would be in and out . Its terrible business to make everyone wait 30 to 45 minutes when they only need to pick something up. Several people left and were not helped as I did too!! Bad business the way its set up!!!

I walked into this store and lost 80 dollars just due to the customer service rep messing with my account. They did eventually fix it but it took an hour out of my day. Just go to Best Buy and save your money and time. The second star is because they fixed the mistake.
