I went in for an alignment on my Honda Prelude and they inspected my suspension and told me my ball joints were bad and needed replaced. They treated my car with the upmost care and were honest and upfront. Although I could not afford what they quoted me to do that job, I did get them replaced by my son. They also offered him a job. I keep begging him to go back and get a job through them. I hope he does. I will definitely be back.

Save your money. Stay away. I worked for these guys I know that week pulling 50 plus hours put my hands on everything that came through that shot. And then the guy pays me for 2 hours worth of work and goes in after hiring me and changes my pay rate so it pleases him. Besides he wants to treat black people as if we are 2nd class citizens. Beware this is a shop full of carrots that will call the police on you just because you are of color.

Chuck the service manager is the MAN!!! Historically ive had negative interactions with mechanics to the point that I have lost some trust on their willingness to not price-gouge or lie to their customers for the sake of profit. I can honestly say that Mr. Chuck restored a lot of that trust today. Hes a genuine guy that goes above and beyond to take care of his customers. Not to mention that the quality of service is second to none. Mr. Chuck took the time to explain all the work in detail, he broke down the pricing, parts and labor. He assured me that he was giving me a fair and reasonable price, i checked around with other centers, and he did not disappoint…he was honest! This shop has gained a new loyal customer, and i will definitely refer all friends and family in the area to this shop. Thank you Mr. Chuck the service manager--you are the man!

Had taken our van in about a 3 months ago for 2 new tires. They said at that time we needed front brakes. Fast forward to 6 Mar - took it in to get the brakes done and have them check on why the power sliding door was closing on its own. Got a call back in about 3 hours. Door was now working - they had reset the switch and found some pine straw that may had been affecting it. Then stated they pulled the wheels and the brakes were fine. They had made a mistake before somehow and stated there was nothing wrong with the brakes and they did not need to be replaced. Very honest - I did not have the time to examine them myself beforehand - just took their word that they needed replacing. Nice of them to come forward and tell me the brakes were actually okay.

Got 4tires and was treated very well by the staff. They got me on my way quickly will definitely go back and recommend to friends and family

Very dissatisfied with this company! Last year went in for an oil change and tire change, before going on an 1100 mile trip to Maryland! Mind you I own a 2019 Nissan pathfinder, should not have any issues being if was only a yr old! Started on my trip and made it to GA and my car was smoking underneath! Could not tell that where it was coming from, after every few hrs of traveling would stop and would still smoke and I even had the vehicle looked at when I got to md and they said it def wasnt the tires or breaks or anything ! That there may be a small leak... with that said I travel back home to wewa fl and the same thing happened! I had the girl Molly take a look at my vehicle, beings she a personal acquaintance, and she found that when my oil was changed that my dip stick was not replaced correctly! With that being said oil was coming up out of that area and making my 2019 smoke! Refused to use them again until today I talked to Molly about possibly replacing the other 2 tires, she told me to stop in first thing so I did. When I approached the counter the blonde haired man at the counter did not greet me at all basically just looked at me like what did I want, and I told him I needed an oil change couldnt even get the part our about tires and he basically snapped and said we definitely cant get you first thing, didnt give me a time frame or anything, so I took my buisness to Grease Pro!

The mechanics that came in and out of the lobby always had a smile, and professional demeanor. They finished my car ahead of the estimated time, and were less expensive than other places in town! I had a screw in my tire so I went to go get it patched come to find out I had 5 holes. at first the price was supposed to be $75 for the one hole they waited till they were done to tell me it’ll be $126 when I could of gotten a new tire.

Goodyear employee at front desk spent time helping me to get my tire fixed so I could leave that day and go back to Louisiana I would trust them with any service Im 67 years old and don’t trust too many people But they are very trustworthy!!!!! 👍😊

I worked here and I wouldn’t suggest it for anybody you will get over worked and they take money from there workers let alone don’t make sure they are paid on time I was supposed to be paid on wendsday and here it is Monday and I still have yet to be paid

Yeah, i wont EVER go back there. Paid a ton to get our cars fixed. They didnt do the job right, took it back, still didnt fix it, had to take it elsewhere and paid half the price to get it fixed. Beware of this place. Theyre crooked.

They made a mistake but they made it right. The service manager is honest and tries hard to provide a positive experience. Pleased with him.The fact they made an error is outshined by the service manager who went above and beyond to make things right. Brought my company car in a few weeks ago for an oil change and tire rotation. The owner Chuck Alford took great care of me and didnt push any unneeded services on me and was able to get my car done in less than 45 minutes. What was really cool was they cleaned up my wheels and put tire shine on them!!! Never had something like that done before, just cool.

Friendly service, fast, and helpful. Didnt try to upsell me at all when I told them I just wanted the most affordable tires I could get, and didnt try to push BS fixes on me. Informed me of issues they found, and didnt give me a hard time when I said Id fix them myself. Super friendly guys here, definitely recommend them!

I have been doing business with Alfords for a number of years now and have always been extremely satisfied with the service I have received. They are all so very friendly, efficient, honest, and capable. Everyone from the service desk personnel, the mechanics, and the service techs, they are all so very patient in explaining exactly what is wrong, how to fix it, and then give a quote that is very reasonable. I know I have been fortunate to find a very rare commodity in Alfords....... an honest, reliable, efficient, place to have my car serviced and repaired. They always seem to go above and beyond what is called for and I appreciate them all the more for it. Chuck and Chris have went above and beyond for me and my babies. We have been kept safe by Alford Tires for over 3 years. Knowing I cant afford a new set of tires and 1 of mine was leaking, Chris assisted me with getting financed for a new set. They have checked my air pressure and filled my low tires numerous times for free. I send all of my family and friends to see Chris for quotes and repairs. They are a great group of employees and go beyond being just nice. Ive trusted them for over 3 years and will continue to trust them for as long as I can drive. Im thankful there are still good people doing mechanical work in Panama City. If you get by there, tell Chris that Bevis sent you. I promise him and Chuck will do whatever it takes to help you as best they can.

Second time coming here....Best service station for all of your needs within the Tyndall AFB area. They Balanced my tires properly after I had them done wrong by different shop in the local area, thus preventing me from having to buy brand new tires like I thought I would have to. This is twice now where they have saved me $$ by being diligent and honest. What you might pay for in a few bucks extra for their services will actually be cheaper in the longer run since they are not scamming you and actually doing the work they say.

My wife and I used to use Alford Tire and then they changed management. It sucked. But now they have switched again and for the better! They are better than ever!! Chris is the man!! Gave me a ride home so they could repair my car. He explained all the repairs I detail and for someone who is mechanically challenged, I understood everything he said!! He went to great lengths to make sure I understood not only the charges but what was done to my vehicle and how it affected the safety of operating my vehicle. I had a defective tire that was patched by another tire place who didnt even mention anything about the bad tire or why my tire light kept coming on the dash!! We will not only continue to use them but would advise anyone to go there!!

I have had some of the best repair experience lately at Alford Tires. I have a high milage vehicle that recently has had to have some major work done. I was told I had to take it to the dealer last month from 1 auto service place but I decided to have it towed from there to Alford. They are very honest and was able to fix it without taking it to the dealer with saved me lots of money. It was a costly repair but I cant imagine the fee from the dealer. They gave me a list of the standard maintance that needed to be done but was not pushy in stating it needs to be done now like other places have done. They prioritize the list so I could plan accordingly. So far, same day repairs, even on my big repair. They are all very polite and professional and I have been 100% satisfied with my service. They now have ALL my vehicle repair business.

I dont have personal experience having service done here however they have repaired two tires for me and refused to take any money. They were very kind and helpful and were quick to get me back on the road.

Excellant Goodyear Store. 80% rebuilt from Hurricane Michael, but open for business. Customer waiting area nice and clean.

Competent team, back on the air after Michael turned the area into a Biblical wasteland. I buy my tires there with the road hazard warranty and the few times Ive had one go bad, they honored the warranty without any hint of a squawk. They were kind enough to change the donut spare for me, which won my heart.

Long wait, but thats normal, but they do have triple ply toilet paper in the bathroom

I went to Alford tire center today to have a tire patched. My experience was amazing! I had tried 2 Walmart locations and 3 pep boy locations in which I was either given a very short and rude response on wait times or I waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged my presence. Not only did Chris take amazingly good care of my vehicle, he was extremely courteous and informative on my tire concern. I was in and out within 20 minutes. If you are in or around the area check them out they are amazing!!! Thank you Alford tire center team.

Ive used this shop for several years last two times the same person did his sell speech about the thousand of dollars worth of work my vehicle needed. Both times it was bogus .For an average female without a mechanical aptitude you are nothing but a walking source for money. I only use them for tires but even that I will be going elsewhere. They also attempted to keep my 33 Mickey Thompson tire I requested back as it has plenty of tread left just wanted the set installed to match. When I looked to see they didnt place it back in my truck bed and asked for it back it was conveniently placed in the shop as the other tires with no tread left were disposed of. Dont waste your money or time.

As of 8-10-2019 they are open and doing dream work again. But like most of the city, they are also still repairing their rebuild from hurricane Michael 10-10-2018. So dont let the building fool you. They are open

I needed tires for my Dodge 3500. I was cautious like I am with any business in town but I was surprised at the honesty and integrity I received. They asked if I wanted nitrogen (instead of air in my tires) and a free alignment check. I said no to both and they said ok. No high pressure sales tactics, no surprises on the final bill. I asked for a total package price (that I liked) and that is what I paid when they were done. Great services at a great price. I recommend this business to anyone.

For years my husband and his family have done business with Alford Tires. Recently, my car had a problem and we towed it to Alford Tires. We were told free estimate. They called and told us what was wrong, my husband told them not to fix it as it cost more to fix it than the car is worth. My husband and a friend went to get the car (to tow it home) and then was told that will be $49.99. After discussing it with the gentleman my husband spoke to the manager about it. We were told FREE estimate, Im in here all the time with oil changes on 2 vehicles, tires, all of our business comes here. The charge was for a diagnostic check which he should have been given the option to say yes or no to. Instead, we got a charge we were not expecting. That may not sound like much, but money is tight nowadays. I dont appreciate being charged when we were told FREE ESTIMATE. No longer do they have our business. We will be going elsewhere. We have since learned that their prices are a bit much also. All I ask is please be honest. Free is free, a charge is when you call and ask before doing something that will cost money. I brought my vehicle in to replace the brakes and rotors. I bought the upgraded brake and rotor package. When I got it home I noticed a weird smell and the internet says it takes a little while to break in the new brakes. After I have been driving short trips in town I went a hwy road and got up to 65 mph. The front end was shaking bad. I took it in to get the tires balanced and the tire shop noticed the caliper was hanging up and the boot that covered the bolt was torn. I took it back to Alfords and they denied any wrong doing and blamed it on a brake bleed that I refused and the torn boot was melted even though it was clearly torn. Alfords indicated that the caliper pushed back in normal and they dont otherwise check to see if the brakes are working properly besides a short road test. They also denied testing the brake fluid to see if it was bad. I ended up having to replace the front calipers. I was a regular customer of Alfords and will no longer take my vehicle back to them. They called back hours later and apologized for the interaction and offered half price on labor for the calipers but I had already replaced them. I no longer trust them to stand behind there work or trust them to return my vehicle back in a save condition. I told them manager that I was going to post this comment and he said go ahead I dont care it wont affect me any.

Had brakes and rotors install at alfords tires on Tyndall parkway just needed their labor already had Wagner pads ceramic and Bosch rotors I wasnt present for the services my wife had to go because I work six days a week problems from the start front breaks squeaked from the jump and I mean they squeaked bad gave them about a week but they still squeaked bad bad so I left a bad review on here about a day or two later after review Chris call he asked about the the brakes I told him that the front brakes are squeaking so he offered to take a look once again I work so my wife went I called Chris after they were finish he told me they regressed everything he said that’s why he hates when customers bring in their on parts cuz it’s a problem he said that the brake pads probably crystallize......????? So I took it to Nissan first off the rear parking brakes wasn’t adjusted and alfords applied too muck grease to front brake pads that got in pads pores rear brake hard wear wasn’t greased at all price Alford charged me was about $250.00 for labor the parts I got brand new from orileys was $325.00 now I gotta pay Nissan to straighten out alfords messed they did I call alfords back told him what Nissan inspection found he said a 2014 Nissan Altima doesn’t have tear parking brakes that have to be adjusted man it’s nissan it’s there thing they know....if he had any sense he could of just google and see yes there is rear parking brake on 2014 Nissan Altima that has to be adjusted when u install new rear rotors so altogether I have spent about $1000.00 on this brake job.... never ever mess with Alford they can’t do a simple brake job ....I got pics of rear brake parking brake that has to be adjusted and pads that had to be replaced ohhh yea Chris asked me too take down bad review...thinking about taking them to small claims court I feel like they put my family at risked I mean there brakes....

This place is off the chain I brought my 36 inch rims in to mount new tires on they did a great job and it only took them 45 minutes they ride like dem clouds. Errybody bring them rims to Alford they gone hook you up

The service manager Chris is incapable, incompetent. His chief mechanic is also a crook. Their is a thief in his shop so dont leave anything of value in your car. If you want anything more than tire service... go somewhere else for sure.
