It’s almost impossible to reach the service center. We just moved to PCB and this location experience was by far the worst. Called to confirm they offer shuttle services and the reps I spoke to at their remote call center said yes the shuttle services are available and no special arrangements need to be made. Went to the location to drop the car off and the guy basically said “We don’t have a shuttle service but I can see if I can get our system to work and get you a Lyft.” He finally got one for me and then as I was leaving he said “I cannot guarantee one back but maybe one of your coworkers can drop you back here on their lunch break.” I called the service desk guy at least three to four times for the status after he said it will be ready in the next hour. I asked him to see if he can send a shuttle and he seemed hesitant and unhappy about it. The shuttle finally came 50 mins after the call. I got there and they were finish up getting the car ready. My total was 21.95 for tire rotation since VW includes three oil changes with a new vehicle which he tried to tell me it’s only two that they cover. Got the keys and as I am leaving he states “Just for your info we cannot do this the next time with the shuttle. I made 21.95 off of you and the shuttle cost me $45. Now if you are spending a $1000 on repair I can justify that cost.” I tried to mention that I had called prior to check on the shuttle service and the call center folks said it’s available (I called three different times to confirm and they all stated the same) but he failed to acknowledge that fact. Moral of the story is that if you are not spending $1000 at this location for services - you are not going to get a good customer service experience”

The VOLKSWAGEN staff are friendly & respectful. Then listen attentively to needs & attended to them promptly. The area is clean & accommodating. Repairs were completed in timely manner. My Jetta was returned in repaired condition. I am very pleased with service.

Mark went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He’s friendly and professional as is the rest of the Volkswagen staff. We will definitely be using them in the future.

Do not come here came yesterday a hour before close to trade in my car and he was not happy he kept pushing me off and all this and that then wanna tell me my trade in has no value when the dodge dealership told me I had a 2000$ trade in value. He was not happy when I told him the small scratch on my front bumper could be fixed by a touch up paint marker rather then spend a couple hundred on it lol. Not for sure how a scratch can make a car have no value

Typical. Went for a recall repair. 2 hours turned to 5 hours. We drove a bit to get there so waiting the extra 3 hours was bothersome to say the least.

I had a great sales experience at Panama City VW. Need service? Forget it. Just try to get someone in service to answer the phone or return your call. You need to go through some call center and wait several weeks for an appointment. Need to leave your vehicle after hours? Sure, just leave your new car out along highway 98 outside the locked gate. Who would do that? Can’t stop in for a 2-minute scan if the check engine light is on because, “I don’t t have time for you.” Last vehicle I will buy there for this very reason. There’s no excuse for poor customer service. Ever.

Great customer service. My salesman Richard Dugger was super. What prevented the 5 star was the detail department. They removed the sticky paper mess on the windshield but did not clean the whole windowshield. Nor did they clean the auto itself good. The smell inside was strong, like armour all. But with that being said. The overall service was great.

Everyone was courteous and friendly. The waiting area is set up for socially distancing. There is a TV and water available while you wait.

Nothing says “We want your business” like a gate across the entrance. It’s Sunday; a good day for browsing the local car inventory. None of the other dealers shut you out, so I went there instead. VW of PC is the reason why I won’t buy another VW, and they continue to disappoint.

I didnt realize I never left a review.. Last year, I brought my wifes car in for an alignment. Whoever pulled her car out of the parking spot damaged both passenger wheels and rear tire sidewall. The wheels were not damaged before. (We take great care of our vehicles.) The manager said there isnt a curb big enough to do that kind of damage on the lot. I took him out the the spot I left it and showed him the tire marks on the 6 inch tall sharp cornered curb and he still denied it. He was rude, denied responsibility and a couple of days later only offered $125 to have it repaired. I went to Volkswagen of America and they werent able to do much either, so I left a complaint with them. I still have pictures and email traffic from this incident. I already replaced all 4 tires at the time of the incident (you are not supposed to drive on sidewall damage but thankfully I made it all the way home where I noticed all of this damage and brought it back) The wheels are still in the same condition and an eyesore. I turn everyone I can away from this place. Please feel free to contact me about this incident. The manager that never accepted responsibility for the incident had a bad attitude as well. Hopefully hes fired by now.

I made appointment online because they would transfer me and hang up. I just needed a balance and rotation Wich clearly stated $58. They said it would take them 3 hours and would probably not even get to it today. On top of that they wanted charge $138. And not honor the posted price. I ended up going down the street to a small tire shop and had it done in 15 min and they let me inspect the brakes and bearings. For $40.Thanks vw PC for wasting my timeA previous reviewer posted pictures of the service department entrance. If you value the finish on your rims do not drive in there. You can see the marks on the curbs there have probably damaged hundreds of rims including mine.its a very narrow lane with tall sharp curbs.its crazy that they havent fixed it

Even though my appointment was not saved in the system they were able to still fix my car the same day. I appreciated that considering I only have the one vehicle.

DONT DO IT! Purchasing a car was easy here. But I would not do it again. The problem comes after you purchase. The service center is a whole different experience. They are really not there to help you, it seems like a hassle the employees are there. They have 2 service technicans and that seems to be the excuse. If you call for an appointment your call is anserwed by a call center in Texas that has no idea how this location operates. I was told you were not allowed to stay while your car is beinging serviced and a car service or loaner would be given. None of this was correct. You can wait on the car and there is not a car service or loaners. Another time I was told I could do a drop in with my car which is also not correct. When I arrived I was told I could leave my car for 1-2 weeks and they would look at it. Also told maybe I shouldnt have bought a Volkswagen. If you are with corporate Group 1 Automotive (owners of the dealership) feel free to contact me. If you are the service manager or service advisor dont bother this goes way above you.

We recently purchased a new VW from our salesman Chad of VW Panama City. Our interaction with him was fantastic, he was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. However, our dealings with the service manager were just the opposite. When I called the dealer in the late afternoon he informed me that they closed at 6:00 p.m. but told us to come in anyway, then when we actually went into the car buying process he got upset that we were there after hours, yet he was the one who told us to come in in the first place. Im sure as the sales manager he understands how long it takes to purchase a car so it shouldnt have been a surprise we ended up finishing after hours. He was incredibly rude and made us feel bad about the price we wanted to pay for our new vehicle. To be honest we almost walked out. He did apologize but it was too little to late in my eyes. I work in the retail / customer service sector and I would never treat my customers this way. It is not acceptable. If you purchase a car from this location I recommend using Chad as he was wonderful to deal with. The service manager, not so!

The reason for the one star is I purchased my vehicle on the 18th of March todays date is April the 7th. I have been to purchase my tag for the vehicle three times and all they could tell me is we havent received anything on your vehicle. Called the dealership and talked to a lady two weeks after to see whats going on she tells me that she hasnt been able to get to the paperwork. True indeed I live in another state but it still doesnt take 3 weeks to get a tag for any vehicle. Overall bad experience with these guys. Buyers be Aware!!!!

We had a difficult problem with my wife’s beloved 20 year old Super Beetle (with almost 200,000 miles on it) - while driving and without warning the engine stalled . This began a couple of months ago and happened very infrequently - you could drive it a week and it would not do it but the next day it could happen twice. The folks at Panama City VW analyzed and fixed the problem with a new fuel pump and fuel pump control module. We are very happy with the job they did. Bob Anders

The check in was easy, appointment was made over the phone. They were prompt to take my vehicle back. I was there right around 2 hours for an oil change, tire rotation and inspection of the vehicle. The waiting room was perfect and comfortable. Wifi was there to accomplish some work. Was kept informed throughout the whole process. At the end they were straight forward and they do not try and push service on you, which was greatly appreciated!! That is a rare quality for a dealership to have! I look forward to owning my VW for a bit and will GLADLY use them again. Only thing I could recommend is a courtesy car, but I know that is expensive and a hassle in itself, but had to give some criticism somewhere! Thanks guys and gals of VW.

Michelle and Mark are exception hosts during my emergency pit stop this morning. VW of Panama City was able to fit me in to their otherwise full schedule, and allowed me to leave with full confidence of the work of their team despite what the auto parts store told me.VW of Panama City is now my designated hitter for VW service.

Staff was rude, and refused to check the part I asked to check. Tried to get me to agree to $2,000 to fix the problem before they even looked at my car. Refused to check anything related to the warranty and recalls of the vehicle like I requested. Told me my car was leaking, showed me a puddle of a green, slime substance. Which I asked what it was and where it was being leaked from, they dropped the subject. Their inspection of the car turned up no leak matching that substance. When it came time for me to sign the inspection paperwork I asked why the paper said they checked parts that they told me they did not check. Did not receive an answer as to why. Next time I need to go to VW I will just make the drive to fort Walden.In response to the managers comment, the $2,000 was quoted before the “leak” was discovered and before the car had been checked out. I was told that I needed tire work done at each of the tires by the women running your intake station. Once it was looked at though that was not the problem. I fixed the problem your mechanic said through another mechanic shop. It still has some of the warning lights on, due to what I am told is a warranty issue. I will take it to a different dealership to check that, again. I will save my self trouble in the future and no longer buy a VW.

Very friendly, had my parts ready to go. Since I ordered on line and paid with a card the parts were ready. When I told the parts guy I was here to pick up exhaust studs, he remembered my name without looking at anything, reached under the counter and handed me the bag. The quickest easiest transition in years. They even had the parts ordered early Friday afternoon by Saturday morning. On the way out the sales staff was even very friendly as well. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
