This Rent a center is the best around town. I have purchased multiple items through them and their customer service is great! Staff is friendly and always eager to help. Id like to just say, that finding RAC-Palmdale February of last year 2020 was the best thing ever! 5+ stars! I never knew that a place of business like this even existed! The staff has always been friendly with me, Jacob the sales Manager was the first employee to ever helped me, and hes always been awesome! Professional and very knowledgeable in electronics. Oscar the Store Manager, such a nice professional guy as well. And Viviano, hes helped me a few times when Jacob or Oscar werent around, and Viviano is a great guy professional too. The delivery drivers/crew have always delivered my items in a caring and professional manner. And professional installation on all the items Ive gotten from RAC-Palmdale. Ive purchased a brand new gaming laptop, brand new DeWalt 6 piece Tool Set, Brand new Ashley Mt Dana Ultra Premium Euro Top Queen mattress with the brand new bed set and brand new metal frame. Brand new LG washer and dryer set. I purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 phone from them and a brand new PlayStation 4 Pro; and my latest item is a brand new Frigidaire freezer to keep in my garage to stock up on meats and frozen food and ice cream. Ive purchased all these items from RAC-Palmdale all brand new by simply making the payments every week. And I have always finalized the purchased by the end of the 3-6 month Same as Cash Price. That way Ill save a lot of money instead of paying for the interest and costing 2-5 times more than what the item is worth. Im sure all the negative reviews on here have been by people that didnt pay off their item before their same as cash price expired, so they had to pay more money than what the item is worth. But the agreement/contract specifically states that and the employees make sure to tell you from the beginning. Nobody is lying to you nor trying to deceive you. But some people cant afford to pay off their items before the same as cash expires, so they continue to pay until they reach their balance to Zero, because thats what works for them. At the end of the day, everybody needs to understand RAC-Palmdale and all RACs in general, they are a business like all businesses. They need to make money too. We all do. Whats great about RAC, is that for me, instead of paying an item full price upfront at other stores, here at RAC I can make affordable payments weekly. Heres an example, instead of paying $800-$1,000 upfront for an item, Ill make my affordable weekly payments, And once my balance on my item is low like lets just say between $200-$300, and Im nearing close to the end of my 3-6 month Same as Cash Price, I go to the RAC store, and I pay off my remaining balance on my item. And I officially own my item now. Its freaking awesome! People that talk nonsense and bad stuff about RAC, are unfortunately people that didnt understand how the process worked, or they did understood and they just didnt care. Dont blame the RAC employees for you not being able to pay off your item during the same as cash price and now youre stuck with the interest LOL. You got nobody to blame but yourself real talk! Sorry for such a long post, but I just wanted to clear all the misunderstandings and misconceptions on RAC. I highly recommend for you to buy from them! Check them out you wont regret it! Customer service is so bad I recently purchased a dryer & washer from this Rent A Center in Palmdale & about a week ago it decided to break down, yes I do have insurance on these 2 I’ve been trying to get these fixed by calling them for about a week now but they just keep throwing lies at me telling me they will come by & fix it still nothing ! I called in today talked to Jacob & the store manager Oscar, I had told them it been too long & I still can’t wash my clothes! we talked for a few minutes and boom hangs up my call I 100% regret buying these washer/dryer !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS RENT-A-CENTERGet my washer & dryer fixed ASAP!

How do you stay in business when you dont even pick up your phone in the middle of a weekday afternoon?

Mr.Edwin helped me out & he had very nice customer service skills. He was patient he gave me options & before I left I had a couch set with just alittle of nothing down. Thank You Rent-A-Center, now thats a good employee.

If I could put no stars I would have!...whatever you do dont trust this place specially the manager Oscar!..dont trust their 6 month no interest its a lie in the end theyll say you still owe double the original amount, if your a manager and cannot come to an agreement with a customer and tell them to call your corporate then at least have the respect to give the correct number ....what do you have to hide?

These people dont know that theyre doing!! They were leaving sorry we missed you notes on my door.... I never ordered anything from there... The second time they made that mistake I called and told them I work night shift and you guys keep knocking on my door.... Havent you guys realized yet you have the wrong house!!!! I guess they dont call or verify with their customers the right place or address.... Instead of apologizing the guy was rude.... I hope I never have to go there for electronics..... Customer service at its finest!!!! NOT!!!! The people that work there bring this place down

A couple of the 5 star reviewers work there right now. Not going to name names. Edwin. Rude, condescending, and they will add a $6 bi weekly charge to your rental without even telling you. I planned on giving them upwards to $300 a month but please dont do business here. Go to Aarons or just save and wait.

Bought a tv from them. Had a huge hole in the box, worker said thats how they checked if it worked. He seemed very trustworthy the whole hour or so me and my girlfriend were there so i just believed him. Barely got it connected and the damn thing looks shattered from the inside of the screen. Wont be coming back after i get my money back. Waste of time.

Very disappointed with the customer service received here from new employees with lack of training. Especially the store manager Oscar. He was very rude and argumentative. Lacks customer service skills severely. Even after being a long term customer, I felt very disrespected and belittled. I will no longer invest money on this place and their items. I felt scammed. They lie to you and do not follow thru on their agreements.

The customer service is awful, they are not only unprofessional but rude and VERY disrespectful staff and mangment team they didnt have appliances needed had to wait to receive from another location they also were supposed to repair my bed fram that they broke setting it up and took almost 3 weeks to return it and tore the material on the bed frame and never replaced it or even bothered to take anything off the price and even tried to hind it this place is awful and I regret doing business with this location and company
