Great experience!! We came to American Freight and Appliance ready to purchase a washer, dryer, fridge and dishwasher for our new home and saved so much money that we were able to buy a new stove too. Angelica helped us and gave us some good tips about buying each appliance and what to look for. She was perfect, not overbearing but happy and helpful. I really appreciated the experience considering we were shopping on a budget and making big purchases can be stressful. Huge thank you and we definitely recommend.

My first visit to this location was a little disappointing the furniture selection was sub par. I was able to find a replacement fridge. The drive did have damage towards the bottom but it did make the price lower than I expected so that made me vary happy. The was a young man that was very helpful overall. When we discovered that it did t have a manual. The young man wast very helpful in the refused bit his manager overheard us talking and said I find one online and she printed it up for me :)

The place is a great for buying inexpensive, good quality appliances, mattresses, and furniture. My family and I have shopped here many times and have been more than happy with our purchases. Bought a refrigerator to move in my house on 01/08. After a month I noticed food goes bad FAST in THIS fridge. I decided Ill wait and make sure that Im not crazy. Sure enough, anything you put on this refrigerator will go bad within a few days. I have 4 small children and I dont have time for all of that.I plan to call today to see what can be done because I have NEVER seen food go so bad so fast. Seems like I wasted money on the fridge and now food that I cant keep over a few days.Ill respond with an update after I call them.

American Freight was great. Bought a couch and am enjoying every bit of its comfort. Would recommend Sylvia for anyone looking to make future purchases she was extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. Her customer service was excellent. Good customer service and good prices

I was sold a laundry center. They do not have a delivery driver, we had to pick it up as soon as we get it home it is not working now they are not picking it up and we take it back within 48 hrs If we want our money back. I had left a good review however I feel obligated to report this bussiness with the Bureau of Household goods and services and ask you to please avoid this place. We paid a hard earned $1000.00 for something that does not work. AVOID THIS PLACE !!!

Update: responded to by owner never had an owner try to debate who I spoke with during my experience before. I cant speak to what department people should be in only who I interacted with during my visit. I will not be giving business to such an unprofessional place. I encourage any people that read this review to do the same. Ive lowered my initial stars from two to one.Bought a fridge here a couple weeks ago, this chick Sylvia was working and kept going in and out of the back looking for stuff while I was in a hurry and was complaining at an employee in front of my wife and I. Poor management skills on her end dude with the sun glasses that helped us get it loaded on was cool and helpful unfortunately the fridge has some problems with the ice maker now Im gonna have to go to the trouble of returning it. Hope I dont run into that manager she seemed very rude.

Came in to purchase a couch and potentially a washer. Girl working name Sylvia was very rude and extremely unhelpful. Wouldnt help me find pricing also was very dismissive and told us to just buy and return if we didnt like it. Im 56 years old and cant lift these kind of things to just bring them back. Another associate that was working in another area was helpful heavy gentleman in the back helped us find and load up a couch and even helped us inspect it to make sure it was good to go. Overall I wouldnt return thanks to the woman that we met first.

Went in here looking for a refrigerator as our refrigerator is now malfunctioning. Angelica was super awesome! My feet were actually tired from going to different stores such as Lowes Home Depot and Best Buy. And all of those other associates were so unexperienced or the company just didnt have what we were looking for. I am glad I walked into this store yesterday as I now have a refrigerator and I love it!

Great prices on appliances! Delivery arrived on the correct date, at the exact time promised. No waiting around.I actually had to return one item I had purchased as it was the wrong model and it was hassle free to do so.If you need appliances, do yourself a favor and check them out. You can also order on-line and pick up in store. Also a super easy process.Only drawback: ♿ parking was a good distance away from the store entrance.

I had a wonderful experience with Ronnie the warehouse employee that took care of my refrigerator and did all the work by lifting it on the truck, applying soft padding, helping with securing the refrigerator and making sure I had all the supplies needed to install in my home. I had a great experience! My washer and dryer combo went out Christmas day after failed repair attempts. I went the very next day and purchased a new set of lovely GE washer and dryer set. so far so good. I think the sales guy was named Gene. he was excellent help. I was able to get my washer and dryer financed at a good rate. took it home that day the guy loaded the washer and dryer in the snow safely . I will be back soon for a matress. Management is obviously on top of there game here at the Palmdale location

Went to buy a couch. Cash in hand ! The sales rep told me about 80% are not in stock and you cant buy the floor display. So I asked if I could put order in an order for the couches I really liked .. sales person No because we dont know when well get it in.. me ok so non are for sale. Sales person points out 3. And says we got these in stock. FML whats the point in have 20 couches on display if the store can only sell 3 ugly ones .. wow.🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🙄

When I went to this store only about a month ago it had changed and it was even more lame than it was before. I found at least one really good thing that I liked about the store and now that is gone. They use to sell deep discounted clothes and belts. Their belts was my favorite. They had a great selection of really good quality discounted belts. But when I went back to find the belts, they had completely removed all clothing and belt selections from their store. I was very disappointed, because that was the one advantage they had over their nearby competitor it was the belts and now I got to find another place to get my good belts.Then there is that spiteful store clerk that was there a while back, she looked like a tom-boy (the best way to describe her) and one day I asked her about exorcise bikes and I didnt feel sure about the answer she gave me, so I went and asked someone else and because of this lackof trust in what she told me, foolishly she held it against me, now every time she serves me she intentionally gives me bad and spiteful service. Onetime when she was working on the registered she overcharged me, then pretended that it was a mistake. People, right? So, like I said this store is lame.

I remember when this was a Walmart and have fond memories here growing up. Came here when it was a Sears Outlet only to see the inside of this place once more. Anybody know what happened to the Ronald McDonald statue that was sitting on a bench?

I was not impressed. The fridges that were refurbished cost almost as much as a new one and a few that I picked out wouldnt even get cold... yikes. Ended up going to Lowes. Better fridge, brand new, same price.

Pretty good deals here, its always a good place to check out when looking for appliances. If you dont mind scratch and dent models check it out here, most still have warranty and extended warranties on most models. Wish the delivery wasnt so expense, but its not more then anywhere else. There is also a good choice in models and features.

They only have one salesperson on the floor with at least 5 shoppers wanting to check out. Some of the salespeople are very knowledgeable and friendly. You will get a good deal on appliances, but checkout is a bear! I had to wait for the one cashier to finish 3 people before he got to me, while the manager was in the back, rearranging inventory.

The manager, Datrion, was very helpful. I purchased an Electrolux 24 washing machine - 40% off retail price. It only had a scratch on one side of the machine, which I touched up with appliance paint. I used the Go Share app to get my washing machine delivered from Palmdale to Glendale the same day I bought it. Datrion provided excellent customer service and I would highly recommend dealing with him if you want to save a lot of money on great appliances.

Ordered 6 appliances, delivers only on tues. Had workers scheduled to accept delivery and install. No call, the workers in the house didnt hear anyone, no delivery. Sears stated they knocked on the door and had the wrong #. On my 1 day off a week, I had to drive out to palmdale from West hills to pick up 3 appliances in my truck for them to install. Remaining 3 appliances to be delivered in 1 week, on Tuesday. I call everyone to make sure I have a delivery window and am on the list to deliver. Delivery window 1-3pm, they show up at 1230, they call the right number, but only bring 1 of the 3 appliances, a refrigerator. The delivery guy asks me for all 5s on a phone review if I were to get one, I tell him Im going to blast him and sears, and the delivery company if anyone calls. No one called. I call searsoutlet, sorry but cant ship til next tuesday, unless you want to drive back and pick them up... Which I dont have time to do, so I plug the fridge in, every 30-45 minutes the compressor makes enough noise to wake up the neighborhood for about 15-30 seconds, not a quiet hum, but a loud metal on metal grind. I call searsoutlet and say the fridge I just purchased isnt working right please send out a tech. that will be $100 for the service call plus parts/labor I said I just purchased the fridge, she said you should have bought the warranty. So I buy the warranty on all the appliances, roughly $170/appliance, more for washer/dryer, less for dishwasher (2yr), and the manager says she will expedite a service appointment to have the tech come out and fix the fridge tomorrow. So I just got the confirmation email from Sears home services stating I do not have warranty coverage and its going to be $100 to send the tech out + parts/service. So I call them up and the worker on the phone says I do not have a warranty and cancels my appointment. I call sears outlet up... unable to call b/c line is busy... So basically I spent roughly the same/after warranty as I would have for new appliances, Ive been stood up twice and out $ for paying guys to be onsite to install at time of scheduled arrival, twice, as well as time taken of work and taken time from my day off of work, I have spent probably 10 hours in total dealing with sears outlet short comings. Sure they are friendly on the phone, but if I was the manager of this store I would be embarrassed. Myself, Im a doctor who owns 5 urgent cares, and could not imagine treating people like this, or running a business this far into the ground...By the way, Sears outlet answer to my complaints, a $50 gift card. Way to take accountability...

We use to go there to check out their clothes. They no longer carry any clothes its all appliances, few tools and some furniture.

They okay but you have to watch what you purchase they do not have the pride that they had on merchandise that they sell, its nothing like the 60s 70s and the 80s my family shop here for centuries and never thought they would drop as low as they have and I see why a lot of the stores have closed no loyalty in management they will sell anything dont matter if its good or bad.
