Got gas. Membership perks. Long line. Only thing irritating is how slow people move when filling gas. Youd think its their first time ever using a gas pump. Put your card in, push a button, fill your tank. Chop, chop. Youre the reason the lines are long

Went to the eye Dr there. Of course Dr McMahill was as efficient as ever. Been going to him for So many years & are so happy with the service. --- Went to order my glasses and Arturo was the associate who helped me order my glasses. He was very patient & kind :-) I had so many questions about the kind of glasses I had to order and he answered them all. SUPER! SUPER PATIENT!!! Thank you Arturo :-) & Costco for hiring such efficient associates.

Good Costco, clean, little crowded, has self checkout, helpful staff, gas station is busy and only has gas no diesel. Parking is tight so not big pickup freindly. Will come to this location again

I checked the two Costco’s by my home and none of them had the the following items in stock Paper towels, toilet paper and wipes but this Costco did. They are so well organized and clean. The lines were also short the day I came.I wish my Costco was as nice as this one is.

Costco Fails To Honor Their Military Veterans Offer! I signed up for a Costco membership in February with their Military Veteran Offer. I was supposed to receive a $30 Costco gift card for my membership. I never received my gift card. After two months I went back to the membership desk to complain & they said they made a mistake with my membership & promised to redo my membership with a Military Veteran Gift Card offer. It has now been 3 months & nothing. When I called the Costco support phone office, they refused to help me in any way. They say to go back to your store & try again. I have already done that once. I feel that Costco really does not care about honoring their military veterans.SHAME ON YOU COSTCO!

Overly crowded. High end Palm Spring dwellers everywhere. Nearly screaming at each other as slow lost drivers try and find parking in a jam packed lot. I went into the tire center as a member. The attendant was nice but a little harsh with his answers. Meaning “Take it or leave it “ attitude. So you are a number get your stuff and NEXT. Costco tire has always had that every store you go to I have discovered. And their prices are ok nothing to brag about. But if Costco is trading at $445 a share from $280 just less than a year ago, I don’t think they really care.

Love Tuesday and Thursday senior shopping days 9 to 10 am. In and out so quick ty.....

We went to look for filet Mignon and look at bigger TVs, no filets unfortunately and most of the big Tvs were turned off?. Plenty of clothes. Its always packed in there but now inflation is definitely being talked about by customers over rising ng prices.

A quick stop for lunch as we were passing through town.

The supply chain is obviously not up to full capacity as there were items that have been there in the past but not at this time. I understand they are doing the best with those items that are available.

What a disaster. They started self checkout without boxes or staff who would tell people how to handle items like bagels without bar codes. Also, no alcoholic items. Fewer cashiers and longer lines. No rotisserie chicken left at 6pm because they prepared everything too soon and had to discard items when they exceeded their 2 hour shelf life. Absolutely no planning. What is management at this store thinking? Very dissatisfied.

My elderly mother was berated by a cashier by the name of ‘Jessica’ for trying to purchase two 30 rolls of toilet paper. My mom couldn’t understand this cashier, So I stepped in and ‘Jessica’ rudely said. “Limit one per member’. And she proceeded to yell @ me as well. My mom became so nevious that she dropped her wallet, not knowing this until we arrived to her home. I had to drive back to Costco to pick up my mom’s lost wallet. I WILL BE FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT TO COSCTO CORPORATE TO INCLUDE ELDER ABUSE ….So…. BEWARE to all Senior Costco Members when shopping @ Palm Desert Warehouse. ‘Jessica’ has No patients for the elderly shoppers!!!!

We asked a question about the recall of the sun tan lotion from Neutrogena. She didnt want to help and was very rude.. I wish I got her name. But she was in the clothing dept. Work on customer service especially if we are executives members.. we werent asking for much. Just horrible customer service

Had not been for a couple of years I forgot all the great stuff they had to offer. I spent over 300 dollars on my first visit and I dont regret it at all. Came home happy

Had to shop today at Costco and it was over 110 degrees out and i had not eaten anything so i bought a slice of pizza and asked for a cup of ice water. I was not feeling good at all and Im a senior citizen with some health issues so that makes it worse. I got the pizza but she forgot the water. So i walked away but started feeling really bad so I pulled my mask down to take a bite of the pizza and was ATTACKED by Elva who came running out of the kitchen door yelling at me to put my mask on and leave the store. I told her I was getting sick and could not go into the heat i just needed to take a few bites and she continues to yell at me. I pulled my mask up and adjusted it and turned and asked her if this was good. She started screaming for a supervisor and yelling she was being attacked. It was rediculous. So i walked away. There was a lady who witnessed the whole thing and then she heard this Elva telling lies about what happened to her co workers and a supervisor. So she went and tolad a different one.I hope Elva learns to control herself and not mistreat customers. She was out of control. Its agood thing in not going anymore. :D

My card was renewed within minutes ... No charge for replacement either. Friendly service too.Midweek is probably better to shop at Costco, as it is less crowded.

COSTCO ~ Always an awesome experience & great deals of lots of products for a new home. Helpful & friendly associates that will take the extra effort to find a product, pricing or if another Costco may have the item if they dont. A MUST HAVE MEMBERSHIP 🇺🇲✌

Clean, not too busy, top-notch optical, hearing aid and glasses center. But, this store has been replacing its three large freezers, one at a time, over the past year. Its taken them three months for each freezer, so with one always not in service, they have reduced the selection of frozen items and dont stock many items found at other Costcos. Also, with so much stacked in the aisles, its hard to maintain social distancing. There are also two very inefficient male checkers, but you learn to avoid them.

Always an experience and usually pretty good. Dont always assume youre getting the best price, and dont buy 20 items cuz the price is good but youll never use them before the expiration date 🥴.Only bad experience Ive ever had at this Costco are the gas lines. If its extremely busy people can get nasty. Costco needs to have traffic control to keep people orderly

Weve been loyal members of Costco going back to when they merged with Price Club. 3 stores near us when we lived in Mission Viejo; 2 stores near us in Temecula. Enjoyed shopping in all.The Costco on Monterey in Palm Desert is the worst!What makes it the worst? The inside temperature. Unreasonably cold. Management at this location obviously thinks more of the comfort of employees than they do of their customers.I mentioned this to three supervisory types on 8-18-2021 and they laughed at me. I wanted to browse the aisles looking for stuff I might need. I was so uncomfortable, I left instead.I will go to Sams Club across the street until things change.

Some things I was looking for werent there. The food bar (the one that serves hot food after your Costco excursions!) is awful. The food isnt as good and the selection is tiny to non-existent. However, Costco is Costco and the staff are EXTREMELY friendly, the store is clean and overall the selection is great. Happy shopping!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Incompetent cashiers, rude boxers, and managers who don’t care at all, a terrible mix indeed! The cashier I had didn’t scan the waters on my cart (they were on a flat bed cart and I pointed them out so no excuse to miss them), I get stopped at the door and treated like a thief because of her screw up. Not only that but I had my groceries separated into two orders very organized but both the cashier and boxer completely mixed them up which absolutely no care. During this whole ordeal every employee was incredibly rude and the manager did not care at all when I explained what happened. AVOID THIS COSTCO AT ALL COSTS!

We got our membership today- went with the executive card for best return on purchases. We enjoyed samples of all kinds from vitamin shakes to focaccia (sp?) Breads, to coffee and hot links. Prices were fair, perks are plentiful, the book section won my 9 yr. Old son over with a wide selection of brainy books and activity packs for young learners. We even bought mens pants and a belt along with our groceries.

Just got gas. They always pump for me with no problem. Best local price always PLUS 4% cash back. Win Win Win

Palm desert Costco has been updating their freezers for more than a month now. They are getting close to finishing. You cant find certain things right now and have to go to la quinta Costco.

Always love Costco but do have to say that I prefer to go to this store when it opens because later in the day it gets pretty congested. Which reminds me to thank you for opening early for seniors. Love this and hope it continues in the summer when it is too hot to be out shopping at 10 am

This store made a real effort to make members feel safe during the pandemic. Widened isles. Good mask policy. Safety barriers.I primarily use the pharmacy here. And I have to say, every person Ive been served by there has been really happy to help me get my medicine right. I use coupons for some meds and they have to adjust prices. Never once has anyone been anything but pleasant about it. I look forward to dealing with them. I cant say that about every pharmacy out there. They had a great team.

Very nice location the store wasnt crowded and all the sales people were very helpful and polite. Very clean store and the sample vendors were back.

Love this place I just dont care much for how much they move everything . When your on a busy schedule you just want to go straight in and get what go for and pay but when they move everything its takes twice the time to do the shopping .

My problem with Costco is that even though I go in with a list - they offer great deals I cant seem to resist. I lost my husband awhile back. I still cant pass up the deals so I have a friend and we split the items and it works. Love Costco. I admit not a fan of Sams.

FRUSTRATING, to say the least! The self check registers dont have scanning guns so you have to wait for the one person working the multiple stations to assist with your merchandise. No sense at all!

Member for years now. My wholesale one stop shop. I love that the chaos has calmed down. Its always busy. The price is right. And I love executive members exclusive perks. Costco have my season faves (garlic butter) to my everyday pickups (Ritz crackers, wontons, beef sausage and cheese wraps). Occasionally I find something new like those flautas. Whats a Costco run with some season clothes. Today I picked up workout shorts and swimsuit bottoms. Whats not to love.

I just love it there. When You first walk in you are mesmerized by a 77 inch flat screen TV playing a wild screen saver. I have to tear myself away only to pass by the sparkling jewelry counter with diamonds the size of M&Ms. I just gef the essentials....coffee...wine...cleaning products and steaks for the freezer. Had to pass up the cooked Alaskan King Crab legs that were BEAUTIFUL as well as the Dungeness crab the size of dinner plates

I got to do something I mostly come here for the pizza and gas... Im single so I dont need to buy in bulk but I still like the products there

Costco is just it: Costco! Good prices, generally a good selection of items, even for the single household. Sometimes they are out of items for long times or have removed them from their sortiment altogether, e.g., herring in sour cream or ruby red grapefruit juice. Thats a shame! They also move their product around in the store way too often which makes it hard to find the same items you just may have bought two week ago. Its a planned psychological confusion of the customer to keep them in the store longer and expose them to more and other products in the hope that they will buy more stuff.

Love this Costco! Always great parking available and superb service. Compared to the locations back home (S.F. Bay Area)this location feels bigger some how or the crowds here are smaller. During the off season of course. Employees are helpful and friendly. The selection of products is always top quality and low price. Im a life time member of Costco so I am a little biased.

Went in to get a flat fixed guy said it was shot and couldnt be patched. Ive never had any other experience with this costco location. Ive bought quite a few sets from Costco back in washington state. Long story short I went to Les schwab, tire was just fine they patched it and I was on my way. I would not recommend the tire shop at this location. They were just trying to up sale me on tires that were not needed, didnt care to fix my flat.

We were loyal fans of Costco when we lived in Pennsylvania, and have transferred that to our new Costco home in the desert! The addition of the ability for us to purchase alcohol from their wide variety of offerings is a treat for us. PA is one of those Big Brother states when it comes to alcohol sales. The friendly, helpful staff is wonderful...far better than back east. Thank you for creating the safest shopping environment possible during this health crisis. Costco visits have become a vacation destination for many of us this year! BTW, we do miss the samples...
