This is possibly the best home Depot that I have ever been in it is well organized it is clean the people were willing and able to answer just about any question I posed. They have an absolutely beautiful greenery section there plants are well taken care of and look great and they survive quite well once you get home with them, it seems. But the truly stand out section of the entire store is the pro desk the lady running the desk is intelligent quick-witted and completely capable, if you need a quote she can do it quickly and get you the best deal possible with the least bit of hassle. I needed a quote for a pretty good size deck and materials for a remodel of a few rooms and she was able to get my quote in and get me the cheapest quote compared to three other businesses in the area in hours not days. If you need to get materials at a reasonable price and you need to get that job done quickly go to the Home Depot in Oxford, Alabama and ask for Ashley, she can get you the deal you need to finish that home repair or upgrade.

Would’ve been a zero star if that was even an option.First experience was terrible. Ordered a building that was suppose to be delivered to my house the next business day. They apparently lost it, took forever to locate and “ship” again only to be notified that it was never “shipped” because the driver declined it multiple times.Even with that, thought I’d give them another shot seeing as the first time could’ve been at least half of the driving services fault. This time I called to ensure an appliance was in stock before driving there. Was passed around for over an hour, only to be told that they were “too busy” to go check and would call me back later in the day. Would’ve been different if that was the story right when I called and not OVER an HOUR of being passed around. Absolutely ridiculous service.

Came in to buy a few things and buy an upright freezers, but the selection was not good, only had 1 and couldnt see it, it was in a box, so we didnt buy one. We did get to look around some and Ive been looking at the pancake air compressors. Since Christmas is coming up, I took a few pictures so my wife would know what to buy me at Christmas time!

Home Depot great for home improvement and also if you have any projects that you need to be able to your home they are the place

In April 2021, I went through this Home Depot, to have a new Lennox HVAC system installed. The company installing it was Aire Serv of Birmingham, Alabama. This company has turned out to be less than reputable. They installed cheaper equipment than was specified in the contract-then claimed it was a computer error. They then refused to honor the $1250.00 rebate written into the contract. Now, I find out, the 10 year labor warranty written into the contract is no good. The nearest company that will accept it, is approximately 80 miles away-this is per the labor warranty company. After being caught repeatedly breaching the written contract, they have cut off all communications with me. I now have a 10 year contract, that for all purposes, is useless. This Home Depot told me that yes we took your money and referred you to them. But, you have no contract with us, so there is nothing we will do to help you. Air Serv says yes we installed your equipment but we did not deposit your money. We gave it to Home Depot to deposit-so we did not get paid. Be very careful if using this Home Depot for any contracting company they recommend. I have searched the Alabama Secretary of State web site, trying to find the license Air Serv uses to operate in Alabama. Their written contract states they are AireServ of Birmingham. There is no business by that name listed under the Business Entity Records, for the State of Alabama. Buyer Beware.

We were able to all but of the items we needed for our project. The app said they had 6 and we took 3. There was none left. However, I was more impressed that when asked for a little help they promptly found some to load up the three bulkiest and cumbersome sized items. He loaded up our van as well. I would not have strong enough to lift it and my husbands mobility issues precluded it. So appreciate the help.

Best place to get supplies for any home project. Charles or Tim are the best for help and advice that I have met in all of my many year of doing projects around the house.

You can do it, we can help is just to get you in the store. We were looking for some countertops. Low-end, as we are on a budget. They dont cut anything, dont know any general contractors in the area, and advised us if we used Home Depot they would charge about three times the price. Needless to say we just left. Customer Service is non-existent in the location in Oxford, AL. We went over to Lowes where they were happy to help us.

I realise that all hardware stores are doing the best they can right now with supply and demand. Im looking forward to fully stocked hardware stores again.

Always impress with their vast array of products. However, their self service computer system is marginal. Take a lesson from Walmart, get a good system and market it with messaging and in-store signage. First one to do it wins.

I like this Home Depot, more than other home improvement type stores in our area. Theyre clean, quick to be of help when necessary, and keep things in stock more than others.

Black cashiers are the worst here. They dont smile and are always rude. I take my money else where.

They always have what I’m looking for but some days it can take awhile to find someone who can help me find what I need.

Nice store location and always clean and tidy. I almost always find what I need, especially when in search of power tools or specialty items. Garden center gets the job done, but it is clearly not the focus of the store. As with all big box stores, it is a challenge sometimes to get ahold of someone to answer a question or find a product, but the selection and ease of finding just about anything pretty much makes up for it!

Went to get some potting soil and some wheat straw today at about 2:30pm. Paid for everything and then waited 15min for someone to unlock the straw for us. Once I climbed the fence to find out that the bales were half sized they finally showed up. Went to customer service to get a refund and everyone seemed extremely unbusy. This whole store is a joke. Get a job here if youd like to be paid for standing around on your phone not doing anything.

Normally I stear clear of this place because I have had to many bad experiences here. I must say this time it was a little better.

Let’s see, first, thanks lost prevention for being up our bottoms. Second, all you lost prevention people could of went back and let someone know that the 2 customers on the plumbing isle looks like they need customer service. Back off and maybe realize what’s really going on.

Building my shop without materials would have been impossible right? Lol. Very helpful team there. Give em a list and theyll get it for you. Some returns didnt go smoothly, but still able to work it out. 👍

Far from the inventory Lowes carries w/ a major difference at customer service compared to Anniston Lowes. Oxford Home Depot has the worst customer service out of the 10+ Home Depots Ive been in.

I was hesitant about shopping but needed to see some items in person. I was very happy to see a sanitizing/ wash station at the entrance and that all employees were masked. I recieved assistance from Jesse who went above and beyond in assisting us, our cashier helped to ring me up through self checkout, and another cashier, Deanna, took the time to double check a price by going back to the shelf to verify. The prices were comparable to the other box store but the extra friendly help I recieved made this my new go to store.

The manager here, Mark Hamilton, does not do a very good job of representing this company. He enjoys being confrontational, disrespectful and seems to enjoy yelling at people. Ill never provide my business to a place or staff under his management.

This is one of two places I trade with.They have the best quality and selection of trim and paint. Thus is my home store.

They do carry more variety of brands than any lowes

Ordered my cooktop online for delivery to my home. Well, waited the day before arrival for a call from Home Depot in regards to an arrival time. Call never happened. So I called and was hung up on twice, third time I was put on hold for 57 minutes before being hung up on. Then waited at home the entire day that the cooktop was to be delivered. Nothing, no call and no cooktop. Had to cancel payment through my credit card company. Never ever again will I order online from this company. Customer service needs a lot of training. Even my local Home Depot had issues with their customer service.

Sum staff are very nice and friendly, sum are shrudes, but overall home depot is the place to go for ur home improvement needs!

You can never find anybody to help you and when you do, theyre usually rude. I approached two employees to ask them a question, and they acted like they didnt even hear or see me. And they may as well not even have a phone because they never answer when you call.

Ive gone looking for things twice and asked associates where I might find them. Either they had never heard of the products or they simply didnt know. I of course found it using the website and my phone but the level of training seems to be in short supply at this location.

Would have given them 5 stars as the associate that helped us was great. However, upon checking out, there was ONLY self checkout available. We had trouble the scanner which wouldn’t work and was about to leave all our products right there, when someone finally came and changed stations in order for it to work. I hate self checkout. Either pay me $10 for working at HomeDepot or offer a 30% discount on my entire order OR provide customer service by checking out your customers.It’s not great business practice. Discourages the choice to shop there. Can you say LOWES!!!
