I walked in for an oil change and tire rotation with no appt and was kindly greeted, asked what they could help me with, so I dropped off my keys returning in an hour to find it was all done. I also received a prompt call when the service was complete. Been here many times before and they are awesome at the shop!! Blue Valley is very professional, they’ve always taken care of me no problem. Highly recommend their shop!!

They are upfront, honest and know how to properly set expectations on both the scope of repairs and time required. Oades Brothers Blue Valley Goodyear is truly one of the best auto shops in Kansas City. Do not mistake this place for a tire shop that might be able to swap out your wiper blades- they are a full service auto shop with master technicians who know what theyre doing. Their oil change prices are the best Ive seen and over the years theyve done everything from installing running boards for me to more serious engine work including replacing my timing belt, and Ive never left there without feeling completely satisfied. Their labor costs are very reasonable compared to industry standard and they will not try to oversell you on any part or service you do not need. Ive recognized the same faces in there for years and its always a good sign when you have that level of employee retention. They will not oversell or overcharge you, and they will certainly not disappoint!

Wonderful service! My car over heated unexpectedly, on Saturday afternoon. Not ideal timing, as I had just visited Costco, and was loaded down! I was luckily close to Oades Brothers, I pulled in, they looked at my car immediately and diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and was fixed by 9am on Monday morning. Thank you!

Called last minute due to a flat tire needing to be repaired. They said bring it in and we will have you out in an hour. 1. No others had openings today 2. They were done in 30 minutes!!!

Ended up with a puncture in my sidewall; the team at Oades Brothers was able to not only find me the seemingly one remaining tire of that type in the metro area but also get it installed the same day so I could make it to the lake the next morning. Went to another shop and they gave me an “inspection” and a mis-diagnosis. Oades took care of me, and fixed my problem at a much lower price than others quoted me. Great place, highly recommend!

I was told it was only going to take an hour or so to fix my tire but this shop prioritize other customers if they would make more money on another vehicle. I waited 4 hours just for them to tell me that they can’t fix mytire bc they can’t find the key for my wheel locks.What kind of tire shop does not have a masterKey to remove OEM lug nuts for a VW vehicle.Never coming back again. And the workers are very unprofessional. I went to Discount Tires across the street and they fixed my tire in less than an hour with no issue.

I’ve been to this place a few times for oil changes and break repair. This time I went in for my front breaks to be repaired due to the noise. They were honest and let me know that my breaks did not need repair and was actually in good shape. Although I still don’t know where the noise is coming from, I’m glad they didn’t try to take my money on something that didn’t need fixing. You don’t find many places like that!

Very honest!I went to Oades Brothers to receive a quote for a repair job on my vehicle. I came here because Big O Tires said I needed a costly repair. I went to Oades for a second opinion and they found nothing wrong with my car. I came in expecting a $600+ dollar job, but instead left with a smile and an intact wallet.We all know its hard to find a mechanic that you can trust, and I would recommend calling Oades Brothers first before getting swindled by others across the street.

Called to ask about a single tire repair around 11am on a Tuesday. Got my vehicle in around 11:10am. They fixed my tire and sent me on my way within thirty minutes.

After 10 or more years as my go to mechanics. Under Bob’s supervision I have always been treated like a family member. Billy has put together a great operation for our community. They have kept my family on the road with money left in my wallet!

I’m afraid to trust Goodyear, because I was lied to and taken advantage of simply because I’m a woman and know very little about cars. Unfortunately, I’ve had to work with Bob (Goodyear employee) on 3 or 4 different occasions. I’m fed up with Bob patronizing and deceiving me. My auto warranty covers the compressor and condenser to my air conditioning system only if it is “NOT WORKING.” The insurance company stated that if Goodyear states in the claim that the compressor is clogged rather than “not working,” then it will NOT be covered. Also, they require the mechanic to take pictures in order to prove why the compressor is not working. Well Bob said my air conditioner would NOT be covered under warranty because the compressor is clogged—not broken. I asked him to take the unit apart and take a picture but he said it was impossible to do that. That made absolutely no sense to me so I began to ask more questions. Bob became angry and started yelling at me in front of other customers and insisted I pay close to $1k out of pocket to fix the problem. He also told me it would cost another $100 to fix the latch to the hood. He claimed it took over an hour to open the hood because the latch was broken. Dissatisfied with Bob’s explanation and unprofessionalism, I took my car to New Concept Auto Repair. Within 30 minutes they were able to determine the cause, take pictures, and submit a claim to my insurance company. The picture confirmed there was debris in the condenser, which was clogging up the compressor, which caused the unit to NOT WORK properly. Therefore, it was fully covered under warranty. New Concept’s mechanic also informed me that the latch to the hood was NOT broken and they had no issue with getting it open. But the worse part is Goodyear never put my Freon back into the car!!! I would have never known if I hadn’t taken my car to New Concept the same day. In my opinion, Bob is a liar and crook! And come to find out, the owner was present and witnessed Bob’s rude behavior. Although I filed a complaint, the owner simply made excuses for Bob. Apparently, he’s been a family friend for many years and has always been this way. On the other hand, Mike (the other employee at Goodyear) is nice, professional, and trustworthy but didn’t have the opportunity to work with him the last couple of times I needed service. Due to the lack of integrity, I recommend all women go elsewhere!

The staff is very friendly, you can schedule online and the prices are great! It is locally owned as well, so I will continue to take my car there.

Great service. I had bought a set of tires from Walmart online and they refused to install because they werent the exact factory size. These guys didnt rake me over the coals like a couple other shops I called wanted to. Only regret is I didnt come here first.

I am getting ready to take a drive to Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is the second year I have taken my car into Oades Brothers Tire & Auto - Blue Valley on 119 th Street. I got a oil change and I asked them to check out my car to make it safe for my long trip. They ended up rotating my tires, filing them up and doing my oil change. That was all I needed. Just had rotors and break pads replaced on all four wheels plus brake fluid change and a radiator flush on our 2004 Gand Cherokee. We are elated that the brake job eliminated all previous braking vibration and a soft pedal. Great service, great people. I reached out to them because of their good reviews. I made an appointment to have my brakes done, also get strut and shocks put on my car. They called me up to let me know only be back brakes needed replaced and that in addition to the work I requested I need a wheel alignment and one of my tires had a nail in it. They didnt try to sell me on any service I didnt need like a certain tire store down the road from them. I actually paid less than what I was expecting to pay based on the estimate I got from a certain other tire place down the road from Oades Brothers. They are really great and fast. My car drove like a brand new car when I got it back.

Had my brake fluid cylinder explode and they took me in at 4 on a Friday. That alone is amazing, but the price was cheaper than most! This was my first time here but they even gave me a complimentary tire balance and rotation after I mentioned an issue with wobbling. Verry happy. Good service, but there was one thing made me almost not to ask for what I needed. When I walked in and talked the guy about what service I needed. He didn’t give me a chance to say what I meant because I was sure he couldn’t understand me well because the mask but I felt like he was pushing me or something otherwise good service.

Went in to replace battery terminals as they were very corroded and snuck me in right before close for a super reasonable price. Very honest as well! Blue Valley Goodyear has helped me many times. My car uses oil and they check the oil for me very frequently to protect the motor. They are professional, efficient and personable. I trust them and the advice they give me. I highly recommend this shop! I had an issue yesterday and my car was towed to them. Mike took care of everything. He made sure it was fixed and I was able to have the car repaired in one day. I recommend them to everyone I know!

I brought my car in this morning with a loud noise coming from the front right brakes. They checked it out and called me back in about 30 minutes telling me that it was just a loose bolt that they fixed. They said it was ready to pick up and there was no charge! I have used these folks a few times over the years and they have always been reliable and fair, but this was above and beyond. They have a customer for life.

I went in just to get a brake light replaced, so it was nothing big. It was nice to be in and out in about half an hour. Obviously that depends on whether or not they are busy, but still, it was nice to only wait for half an hour and spend a lot less than I anticipated as well. Thank you!
