Midas was amazing! I showed up several hours early prior to my appointment because the air in the tire wasnt holding. I had a bad tire in need of repair. The shop was able to get me in fairly soon after I arrived. They fixed the tire which had a nail in it. I had thoughts I was going to need a new tire. They were understanding. They communicated the issues fully. I highly recommend this shop, and will be returning for future maintenance and repairs. Thank you for the great customer service!

The people seem sincere and honest but each time we go in, we come out with a new problem. A simple oil change with two different vehicles somehow resulted in now having oil leaks.I understand one is a coincidence or timing of gasket getting old but not the second car with how it had been impeccably maintained without ever leaking oil until we took it here. Excuses and speculation reign. Car issues can be tricky things to diagnose but three times they have had to fix something they did wrong the first time in addition to the oil situations. Imagine making 2 or 3 trips that should be done in 1 for EACH problem. Unfortunately we went from loving this place to feeling we cant afford to let them touch our cars even for simple things. They are courteous and make good on their mess ups which is respectable. An employee did tell us they are not allowed breaks and work long days, open to close. Maybe they make errors due to fatigue? Maybe its an issue of expertise? The things they did wrong when explained to us shoved like duh moments even to people with moderate mechanical knowledge. Either way we cant justify going back and cant recommend it. Hopefully youll have better luck. Sorry to the owner who replied happily to my initial glowing review about how we were treated. I was glowing several issues ago before I wasted many hours and wonder if one particular issue was even diagnosed correctly in the first place and have updated my review accordingly Unfortunately the error rate here forced us to find someone else to trust with our cars.

Louis is a GEM! His demeanor put me at ease and he absolutely went above and beyond in regard to customer service. You can tell he cares about people. Hes a good and honest mechanic with a heart of gold. Ill be back for sure. I highly recommend visiting this store.

Called in and spoke with manager, Louis, about an exhaust installment completed at home on the Jeep but just had trouble with fitment of one of the last exhaust hangers and if he could take a look at it and help. He mentioned to bring it by and his tech, Joseph, helped right away to solve the problem. Joe checked over all the connections on the system to give me the OK prior to leaving and had me back on the road in what seemed like 15 minutes. I really appreciate them putting me into their schedule and helping me right away as it was later in the day and the quick turn around was a plus. Definitely would come back here again with that kind of customer service.

Missed My oil change appt. My SUV had an issue (cm engine light came on and the vehicle shut it sell off) getting there. Once I finally arrived at the store The manager took the time to put water in My Radiator even though I had advised Him (There price was too high) a tow truck was enroute and Midas was not who I opt to resolve the issueProps for being courteous; However, No one had on a mask....The mechanics, The manager and neither of the five people in the waiting area

This particular Midas always takes great care of the vehicles my wife and I own. We can schedule ahead or if something dire happens like a tire popping weve been able to come in and it gets taken care of right away. Weve been coming to them with different vehicles for the last 3 years and they never try to upcharge you on things and really want to keep your business long term.

I appreciated the can-do attitude. I was also glad to learn what I needed and what it was going to cost.

I went in because I figured I needed new brakes. It turns out it was a much more simple solution and not nearly as expensive. Most places would have replaced the brakes, even if they didnt need replacing and charged me for it. I appreciate the honesty and integrity of this shop and they will get all my future business.

My muffler went out on a Tuesday afternoon and the Overland Park Midas, located off of Metcalf and 77th Street and they (Lewis) initially scheduled me for an appointment the next day at 2:30 p.m. Then I called back and Lewis told me to bring my car in first thing the next day. The muffler was replaced and their inspection team identified a potential issue to keep an eye on. Louis Wolf and Bob are by far the best examples of customer care and excellence Ive had in 24 years of owning my 1997 Honda Civic. They truly cared that my car was repaired to my satisfaction and were genuinely kind and friendly. I highly recommend them (Louis is a superstar) and the Midas off of Metcalf.

Hello my name is Cynthia Rainey and I want to tell the world about how great Louis and a couple of other guys saved me on Metcalf Ave. yesterday.  I was on my way home when my car startled to rattle.  I saw Midas up ahead and barely made it to the driveway of Midas.  I immediately called to Midas and yelled help and told Louis and he came running out and two other guys to pushed my car into the parking lot.  I was so thankful that they saved me from the rush hour traffic.  I had panicked and was so afraid in the middle of the traffic.  Thanks to Louis and the other two guys for saving me.  Louis found that i just had a loose screw in the axle and tightened it up for me.  I have been a customer for more than 10 years at Midas and Louis has always been very nice and courteous.  I appreciate his honesty and the excellent customer service that he gives.

It was quick. And the first Midas sent me to another Midas because their exhaust guy suddenly had other things to do. My only problem was that I later checked mail to discover I could have saved $30 on my bill. But, as life goes, I was completely satisfied.

I’ve been going to this location for years, and Louis has been the go-to guy for all my car needs. He’s assisted with each issue, while being straight forward, and not cutting corners. He’s made sure the problems are fixed, and even if I believed there was an issue, he didn’t make an issue up, he told me there was no need to have to done yet, and to come back whenever it needs to in the future. Everyone here is efficient and straight forward individuals.

This place is always so amazing. They are always thorough with servicing a vehicle, checking out anything and everything and then running it by you before charging. This is the first and only shop that I trust with my vehicles. (I’m already on my second car with them) They always explain any repairs and give you a timeline on possible future repairs so you can stay on top of your car’s maintenance. If you are a young woman, like myself, who is tired of being given the run around by mechanics or talked down to, this is the place you need to go. It’s also great for everyone else of course 😊

I am normally one who gets their oil changed as soon as the reminder sticker says at the dealership. I was unable to get in at the dealership when the time came due and went to Midas instead. Louis informed me that my oil did not need changing at that time and I could go longer between changes since my car would tell me. I was very appreciative of the honesty and will come back for my regular oil changes at Midas now.

They were very accommodating and was able to fit me in early in the morning, right when they opened. They also did a good job and was very quick about it. The only thing I did not like was that they tried to push a cabin filter change, which I know is probably coming from corporate and is always off putting (for me at least).

I have been going to this Midas for about 3 years now. I take my Ram and my wife’s Mazda. Louis is fantastic and always shoots me straight. I have no idea if I could be getting my oil changes done cheaper elsewhere but I trust Louis’ recommendations and that he isn’t trying to charge me for things I dont need. That is what I look for the most! I even recall one time I took my wife’s Mazda too soon on accident and he very well could have just charged me and moved on but he told it wasn’t time yet and sent me on my wife! If you are looking for a place you can trust, this is it.

I had a muffler become disconnected. It sounded like I was driving a tank. I was able to make an appointment online and they were able to get me in on the same day. Problem solved and they’ve likely gained a new customer for other car services in the future.

They did a great job with identifying the problem with my tire and fixing it - but that’s their job. The customer service is what really pleased me! I felt like I could trust them, I felt like they cared; and they were timely too!

The first thing I do when I wake up in morning is pray to GOD HIMSELF that my Nissan makes an unexpected noise so I can have an excuse to bring it in to Louis.

Got my car exhaust done at this location. The price was reasonable. Luis (store manager) will make sure you are happy with your service. My exhaust had a minor issue, and was told by Luis to bring the vehicle back. The car was later fixed with no other charges. Luis and his team are great people to go to.

Have used Midas for approximately three years for maintenance on two cars. Louis has been very professional and has advised me when additional maintenance may be upcoming. No repair work done without my knowledge and approval.

Great customer service and they saved me a bunch of money by physically showing me why my brake pads didnt need replaced when the dealership prematurely said that they did.

As always, a smooth experience at this location. This has been maybe my fourth time taking my car here and Luis, the manager, makes any car repair experience seem like a breeze and I will definitely use Midas again for other repairs.
