I brought my car into u guys yesterday 10/19/21 and u guys treated me w respect and u guys explained everything to me so that I would understand..when I was calling around to get my car fixed I felt like I was taking advantage of and they wanted to do unnecessary things to my car.. Barry Jensen and the crew I feel like had my back and I will definitely b coming back every time I need oil changes or work done on my car.. They take my car though I was late for the appointment.They did a good job on my car.Sometimes, when i had service for my car they left some mess like grease all over the steering wheel, but these people were very clean. They also finished the job before their suggested time.We love how they took a video of everything they did to my car. 1st time using Meineke - quite by accident - but will definitely be back.They offered a coupon - even though their price was reasonable and comprehensive.They provided me a list of things that could improve the performance of the car as well as things that are in good status. 2 of the 3 items that could use attention we were already aware so I did not feel as though they were trying to milk more money out of me.We had been having trouble with the key faub and mentioned they should be careful so the key doesn’t fall out- we did not ask them to fix it - just to be careful. Turns out it was Very minor and they fixed the key faub and it was so minor they didn’t charge us .Great experience- would highly recommend and we will be back.

We came because we had a coupon for synthetic oil, which is required for our Camry. The coupon was for about $25. When we got there, of course the coupon didn’t apply to us. We needed a different kind of synthetic oil (are there different kinds, and if so, why didn’t they quote the other prices on the coupon)? We ended up paying about 3 times as much. But that’s not all. They decided our “struts” had to be replaced. That and various other add-one came up to over a thousand dollars! So besides the “bait and switch,” they also tried to lure us into spending a whole lot for unnecessary repairs. What a ripoff! Don’t go to Meineke!

Whenever buying a used vehicle, it is always a good idea to have the car inspected prior to purchase or immediately afterwards during the warranty period. The technician and service advisor were very thorough, and kept me constantly updated on the progress of the inspection. At the end of day, my vehicle got a great report. They definitely gave me peace of mind with my new purchase.

Kelsey was great working me in for a headlight out and tire pressure gauge.

I had a poor battery connection so my car wouldn’t start every time. Barry quickly fixed the problem so I wouldn’t be stranded again. Then he priced the replacement part and labor. He asked nothing for his work but accepted the amount I suggested. Barry saw I was not feeling great and quickly addressed my car’s problem. I really thank him for his experience and kindnes.

I was not given the correct inspection report for the alignment I had done. The report I got was for a Honda with the wrong pictures and diagnoses.

I booked an appointment for 7.30am, got there to be told I was in the system for 8am. I showed him the confirmation email which says 7.30 to be told I would have to wait until 8 anyway. So I couldnt get my oil change because I had to be at work. I cant get a refund because its passed the refund time all because their online system doesnt communicate to their stores properly

The front desk was not very helpful when I came in, as to stood there waiting for five minutes while they were ordering their lunch and talking to each other. They did not ask what oil change I wanted and got frustrated with me when I told them I wanted a basic oil change through the coupon instead of synthetic. When I got home I checked my engine and they had not even screwed my engine cap back on they left it loose which explains the shaking noise I heard on the drive home. They also charged me for a synthetic oil change when I had specifically asked for the basic, so they had to refund me. The front desk guy then proceeded to complain about the fact that there was a coupon to begin with. Had there not been a coupon, I would not have come to this business due to the bad reviews so obviously the coupon is there for a reason. Overall very unprofessional.

I had a coupon from an email offer, andwent to the location in Overland Park to get an oil change. I arrived at 4:50 PM, for an appointment I scheduled online at 5:00 PM. I was initially told that youre too late, we are closing soon. I reminded the manager that I had made an appointment, but the mgr stated that we dont control the online scheduling. I expressed my displeasure--professionaly-- and prepared to leave, but the mgr asked me to wait to let him ask a technician if there was an available bay to fit me in. My car was pulled in and prepared for action, when the mgr approached me with the news that we dont have the synthetic blend your car usually takes, so we have to give you a full synthetic. Itll be $85. The online coupon I had was for $35, but was told that it would not be honored because we didnt distribute those. End of story: very dissatisfied, went to a different place.

I could not be more impressed by an auto shop. Very professional and polite. Kelsey at the front desk was so helpful and knowledgeable about what was diagnosed for my car. She even gave me suggestions and was very understanding. All of the guys in that shop were very hard at work and they were able to get me in and out. I also love that they take pictures and give you a break down of any issues you may have. I will recommend this particular Meineke to all my family and friends. Thank you very much.

I made an appointment at the Olathe location, even though there is an Overland Park location closer, because of the oil change offer there. After making the appointment and requesting the coupon, I printed it out and drove to drop off in Olathe. When we got there, we were told that location does not honor the special for which I had a coupon (because they dont carry that kind of oil) and I would have to pay 40% more than what I expected. This seems like classic bait and switch.Edit: I contacted customer service as advised below. Its been several weeks and no response.

Took my car for a simple oil change at a dedicated appointment time yet took them an hour and some to get it done. The place including their waiting area had a stinking smell of pot smokers that I hate. The mechanics had no idea how to work on a BMW so I asked them to stop fidgeting with a simple thing like reseting the service lights and did it on my own. I would not recommend this place unless you have a beater car.

Ive been coming to this repair shop for so long that Kelsey knows us and both of our cars without even saying. They are the only ones weve trusted to work on every car we had. Their prices are reasonable. They really try to help you out and I like to take advantage of the 0% interest rate promotion using my Meineke credit card. Definitely recommend all of their services.

I came in from out of town with liquid spewing out of the front of my car after a rock fell off a semi truck and broke through my radiator. They were able to get me in and out same day within 3 hours with a new radiator. They were helpful and professional!

Recently had them do an oil change. Ended up being about $2700 in work that they had to do (boot axle, timing belt, etc). I (reluctantly) paid up and then drove my car for about a month with almost no issues. After that month, I started hearing a rattling. As I was heading into work, the sound suddenly stopped, as did my brakes working.They had not tightened down the bolt on my back left caliper and it came off, spilling out all of my brake fluid and destroying my rotor in the process. I got to work fine, but had to call a tow out of there. I towed it to a mechanic that one of my friends had recommended. He had told me what I suspected and it was under warranty for Meineke.Had it towed to Meineke (which they would not do for free despite my car not working and it being their fault) with my insurance. They fixed my car up under the warranty and I came to pick it up the next day. After getting in my car back, I had noticed the brakes were extremely spongey. After getting home and doing some investigating, I had found out that they had not filled the brake fluid up to its maximum level (they didnt even fill it back up to MINIMUM).If you just need an oil change, theyre fine. But if you need ANYTHING brake related or actual work done, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. They couldnt do a job right the first time, and they sure didnt do it right the second time round either. Theyre lucky I didnt come back with a lawyer.Never going back there again. Stay away from here and go somewhere that has decent mechanics working.

I hope they did the work that they promised. I feel that I was rushed when I picked up the carI wanted 12 months same as cash., I felt thay did not have time for me to fill out an application.

This place is out of my way, but I’ve had such good service every time that I keep coming back. The front desk staff (I think she’s the manager) is very knowledgeable and is quick to quote me on the work I need done. The mechanics get my car in and out in a reasonable time and I haven’t had trouble with any work I’ve had done.

The communication and speed of service was impressive. The reason I’m leaving 2 stars is because my total amount due ended up being $50-60 more than I was originally quoted and the only thing that was added was an air filter. After I had already paid I went out to get in my truck and leave there were oily hand smudges all over the outside of my truck. Right as I was starting to back out the technician comes running out with the air filter in his hand apparently they had forgot to even put an air filter back in my truck. Most oil changes I’ve had done come with all fluids being topped off, not this one. I originally went to this location because I received a coupon which I didn’t even get to use because they didn’t have the right oil for my truck. I won’t be back.

Coming in for an oil change and worried due to an oil leak and not having much money, the staff at this location was professional, respectful, kind and caring. They took my worries and walked me through everything and found the leak was due to the filter being loose.The staff here has earned my loyalty and I will be there for my future needs!

I went in this morning without an appointment. I was expecting the worst of news of a bad fuel pump. After a quick inspection (free of charge) it wasnt a bad fuel pump after all. It was actually a torn boot in the air intake. I was relieved. They told me it would be an hour 1/2 wait because they had to get the part from Nissan. They had us up and running in 45 minutes. They kept me updated on the status of my vehicle via text message. When I went to pay it was actually $16 cheaper than quoted price. The store manager was very professional, kind, and courteous. Overall experience was awesome. Ill be definitely taking my vehicle back for any other issues. Thanks again! 😊

From the moment I came through the door, I was treated with kindness and care. The staff are very knowledgeable about all aspects of auto care and great at explaining the diagnostics. I am really impressed with the new web-based diagnostic link they sent via text that gives explanations and pictures for all your issues! It provided a clear and concise breakdown of all the problems that needed to be addressed, but there were no pressure sales involved either. I’ll definitely be coming back!

STOLEN ITEM:Car service was fine, exceeded expectations actually. Something came up missing from my driver side car door which I noticed immediately upon getting the car back. Not expensive enough to make a fuss on the scene, but should be noted.

We stopped by to have the battery checked since we have had to charge it a number of times. They checked the alternator and battery, with battery replacement needed. It took 30 minutes in total and we were on our way with a happy car.

The individuals at this location are always friendly and professional. I like the report they text to your phone, even if you just go in for an oil change. They won’t try to sell you something if your vehicle truly doesn’t need it.

I am very skeptical about any car care company. I have a new Cadillac and the Cadillac dealership has already over charged me on two occasions and Ive only had the car for a year. When it came time for me to get new brakes I decided to check reviews of other companies that have a brake repair option. After reading reviews I decided to go with Meineke. Let me tell you i am super pleased. I was in and out in about an hour. The young lady up front was super nice. The manager even checked in with me while I was in the waiting room. They are very transparent with their breakdown of your cars needs. This is the first time I left a place knowing they did not take advantage of me. Im a novice when it comes to car maintenance. So for them to be so open and understanding, I have nothing but high regard for them. Wow. Blown away by this company and their customer service.

When I called and asked how much everything would be, TOTAL.. i was given a certain price. Well they called and said it was gonna be about 200 more than it was. They were trying to add a service I didnt want. There was NO communication between anyone and it was a mess. I did get my brakes and roters done.. but if someone calls and asks for a TOTAL price, they should be given that and not have any other amounts added on. I did end up paying more. But I needed it done my car fixed.

With my limited car knowledge I came in thinking I had a more expensive repair and they informed me it was actually a simpler issue to keep my old car running. They could have charged me triple what I ended up paying and I would have thought nothing of it. That’s true integrity. They are super professional and were always polite even though I have a weird work schedule and was hard to communicate with. I was a 1 star customer and they still gave me 5 star customer service. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Thanks again, if you guys see this review. I really appreciate it!

Both Seth and Kelsey were both professional, but friendly and experts in their field. Mercedes dealership would not touch the car for under $4000, was very snobby and negative. You see Im not a millionaire just a hard working RN who had a vision. In the end Seth had to lay out the cards and tell me with compassion that the car was beyond fixing and only charged me $200. At Mercedes of KC they were blunt and acted like I was from the wrong side of the tracks. And of course they charged me $800 and did no more than Seth did. Chad was my mechanic who worked on my 07 Dodge Ram and was able to detect the problem and make the repairs that were needed my truck runs better now than it did before. I am more than happy I am so pleased with my experience as long as Chad continues to work there I will continue to return. They gave me an oil change and gave me a quote to get my brakes done. They were fast. Not a long wait. I went on Sunday since it was my day off. Not many auto shops are open on Sunday.

I walked in at 5:45pm and they close at 6. The technician did my paperwork, checked out my problem and solved it quickly! Such great service at a fair price

This place destroyed my livelihood I had to delivery job that was very profitable and they told me they could fix my car when in reality they could never fix what was wrong with it unless you have an upstanding knowledge of how to diagnose a car just by driving in it dont come here. This literally affected my life by a lot whether you guys see 30 cars in there or not I dont see why you guys are lying to my face. I spent $5,000 in less than a year and you guys arent going to uphold giving me the free oil changes that you told me you were going to give me? Do not come here unless you want your car to come out worse and you want to end up buying a car sooner

After moving to Overland Park I decided to use Meineke Car Care Center for the general upkeep on my 2001 Honda CRV. Since then I have had a good amount of work done there and have been very satisfied each and every visit. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the front end and mechanics keep you posted every step of the way. I will happily continue to take my car there in the future. They have earned my trust and future business. I very much recommend.

NEVER GO HERE!!!! I went for one problem and they found all these problems I never had and they told me that if I pay the Expensive price I wasn’t gonna have to come back in a long time, and boom... the next day my car has problems in the same are area that they worked on, so I take it there and they don’t wanna assume their problem and they want to charge me a lot of more money. They are probably messing up cars on purpose because they don’t have projects to work on during the quarantine. Really thinking about suing them.

It took over 6 hours to complete an oil change and a “summer tune up.” No one called to tell us our vehicle was done - we only found out because we drove to the business to check on the status of our vehicle (after having called once). Our tires were also not properly installed after the tune up. Overall, I was very disappointed.

Very friendly, fast service. They give a great detailed report of your vehicles overall health too.
