Super helpful, they fixed what I wanted, told me what else I needed repaired and what I could wait on fixing. I took my car there because it was close to work and my employer takes his vehicles there. So often a shop will drum up a huge costly repair and trust me I have had my share of that, it was such a relief to find honest folks who did a good job and did not rip me off. They have a loyal new customer.

Quick and efficientI made an appointment for an oil change in my 2016 F150. Arrived about 15 minutes early was finished 20 minutes later. Supervisor pointed out issues I need to be concerned about. The Auto Solutions team did a great job from start to finish. The scheduling process was easy. Check-in was very straight forward. They called as soon as they found the problem was fixed in one day and at a reasonable price. How I found the place was listening to 95.7 The Hog radio station and great reviews what being told so I thought I get their expertise on my car and I am glad I did. I came in about 1:00 p.m. on a Tuesday and was told I need an appointment to have my vehicle diagnosed. Therefore, I scheduled an appointment on that Thursday, and I was there at 7:00 a.m. with my vehicle and dropped it off. I heard nothing from them for the whole day. Finally about 5:00 p.m. that Thursday I called and asked if they had diagnosed my vehicle. At that time they had not. I stopped in Friday morning 8:00 a.m. and they still had not diagnosed my vehicle. Finally that Friday at 4:00 p.m. I went and picked up my vehicle cuz they had failed to diagnose what was wrong with it or even look at it! How can you have a vehicle for 2 days and not even take a look at it especially when you made an appointment two days prior to bring it in???????

Called Auto Solutions for ABS light. They were able to get me in right away. Diagnosed ABS light as a bad wheel speed sensor (what I was expecting). They were also able to fix leak from my front differential. Since they were already doing a repair they were able to do my front brakes for a very reasonable amount. They were able to help me keep the price down as much as they could. Every mechanic is expensive so you might as well take your car somewhere that you get your money worth and you cant go wrong with Auto Solutions.

I came in with a coupon looking for a new place to have my oil change since Take 5 has doubled since Take 5 bought them. I would prefer getting it changed at Auto Solutions and dont mind getting out of the car and the last time i went to Take 5 it was an hour wait. I also had Russel take my truck in again to ck my ac system and gave me a more hopeful and economic way of fixing it at no charge for checking!!The place is clean, the guy at reception was fantastic and respectful and as a.woman that kind of integrity is important.

Great Place’

The most professional, knowledgeable, and fair auto shop Ive ever visited. John (owner) does an amazing job answering any and all questions, does great work, and always tries his best to give the best price possible for work. As someone who always owns some type of customized vehicle, I look for a shop who understands this and treats it as such! They always go above and beyond and I never worry that the work I receive is done correctly and stays that way! I WILL NOT take my car to any other shop after finding John. Richey Cadillac should send their team of under-trained dummies over to learn a few things from John!!

My elderly father was told that the lock for his wheels were missing. They were last place that used it. My father said they should have put it back in glove compartment. They said it wasnt there and they needed to cut them off for 80 dollars because the tires need to be rotated. They didnt balance the wheels they put up front, so, now the steering wheel hops going down the road. The lock was in the glove compartment right where my father said it was the whole time. So take the car in for an oil change and walk away with an unnecessary high bill, then had to take it somewhere else to get the wheels balanced. Never again. If you are elderly watch out!!

I just moved here from out of state and was having issues with my vehicle....I called Auto Solutions and they were able to get me in the next day and had it diagnosed and fixed within a couple of hours....in the meantime my husband was driving me around in his vehicle and noticed that it was running strange and he called Auto Solutions and they said to bring it right over. We ended up leaving my husbands vehicle and picking up mine and the next morning both vehicles are back to normal and running great!! Everyone here was very professional and knowledgeable. Went in for oil change. Told me brakes were less than 1mm and rotors were bad......not true. Said brake oil was dark.....not true. Tires were in need of replacing....this I knew. My son checked it and even went to my normal mechanic station and got new tires and alignment at my request.Brake oil was clear and brakes had 4mm. Rotors were not warn down or grooved. Auto Solutions I believe was trying to take advantage of me.

No one I know likes paying for big auto repairs. As a person without much knowledge of how my car works, I feel at the mercy of those WITH knowledge. This can (and apologetically did) seriously skew my sensibility when the need for a (long overdue by 60 miles) tune up presented itself just one week after an oil change was done by Auto Solutions. John must have used every ounce of patience he had educating me (respectfully) on the integrity of his mechanics and the diagnosis of my car’s symptoms. I’m smarter now. 😊 He and his mechanics are excellent and my car now runs like new. Auto Solutions of Ormond Beach has a customer for life (if they’ll have me).

My husband and I have had several great experiences with John and his team. I have had 2 major issues (car is hitting 100,000 mil). One was a warranty issue and the manufacturer was not playing nice. John went as far as picking up the phone after sending them faxes and emails to ensure that we got us our money! Secondly, he did not push me to replace my catalytic converter. We discussed our options and shortly thereafter we replaced it and man was he right. My gas mileage has significantly improved and the pick up is back!! But he never pushed, he ensured me that I was safe and when we were ready he did it ASAP. Its honest and good service in a society that needs a little more of it! Thanks John for keeping us safe!

My car needed power steering repair & new battery. Received a bill of $2,100.+ for numerous unauthorized work. Wrote a negative review, “owner” called me, from a BLOCKED NUMBER, asking what he could do to fix the situation. I asked that he refund for the unauthorized work. Long story short, he talked circles around the situation for 40 minutes & NEVER offered 2 reimburse for unauthorized work. This place is “slick”, if you take your vehicle there make sure you tell them to contact you about ANY work BEFORE they do it. They tried to tell me I authorized the work that was NOT related to the power steering problem, complete lie! Beware of this business especially if you are an elderly woman!

Great work for a reasonable price

Told me all 4 brake pads and rotors needed full replacement to the tune of over $800 with a discount. Said rotors were so bad they couldnt be turned. Took my car to the Toyota dealership for 2nd opinion...only front brakes were bad and rotors were turned - Bill was $300. WOW! Was actually thinking of trading my car...it pays to get 2nd opinions.

Drove down from Virginia to visit family and along the way lost the slave cylinder on my manual transmission. Called on my way down and was able to get into the shop early the next morning. My car was fixed by mid afternoon the same day with a free inspection of the rest of the car to make sure everything else was okay with the car. The service was quick and polite. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

Great group of people. Had a brake job done a couple months ago and a rotor warped. They got me in first thing in the morning, replaced both front rotors and had me back on the road in about 35 minutes. No charge!

I brought John my 1989 Ford bronco today to have the a/c fixed after receiving his flyer in the mail. Ive had the truck for 8 years, and its never had a/c. First off, I was a walk in customer with not a lot of time to leave the truck, so I didnt even expect to get it fixed today. John spoke to me about it and never tried to talk over my head about the work he would have to do. He remained professional the whole time. He gave me an estimate I was happy with, and asked if I could leave it for 2 days as nearly the whole system needed replaced. I rearranged my schedule to allow this and got a ride expecting to be without a car for the next day or so. To my surprise, John called six hours later and had it done! It was so fast I was almost confused. The AC works great now and the price was as quoted, with a warranty. I would take any vehicle back to him in a heartbeat!Another note on this, I usually do all my auto repairs myself so I do know a thing or two about working on cars, I just dont have the tools or time to tackle an air conditioner. When I got home I looked around carefully under the hood to make sure everything he said was done was actually done (I was still skeptical at how fast it was) and from what I can tell there was not a corner cut anywhere. Not even a single screw missing! Thats very rare from other shops Ive been to in the past, and this is the only place I would recommend. No BS, and no shady work done at Auto Solutions!

I have a 2011 BMW 135i that had several issues. When I brought it in the dash was lit up like a Christmas tree. They diagnosed my vehicle and called me to explain what was wrong and gave me an honest evaluation along with a fair price. They installed new brakes and rotors, found an oil leak, replaced the gasket and cleaned up the mess. They saw that part of my problem was some bad TPMs and fixed them among other things. I was very surprised how quickly they repaired everything, right before a holiday weekend! When I picked my car up, they were fast and friendly and all my codes were cleared. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

My vehicle is being worked on at this moment. From the moment I spoke with John the owner, I was highly impressed at his professionalism and willingness to listen to my issues regarding my vehicle.The dealership I happen to be dealing with kept my vehicle for two days while I drove a beautiful loaner vehicle HAHA. After two days they found I needed brakes (the whole works) AND said the axle may be going but after two days could not tell me for sure if it was the axle.Basically, if I didnt find Auto Solutions & John/owner I would have paid more than double for my vehicle repairs.My son is a top notch professional mechanic; a Nascar Technical Institute graduate 10 years ago was also employed by a family owned vehicle repair shop for the past 10 years and now works on John Deer Tractors among some of the other largest tractors out there..He received a huge raise in pay and potential to continue to go to the top! He is amazing but lives in NC while I am here in Florida. I will always consult with him first. Greatest shop Ive ever dealt with. My son went to college in Daytona and I was driving him home. His 2000 Toyota 4Runners radiator blew on I95 only 12 miles into our trip home to CA. I Googled radiator shops and I called them. It was late in the day and they referred me to two other places that could possibly help. Those places couldnt so I called back and made arrangements to drop it off. They said they would get to it early in the morning. At 7:05am John called me back. He came in at 6:45am, found out everything was wrong with the radiator, called 3 parts suppliers for the best part and had a price all ready to go. I gave my approval and he got two guys on it and had it ready to drive out of there by 10am.Ive literally told this story 50 times in the last two weeks. John has a great shop...he gave me a 3yr/36month warranty. Awesome service. I usually do my own work and if I lived in the area Id be back. John and Chris both exceeded expectations for any kind of service anywhere...much less an auto repair place. I wouldnt go anywhere else if I lived in FL.UPDATE 3/12/19: I had a problem with the radiator (had nothing to do with the shop or anything...separate problem completely)...Jesse there worked with me and the auto parts supplier to get me a warranty replacement in less than an hour. Here on vacation and had a problem with the blower for the AC. This place was recommended by the guy at the desk of our hotel and it was a great recommendation. The owner took a look at it on very short notice on a Saturday. The problem would not come back and after spending over 45 to make it happen, he wouldnt even charge me for it as he didnt do anything. Above and beyond as I would have it had any problems paying for a diagnostic charge but he wouldnt even accept that. Leaving a 5 star review is the best I can do. Incidentally both the uber driver and the cab driver also indicated they hear good things about this place.

After being quoted $928.00+ tax for an alternator from Honda of Daytona I gave auto solutions a call to see what they could do. Not only did they blow the stealership price away(nearly 50% difference, same parts), my car was fixed the same day in about two hours from when I dropped it off. This my 2nd time coming here for repairs and both times everything was handled right, fast and forgreat value. I will skip right over the dealership from now on and leave my car in their capable hands. Previous I had brakes + rotors done, some transfer case fluid changed and some other little things. The shop waiting area is clean and they also have some coffee if your waiting. Staff was fantastic and kept me up to date during the whole process. No surprises when the bill came, no extra up sells, just reasonable people trying to provide a fair service for a fair price.

Registering my car in FL so I had to switch tags. Bolts frozen could not remove them. Needed to do it ASAP b/c tags had to match the registration. Other franchise places werent sure if they could help, didnt think they had the tools, etc. They probably just didnt want to bother with a small job. John and Chris squeezed me in between appointments and did it with a smile.

John. Chris, and the technicians fixed my Jeep where other two repair shops could not determine what needed to be fixed. To be fair to the other repair shops, the problem was intermittent but, unlike the other shops, the people at Auto Solutions spend the extra time to finally determine the problem and immediately resolved the problem, at a reasonable cost. I will use them again for all my vehicles maintenance.
