Have been going to the Orlando Eye Associates for a very long long time. Every time I go the staff is very friendly and helpful. Both doctors are very pleasant and explains the issues you have and makes sure you understand. I have several eye doctors around where I live, but I will continue going to OEA.

Been going to Dr Carl Gaterbaum and Viviana since 2016 and always had a great experience. Getting my eyes tested including the extra test (that looks T your full eyes for a slight charge over most insurances) is the only way to go. Then when my prescription changed simply go to the front and work with the magnificent Viviana to look my best and explore options to meet my needs. September 16,2019 I was tee-boned in my car driving from my home heading on Apoka Vineland Rd and spent 30 days in the ORMC hospital suffering 7 broken ribs, broke leg right tibea and cut my head open across my convertible rear view mirror. A few days after surgery, I asked my wife Leisa - where are my glasses as I wanted to see the tv. She went back to the accident scene but couldn’t find them. Being an engineer, after my first brain surgery I added a GPS tracker to the stem of the glasses so I decided to try and find them. Sure enough the tracker was active and discovered they were several blocks away at a Catholic Church on Apoka Vineland Rd. Ironically my mother was a devout Roman Catholic (just saying as she been in heaven for many years before that time but did die in Orlando). Maybe there’s a message there? I do believe in God. My wife recovered the glasses and YES, they were so scratched up that they were unwearable but the little GPS tracker was hanging on barley. However, they didn’t shatter or break just badly scratched and twisted from my face breaking the rear view mirror.So as soon as I got discharged from ORMC, I went to see Dr Gaterbaum and he gave me a new prescription so I could work with Viviana to replace my glasses. I even told her because these held up so well, I wanted at least the same quality or better! I recall sharing what happened and showed her the damaged glasses. We got a great new pair that I absolutely love! And I left a very satisfied customer when I picked them up about a few weeks later, I told her I wanted to send a review fir my experience with this eye glass center. I recall writing a resounding review and a few months when getting a few eyeglass pads that fall off, I told Viviana about my review. She thanked me and said she will look for it.This year In 1/26 and 3/19/2021, I went through two brain surgeries (with one more to go in July). I noticed my glasses had a very strange stain in the lens making it difficult to see clearly. So what did I do, I went to see Viviana wearing a blue foamed helmet protecting my head until my next and praying last surgery! She tried to clean the lens and adjust like she has done for me numerous times with great success but thus was not to her satisfaction. She ordered the lens to be repaired and a few weeks ago, I got a call my glasses where ready!! Meanwhile, I had to see to drive, so I brought several older pairs that I also purchased over the years form your office and once again Vivienna worked with me to rigged a pair to wear until I get my lens fixed.When I enthusiastically asked Viviana about the positive review I wrote, she tried to find it but was unable to. So I promised her I would send another and this is longer than the first. I plan to have my eyes examine in the next few weeks with Dr Gaterbaum before my next surgery and feel very confident that my experiences will continue to the best for myself and my wife Leisa. Speaking of my beautiful wife of 38 years, she also enjoys going here to get her eyes tested and Vivienna once again helps Leisa select the best fit for her. Recently she had several options the Viviana helped her select and I appreciate that I was able to stop in to see her options. While she didn’t go with the least expensive pair, she found the pair that she loved and happy wife gives me happy life!As a leader for most of my career in a very large corporation, I know it takes a tremendous team to make it all happen!Sincerely,Jeff Knight

Excellent office with a wonderful staff. Everyone is friendly, they do not rush you, they answer all your questions, and safety is a priority. They have a robust selection of glasses. The glasses are more expensive than other locations, but Im a believer of you get what you pay for. Ive had glasses purchased here last me many years. There is no sales push and if youre not purchasing glasses, its no big deal. Been coming here for years and plan to continue going here for years. Love them, theyre the best!

Great office! Professional, caring, and friendly..They give you the time to ask all your questions without feeling rushed. During Covid “season” they follow the requirements regarding temperature checks, masks, distancing (during exam, impossible), and wiping down all surfaces. If you’re coming with someone who has an appointment and you don’t, you must wait outside.Great experience....if you’re looking, look no further!

First time here today @Orlandoeyeassociates.I love my new eye doctor and his office! Dr. Guzak took his time to make sure the health of my eyes were great, checked for glaucoma, and everything else. He was detailed, caring, and very easy going. The staffs were wonderful and they made the whole process smooth. Jenna and Nicki helped me out. The lady for glasses/sunglasses fitting was nice also. If you want a quality eye exam and glasses, I highly recommend Orlando Eye Associates.  My family and I see both Dr.Gaterbaum and Dr.Guzak and they always take their time and make sure our prescriptions are right.  I am also clueless when it comes to choosing my glasses frames but the optical ladies always give me great recommendations and have been very happy with my glasses.  All of their staff are super friendly, efficient, and excellent.  I will recommend this office to everyone!

Been a patient for years. Gaterbaum was my main eye doctor. Always repeated himself regarding my myopia being bad despite admitting he’s seen a lot worse in plenty of other patients. Dr. Guzak started making judgments upon first meeting me when I saw him one time and started talking about how I seem very concerned/picky about my vision, etc. when I asked him one question. Dude didn’t even know me and spent about 5 minutes with me and started saying that. I’ll put it this way, would you rather just have a patient who didn’t do research and didn’t ask any questions like a robot?
