Have been going here 2 years.Dr Williams is very thorough and answers questions well - this is from standpoint of a customer and a physician. You never please 100% of people all the time, but I found him pleasant & precise. So he is definitely an optometrist I trust.Staff have always been neutral to positive, mostly positive. Have had numerous interactions with multiple staff. Have bought 2 pairs of glasses (regular wear & prescription sunglasses) and been highly satisfied. Have come in for multiple adjustments and minor repairs - no charge. One pair had lens imperfections they sent back to redo at no charge. Took 2 weeks longer but my script was on stronger end so this is not uncommon. Customers need perspective. Ive worn glasses for over 4 decades so I should know.There are only two negatives - they can get very busy because they are popular & do good work; they have some limitations on frame types (no brands with clip on shades). Other than that, this is definitely a solid place for eye glass wear. Cannot comment on contacts because I dont wear them.

Renzo was great very helpful and kind! I had some concerns and he addressed them and reassured me no need to worry.I was hesitant to get uv protection on my glasses because some of them show the blue lighting in the lenses and it looks bad, in my opinion. Renzo informed me I wouldnt need to worry about that and he was right. Whatever visionworks uses for the uv protection is high quality. In addition, the elite glare is worth it. I am having a much easier time driving late at night without the terrible glare.Thanks again!

Gina, Dr Mav and Omar were incredible!! Loved the entire experience and was made to feel so welcome. The office had a last minute cancellation and took me same day. Now leaving in my contacts and feeling happier than ever (in and out in 1 hour between the examand purchase) also offered another way to have my exam without dilating my eyes with the same results! Great doctor, great frames, great contact lenses fit. My daughter and I were seen and out of there in less then an hour. The Dr. Is great. Highly recommend this place for busy pros who want excellent vision care, great RX fit and not want to wait all day. This office is fully staff and ready to assist, I loved my experience.

Do not go here to get your classes you’ll pay $400.00 bucks and they break and these people will tell you they are unfix able just so you can spend more money with them avoid at all cost.

My husband and myself had new glasses from here. We are so very pleased with the staff and the perfect script fitting. Will never have anyone but Vision Works fit us for prescription glasses.

A few weeks ago I popped in to quickly check out some frames and if they had the ones I wanted in stock.Gina was very helpful even though I didn’t have an appointment at the time. She spent time going over things and was very cool.Because of that good experience I wanted to return to the same store and get my glasses there. Gina was again lovely to deal with and helped a lot with everything.Thank you Gina! ☺️

Great experience - the entire staff was very friendly - felt very safe upon entry- they immediately sanitized my hands - provided us clean pens for our paperwork, and cleaned equipment before each use. Dr. Williams had a machine that allowed him to look into my eyes and take 3D pics; then he could see issues not possible with an ordinary eye exam - also gave me great advice for my eye care and what vitamins to take for my eye condition. If you are looking for a first rate team and eye doc, look no further.

This is our second pair of glasses that we purchased from Jason at this store. Jason was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, very patient and a great listener. Visionworks is lucky to have Jason as a team member.Joanna, the manager, was excellent. She followed the proper procedures to keep us safe and secure. Joanna also took the time to make sure our experience at Visionworks was pleasant. We will be back!!

I was having issues with my work Insurance not being active right away so when I rescheduled everyone I spoke with had issues pulling up my information until last week I made an appointment and before I went in I spoke with an absolutely fabulous associate by the name of Enzo Not only was able to pull up information that the last person didnt but he also went as far as pulling up details to my plan to help me pick the right exam to get done. His amazing service didnt and there when it was time for me to pick frames which is a very impossible task for me it was very resourceful, kind, and honest and has sales and assistance. He took out glasses for a pair of frames that originally had sunglasses and them just so I could get the full visual of the frames. Enzo really went above and beyond to help me utilize my vision insurance to the fullest. And I just received a text that my frames are ready a whole week early! Between the excellent service from Enzo and the doctor himself I would highly recommend this location for all of your visual needs! Thank you!! See you tomorrow!

I have no complaint on the stores side but when it comes to the doctor James Williams I can’t say the same. I’ve been a patient of his for 3 years now and I had an eye exam scheduled for 5:20pm and got there only 10 mins late when the wait times for him are more than just 10 minutes. I was the last patient of the day and was late due to work, and he decided not to take me BECAUSE I WAS 10 MINUTES LATE. It’s truly ridiculous and left a horrible taste in my mouth clearly he is not a doctor who cares for his patients eye care. Definitely will be switching doctors and not going back.

Terrible service dr gave me contacts I can’t see out of. I told the Dr that I couldn’t and he said well I guess I will give you what you had before. I had to pay $125 for this moron to do nothing. Stay away from this money grab. Still have no new contacts.

If I could give zero starts I would. I purchased glasses from the 3817 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, Fl location back in November 2020. The sales associate helped me select a pair that would quality for VSP (vision insurance provider I had at the time) rebates available at that particular time. I promptly submitted my rebate information by mail. On December 10th 2020 I received an email from VSP to inform me that I was missing some information. I called and spoke to somebody at VSP who looked at what I submitted and insured me that it was actually all correct and valid. The associate said they would re-submit it and I should expect my refund with in the allotted time. It is now January 18th 2021 and I have not received my rebate so I called VSP again. The associate I spoke to this time told me that the rebate I was submitting for actually ended in September 2020, long before I even purchased my glasses, and the lenses and frames that I purchased do not qualify for the current rebate program. Therefore I will not be receiving a rebate.I cant believe Vision works hires employees that are not competent enough to know what the current rebate program is. Insurance benefits and rebate requirements can be very confusing sometimes which is why consumers depend on the employees to understand and translate how everything will work. I would have selected a different pair of lenses and frames had I known I would not have qualified for the rebate. My insurance covered me 100% for particular sets but I splurged and spent the extra $50 knowing it would be reimbursed to me via the rebate. I do take partial responsibility for not reviewing the rebate packet info more thoroughly however it was not even given to me until I already purchased the glasses and I doubt I would have even been able to change my selection at that point. I will never return to this facility again as I do not trust the employees or the companys core goals if they are hiring such incompetent personnel.I will be writing a review for VSP as well as they led me to believe the info I sent was valid when in fact it was not. If there was any chance to rectify this, their lack or reviewing skills has caused me to miss that chance.

On July the 14th, my wife and I went to the Colonial store to get optometrist exam and new lenses and the guy in the reception boot told us (in a very bad attitude) that medicare insurances are not accepted there.

Had problems with 2 pairs of glasses (manufacturer defects) and the employees went above and beyond to make it right. First class establishment and they will definitely have my future business!

We could not have been more disrespected.When appointment was scheduled 2 weeks in advance, all information was provided; however, after waiting for more than 30 min inside the facility, the attendant informed they did not accept CIGNA. Not only this company has no regard for the customer, but also the attendants have no respect for customers as people that have responsibilities and must squeeze this in their week. Not even an apology was heard for the inconvenience.A call to inform could have prevented all this dissatisfaction.I am only one, but you will never ever have my business again. I hope the marked takes care of your terrible service and allow only the good providers to flourish.

The eye Doc and exam professional + pleasant. Called to set appt to pick up my prescription glasses. Mid- afternoon Friday 9.25.2020 I was waiting for someone to pickup the phone after dutifully going thru the phone menu. I waited over 7 minutes then hung up. I found an 800# and waited for someone to pickup for over 11 minutes then gave up!!! Fix you phone answering system. Very poor customer service. I was more than patient!

Dr was very good, and the staff that helped with picking out my new glasses were very good also, definitely recommend this vision works on East Colonial.

I was in for new glasses and sunglasses and the process was a great experience from start to finish. Jason helped me to find the perfect frames and was very patient with me - when we realized I would need a new prescription he went above and beyond and helped me to get in with the optometrist as a walk in. Melissa working the front desk with the optometrist was so pleasant and proficient and Dr. Williams was very personable and really took his time with me. I’ll be going back for all of my eye care needs in the future!

On Feb 8,2019 I walked into this office just to ask a question regarding the buy-one-get-one. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with such pleasantries. The employee who provided above excellent service was Zeb. He answered all my questions without any hesitation. Help me to choose my glasses in a friendly manner. He also acquired an appointment for me on the same day with the Optometrist which was awesome. Great customer service.

We decided to visit this location after a not so great experience at another Visionworks. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. Zeb helped us once we picked out our frames and he was so wonderful to work with! He was so helpful and accommodating. He took the time to figure out the best deal for us with insurance and without, and he explained the benefits of adding on certain options, all while having to man the phone and others walking in to pick up their glasses/contacts. He is definitely an asset to the team, and we will definitely be back!

The service the person that answers the phone had a really bad attitude.I was running late to my appointment and I called to tell them that I was running late and they had just canceled it and we kinda rude about it .They had horrible customer service..I a hundred percent don’t recommend going there if you love good customer service!

Dr. Williams was punctual and detail oriented. He took time to explain things and answered all of my questions thoroughly. In fact, I was so pleased with my visit that I recommended him to my family and friends. I wish Dr. Williams could be my general practitioner as well. He did a truly outstanding job.

I recently walked in to get a new pair of prescription sunglasses however it had been many years since I had an eye exam. The manager Joanna was able to get me an appointment with the doctor that same day. The doctor and staff were extremely amazing and helpful. I have since gone back to get a regular pair of glasses and again I was given exceptional service. I highly recommend this Visionworks location.

This office has been the best experience yet, Joana and her team are amazing, for them you are a pacient and the go the extra mile to make sure that the service has been excellent and they had fulfilled your needs. I have a really high astigmatism that makes it almost impossible to have daily contacts, the Dr. and the Store Manager had worked with me to make sure I can find the perfect fit. I have no words to explain how amazing they have been . If you are looking for great Dr, amazing staff and beautiful frames at a good price look no further.

I accidentally stepped on my glasses and pretty much broke them, both lenses came out. My wife took them back to Vision Works and they were able to fix them the same day no charge. Great job. This is the only store I go to, thanks again.

I was in Florida visiting family and mentioned that I needed an eye exam. My sister immediately told me about Dr. Williams. I thought she was a little silly about me seeing an optometrist on my vacation but it was well worth my time. Maria the receptionist was sure to roll her eyes as soon as I walked into the shop. She was short, rude, and treated me like an idiot when I asked her to break down the costs for an eye exam. she refused to provide me a total price, only a range within which it might fall 100-200 despite the fact that i was told it would be under 100 on the phone.That being said, the doctor was wonderful and nice and did a good job.

I walked in and I wasnt really sure what my insurance was they were very helpful gave me all the information I needed even book my appointment for that day. They answered all my questions. Chris was very helpful the doctor was very nice the staff was just excellent the place was nice and clean overall a really great experience!

I came today to have my grandfathers glasses adjusted because it was not adjusted from the beginning. My grandfather was not greeted. He payed a lot of money and can not wear his glasses because they can not be adjusted properly. The workers were chatting in front of us and refused to properly greet us. Than when the lady asked Jason to help him adjust the glasses he stared at her like if she was asking to do something outside of his job. Also when we walked in my grandfather needed tape to be removed and was told there was no sciors. I asked someone else and Magically there were sciors. Treating elderly poorly sending them off with glasses that are not adjusted properly is poor poor customer service.

If store hours are posted as closing at 8:00 pm on both your website AND on the front door of the building don’t lock up, turn out all the lights, and vacate the office entirely at 7:00 pm.

I do understand the covid-19 situation but it is the worst costumer service, I drove 40 min to came to this one since I really liked the frames that they have, but the worst service ever!!!

Got to location at 630(they close at 7) came from Waterford Lakes because this location took my insurance and Waterford didnt(weird) staff was rude. Wanted to charge $280 for basic progressive lenses that was only $130 at optical outlets then as soon as 7PM came the lady says were closed. Do you want to buy anything? We just walked out. Waste of time and gas.

I am so impressed with this place, especially Dr. Williams. I have never had glasses or contacts, so I was super unsure about eye exams and such. I did have an eye injury that was extremely painful and needed to be taken care of right away. The super friendly staff got me in to see Dr. Williams the same day I called. When I arrived, I had a very minimal wait. The doc made me feel comfortable and relieved during the exam while I was emotional and in a lot of pain. The follow up visit was super quick and convienient as well. I am so thankful I went to this place instead of a walk in clinic for this eye injury and would definitely recommend Visionworks and Dr. Williams to anyone for their vision needs.

Ive been going to this Visionworks for years. Why? Because the optometrists always get the prescription for my glasses perfect, and the opticians always make sure the glasses themselves are perfect - no break in time for new glasses, with the associated headaches and dizziness. I just put them on and all is well. If youre not happy theyll fix it so you are. Once I decided to try trifocles instead of my usual progressive lenses, and I was miserable. Went back to Visionworks and they made my progressives no problem at all. A great group there and not a lot of turnover in personnel, which says a lot about a place. I highly recommend this Visionworks!

Based on more than 8 years of experience with purchasing MANY pairs of glasses (and replacement lenses) at this facility, I can say without question that the quality of care and level of service is the highest in the industry.My visual demands are extreme (tri-focals, bi-focals, and single-vision, special-purpose prescriptions with clear and tinted lenses), and I am very difficult to fit with each pair of glasses; Nonetheless, I am always greeted most pleasantly by all of the staff (Joanna, Wanda, and Jason) who serve all of my visual needs, and I always leave feeling like I am the most important patient they have. Because of their high quality frames, lenses, and services, I convinced my mother and my wife to use this facility. They, too, have been very satisfied with all of the goods and services provided here, including those of Dr. Williams. Though I have moved my residence several times in the years I have been served here, I keep coming back (now more than a 45-minute drive) because it is such a pleasure to engage with these staff and I know my glasses will be of the highest quality possible. I highly recommend this Visionworks location--they really know how to run a great business for the maximum benefit of the customer.
