Doctor was super knowledgeable and helpful, he was also funny and made the eye exam not so boring as they have been with other doctors in the past. Staff is super friendly and accommodating and made the overall experience a good one. Will definitely be returning here for all of my future eye exams.

Came here after a fleck of rust got stuck on my eye, it had been then all night and nothing I did would get it out. The doc removed it and drilled a small hole to make sure there was no rust left behind. Thanks for the help guys.

Had an eye exam several weeks ago. Went somewhere else to get new glasses. When the glasses came in, I couldnt see anything clearly and objects in the distance were so blurry, I almost saw doubles. New glasses were checked and they matched the prescription I received from Dr. Yips office. Paid $90 to get a new eye exam at a different location. My prescription from this place was WAY off. Staff was great, but I will not go here again, nor will I recommend this facility.

My previous eye doctor of over 20 years passed away, so I had to find my family a new one. Dr. Yip was found through my insurance, so I thought I would give him a try. The staff is friendly and courteous. My daughter’s eye glasses got lost so they gave us a call to let us know the status and why it’s been taking so long. The office is clean and organized. I was told that I would get a rebate and was quoted a specific amount, but when I went to fill it out, it was for less. Other than that, I like Dr. Yip. He’s very knowledgeable and also teaches us about our eyes and conditions along with how we can care for them.UPDATE: My daughter’s glasses are STILL, lost 3 months later. My husband and I tried to resolve this and the staff said they can’t get a hold of the factory who makes the glasses. I called my insurance and they called the doctor’s office to help them get into their portal. I still have not heard back. I politely called the other day to get an update, making sure not to bring up my previous frustrations and they said I would get a call back in 24 hours. It has been 36 hours and still no call back. Their solution was for us to use their factory and we can get a discount. WHAT?! I’m not paying for insurance for NOTHING.

Extremely recommend this place. Walked in and was nicely greeted immediately and not even one minute later, I was taken into the exam room. I was recently on vacation in Lake Buena Vista, when a recurring tear in my Cornea re-opened unfortunately leaving me in a lot of discomfort and scrambling for where to turn. My fiance searched the Orlando area for a Professional Emergency Eye Care facility and came across Dr. Yips office. Once their office opened I spoke to very friendly staff explaining the injury. They immediately got me on their schedule approximately 2hrs from the time I was on the phone with them. Not knowing the area I arrived about a half hour early and after some brief paperwork was taken back right away for an exam. I then saw Dr Yip, very nice, concerned, attentive, and very knowledgeable about my issue. After some relief drops, exam and the placement of a contact lense bandage, paid a very reasonable co-pay and was on my way, feeling better and was able enjoy another full week of vacation without problems! Dr. Yip and his team helped me see again. For years i always had issues with my eye prescription not being exactly right causing headaches and eye issues. Dr. Yip is the best at what he does. I can see clearly now and have not had a head ache in weeks. His team helped me pick out a great pair of glasses that for the first time in years. Glasses that I wore for an entire evening out. With having high power lenses it made wearing glasses such a pain. My new glasses are light weight and there is very little curvature towards the outside making them comfortable to wear. I have been a patient for over two years. He has great understanding how the eyes work and really educates you when you’re there. He is very thorough and understands how eyes change as we age. Very professional. The Staff are all great as well as his in-house Optician Sury. Sury is also VERY knowledgeable and experienced in fitting glasses and she really understands how some frames and lenses are better suited for different facial features. I highly recommend Dr Yip & Associates!
