Honestly, I was VERY hesitant to take my car in for an oil change as I have only taken it to the dealership in the past. But, the dealership couldnt get me in and I didnt want to go on my road trip without first getting one done. Jack was AMAZING from the moment I entered the door. For some reason my appointment was not showing on their end. He understood my dilemma and squeezed me in as they had an opening. The job was done in a very timely manner. The waiting area was clean and social distancing cues still in place. My Son and I were outta in no time and able to get on the road for our trip. Jack was very accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable. I left there feeling at peace with my decision and their service. Thank you very much Jack!!

My car needed oil change so I stopped by and got it done here I have never been here before . I was on vacation visiting from Miramar fl this place is the best place excellent customer service great price and very experience guys working here

When my cars breaks started locking up on a Friday at 4pm, I searched for shop that could get me in quickly and complete the repairs over the weekend. Jay immediately worked me in, diagnosed the problem, called me with options and suggestions letting me know what was an immediate safety concern versus which repairs could wait until next pay-day. He also went for a test drive with me to make sure all my concerns were addressed before leaving. This Midas location went above and beyond to help get me back on the road and driving safely before work Monday morning. Definitely recommend!

The customer service was old school style. The manager diagnosed my exhaust problem and provided me a detailed summary in terms I could understand. He also provided an alternative choice; which I like because it gives me options. Once I made my decision, his team got to work and I as out within an hour. The price was affordable for the work being done and the manager guaranteed the work, which showed me he was confident in his team’s skills. Midas will definitely get repeat visits from me.

My rear brake lights went out. It turned out to be expensive. The day of repair was unfriendly. I had to find the mechanic. And when he was done called out my last name for me to get my car. No “ thank you for using Midas”etc. I guess he did a good job, but I would not now. I would have liked to have tested my brake lights before I left. You cannot check brake lights when you’re behind the wheel. The mechanic disappeared. I would assume the job was well done.

Came in for an oil change and inspection found issue with rear brakes and they took care of it by replacing rotors and pads. Pads with lifetime warranty. Because it took parts quite a while to come they also gave me a coupon for a free oil change. Id use them again.

Jay, was very helpful he drove the vehicle with me with him, he is an honest person not like some of those other car repair shops. I would recommend Midas Service and Tires to anyone.

I was happy with the service I received and customer service was wonderful!

I went in to have my brakes checked and was told I needed new brake pads. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable I was also told I needed new rotors but will do that next month. What I liked about the service is that they not only tell you what the issue is but they actually show you what the issue is so I know I am not being tricked into getting something I don’t need. Two days later I returned to get a new battery because the one I had was giving out. Again the service was excellent I will now take my business to the Myers for all my car needs.

My private mechanic did a brake job. He accidentally had one brake pad positioned wrong. This caused a grinding sound. Since I had to go out of town, I stopped at this location last minute. They quoted me $850 to get new pads, new rotors, etc. even though I had new pads and my rotors were fine. It ended up costing me $30 for a mechanic to simply turn the brake pad around. A simple fix. I’ll never go here again as I feel like they were simply trying to take advantage of a woman. The one good thing about this experience was I got a free inspection

Ive seen them give sound advice and great service to not just me, but many customers. They seem to be real relational and go beyond the normal expected level of service. For example they offered not just free oil changes during covid but they also offered complimentary uber free of charge to any part of Orlando I needed to travel to-on more tha n one ocassions. I’ve always been hesitant to take my car to “car places” to get them worked on because most seem more interested in getting your money than fixing your car. Jay and Midas in Pine Hills were different. I ordered the wrong tires when I did my online order and they returned them to their warehouse and got me a comparable tire at the same price in the right size. They went out of their way to send one of their employees to the auto part shop to price out getting my lug nuts replaced and didn’t change me anything more than the price of the tires. They set me an appointment to look at my brakes at no additional cost and set me up with a free oil change as well. I was blown away at the service I got from this place and 1000% will be taking my car back here anytime it needs work done.

I brought my s550 Benz to get service and repair because my belt and water pump had to be replace and the replace the items however didn’t put the new water pump in my car correctly and due to there negligence I almost got into a bad accident on the hwy . The piece that connects from the water pump to the radiator was not on the car correctly so my motor was almost blown and My car immediately started to over heat .... it’s like they took my money and rigged my car however this happen on Saturday and they were closed on Sunday and Monday. So I had to get a hotel room until they open back up on Tuesday. However first thing Monday morning I had my car towed to another Midas location and they immediately identified the problem ..... I highly recommend that if anybody get their car worked on their to double check and watch the mechanic as they work because they will do a half job at this location...

Its Saturday 2pm, I did not have an appointment but I had called before arriving. The bays were packed with vehicles and I was greeted by the manager who didnt give me the warm and fuzzies right off but turned out to be a very pleasant and honest man. I really appreciated the fact that he wasnt the type of person that wants to sale a woman unnecessary repairs. My car runs so much better and was really attended to vs a 15min or less job. Anyways, the manager thanked me for my patience as I left. Im definitely going back. Thank you Midas and technicians; you guys work hard💯

Horrific experience! I had to leave my car over night to get fixed. My inside leather seat was tore up. General manager called me back and states I will fix your seat because I know it was our fault. The same thing happened to my car. I asked what happened ? General Manager states We have a huge problem with Rodents. You had a rat in your car. I was freaking out! I was scared to death the rat was still in my car! I was going through some serious stress every time I got in my car. Stress that I should never have been under. If you have a rat problem get this problem under control before you open for business. They definitely shouldnt be keeping cars over night! This place should be shut down! Beware is all I have to say! I had such a hard time getting my seat fixed. I had to contact Corporate for assistance. The General Manager Jay was arrogant and he had no compassion for my situation .

Stay away from this place. Very bad service. The guy in the front thinks he’s the owner and treats everybody like they owe him anything. I got a membership for 4 free oil change and specifically asked if i could bring my own oil and of course, whoever sell me that, said I wouldn’t have no problem. Long story short, every single time i go to the store this short guy gives me a hard time and attitude to do my oil change because obviously he wants to charge me more. They need to stop lying to people to get their money and do what they are paid for.

Was quoted one price on the phone and then was told something extremely different once I showed up for service. I guess they allow customers to answer phone calls. I was pretty much called a liar when I showed up for service.

When they replaced management last year, things went downhill. The service folks forgot to replace the plastic tire caps I had on my tires. When they changed the oil of the car, the repair person left the incabin filter on the floor. I have since started going to Valvoline. Faster service.

Been going here for years. They know me and my cars by now haha. They always try to help out however they can, if they know the price will be high. They give you everything straight forward and dont cut corners. Thats all I can ask for!

Awful,Whoever I just spoke to, Mike I think, would not give me a price on swapping out a starter. All I wanted to know was 2 simple things:1.) Will you swap out a starter if I already have it?2.) How much would that be?Question 1 was never really answeredQuestion 2 was a series of misleading statements that all ended in you have to bring it in, we have to look at it, then we can make up a price. He couldnt tell me how much it would normally be. He seemed to make up the rate of $100/hr, but even so, if that is the rate, just say it. Whats the big deal, why so mysterious? He said he would look what a Normal job for replacing a starter would be, never did. Just kept saying to bring it inAfter all that, no thanks.To everyone else considering, dont waste your time

I came in the day before yesterday (Thurs) regarding an oil change. They were all filled up. The front desk guy wanted to schedule me an appointment for the next day (Fri). I couldnt do it because I was working a double for my job. I asked about Sat (today) and was told to come in by 8a and good luck. I returned today before 8a just to go right back home without my oil changed. They told me the oil change wait time was an hr to an hr and 10 mins (standard, supposedly). That was not the problem. I told them to go ahead because Im over my mileage and my low oil pressure light has been coming on. The front desk person asked again about my low oil pressure light being on and I said yes (even though at that time it wasnt). I was refused service due to a company policy that they cant do oil changes on cars that have the oil can light on or the low oil pressure light on. I call b.s. Ive been there prior with the same issue before and had oil changes... Now, its a problem. I had been going here for well over a yr for oil changes. I made a blank trip for nothing. NEVER AGAIN. I will no longer be using Midas ever again(.)

Misleading offeres on oil change

I bought a voucher pack from a sales rep and read the terms and conditions of it, understood that if I had the voucher I would get discounted rate for the oil change. Instead what I get is $8 off and a charge of $52 and some change. In the area I could get a full synthetic deal for 49.99 through groupon 59.99 for walk-in. Basically what it is, is that its a scam for anyone whos car runs with synthetic type oil. Lesson learned and note to anyone go to groupon before trying to walk into a place like this.

We took our vehicle in to have wheel bearings replaced. Left the shop sensors going off and still not driving correctly. Wont bore you with the details. Ended up taking it to a ford dealership, they installed the wheel bearings backwards. Please beware!! This is a safety issue and someone could have been seriously hurt!!!

Went here because my car would only start if a certain tool was used to jump start it the would not work after turned off. Found out it was the alternator and said it would be 1,000 dollars. After being there for hours on the phone with multiple people telling me that was ridiculous, he said he could bring it down to ~700. Which was still just a tad too high. I was ready to leave when he finally gave me the price I was looking for at ~550. When I told him I could get a battery for $60 he said hed pay for it if I found one for that price and when I did he said he thought my Jeep was a different car with a much more expensive battery... The worker, Tony, even stopped working on my car for a little to laugh with his other colleagues in a van full of supplies which kept me there even longer. Plus this is all in a kinda sketchy place so needless to say, unless youre a regular here. Stay away.

My experience with Midas was phenomenal from the beggining to the end was treated like family and their work and knowledge of cars is beyond words!

Time management is worst and manager has so much attitude, they did not give me proper full report of wheel alignment so god knows they even did it or not and charged high prices, do not check vehicle completely before they give back to customer, and worst service. never go here, manager mike just look smart and talk nicely but will do worst possible with your car, I wrote to corporate, but I was completely disappointed with service and not satisfied with this location...never go to this location.

Did a Carco inspection here. Service was quick, easy, and friendly. Other shops were overbooked or would not offer to inspect on a weekend.

Wow I just moved here and this place has some bad reviews and thats ok most places do no one is perfect but the owner is like a child. Look at all the reviews he post back like a upset child putting customers to shame. No need to retaliate your customers just apologize right or wrong and be the bigger person.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IM SERIOUS!!!! Wow all I can say are the reviews are true. And if you mention them to the manager he will laugh and tell you he doesnt care. We went for a simple ac check just to make sure everything was ok for the simmer. A CHECK. Everything was fine before we got there when we left nothing worked then they including the manager blatantly lied about everything and then bragged about how they didnt need our business because hes going to make money no matter what and that we should get out of his store. We reported it to corporate so hopefully things will change and that manager and his rude mechanic will be employed elsewhere because they truly are giving the midas brand a terrible name.

I took my car here to see what the trouble was with it. They told me it was a catalytic converter. They told me it was going to cost almost $1,000 to have it replaced. They wanted to charge $700 for the part. They said I would get a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty if I did the work with them Yet I went to OReilly Auto Parts and the catalatic converter for $300. It has a 5 year warranty. And I have a mechanic charging $150 to put it in. That saved me $550 versus doing it at this Midas. Not saying Midas is bad but they are extremely expensive. And warranty isnt even good. And an update. The catalytic converter is not the problem. Woke up to goto the store and its still doing the same thing. So now, the 90 dollars I spent on the diagnostic was wasted and Midas told me the wrong thing. So if I would have spent 1000 with Midas, I would be out 1000 and the car still bad.

They did a great job

I have been to this midas location a handful of times over the past two years. The shop receptionist (mike?) took over management from the previous guy (chris?) about a year ago. Since then its been all bad news. I waited in the lobby for eight hours one day for a complete brake job and listened to them rip off customer after customer. The final straw that pushed me to write this review: mike just tried to tell me he drives the same car as me and that I dont have any lower engine mounts, even though Im holding a pair in my hand and have pictures of the bad ones on my vehicle. I dont need someone who knows less about cars than me to work on my daily transportation!

Went to get a oil change and a few other things...Left and went to eat under my hood started smoking, I figured it was just a little wasted oil..Today I drive and its smoking again and the smell is awful, I look under the hood and there is split oil all over and soaked into to top of my hood..Took it back and the man tried to act like he didnt see any oil..Needless to say never going back to Midas

Do yourself a favor if youre coming here turn around and find a reputable auto mechanic, ... They aint trustworthy.
