This is a GREAT Facility. Definitely go and see Sierra! β™₯️I came in for an oil change.While they are working on your car, they send you a link to a video of the technician going over your car and showing you your entire car, and where there are areas that need to either be fixed, or are up or close to needing a new battery, breaks or tires, etc.This was the first time I have ever seen this done before. I LOVED IT! My wife and I went to get a new car and we had an awesome experience! The whole thing took about 4 hours which is way faster than any other dealership Ive been to. Ask for Josh and Jacob to help you out when getting a car. They were so helpful. They also admitted to not knowing something and then they would quickly find out more information about it. I find this more helpful than having a salesman simply lie or guess about something. Josh even went to another Ken Garff dealership and got the car we wanted for us to try out. They also worked with our budget and found ways to help us get exactly what we wanted. If you are looking for a new car then I recommend you come here.

It was great! It took as long as they said it would and no longer. They were very friendly!The part I loved the most is that you can request them to send a video of what they’re doing, so you know exactly what’s being done and what’s recommend. I called to schedule a time to have a specific plastic exterior panel replaced. They scheduled me and I asked to do an oil change as well. When I arrived, they had to order the part so were not able to replace it. It was a waste of a trip, so I would have to return (I do not live close). They also told me it would be an hour to an hour 15 min for the oil change. I did not leave for more than 2 hours later. Extremely frustrating and poor customer experience. If there were a different Nissan dealer in my area I would absolutely go there instead.

I was a huge fan of this place. I bought my last couple of cars from them. I don’t know what has happened, but I will never go back. I dropped my car off Thursday night for an appointment at 7:30 AM on Friday. I heard nothing from them. I called Saturday at about 10:30. I was told they hadn’t started and that they were short handed. Okay a little communication was too much to ask. I am then told that to look at the shimmy they would have to do a $125 diagnostic. I was not told that when I scheduled the appointment a week prior as we talked about it being under warranty. I am then told they already did the diagnostic and I need to pay for the techs time. In the end I am told the tires are bad and I need new tires. What great service!!! Don’t do anything on time, don’t communicate anything, perform a bogus service and then charge the customer. I get calls weekly about trading in my car and was considering it. However they lost any chance of me ever using or buying from their dealership again.

Can I leave 0 stars? I made an appointment to have my car reprogrammed with a fob. Had my car towed to the Ken Garff Nissan dealer on my own dime the day before the appointment. The morning of the appointment, I called to confirm that they knew the car was there. They acknowledge it and said they would get it going. I showed up 2 hours after my appointment and they said they had never checked the vehicle in. So then they checked it in but said that they didn’t have the part. We waited while they made a key for it and rescheduled to have the fob programmed the following week. That appointment was today. We showed up and got the vehicle checked in. The service employee said he would come and let us know how everything was going but that it should take an hour. Two hours passed with no word. My husband went out to see what was happening and found the car still sitting in the spot where we had parked it. Technicians were pulling other vehicles from outside around our vehicle. So, we got a refund for the service that never happened and will never use this Nissan dealer again. An hour long job that was prescheduled 2 times and no one could be bothered to earn our money. Save yourself time and try a different Nissan dealer or even and independent mechanic.

I went in to get my car an oil change and I ended up waiting in line to talk to someone for 10 minutes before I was even able to talk to someone. I dont know if the kids was new or what but he didnt acknowledge me when I got to the front of the line. After a few more minutes of waiting he finally got to me. Took my keys and said that theyd let me know when it was done, and send me video updates of my cars progress. I got a video link to someone speaking incoherently about my car as they walked around it and pointed. I have absolutely no idea what they said. 30 minutes later they still hasnt contacted me. So I went in. The same kid was there who helped me before, and he was the only associate, so I went up to him. He didnt acknowledge me. Didnt even look at me. This time there were no other customers there. He looked busy so I tried to be patient. Then he picked up the phone and started making a phone call. Still not even looking at or acknowledging me. I kept waiting. Another guy finally came in after approximately 6 minutes of me waiting and helped me. This guy was polite and helpful, and quickly flipped through the paperwork and told me that I should have done a transmission fluid change, but I could do it next time, and my tires are wearing. He gave me my keys and I left. I looked through the paperwork when I got back to my car and it says that my tires are no good, and my front brakes need to be replaced and that I need to do a transmission, brake, and power steering fluid changes. They did change my oil well so they got some stars from me, but the customer service was severely lacking.Update: I wrote this review and they replied with the generic let us make it better comment. I reached out to them and never heard back.

I can’t say enough how great my experience was. It started with Aspen, likely Nissans greatest sales rep. She was the absolute best to work with. Great communication! Then it moved to Mollie in finance. Mollie is an all around pro and genuinely wanted what was best for me. It ended with Mike setting up delivery since I’m out of state. Mike was easy to talk to and got the job done quickly. Thanks you Ken Garff Nissan of Orem!

My car didn’t have any issues until I brought it the Nissan in Orem. The engine light wasn’t on before my appointment or had any issues. After my appointment the engine light suddenly goes on and they fail my car for emissions, when the car is safe because it has been driven less than 1000 Milles and mileage overall in my car isn’t that much. Be aware of this scam.

DONT EVER FINANCE ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE. Our car was paid off in July and they have yet to send me a reimbursement check that I am owed. It’s not 20 to 50 dollars. We are talking a good amount of money that I could use to care for my kids. They are horrible and only give you the run around. They never answer the calls and all they say is they are waiting for monthly statements. Yea that was 2 months ago.. I’m looking into legal advice now. If anyone reading this knows any good lawyer please let me know. Horrible place

My wife went in for a scheduled appointment for an oil change and to get a recall notice taken care of. She was quite bothered by the fact that she showed up 10 minutes early and waited 20 minutes at a service center desk before getting help. She stood there while others were helped before her. She couldnt help feeling that it was because she was Hispanic that she was being ignored. She finally got checked in and it took just over an hour for the oil change and a simple hood latch/lock replacement. I was disappointed to hear how she was treated as well. Ive just given an overall review without getting into specifics. Just do better.

I have always had good customer service with Ken Garff Nissan in Orem. However, this last time was very disappointing. When I arrived for my first appointment, the guy told me I was looking at about 3 hrs maybe even a little longer. So I left because I shouldnt have to wait that long for an oil change and emissions test. When I went the second time, I was told about an hour once my vehicle was brought to the back. Two and a half hours later, I finally was able to leave. The guy helping me was not very professional and did not seem to know exactly what he was doing. It is unfortunate that I had a bad experience. And they are still not cleaning vehicles. That was one of my favorite things about going there before covid. I hope my next experience is better because I have one more oil change with the package they offer. If it is a similar experience, I will have to go somewhere else.

I have had a front end radar problem for about two years. At the first of this year repairs were made and with a new radar system that was going to be the best repair as the radar systems prior to 2018 had a reputation of now working correctly. a new one was installed and with some help from Nissan company for a total cost of about $1780.00 which worked beautiful for about two months, some time in April of this year. I ask if the service department could check it out and their response was I would have to make another appointment sometime in the future. Maybe two or three weeks in the future. I dont know about how warranty works in this matter but am not very pleased with the new installation and lag time to check the new installation. Maybe some time next year would be the right time for you.RegardsClyde H. Gabbitas

I thought Ken Garff was supposed to hear me! Boy was I wrong. They wouldn’t even listen to me! In fact they will probably respond to this message with a copy and pasted message like they do to everyone who leaves a bad review. And there are lots of bad reviews because this place is terrible!!I took my car in to have the transmission looked at and it took them 3 weeks to get it back to me. They couldn’t resolve that problem and they broke my sun visor!!!! I wasn’t the one to pick it up but I called them the next day and whoever was on the phone said β€œthat’s unacceptable that we broke your sun visor. Let me call my manager and we will settle this. I’ll call you back.” I didn’t hear anything for a day and so I called back and nothing! I repeated this process a few times before I just gave up trying to have them fix or get resolve by what they broke. I’m very frustrated with them not resolving my first problem and creating a new one!!!

Terrible communication. Received a text at 11am that it would take 4 hours to fix the problem. Texted them back but they never responded. Had to call multiple times to find out if my car was ready. When I finally got a hold of someone they said my car would be ready at 5:10. When I arrived at 5:10, they said they hadnt fixed the problem because it would take 4 hours. I asked what they had been doing with the car for the last 6 hours and they had no answer. So I have to bring the car in another day.

I wanted to reach out about the quality of the service I received from Reed today. I will start by him telling me how long it was going to be fix my car also him telling me he is a master mechanic and wanted to take a ride with me so he can tell me what I’ve already told him. Than what is the point of having a appointment if your not going to look at the car until you’re ready for it, this is not the way to handle business with customers that have been doing business with your company for a while. No customer should have to sit there all day! I got there at 8:30 am and didn’t get out of their until 5:30 pm, this makes no sense. Than he would not give me my keys until he was ready for me to have them. If it was going to take all day someone should have come to me and let me know what is going on with the vehicle. That didn’t happen one time and I never received an update on the progress, Until I asked them about my vehicle which was at2 30. l will also be reaching out to your owner of the dealership and make him aware that Reed, is not professional at his job.

When I called to schedule my appt they were accommodating and able to get me in an hours time. When I got there they were busy and I was told about 1.15 min. After an 1.45 min I checked on my car and they hadn’t even started. In the end it took over 3 hours to get a simple oil change. In the past I have always had a great experience and never have I waited this long. I’m hoping this was just one time that the service wasn’t the greatest and plan to go back and hope for the a better experience in the future.

Lost their ways - no ownership for their own faults, lacking in customer service and starting to question their integrity.I have been bringing my 2012 Titan here for service for several years. Always good service and never had any issues. But this has all changed in the past year.Last September I brought my newer Titan XD in for service. I scheduled online ahead of time to minimize my wait time, as I scheduled an alignment as well. I still waited for nearly 2 hours for an oil change and alignment. Also, I had to get three things replaced under warranty, but they needed to order those in. After my two hour wait, which didnt seem too bad for both services, they never even did an alignment on the vehicle. I had to take it to a different shop the next day to prep for a road trip.I never heard back from them regarding the three parts we needed to replace under warranty.Most recent visit last month, I asked why I never heard back from them regarding the parts. They had the wrong contact information in for my truck and was trying to reach another customer. When I asked them to update the information and re-order the parts, they would not as it is now out of warranty. They told me I had to work with Nissan Consumer Affairs for anything moving forward. I asked if they would call on my behalf, but took zero ownership on their faults. Also, with the recent visit, all of a sudden needed an alignment again per their checks. When I drove home, my truck felt like it was pulling to the right once again. I am not sure if they messed with the alignment, or if it just needed to be adjusted again, but my overall experience has made me question even this issue and their integrity.Overall, they have lost their customer service, they do not take ownership when they are at fault and I have started to question their integrity. The one place I trusted taking my truck, I no longer trust.

Technicians here are great! πŸ‘ But this last visit to get our car service wasn’t impressed😒. we arrived at 8am the hours wasn’t busy, noticed only two paper works on table. But the service person always respond with the super busy schedule. They way over booked. This is 3rd time same service desk person saying this, start with the D. For at least try to take a look at current schedule, and try work with me, schedule me for one of those day.. instead of telling me to come back next week. I hope this service desk person is new I will forgive, and forget!

I left messages for the Service Manger also and He never responded back either. I was not even informed when the work was completed. I expected much better service from a Ken Garff location. I was severely disappointed! The work done by the mechanic was great, but the customer service needs an overhaul to be effective to its customers!

We took our Maxima to Ken Garff Nissan to have the alternator changed. They conducted an inspection on it and came back with a long list of things they recommended to be fixed. We chose to have the more critical things done, and planned to do the rest over the next few months. It was very expensive, which I am used to anytime you go to a Nissan dealer, but they seem like they are really expensive. We were charged $2,350 for a new alternator and belt, a couple of sensors they replaced, new spark plugs and a couple other small things. The driver side window wouldn’t roll up and I asked them to fix it, which they forgot. My other big problem is it was really difficult to get a hold of our service rep. I would be on hold for 10-15 minutes almost every time I called in and sometimes would just get hung up on. Overall, this was a frustrating and expensive experience.

If I could gave them 0 starts I’ll definitely do that.They have a system that they don’t check. I paid for an advantage plan and was told by 4 different people EVEN THE SUPERVISOR (Devin btw) that I still have 2 oil changes.And suddenly those oil changes disappear, and they charged me again.Then, I was told by 2 different people (once again dear Devin) that I would get my refund.I was patient enough to wait 3 WEEKS! Constantly calling with the only response of β€œlet me check with my finance department and call you back” spoiler: no one call me back.And now the lovely Devin told me β€œoh, you don’t have your refund because you don’t have any oil change” after 4 people including him, told me otherwise.I always have Nissan but I never experienced this bad customer service. I feel horrible because I can’t remember my service guys name but he went above and beyond the call of duty. I’m from out of state and was heading home but was having some issues with my battery. It was late in the day but he said he’d take a look. He not only fixed it, but cleaned the corrosion off the battery, tightened the connector, and added some anti-corrosion. He wanted to make sure I got home safely. Even more impressive, he didn’t charge me for his service. I had just brought my sons car in a couple days before and he remembered me. Outstanding customer service!!!

Warning!!! RUN AWAY from Nissan!!!. We bought brand New from here. Now, The rogue had a intake manifold crack… that should be a 170,000 mile job, not a 67,000 mile job. A oxygen sensor should go bad before a intake manifolds failure. The safety sensors fail. The car brakes by itself without nothing in front. It’s dangerous and Nissan doesn’t want to do anything about it. Not only us, you can look on google a lot of people have the same problems.

I never leave negative reviews, but I really do need to caution people against servicing their vehicle here. Although Sierra was always kind and did give me $120 off after realizing the quote I was given was $500 less than what the invoice showed, that is the only positive thing I can say. And it was still hundreds more than I planned. My car was here for SEVEN WEEKS. I didnt even remember how to work the audio controls by the time I got in it. Every time they said theyd call was inaccurate and I had to call them days later, having given them a grace period because I understand that can happen. But over and over and over? The seven weeks’ wait snt all their fault - Nissan refused to cover the new part with warranty even though I have maintained the vehicle (needed a new engine at 40,000 miles). I went to mediation and they refused again. Side note - also stay away from Nissans. I am selling it back to the dealer and getting a different brand. Kentson Motors was the dealer and is giving me a refund. Everyone should go there, btw. The warranty situation took a chunk of this time. But even when I first brought in my car, I stood there for 45 minutes before anyone would even talk to me. Seeing the other reviews on here makes me wonder how they are even in business and apparently super busy... since they never get things done on time or call you. Calling them requires at least 10-15 minutes hold time as well. I was also told Id receive a text with a video of the technician, and that never happened. I liked Sierra and Dave enough as people. The process was just overwhelmingly negative. This was by far the worst consumer experience of my life. Hope this helps the next person or helps Ken Garff do a re-haul of their service department. Really, Ken Garff. I beg you to fix your system. For the next customer.

Absolutely the worst service center I have ever had to deal with. They do not answer or return calls, you sit on hold forever, only to get a voice message. These folks could not diagnose a flat tire if they saw a 12 inch nail sticking through the side wall. Have had my truck in there 7 times in the past 6 months for the same problem. Finally, I drove the truck in while experiencing the severe timing issue, and put their mechanic in the car with me. He stated yes this is a major issue, seems like timing or fuel delivery. I leave the truck with them to fix, come back few days later to find that they have done nothing, but they did say the truck may have been low on oil and that caused the issue? SERIOUSLY!. 2017 and never leaked a drop of oil, and had oil changed every 5K miles. So they said to drive the truck 1k more miles and bring it back. Now no one will answer messages, or return my calls. Oh and the answering service does not even have the local store GMs number.... Go figure. If you need service, do yourself a favor and go to ANY other service department than these folks. Save you a bunch of aggravation.

Generally a good experience, but for this most recent appointment I was disappointed. I scheduled my service for oil change and brake service several days in advance. I showed up early to the appointment, only for them to tell me that while they could do the oil change, they didnt have time to do the brake service, and asked if I could come back in a week or two for that. The attendant explained that they had too many same day people arrive, but I would think already scheduled appointments shouldnt lose out because of that.

I can’t honestly give any stars to this dealership. I have been taken advantage of time and time again and paid 3-4x the price of services that could be done at better quality elsewhere. After looking at my car for over 4 hours and charging $150 to do so, I was told I needed a new transmission to solve the slight shaking when accelerating on the freeway. When I informed them that I just got a new transmission last year, they didn’t know what to say. I got several other opinions at other shops and the issue was solved perfectly without replacing my transmission. They were simply looking for an easy solution to make them money. My questions are rarely answered at this dealership and I simply can’t recommend it to anyone. I promise youll get better quality work twice as fast at any other mechanic/dealership in town.

Sales were straight forward and kind of what you expect. Service on the other hand is fantastic. My service advisor is always friendly and straightforward. I drive 25 minutes to get both my vehicles serviced here. Yea might be a little more expensive but they take care of you and provide you with overall health and what they recommend. Never pushy. Seriously great place to service your car. Purchased two vehicles here and will always service them here.

David Orme is slow and doesnt care about his customers. Due to the actions of employees youve lost a reliable customer. We came from Idaho to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, we traded in a car and although the transaction seemed to be smooth it was overall a rather dishonest transaction as there was zero negotiation, they had us sign papers before we even got to see the car saying it was being detailed, then waiting well over an hour for the car all to find out they were installing TheftPatrol software that was not advertised to us. This product cost nearly $1,000. We were not offered this product, they snuck it in all the paperwork and now they refuse to cancel or refund for this product. Their finance manager and salesmen have been less than helpful in making things right. Not only did they add this software without our consent, the cars detail job was sub par. Extremely frustrating experience, would not recommend doing business with them....

I have had the WORST experiences with Ken Garff Nissan in Orem. I was sold on a warranty that costed thousands of dollars. I have had to have the transmission replaced, within 6 months of that service, a transmission cable replaced and paid thousands more because of diagnostic fees and services that were just outside of my coverage I have been very displeased with their lack of customer service and their service department as a whole. Will never consider Ken Garff in the future and will not recommend them to anyone I know.

He told me what to expect for cost and time involved in the service. He spoke with me several times to keep me updated. I appreciated him taking time to insure all was well, and everything was done in a timely manner.

After using Ford for almost all of my driving life (I have had 5 ford cars total) I have finally received AMAZING service just after purchasing a Nissan! (this is a long review) We just purchased a used car, and of course the second we drive it off the lot the light turns on. Not something people want to have happen on the day or anytime close to when you purchase a car new or used. So of course we are thinking maybe we got a lemon. Well, it was still under manufacturer warranty, so thats good, we took it in and Jose (service rep) took awesome care to hear the concern and let me know how long it would take and Wilson (shuttle driver) was so kind to take me where i needed to go. They sent me texts throughout the process and was done early so they picked me up and I got home. Then later the light came back on. Well, I took it in again the next day where they happily helped me and apologized for the inconvenience and then their mechanic Russ made me a special VIDEO of the problem and solution. He didnt brush me off and didnt ignore the problem and say they couldnt fix (that has happened many times at ford) but they tried something new, then test drove it to be sure it worked and it did! They kept in touch with me and just provided the best service and Hot Cocoa while I waited in a spaced out environment which is nice because I am 40 weeks pregnant already and dont feel safe being anywhere. So I am grateful I could spread out. Anyways, BEST SERVICE EVER!!! Even if I had to come in 2 times. They made it easy and were very communicative. Thanks Jose, Wilson and Russ!

Very poor. We took it in Thursday morning, as mentioned before, and did not hear anything all day from anyone. Finally, someone called Friday morning and mentioned that we needed to replace the battery and a brake component. They listed the price for each component and that each one would require 1/2 hour of labor, however, they did not indicate the cost of the labor. I assumed it was a nominal amount, since both repairs were easy, but was VERY surprised to find the total cost to be almost $500 for a battery and a small brake item. I was surprised. Poor communication, higher than expected cost.

Went in for my first service on my new car and was very happy through the entire experience. It was finished in the hour I was quoted (felt like faster) while I waited in the dealership. And the staff was super friendly, had great amenities and the waiting are was nicely set for social distancing. After my work was done the advisor answered a question/concern I had and I was good to go.

Our car service was not completed when we were told and scheduled an appointment, and we are now without a car, and not received an answer on picking it up. In general this service place is great.. I do love how they send videos about what they are working on and keep you updated.. BUT… I literally can’t believe what has happened to me not once, but TWO times in the last couple years of taking my vehicle here. THEY DID NOT ADD OIL BACK INTO MY CAR AFTER DOING THE OIL CHANGE. Literally how can this happen, and not once, but twice??? Both times I got miles and Miles away before seeing the check oil light come on and had to pull into a gas station to check the dip stick. First time I risked it and drove back to get them to confirm their mistake and fill the oil back up, this second time I was in a rush trying to get out of town and literally had to walk to an autozone to buy 7 qt of oil to fill my car up. I honestly should consider some kind of legal action at this point considering the damage they may have caused to my engine block.

We unfortunately had a bad experience at this location that almost cost us $6,000 more than what we needed to spend to get our car fixed. We started experiencing acceleration issues with our 2017 Nissan Rogue when it hit 70,000 (just over the warranty limit of 60,000 miles) so we took it here to have them check the transmission. After their evaluation they told us the transmission was totaled and would need to be completely replaced and the total replacement would cost $6,100. Obviously that didn’t sit well with us since it is a pretty new car and we hardly drive it, so we took it to a local mechanic. After a quick look the only issue was low transmission fluid and a small leak. It only cost us $150 to fix! I am so sad this happened because I am sure there are many individuals being scammed by the mechanics here and paying way more than they need to. Always take your car for a second opinion! And never have Nissan service your car unless it’s under warranty.

I typically have a great experience here with ken garff at Orem but this time it wasn’t so. I originally scheduled two diagnostics. 1 for my ac system and 1 for my key fob and it was supposed to be at 7:30 am but I got two different texts for 9:15 and 9:30. I dropped off my car and it took them over a day to send me my first diagnostic vid and then I only heard from them early Friday morning and then after 10:40am they didn’t respond to me and they closed for the weekend so I couldn’t get my car til Monday. Then Monday came around and they didn’t even do a diag for my fob not connecting to my car. It’s a bummer because I do like this dealership but it just isn’t performing like it was.

Went in there and my first question was how long it will take which they said 45 mins to 60. No problem. 90 mins later I go ask how much longer it will take and the guy that was helping was nowhere to be found, my keys had been left at his desk for who knows how long and due to the fact that I had been left on the waiting area for longer that I should have and was late to another appointment I had scheduled. I am also confused at the fact that they found a lot of corrosion on my battery but I had been there two months prior and nothing was mentioned. Overall not pleased. I went in for a simple repair on my 2016 Nissan, no big deal. After coming back a couple days later to pick up my car, my key remote had gone missing. The service department was not going to replace it for me on the spot, so I went home to order my own remotes and program them myself. I was contacted by the service manager Jason a couple days later and he offered to reimburse me for the remotes I had purchased online. I thank you Jason for reaching out to me and offering to make the situation right. Perhaps things could have been different at the dealership, but it was made right by them in the end.
