Went there on Thursday (3/18/2021) to get brakes done! The woman I spoke to on the phone told me the price & also told me that if my rotors needed to be replaced it would cost $80 plus tax per rotor! When I get there they checked everything & the guy came in & told me that I needed all 4 rotors & brakes replaced! Then he told me the price would be $815 & that I also needed a tie rod! If I got the tie rod done then I would be paying $1,000+!!! Good thing my dad was there & said “no, that’s way too much”! Took my car some where else only to find out I do not need rotors & my tie rod was not bad like he tried to say it was! Good thing I did take my car some where else because I only paid $100 to get my tie rod fixed & my brakes replaced! Sad how they try to get over on women! Will NEVER return to this place again!

Went in because my car was making a humming noise found out it was my bearing $277 later it was supposed to be fixed well two days later it started humming again took it back monday morning conveniently they didnt hear the humming noise but let me know my car was missing rods on both front tires why wasnt I told that before I spent my $277 they didnt figure that out until I came back with an issue they also let me know my back tire is just about rusted off why wasnt I told this info the first time I went so my cars still humming and I have a rust issue just out my $277 thanks for being honest one thing I can say yes they were all really nice and friendly

Car had a noise, it was a wrong install clipper from previous job. They found and solved the problem. They were honest and provided the right diagnostic. Did not charge me for the issue. They were friendly and fast.

Took my truck there and advise salesman my brakes were going to the floor. Was told I needed new brakes and rear caliper for 500.00 which is very over priced. Once work was completed, I immediately noticed brakes still going to floor. Salesman told me to bring truck back. Was told there was no issue even though brakes were still going all the way to the floor. Took it across the street to Mavis who found problem to be brake booster in 5 minutes. I called Brakes 4 less customer service and advised them of the issue. Spoke with Dexter who was very rude. He eventually agreed for me to meet with district manager at the Philips location to get refund on 200.00 caliper that was replaced unnecessarily. Instead of getting refund District manager convinced me to allow them to fix the issue. This time truck was diagnosed with bad rear caliper. Brakes still went to floor after having caliper replaced. Told manager, nothing done. So I basically spent over 500.00 for nothing. I doubt I will get my money back or have service diagnosed correctly and fixed by them but want others to know of the poor quality and service. was charged 200.00 for a 50.00 caliper and a unnecessary brake change. Wish someone warned me about brakes 4 less before I actually went. Big rip-offs!!

This is a great place to do business for brakes. The workers here are honest will not try to rip you off. They turned my front rotors and replaced the rear ones. And told me why. The customer service here is great. If you dont understand something they will show you what is going on with your vehicle. Plus they have a great warranty. Ill definitely be bringing all my vehicles here!

Devin and his guys were straight forward. I was told by Tire Kingdom on Argyle that my brakes really needed to be changed and the rotors resurfaced. I got to Devins shop they took my jeep in and the tech showed me my brakes and told me they were pretty brand new and in great condition. That is a sign of a respectable shop that just isnt out there to steal peoples hard earned money. Saved me from throwing money down the drain for brake pads, calipers and rotors that didnt need to serviced or changed. Outstanding Customer Service as well.

Have taken 2 vehicles there. Had trouble with both. Paid $540 for back brakes on a Ford F-150. Rotors NOT replaced properly. Their excuse, “It’s ok because you have a lifetime warranty”. REALLY? Like I wanna spend every Saturday at a brake place when they couldn’t fix it properly the first time. The name alone is dishonest. Their brakes are not less. I should’ve known better

I took 2 high mileage vehicles in for inspections thinking with more than 60k miles since the last brake work on both I probably needed some work. FREE INSPECTION and no work required on either vehicle. I think I found my place for brake work. Trust in the people doing the work is big relief for me.

Got a quote for front pads and rooters. Was quoted $400. I said no I would do it my self. Realized that they put the lug nuts back on so tight that they striped them out when they replaced them. Do not go here. Find your self a real shop. There is no savings using them and they will destroy your car.

Nice location very professional.They were able to tell me quickly what my estimate was on my brakes. Prices were too expensive for my budget at $900 for all 4 brake pads and rotors on my Audi was out of my league. Found a better deal elsewhere that was half that. I understand they have to use their inventory so I cant fault them for it. Maybe on my older car I will use them.

The team here is super helpful and knowledgeable. I went somewhere else first and I was quoted almost $1000 for a 4 wheel break job and told I need all new rotors. I came here and they actually showed me what was going on and that in fact I only needed two new rotors and the other two where okay and my total came to a little over $370! The break job was quick and painless and I am very satisfied. Highly recommend them to anyone needing brake work done!

This LOCATION has an up hill battle considering its past history. 1. Brake pads and rotors are extremely inexpensive ranging from $20 - $45 for 2 front new brake pads and $50-$60 for 2 new front rotors. 2. Many vehicles only have front braking so there is absolutely no need to change or even inspect your back brakes because thats called your E-brake and/or Parking brake so unless you use your parking brake half as often as you use your main front brakes, theres never a need to deal with back brakes. All wheel drive and/or anti-lock braking systems using front & back brakes to brake would be the only time you want to inspect and/or replace your back brakes. 3. Caliper servicing is simply adding grease to the calipers which a novice could do in 5 minutes costing a business little to nothing if they do it themselves. Do you see what Im getting at? To change your front brakes you simply remove the tire and loosen 1 bolt and replace the pads. Very simple and easy. So where is the $179 - $479 price tag coming from??? They claim to resurface your rotors but come on now, thats more work and expense than to just replace them with new ones and that shouldnt cost you much considering to change the rotors is almost as simple as the front brake pads, you just have to remove an additional bolt and two or four screws and the rotor comes right off. For the price tag they should be doing that automatically, but hey, if they want to sand smooth a rotor real quick rather than change it, where in the heck is the price tag coming from??? This is WAY OVER PRICED for what anyone could do themselves for less than $100 bucks! This is why I had to start servicing my own vehicles brakes (Honda Accord 2002 & Honda Civic 2001) and why I had to start replacing and balancing my own tires too but for that I did have to spend a little money ($40 portable tire changing station & $85 for balancing device) but it was well worth the investment and time and so is changing your own brakes unless these over priced businesses start trading honestly and wisely. The huge price tag doesnt justify the parts & service, not even close.4. It also opens up the door to dishonesty when you can easily tell a customer that they need new rotors and calipers because there was a little wear and tear on them but even then the price tag shouldnt be as much as they are advertising for brake service and replacement/repair. These are the facts and people need to start paying attention, especially at this particular location!

I cant even begin to explain how much I appreciate Devin and the other mechanic that worked on my car brakes. They knew exactly what was wrong with the brakes on my car. What I thought was going to be a nightmare and possibly thousands of dollars, ended up being an easy fix. They were quick, efficient and Devin treated me so kind. Their honesty (when they couldve easily up sold me unnecessarily) has made me a lifelong customer for the brake needs of our family in the future. They have earned our trust. Cause i thought brakes that costed me 400 plus would have life time warranty and i just had put new brakes on car that costed me 100 and have lifetime does not make sense to me at all .

HORRIBLE ! Up sold to the upgraded package for $288.90. Service did not include new brake hardware as promised, overfilled master cylinder, spilled brake fluid all over inside engine compartment, did not torque lug nuts to prevent wheel damage, did not protect caliper hoses from stretching by supporting the dis-assembled wheel assembly, did not put protective plastic over seats to prevent soiling the seat covers. Report submitted to the Better Business Bureau when corporate office would not return telephone call. STAY AWAY FROM THESE STOOGES!!!!!

HONEST CREW ... Been working two jobs & I hadnt had time to check the brakes or to change them & heard about the special so I made an appointment to have them changed, due to some squealing a few weeks prior. After checking the brakes they informed me they didnt actually need to be changed....Id have to say Im quite impressed theres still companies out there thatll tell you honestly, you dont need to spend the money right now instead of jumping on an easy opportunity. They could have easily swapped out the pads & I wouldve never second guessed it. HIGHLY IMPRESSED, our family & friends will be back soon. 😊

Had a squeaky brake...They called with estimated $400+ to repaire & replace 2 rotors. The add says starting at $139 for all 4 brakes. So I guess rotors are $150 a piece? (They are not)I said no, they offered about $100 off to around $340. Said Ill come get my car now. Called me back and offered another discount to $290.I let them do it. They never got me close to the 139 advertised everywhere & I never saw any old parts or rotors.Having said that, the guy that did the work was fast under 30 minutes, feels nice when braking & my squeak is gone. Wont be back & neither will anyone I know.

The entire process of having my front rotors and brake pads replaced was seamless. I called made an appointment for Monday at 430, by 530 I was on my way home. Devin the manager was helpful and professional.

My mother went to get her brakes fixed. I knew pads and a couple of rotors. They charged $140 for pads and another $150 for changing two rotors. Rotors cost about $13 each... So $120 for labor when your already changing the pads. It like an extra ten minutes. Never again. A dealership would have cost $300 and I would have dealer guarantee. Took advantage of an older lady. 😡

Terrible customer service guy at front desk looked hungover and very unfriendly. Aggressively pushed upsell when quoted for 160 by Corp. Didnt provide any explanation as of to why, went to place across the street got it done for half of what was quoted there with friendlier customer service. Its no wonder there was no wait time my experience was terrible.

I went into the Orange Park location and was told that brakes still have another 40,000 miles. Very honest business.

Brought my car in good service in a timely fashion..I was told $900 for calipers and rotors with pads on my Tundra they got me done for $600

After one of the calipers on my car seized I received two nearly identical quotes from other shops at approximate $800 in repairs to replace both front calipers(despite only one being locked) resurface both front rotors and replace the pads. After speaking with the people here on the phone i was quoted a few hundred less for the same work with new rotors and a free inspection. Upon the inspection I was informed that despite what the others had claimed most of the work that had been recommended wasnt even needed instead they were able to rebuild and reseal my existing calipers and resurface the rotors. The pads that the other shops told me I would need werent even damaged. In all they saved me between $400-$500 and had me out the door in less than two hours. I cant recommend strongly enough

I went in because my brakes were squealing and I didnt have time to take it my regular mechanic.I went in they said I needed new pads, my calipers sticking, and my wheel cylinders were leaking which brought me up to a grand total of $450+. Being a young blonde woman Im always scared people are going to rip me off because of how I look. It was way too much so I took my mechanic friend the next day he said that I had brake dust build up and that was all it was. And that my brake pads had well over an inch left on my brake pads and everything was fine as well.Needless to say Im less than happy about it.
