Bought a new set of tires for my car a few months back. I had them balanced and rotated for free ystrdy. They do a quick job while you wait. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend for low prices and great service.

I have been a loyal customer and have spent $1,000s at this Tire Plus and others. When I picked up my Jeep after a tire rotation/balance visit, a slip-on American Racing hub cap was missing. The check out manager said, I was not here when you dropped it off when I brought it to his attention. He didnt try to resolve this issue for a loyal customer. He didnt care. So they have lost my business over a $19.95 hub cap. I was floored at his attitude over such a simple and inexpensive part.

I bought my latest tire from here and will not be going back for another set. They are very rude to WOMEN and do not talk to you like a person. I have been back 3 times with issues or rotation and service is always rude .

I shopped for tires online and called 4 different places. Tires Plus quoted me a price but when I showed up they claimed they had sized the wrong vehicle and tried to up charge me. I told him I didn’t want the tires so he was able to come down and find a different price for a lower class tire.. Once the car was on the rack they found a nail that could not be fixed. I drove over to see the leak there was no nail. The tech told me that perhaps the other tech had made a mistake and they could patch it after all. At that point I told them I had lost faith in the company would like my car. He said he would talk to the manager. I said I wanted my car. Got my car back went to drive away and saw that the battery light was now on. COMPLETELY DISREPUTABLE!!! Am reporting them to the BBB

Dont schedule an appointment on line because it is a waste of time. I scheduled an appointment on the weekend for a Monday appointment to wake up to a phone call from the tires plus telling me that there was a conflict with my appointment. The person I talked to said the system didnt work.

I recommend this location due to the fact they are always honest with me. They are quick but but never take short cuts. I needed to get my battery replaced and even thought I did not realize it was under warranty they did and were honest and replaced it free and so quickly I was only an hour late to work.

Unfortunately, I will not be taking my vehicle back to Tires Plus in Orange Park. I have taken my 2012 Ford Mustang there a few times for service, but my most recent service was an eye-opener to their price gouging tactics. I would encourage everyone to not simply accept their pricing as-is, and do some research as to what it costs DIY or somewhere else. This company is marking up manufacturer parts by hundreds of percentage points. I have specific examples.On my most recent visit on 06/08/2020 I received a quote for a Fuel Filter replacement and Spark Plug replacement. Per the invoice provided by Tires Plus, they wanted to charge me $41.99 for a fuel filter part and $18.99 per spark plug (in which, Id need six of them). The spark plugs were Motorcrafts Platinum SP-520 spark plugs. These were parts alone. Adding in labor, they wanted a total of $128 for replacing the fuel filter and $329 for the spark plugs replaced.I went home and researched these repairs. I immediately noticed Motorcraft SP-520 spark plugs sell for $3.97 each on Amazon. A replacement Motorcraft fuel filter costs $15.42 on Amazon. They have marked up these prices by hundreds of percentage points. They wanted over $150 in parts, while I could get them directly off Amazon for less than $40 with free shipping.Next comes labor. Im not a mechanic, so I wont speak to this as much. However, most sites Ive researched suggest Tires Plus labor prices are outrageous. Again, they wanted $100 labor for the fuel filter and $252 labor for the spark plugs. I watched a video on how to replace the fuel filter on a 2012 Ford Mustang, and watched it done in about 5 easy steps taking a total of 10 minutes. Obviously the spark plugs are more challenging, but $252 for a couple hour project is insanely priced at an hourly rate.Overall, I will not take my car back to Tires Plus. Maybe I cant justify the labor well, but I can most definitely see how Id get screwed on the parts alone. Again, Id encourage everyone to look at your invoice closely and research what they are charging you for. Just because the invoice says $150 doesnt mean its a complex, in-depth project... it could be something as simple as swapping a filter in less than 10 or 15 minutes. Dont be fooled.UPDATE: Spoke to AutoNation Ford Orange Park today about the invoice I received from Tires Plus. Was advised there is NO service fuel filter part on the 2012 Ford Mustang. Those are previous models which had the in-line fuel filters... really makes me wonder now, if had I paid that, what they would have done service-wise. Id like to hope that this wasnt a fraudulent attempt to take advantage of a person that doesnt know automotive stuff.

Absolutely horrible manager by the name of Rick. Made an appointment for my car to get an oil change and it took 4 hours. Somehow there was more miles on my car when I picked it up than when I dropped it off. I filled the survey out that they send you, and said that if anyone wants to follow up with me to send me an email, so naturally manager Rick calls me. He told me that they put my car at the back of the line for the oil change because other people came in and waited on their car, even though I had an appointment. He proceeded to say that they had to do a test drive of my car for an oil change (this has never happened at any other Tires Plus I’ve been to). All Rick was able to do was make lousy excuses and not even apologize for the inconveniences. I will not be returning to this location.

I have been coming to this Tires Plus for several years now. They always make it such a good experience. They will be honest and forthright with you about your vehicle. Sometimes its not good news they tell you, but you knew you had a problem when you went there. They make suggestions like any other mechanic shop, they are a business. Ultimately it is up to you the consumer to make the decision. I will continue to bring both of my cars here for Service!!! Adam has been taking care of my vehicles like they were his own. Decent work, however, a lot of excuses to get more money out of you. When someone asks YOU for one thing, just do it instead of hustling them with lies coming out of your mouth and your eyes clearly showing it. Someone may have reported their unpleasant experience to the BBB or Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations. Whatever happened to Southern hospitality. Absolutely furious. My girlfriend went into this dump looking for tires. Spoke to the Manager John Burmeister. She said she was very uncomfortable while she was interacting with him by the way he was staring and the way he was talking and trying to make jokes like an attempt to flirt with her. He eventually crossed the line when he was showing her tires on display and actually put his hands on her. Since she has a credit card with the company she decided to try another location. This time I went with. I was actually told by a worker there after sharing the experience that this man has a history of crossing the line with female customers and even touched a female employee years ago. Turns out she decided to quit because he plays golf with a higher up in the company and everything he does just gets swept under the rug. Something needs to be done. I think I might pay him a visit and see if he likes it when I put my hands on him.

I brought my daughters car in last week because it had overheated when she took it to work that morning. Tires Plus was just up the road from her work and I have an account with them from when I had my brakes done so I decided to have them take a look at it.It only took 10-15 minutes after getting it into the bay for them to tell me that the car had a blown gasket from driving it while it was hot. I was also told that because of the high mileage on the vehicle it wasnt worth rebuilding the head and that I needed to replace the entire engine. I could expect it to cost $3,000 - $4,000. I asked if they had checked anything else like the water pump to find out what was causing it to overheat in the first place. Thats when he told me that I had to repair the engine before they could even check anything else because the blown head gasket kept them from being able to pressurize the system and check anything else. I was highly doubtful of the diagnosis because the car was running fine and no engine warning lights were on, it was just running hot. Thats when I called a tow truck and had it taken to a mechanic that I know over in Jacksonville. He almost immediately found a cracked hose. So, what Tires Plus told me would take $3,000 - $4,000 to repair was fixed with one $30 hose and about an hour of labor.I waited this long to write the review because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if the cracked hose was really the only problem or if any other issues were going to develop that would prove them right about the engine. We have had NO issues with the car since the hose was replaced and the engine continues to run smoothly.The end result is that I feel as though they were trying to take advantage of the situation and now I cant trust them to give me an honest evaluation. Im even doubting if the extensive brake work that I had done to my car was necessary. So, even though I have an account with Tires Plus it is extremely unlikely that I will ever go there again and I will definitely NEVER go to this particular location again.

Took my husbands car for a new tire cause it was flat . They put a new tire on. Balanced the tires... steering wheel was shaking so bad when we hit 70 mph .. took it back so they could rebalance it .. which we had to pay for ... steering wheel still shakes horribly .. so took it back again now they show me I have a bent axle ...how come that wasnt seen before? How come my car ran just fine before i had yall put a new tire on. Now i have more problems wrong with my car

I think they hire mechanics without doing a thorough background check to make sure they are trained properly. One of the young mechanics who worked on my car broke the hubcap covers and didnt bother to tell me about it - he tried to glue them all back on. Tires Plus made good on it, so I returned to have my alternator replaced. Ever since then, the car idles too low. I took it back only to have them tell me that the car is fine and needs to readjust to the new part. It has been doing this for over 3 months now. I will not be returning.

They sabotage vehicles. I got tires on my navigator and told them not to even open my hood. They loosened my oil filter and pulled wires from my vaccume. They told me I will be needing a new engine soon. I will never go back. Why the hell would any of u.? Pay attention to what they do to your car. They did simalur sabotage to my buddys truck. No problem with car until u leave tires plus then u will keep having problems. They should be shut down

My Wife went to this Tires Plus to get a slow leak fixed on my rear left tire. She found out that a nail was in the center of the tire.She was told by the lady behind the counter that they couldnt repair the tire because of the angle of where the nail entered the tire in the center it couldnt be repaired. She also said that if they could repair it, that it would cost $22.00. Now we have given this place a lot of business and now I am convinced that they robbed us on some of that business. My wife had enough sense to take it to DISCOUNT TIRES and they not only fixed it and provided a lifetime guarantee on the repair but they did it for free. This place quoted us a price for another new tire knowing the tire that had the nail in it was repairable. I think they be ripping people off to get their sales up. Please dont take your car to this place, our trust was betrayed. Give this place a message that we dont need them making up issues with our cars, we have enough real issues with them. I hope everyone catch on to them and their sales drop to where their management is replaced or they have to go out of business using those criminal, underhanded practices.Update:3/10/2018Against our better judgment, we gave this business another chance. The manager called and pretty much gave a lot of excuses and apologized. The last straw was yesterday when we had them work on two of our cars, One of our cars overheated after having spending $900 to replace the radiator. My wife was driving it and had to pull over at the side of the road and they had to come and pick it up and repair it right. They can never seem to get it right the first time which is a big inconvenience for customers. Also, I bought my car in to get new spark plug wires and new plugs but when I got my car back I notice the coolant level sensor light on, on my dash. I called and spoke with Adam the service manager. He was rude and told me that the sensor light has nothing to do with the spark plug work and refused to look at it again. I insisted that this light wasnt on prior to me bringing it in and he said that it was a coincidence. I disagreed and ask them to take another look. He ended up hanging up in my face and acted in s very unprofessional manner and subsequently hung up the phone in my face. I called back 3 timed only to be placed on hold 3 times. When I finally spoke to him, I asked him for his Corporate Headquarters phone number and reported him. I found out that the coolant level sensor is just above the first spark plug and think that they hit the wire for that sensor and damaged it. I was able to locate it and push it into place and the sensor light wend off. It makes you think if these guys know what they are doing, the service manager obviously didnt know that they were working near that sensor. I will never again give Tires Plus my business, not even for tires let alone other issues. We are finished with them after this episode. Please read and heed these reviews, they have some egregious claims against them but I believe every negative comment know matter if they have positive comments.

Horrible experience and terrible customer service!!! If you want to sit around all day and waste your time then this is the place for you. Otherwise, run far away! Both my husband and I needed new tires but after spending the majority of the day waiting for my tires to be completed (they had no other customers), my husband has decided to take his truck elsewhere. We definitely wont ever be coming back here!Update: After driving my car home, my service light came on alerting us to low tire pressure. You would think that after spending over $1000 on new tires that they could at least get the tire pressure correct but that just goes to show the type of service you will get at this place.

If you like to spend your hard earned $ and get your vehicle damaged and pay for services that dont even get done then this is the place to go! 50% of the time you get a balance and rotate you have to go back and get a rebalance. I had a shim kit put on my truck and ever since Ive had squeaking coming from the front end that was never there before, the manager told me Ill just have to once in awhile to get down there with some wd-40 and oil it. Are you kidding me? Almost every other visit I was missing a valve stem cap. Even when you complain the management is full of every excuse in the book on how the damage wasnt or couldnt have been done there or that the service was performed even though it wasnt. Also nearly every time I dropped my vehicle off most of the time it was early if I didnt stay with it I would get bumped to the back of the line and they would call me when they were closing to tell me my vehicle was done. Im done with Tires Plus! These are some of the same reasons I left tire kingdom after almost 20 years. YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

I told them I was on a budget and didnt have a lot of money on me.The sign says $17.99 for standard oil change they showed me a receipt for $22 butWhen it was time to pay 1 hour later its was $28I had an allergy attack sitting in the waiting room that smells like mold.And they had complementary coffee out that was old, cold and uncovered without a lid on it.

They broke the brake line in the car and wouldnt own up to it when I took the car there the brake line was good did not even have a leak nowhere in my driveway when they call me to come look the brake line was broken in half they lied and said when he hit the brakes the line broke no way and then he wanted to fight me and I only requested two tires and they put four tires on there without my consent terrible customer service and the workers will try to fight you

Previously my wife took her car her car to get new tires while I was out of town. They put the new tires on put while doing the alignment they advised her the front axles needed replacement and couldnt perform the alignment. We decided to only do the rear tires. Well when they took the new tires off the front they failed to rebalance the old tires. We had to take the car back. The management was full of excuses. We had another shop look at the axles and were advised there was nothing wrong with them.

I came and dropped my car off on 06/18/2015. I wanted to have all the fluids checked and the car looked over. I then got a call on 06/20/2015 saying the axels and rear brakes need to be fixed which came up to right at 1,000. I approved the work to be done on the car. When I picked the car up on 06/21/2015 I was told they also took it upon there self to fix a harmonic balancer on the car which I did not approve. I was told they called and left a message but no one called them back. The harmonic balance was just fixed less than 6 mths ago at another shop and was under warranty so I would have never agreed to pay to fix it again. Within 3 miles on driving the car it then stopped running in the middle on the street. I called them they did have it towed back to the shop. On 06/22/2015 I was then told my transmission was messed up that it would not allow the axel to sit in it correctly. They told me before I came to pick up the car they had drove it around for 30 min and had no problems. I find that very hard to believe since they told me when it was towed back they placed the axel in over 3 times and it kept popping out. They then told me I would have to take it to a transmission shop to be fixed. After going back and forth they sent the car to AAMCO on Monday 06/22/2015 around 6 pm. AAMCO then called me on 06/23/2015 and told me that the axel was not set in the transmission correct and that was the reason it kept falling out. I was without a car for 2 days and really do not trust this place. They did offer me 3 free oil changes for the inconvenience of not having a car for 2 days. Today I went to get the oil changed against better judgement. While there a elderly customer brought her car in to get fixed and then would not start they were telling the lady that it would not start when she arrived. Bottom line I think something is going on in this place I think this needs to be looked into.
