Bought a $40,000 truck, picked it up on a Friday, was told they didnt have the title and wouldnt have it till Monday and they would overnight it to me so I had it on Tuesday. Also, the truck was not as described at all and is missing $12,000 in parts to make it run. I have called emailed and texted them with little to no response and no title. It has been over 30 days and still no title. I have also requested my money back and I get no response. Another sad part is, I cant even get the manager or the regional manager to take my calls, call me back or email me back. I do not recommend Copart in Oklahoma City!
The selection was okay. The CSR that called us was very rude and did not like helping us with our issue. She tried to pass us onto the one of the managers who kept telling her that she could help us. I think she was fairly new but stated she worked in the yard so she knew all she needed to and that she was right and management didnt know anything. Very unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with the company as well.
BUYER BE AWARE!!! PLEASE DONT BUY OFFSITE CARS FROM COPART. THESE ARE DEALERS TRYING TO GET RID OF THE JUNK CARS IN THEIR LOTS. THEY DO NOT DISCLOSE INFORMATION ABOUT THOSE CARS (mileage or the main issue) THEY WILL STATE MINOR/DENTS OR NORMAL WEAR BUT IT WILL BE EITHER ENGINE/TRANSMISSION OR FLOOD. THIS IS FROM EXPERIENCE.
Love hate relationship, love auctions but there fees are crazzzzzzzzy high. Plus a 50.00 gate fee and a 50.00 virtual auction fee. What the hell is that ? 😳
I use too think this place was the best place to buy cars. Now their fees are ridiculous 25 dollars per person to get in the yard what ! Plus 5 dollar for a vest and the cost of the paperwork after you buy a car is unreal its almost the price of the car before the opaperwork they are MONEY HUNGRY!!!! THAT changes their benefit to me might as well go to a car lot instead of this auction. I came from tulsa to get hit over the head with unnecessary Fees. That a shame.SMDH
Terrible virtual queue system goes from 5 minutes then 14 then 16. But dont you dare question them about it! The sad excuse for a woman behind the counter will just talk to you like she does her children. Learn respect.
2yrs ago I wouldve given copart 5 stars. It was a great place to find a good value on a car if you were willing to do a little work. However, due to YouTube or whatever theyve out grown themselves. And the process for buying a car through them is more difficult. Then there are the fees, if you decide to bid on a car at copart, make sure you read through the members fees. Youve been warned! Then there was todays experience. I checked in through the kiosk and Im notified that I have a 24 minute wait, then 11, then 6, then back to 22, then 5, then 19....I finally get called to the counter at 10:30. The last that handled my purchase was very polite and helpful. I get my title and go outside to wait on them to bring my car out....3.5hrs they finally bring my car out. I will admit that they were busy today, but 3.5hrs, thats excessive no matter how you put it. So, do I recommend copart? Meh, if you have all day to waste trying to get your car, and you want to save a little money by fixing it yourself sure.
Ive been to my share of Copart facilities and I have to say my experience here paying for and picking up my motorcycle was one of the smoothest experiences Ive had at a Copart. The lady behind the counter was very efficient, friendly, and helpful. I believe I talked to a girl named Jennifer when I called and she was very cordial and helpful in explaining procedures for motorcycles and COVID. The forklift driver was also very helpful and guided me into the garage to load up the bike. All in all, an amazing experience compared to some other Copart facilities...
Alot of vehicles to choose from and the staff was very polite
One star for ths company due to their offer being the highest on my car i was selling, yet horrible service. Run! Their tow company called me @7am for vehicle pickup although i was scheduled for a 1-5pm pickup that the incoherent rep cancel!! For what!? Cuz my title wasnt notarized in their name!! I m glad i didnt sign my title over to copart without having the payment in full. COPART WILL DEMAND U TO SIGN TITLE OVER BEFORE PICKUP. DONOT DO IT UNLESS $$$ IS IN UR HAND. THEN MAKE THEM PAY TAG AGENCY TO GET IT NOTARIZED.
They do not respect the order of arrival, the workers receive money to prioritize, you can expect to wait 3 - 5 hours for them to attend you. The worst service experience.
The counter person was nice. But I was missing a hanging lighter from the sun visor. It was given to me by family. I realize it is just a lighter, but if they deem it ok to take that what else would they take from another persons vehicle. Its not ok to take from another. Doesnt matter how small the item is. Bad business in my opinion!!
The only place where you can give a company thousands of dollars and they treat you like 💩💩!!! Ive heard from former employees that they also shill bid against customers, could be true. If another company could please take over is my prayers, 🤣.
By far my first trip is very informative and they were able to guide me in the right direction and help me with my paperwork in order for me to begin bidding at this location on cars so if youre looking for an automobile or an RV at a reduced price you can find something here with my repairs that could last you a very long time and this includes travel trailers motorhomes ATVs cars trucks Ive even seen a plastic kayak was a scratch on and it sold for $25 so thats amazing place to visit instead of the Carnages depressing but it gives you an understanding of just how bad a crash can be in an automobile I think this would be a good learning curve for a teenager thats fixing to get your drivers license and walk them through let them see just how bad it can be to a vehicle but not a law of their vehicles or like this a lot of them just have hail damage and sell for a very very low reduced price so if you are interested in this place dont take my word for it find out for yourself it is the excellent place to look for an automobile or an RV or even for the toys for the kids that is what Im writing a full review and I give it five stars
Its as if keeping people cooling their heels is an intentional part of their business strategy. No process convenience AT ALL.
Management is terrible...Place is disorganized... waited 2 months for checks on 3 vehicles that we sold here and havent been paid. they lost the checks twice and printed the first set off to another person. If it was the other way around they charge storage and late fees automatically after a few days.
ATTENTION:: All drivers or customers picking vehicles up. Yard closes at 4:30 If not there by 4:30 You will not get loaded. Office closes at 5:00 pm.. Got my paper work at 3:30 was loaded by 4:30..picked up one car...much better then last year! Had to wait 4hours to get one car loaded on my trailer .pretty big copart .i do appreciate the effort to get the drivers in and out..they also increased the amount of people they have working the counter inside. Hope other drivers will have the same experience as me..waiting sucks especially with the ELD MANDATE all coparts /iaai should follow the quick in/out process. Ever minute counts when running e-logs..👍👊
Just had a great transaction with those guys in OKC. They were very helpful especially Nancy L..
Horrible Horrible Horrible !!!More than 2 hrs to get ONE car.Guy on forklift nowhere to be found, even lady from office had to leave office to look for him...No consideration for peoples time whatsoever 😒
The customer service is soo horrible and the personnel is soo rude. The kiosk app is just a waste of time. I spent almost 2 hours on the queue just to pay for 1 vehicle.
The staff was friendly, but they have weird check in to get your vehicle. We were already at the counter and had to go outside to scan a square queue to check in then wait to be called. Weird!
Car was brought here by insurance agency after a total-loss accident. Staff was very nice and easy to work with while I removed my personal belongings prior to the vehicle being parted out.
After you input info in kiosk and do the paperwork inside its pretty smooth, the loaders usually quick about getting you loaded
Great folks good at there job
Nice, friendly, helpful staff. They can answer about any questions, just ask. Always always always check out the vehicle in person or bring along a knowledgeable friend.Buyer beware or learn the hard way. The best part is the staff will definitely help you out, but you gotta ASK them. They really are happy to help everyone. That’s another reason why I shop here.
The ladies there I believe where doing there best. No communication between yard and office waited around a hour to get stuff out my car, my car was sitting out there most of the time, nobody said anything. Stuff was missing out of my car, to be fair it could have been the tow driver or the first place it stayed, was told the employees where not aloud to take stuff out of the cars. Duhhhhhh!!!! a cable small air compress for flats, and a battery pack to jump car in case of dead battery. But the change in the center console was there. yeah me. i can almost wash my new car.
Overpaid for a junk car only to find out the catalytic converter was already gone
Easy in and out
Easy in and out, parking is tight but overall an easy experience
Great people and easy access from hyways
Checked in a little after 8 to get belongings from our totaled vehicle. Did not bring it out until almost 10:30. Very disappointed.
Besides the crowded parking lot easy place to get to.
NEVER let your car be taken to Copart. I was in an accident that wasnt my fault so the other drivers insurance sent my car to copart for its damage assessment. Fast forward a month from getting it back and my car has more damage than when it left AND missing parts! Ive been back and forth with customer service, one of which no longer works there & I was never let known of this, and finally got put thru to the GM. Still no answer since he now has to escalate it to his GM. Even if they do fix the problem I wouldnt ever allow any future car to be taken to Copart. If I could give negative stars I would!
They are so nice an polite
Busy but faster than some other locations
Need improvement on customer service
The staff are super friendly and thoroughly explain the process of auctions and how to. The only issues I had were, we only had 30 minutes in the lot or we could look at 5 vehicles while u r also escorted. I understand controlling for pilferage but the time limit was not enough time to go through the over 1k cars they have there. Maybe the escort was to also stop someone from sabotaging a vehicle in order to score a better deal for themselves. Either reason it was at best barely annoying and still fantastic visit.
Very accomodating and informative. Search and save, pre-bid options free you up so you dont have to be present (on line) at auctions all the time.
The website says they close at 5. Drove all the way up there and get told. that lot closes at 2 drove the 2 hours back home to go back up the next day drive the 2 hours back up there for a runs and drives vehicle and get told on that lot all vehicles have to be towed off the lot. Someone could of told us that yesterday! Definitely wont be getting a car from Them again.
Had to wear a Democrat mask
Customer service needs improvement
Very professional 👍, Nancy was quick and easy. Im a transporter for R&B out out Texas, and you know time is money. So thanks 😊.
Covid precautions really place a hardship on the customer. Waited 10 minutes watching at least 10 employees avoid eye contact before someone comes to the counter.
Great staff. Friendly helpfulAll around a great Copart location
Used to be a good place for alot of us dealers to buy cars but since people on social media making videos there it has been hard to buy and sell cars when your customers come in and say i saw that car on so and sos channel and i wouldnt buy it because this is wrong with it even though you may have fixed it properly and then they run their mouth to other customers and they try to make you the bad person for making a honest living i myself along with many others from the dealers association have put an end to buying cars for this reason.
Big company with small company values would use again if I had opportunity
I had one of my own personal cars I purchased from a customer that needed some engine work stolen by Copart!!. It had been sitting a while and it disappeared about three weeks ago. Was just about to file a police report when I got a call from Copart and they informed me they took the wrong car from our lot. They had been calling about picking up a Mini for a customer that insurance wanted to total out and I kept telling them it wasn’t ready. The tow truck driver that brought my car back informed me that he came to pick up my customers car and said he couldn’t find it but there was a Mini here that the vin didn’t match on. The dispatch lady told him to take it anyways!!! REALLY?!! Well there is damage everywhere on the body and undercarriage. They have been giving me the runaround for weeks. Telling me the damage was already there and when they told me to send pictures and a quote for the damage no one will return my calls or emails. Not once had anyone apologized for any of it either. Absolutely a joke of a company!
Complete Scam. Buyers be ware. I bought a car listed as run and drive with minor dents and scratches. It came with a failed transmission requiring complete replacement. Their listing didnt say anything about mechanical damage and theyll not help at all.
Friendly staff. Very helpful for what I needed. Place was clean and well organized
I bought a vehicle from them, it was posted as an Iowa clean title but the title they gave me was an Iowa salvage title. They told me to take it back to their auction and will refund my tow fees, but now, after two months of waiting, the office manage LINDA is saying that the manager doesnt feel like refunding us, I would not trust any promise they make, secure that they will make good on their promises first before agreeing to their requests
Very poorly run company. No communication skills what so ever. Waited 8 hours for a wrecker to come pick up my vehicle. NO CALL NO SHOW.Finally after 8 hours waiting I call and their wrecker broke down. There are dependable wreckes services all over OKC with less than 8 hours waiting time.
Over charged on truck. It was one price but got extra non needed fees added on and they screwed up the title to the truck. Went through all kinds of issues trying to get my membership straightened out because they messed it up. I will never buy another vehicle or anything from copart ever again.
Very slow and needs parking for pickup
Every time I come in to input my bids in the computer, all of the ladies up front have been super nice. They are the only ones I’ve ever dealt with there.
Busy place with very little time for buyers. What puzzles me is why the canned autoresponse to every complaint rather than taking time to individually addressing the issue? Something to consider.
When they say “Runs and drives” don’t believe it! They obviously can’t be trusted.
I was at this facility on 10-24-17 to inspect a vehicle and a tractor driver there was very polite and professional. Very helpful. Not mean like the tractor drivers at the Tulsa facility.
Short wait an very friendly service. There public restroom, but there working on putting one in . Fair an clean . Fast service from the loader guys . I do recommend copart .
When I first called for an estimate to sell for my wrecked car, I thanked them for the estimate and told an employee named Mark that I would be doing a bit more research and might call back, if their price was the best. I was met with resistance and was boorishly told that this was the best offer that I would get for my car (Note: not true by a LONG SHOT. I got more than double what Copart offered). He then called me back later than evening asking if I had done more research with other companies. I told him that I had found a salvage yard that would pay what I was looking for ($1,000, as opposed to the measly $450 Copart was offering). Mark acted as though he didnt believe me, INSISTING that I tell him the name of the company that was buying my car. When I said I wasnt comfortable giving him that information he said, and I quote, Are you telling me there is some secrecy law that keeps you from telling me that? RUDE. Copart, and Mark in particular, get your customer service in line. When I say Im going with another company, dont hound me about it. I am baffled by the service of this company, and am SO thankful that I kept shopping around. I would genuinely give you zero stars, if that were possible.
Exciting for me
My daughter car was totaled and had to come here to give title, the ladies were very friendly and helpful. They either knew the answer or they found out the answer.
Nice friendly people
They will call you incessantly to pick up your car before your insurance even tells you they want to total your car. Good God.
Nice and big plenty of cars. Although if you go during inclement weather I would take some shoes you dont like because its very very muddy.
Good customer service if you buy a car from there just tow it don’t drive it. Car is running drive always has a problem
Do NOT buy from this Copart. It is a mess. Not only did they lose the title to our car, but they lost the keys which their website said the car had as well as there is no way the car ran and drove when it got to Copart (like they said it did) cause it had an imploded battery. The car had major mechanical problems but the damage was listed as Front End/Minor Dents. NO MECHANICAL WAS LISTED. These people are con-artists, stay with the other states Coparts and avoid Oklahoma.
Still working through growing pains. Copart should should consider offset lunches, or let customers know of a better time for service.
I have bought two cars thru them and both have said run and drive and both didnt. They had machanical Problems. Both of them. So it seems to me they dont actually check the cars to see if they work or not
Want to give like half a star. Had a wreck and my insurance sent my vehicle here. Went to get my possessions and instead of my important paperwork and other items being in the vehicle they were in the bed of the truck and got rained on. Ruining paperwork and books that are for my child. So infuriated and wish I could give them negative stars.
We mailed all documents for a total loss through Allstate to this Copart lot. They told Allstate that the title was not received. I told our Allstate agent that the title was included with all other documents. She called Copart, who claimed to check but could not find it. Dissatisfied with that response, I called Copart directly and dealt with a very rude representative over the phone. I asked her specifically what was in the envelope. She told me the other documents that were included but claimed no title was with them. I asked her to check the envelope again to see if the title might not have been pulled out when it was opened. She claimed that all envelopes are shredded after opening.Lo and behold, five minutes later, Allstate called back to say that Copart had magically located the missing title... in the envelope.
Nice friendly service and relatively fast service for as busy as they were
Unfortunately no way to give zero stars. Lady attending the keys name Malisha l (or however you spell her name)had nothing but attitude and over ridiculous stuff too. Vehicles were not in correct locations based on website and it was hours until auction. Vehicles didn’t have proper big numbered white tags on them. Some had paint marker where most the numbers weren’t even readable. All around worst one I have been to and I have bought in multiple different states. Will never go back there!
That was a very bad experience working with them. They are hiding too many things. Make sure to ask them all things. Their bussince like a scam. Watch out about Mike. I dont recommend at all.
They handled my business quickly.
Got a great deal on a car for my son.
They like to waste your time fatty chickens
12/15/20: Im convinced something illegitimate is going on. I look at every vehicle every sale and still see fishy things going on. I could write a book on things that happen that shouldnt.Selling a vehicle seems to be a hassle if your not a dealer. You have no control at all and you are left in the dark. They dont tell you anything. I was told I had to call in to get the status of my vehicle. There is no connection when you log in, so you cant see anything about your own vehicle. On sale day, it apparently sold but I received zero contact from copart. Then it seemed to get lost in their paperwork. Most employees were clueless and kept saying they didnt know with me being a private seller. Im very disappointed in the selling aspect being a private individual. So many people buying now that its hard to get a good deal. Lots of people buying to fix up and keep for themselves but they are willing to pay retail for a wrecked car and not figure in repair or other cost. Other than that, pretty good experience with staff and facility. Update: Ive tried to bid on a few more vehicles but people are still bidding up and paying too much for a wrecked vehicles. Plus the increased bidding fees/buying cost added to winning bid makes me not want to bid. I dont know who is paying premium prices on wrecked cars, but its not worth while.
The staff here are courteous. Did not get to deal with the yard guys, hence only 4 stars.
Wonderful, helpful staff, very knowledgeable and friendly.
Good place to buy cars but the fees are off the charts
Very polite people work at this place very thorough and very expeditious
Some times they have a good dealsFor end users.
Great people with exceptional honesty and integrity.
Bad business practices
I work here
Best place to buy used cars
Great selection to get a used car for cheap prices
Friendly staff and very helpful. Great experience
Great place to buy used cars if they could monitor, keep the thieves from stealing parts when they go check the cars out to buy!!!!!😈
Nice
Really nice and helpful staffs.
My man had fun
Very Courteous Staff
Bought car but havent received the keys, even though it says keys are available.tgey didnt reimburse the money for it . If you want to go look for cars there u got to wait some times more than 45 mins to 1 hr just to go in yard . And u only can see 5 cars sucks .copart is getting worse every passing day. And copart owner not give a damn about - ve reviews. He only reply positive reviews
Friendly staff Dee is Awesome
My insurance company moved my vehicle here after an accident. Rudest most unprofessional place ever. Stole stuff out of our car and have been nearly impossible to work with. Would give zero stars if possible.
