Terrible place to go!!!!I have had my car less than a month and there’s transmission and electrical issues. They told me I have to go to the service place that they 3rd party out of and pay $100.00 to get it repaired. I just paid to get the car plus my first couple of payments. They do not do any type of inspections before they put it on the lot. I have always made my payments on time every other Friday and I just want out of my lease contract. I will never recommend anyone to this place at all.

Horrible place!!! Sold me a car on the 2nd it was broke down by the 10th, my car has been in the shop for a month now & there still not finished!! Talk to the gm she knows nothing! Everything you ask her the answer is damn near I don’t know. Also wants you to call the people & do her job for her. It’s sad to see someone in such a high position with most authority but don’t know anything! She couldn’t tell me one thing about my vehicle but wants me to make a payment on the 20th yet my car is still not finished & highly doubt if it will even be done Monday either. The care store okc is a pure trash & a headache just don’t waste your time!Update: Now here it is Monday & guess what? MY CAR STILL IS NOT FINISHED 😡 exactly what I figured

Absolute horrible place to buy a car from. I was buying a 2010 hhr had gotten it repoed back ealy this year got my car back in late may havent been able to drive my car since June 15th at which point i was still up to date on payments here it is almost November and still no car to drive and i quit making my payments when stephanie told me not to make another payment until we got it fixed now that im 2 payments pass due they wanna repo the car again and im still stuck without a car drive. $6000 lesson learned the hard way. Dont buy anything from these people

Just had to say the people here were awesome and the experience was absolutely great. We were helped by Smitty and it was well deserved for a 5 star review and if there was more I would be happy to give more stars. Smitty helped work with not only our budget but also made sure we were well informed about the services we had with our vehicle as well as making sure we did not leave without a vehicle. I am definitely recommending the car store to all my friends working on finding a vehicle soon because I have never had service in the car industry like my fiance and I had here. Its hard to do something like purchase a vehicle or leasing one and feel like you can relax and be normal but this place here, they make sure you do just that.! I came here because two former coworkers recommended me but I see now that they did it to be spiteful ! I came in and after a credit check,the salesperson told me I would be eligible for a 2013 Sonic with over 150,000 miles on it for $11,000. Me,not having any experience with car buying or cars,decided to go along with it ! I put $100 down and told them I would bring the rest of the down payment in. I was also told my monthly payment would be $450 a month for a car that old with that many miles on it,bringing the total cost to around $23,000 !!!! I talked to all of my coworkers and they told me Hell no,its a scam and definitely not worth it ! So when I called and told them I would not be buying the car and I would like my $100 back,they said it was non refundable, even though the car had not moved off the lot ! I would not recommend this place to no one because all they do is scam and try to take advantage ! Do not go here !!!!!

Horrible place. The first car I got from them was fine, lasted a year until it got totaled out in an accident and paid off ( I wasnt at fault) Went through them for another car due to not having issues the first time, bad decision. They sold me an Equinox, numerous issues it kept going in and out of the shop at their expense, but I had to find alternate transportation in the meantime, biggest issue of all was when he engine blew in it! All with in less than 4 weeks! Jay the sales mgr gave me the option of waiting on repair (up to 2 weeks) which they were covering under the warranty, but wasnt willing to give me a loaner car. I later found out the warranty included rental car reimbursement (my fault for not reading the fine print) but Jay the sales mgr failed to tell me this or didnt know himself? So I went with another car because I needed to get to work and couldnt keep renting cars wasting money....it was another lemon, it broke down in less than 2 weeks. Even after I purchased a new 200$ battery for it out of my pocket. It still had electrical issues so I told them to pick it up and Jay told me it would not be a repossession on my credit due to all the money I put down on the Equinox and rental cars I paid for in this 6 week time frame. Lies!! Im in the process of getting the repossession off my credit report now. I would NOT recommend The Car Store LLC on South Shields Blvd. Horrible experience with a poor sales staff and a liar for a sales manager by the name of Jay. Markita the front desk agent is the only good employee there, great customer service and always smiling. Other than that they will rip you off.

Here is the truth about the Car Store. I have been dealing with the car store going on 5 years. Were on are 4 car from there. They have always been great to me. I can call and its first name basis. They have always treated me and my family great. I sent my sister and now she is on her second car with them. In the past they have not had what I was looking for, they ask me what do you want, and a week later I get a call. Guess what they went out and found it for me. Yes they will kill your car if you dont make the payments, but that not there fault its yours, and yes it has happen to me, more then once. All Im saying if you need a good car, and dont have the credit to go somewhere else. These guys are the best out there. I have the credit now, but I still go there. I just bought my wife her 2 car from them, and Ill keep coming back. PS: car store Im needing a nice 4x4 truck.

I have been leasing through the car store for a couple years now. I wasnt able to get car from several of their competitors because my credit was horrific, but they took a chance on me even helped with my down payment so I can get insurance. My car note a month is affordable, Ive never missed a payment and I am only two months from being paid off. I have had a wonderful experience with them and when I am in need of a new car I am definitely coming back to the ones who knew I wouldnt let them down. Now Im about to have car paid off, my credit score has gone up tremendously, and I have a way to get back and forth to work each day!Plus, they gave a 200 incentive if the lease bring in a new lease holder. I wish I could give 0 stars! I never give bad reviews, but I had to this time. For starters the customer service was horrible! No greetings or smiles when you walk in. They all looked uninterested.The two girls at the front desk would hang up with customers and then talk so bad about them. Im pretty sure the manager/ supervisor heard them but really didnt care apparently.When I met with the car salesman he was very friendly, at first. After he said I was approved I was very excited! Unfortunately, he said he only one option for me. Out of the whole car lot you only have one option??? He took me to the vehicle and I was instantly disappointed. It was over the price range I told him in the first place. He kept trying to push me into getting the car. He would not even show me anything else.I understand sales and this was not it! I left feeling hurt and bullied. It was a waste of time. I would never refer anyone to this place.

I was happy when I first got my car here in December 2014. However now things are going wrong on the car. I was supposed to have an extended warranty but service wont fix anything on my car stating nothing is covered. Then management wants to argue. Whatever happened to the customer being right. I have referred people here only to have them treated unprofessionally. Ill fix whats wrong with car elsewhere & never do business here again.I wont change my rating. The service department is now refusing to do any work on the car until my appointment on 10/11. I told them its unsafe & their response was so we are supposed to put everyone else on golf to fix your car & I told them no just let me drop it off & you work it in since thats what you did when you tried to fix the issue thats still unfixed. I was told to come back on my appointment or get an attorney.

Bought a car in July and only had it for maybe 2 months. Now it has been in their hands since then supposedly at the Ford dealership getting fixed. I got my car back for one day in that mean time and it broke down the same day I got it. The managers dont get on the phone and transfer you all over just so they dont have to deal with you. Best thing to do is not get a car here. They are just there for a paycheck and not worried about others who work as well and dont con people.

Sales man was very nice. However the place is a customer killer. They only do lease to own, and offer no cash deals. Low payment in and charge around 500/month with a balloon at the end. Its made to repo and resell.

Great payments, always are professional, and I have had issues with my car it was no problem for them to handle it. I did have to make an appointment but they were great, and I couldnt be happier with them! I also won a TV 2014! This place is a authentic Lemon Dealership. They will lie, say theyll​ give you a loaner vehicle, when repairs are needed. Theyve never honored the false statements my salesgirl sold to me. They say ANYTHING to get your money. The staff are rude, faceous! If you want to be ripped off, this is your place. They prey, taking advantage of people on social security/disability, bad credit, living​ paycheck to paycheck. Please go somewhere else, they wont help you build good credit. Ask any of their (Un)satisfied customers.You can tell when theyre lying, their lips are moving.

This place leased us a van. Which we thought we were buying. We also had to buy the tag. Which makes no sense since were supposedly leasing. Didnt give us time to read anything. The electrical is going in and out. Transmission is going out. Then they sold out to someone in less than a month. Before we could even pay the first payment. Claimed they didnt know. Just found out we got the vehicle without a jack in it. Had a flat tire is how we found out.

I made a call to them this week looking to get a car for my daughter. The woman on the other end of the line was very disinterested and hateful. I really hope someone does something about her. She essentially told me that if I wanted to ask questions I needed to come to the location because she wasnt going to give me anymore information over the phone. I asked her to speak to her manager and she got hateful saying that she was the manager. Hope someone does something about her. I know based on her attitude I definitely will not be shopping at the car store.

Completely ignored every request I ever made since purchasing my vehicle. Promised that they would fix my door handle and never returned phone calls. 2 months later and its still not done. The front desk is nice and all, but your sales manager is a prick.

I was happy when I first got my car just like any person would be but then one day I call and ask for my balance and was told by their csr that its only this amount but then you still have to pay the residual amount in order to purchase the car i was really upset to find out all the car payments Ive been making was like Ive been renting a vehicle going on 3 yrs I will not ever do business with them a again not will I refer a single person.

Anyone thinking of making a purchase from these people need to thinking really closely about buying from them because they will rip you off, there Craigslist add of 399.99 down is garbage they charge only 800 to get any vehicle and they tell you every month you will be paying 470.00 or 235.00 a paycheck but if you get and extra pay check that month they will charge you another payment of 235.00also consider what it will cost for you to go with them when you buy any car on there lot its going to cost you double of the cost of the vehicle. My car is only worth around 8 to 9,000 dollars and guess what I am going to end up paying around 18,000 by the time its payed off so that is almost 50% interest so please reconsider from buying from them unless you want to end up like where I am at.

They will get you in a car in a timely matter but will the car work after you purchase it? It sure will not I’ve been having my car for a total of 5 months well technically 4 if u count the month they had it while they repaired the transmission which is messed up again after having it back for almost 2 months smh and they also will not give u a loaner while they “fix” the vehicle and they will not let you switch cars after you point out to them that the car is janky I’ll say 5 thumbs down and don’t stop here keep driving to save u money and a headache
