Absolutely terrible experience! Michael from A to Z Tire is a liar and will say anything to extract their inspection fee.I dropped the vehicle off on Thursday Afternoon (9/23/2021) to have a tire sensor checked, report rear wobble and have the rear wheel well inspected to verify there was no cross threading.I called A to Z Automotive and Tire at 12:18 PM CST on Friday (9/24/2021) to ask about update and was told by Michael that they haven’t inspected the vehicle yet.Invoice marks initial inspection as being completed at 12:22 PM CST.I was called at 4:37 PM CST on Friday (9/24/2021) and was told by Michael that my rear brake pads and rotors are completely bad and need to be replaced immediately. The fee to replace the rear brake pads and tires would be $550. He also informed me that he took my vehicle on a test drive to make sure there was no rear wobble in the tires.I arrived at 7:45 on Saturday morning (9/25/2021) to pick up the vehicle. The invoice showed a charged for $11.65 fee for ‘shop supplies’ with no explanation. The odometer did not change at all and the vehicle was not test driven as Michael had said.I was charged a $115 inspection fee, which was the exact same price as adjusting the emergency brake, a service that was declined. I was also told that if work was performed at A to Z Automotive and Tire, then the inspection fee (the same as the fee for the work proposed) would be waived.I took my vehicle to a secondary garage for a second opinion and was informed my rear brake pads and rotors weren’t anywhere close to needing replacement and there were no issues with the vehicle.Michael from A to Z tire was completely untruthful. No service was needed on my vehicle aside from airing up the tires, which was not done.

DO NOT recommend this place. Took my car in for lowering springs installation. 1 1/2 days later, car is delivered to me UNFINISHED. Major connection from the front damper to sway bar was NOT bolted on. Lug nuts were over torqued and loose. Passenger side spring was not installed correctly, didnt know if they installed it per manufacturers installation instructions (cut bump stops before installing springs), and on top of that, my car came back damaged! My Brembos were chipped to bare metal and grease/oil stained onto my paint. Asked for a refund, owner said no becuase work was already done yet I had to finish the job after driving home. Owner also said calipers look like that when you take a wench to them, why would you take a wrench to brembos when theyre not supposed to be worked on? With that being said, they offered to correct their mistakes but why would I go back after my car was damaged? Still waiting on a reply after stating that he would do the same thing if he was in my shoes. I mean, who wouldnt ask for a refund after being delivered an unfinished car with damages that it never had?

A-Z was Great all the way around, first off they really took care of me, especially when it came to explaining, and making it easy to understand about each of the tire brands I was considering before my final decision. I know, they made me a great deal, turn key, including an alignment on a Brand New set of Cooper Tires. Cooper Tire has just came out with this New Truck Tire Design . Great recommendation, I really like the way these tires not only look on my Truck but the ride is great . The rubber compound is quite, and they are an aggressive tire, the great thing is at higher speeds on the Highway, they are great, and are super quite. I was really worried about that, but they are really nice driving, and quite to. The pricing A-Z gave me was very competitive. The entire deal was still less, than the other places I had shopped prior. Great Job, to Kevin, and his whole crew, I will definitely be back, and recommend A-Z tire to everyone I know .

These guys will try and take advantage of you. My wife had a flat so she took her car to them to fix it, (which we have done before without issue) they said they couldnt fix the tire and they all had to be replaced since its all wheel drive. We agreed since my wife needed her car working. They charged us $130+ install/tire for some cheap chinese tires that cost $75 anywhere else. They also said her brakes were in really bad shape and needed to be replaced asap. We also paid for an alignment and oil change. All of this together took 3 hours to get done. When my wife left she immediately noticed bad road noise and the car pulling to the right (not something that happened before the tires were changed) she took the car back today to check it and before they even looked at it said that the wheel hub was bad. (Not on their previous vehicle inspection) I told my wife to bring it home and I would replace the wheel hub. I picked up a hub and went to install it and notice that 1, the brakes werent in bad shape at all, and 2, there was no play in the wheel hub or noise coming from it when I inspected it. Im taking the vehicle to another shop tomorrow to figure out what they did.Stay away from this place if you dont want to be ripped off. Also, take a look at their positive reviews, most of them are from accounts with only one or two reviews 🤔

Automotive repair can be very stressful with parts/labor. However, A to Z is a locally owned full service shop that specializes more than just tires. I own a older BMW X5 “out of warranty”that required some specific attention and hands down being able to discuss “face to face” with the staff as well as the owner sets A to Z on a platinum level. They keep your vehicle inside the shop from start to finish away from weather or unwanted people while your vehicle is worked on. I appreciate the professionalism from start to finish and recommend checking out if your car has needs and you want “your hard earned dollar” go back to the vehicle.

Unethical business. They use bait-and-switch tactics to lure customers in by advertising or quoting low prices for alignments and other basic auto services, but then make every attempt to upsell and increase their prices by fabricating additional repairs that are not needed. They also add extra service fees to the bill without discussing them beforehand with customers, such as their so-called $89.00 diagnostic fee which they will charge customers for taking even a simple glance at their car, regardless if any alignment or repairs are performed or not. Simply put, be prepared to be taken for a loop, and be ready to have your wallet drained dry by this company.

A to Z is one of the best auto shops in OKC. The staff is both professional, personable and honest with their work. I have never felt they tried to upsell me or tried to clear inventory. They work with you to get you what you need. Recently I purchased some new tires, and after talking with Kyle for a few minutes, he pulled up some tire choices of exactly what I was needing. They were able to get them on my vehicle in about 40 minutes and even noticed my spares winch was broken, so repaired that for me. If you are in the market for some new tires or your auto needs some repair, I highly recommend you check out A to Z and see what they can do for you.

I had a very negative experience here several months ago. After an... interesting text exchange (which i still have for posterity) from who i am assuming is the manager, in which nothing was resolved i wrote the business off and was going to drop it, but after a recent discovery, enough is enough.I brought these guys my suv, along with several parts to be installed. Included were new shocks, lowering kit (which they ASSURED ME they were familiar with, and would be no problem), shock relocation brackets, lowering bumpstops, sway bar, kyb steering stabilizer, front end parts, brake master cyl, pitman and idler arm. The lowering kit was one from a major manufacturer specifically for my vehicle. They quoted me 1800 in labor only to install and align this stuff, a bit high, bit reasonable, as it it a lot of work. The next day, they called and said some axles i had brought were for a 4wd, not a 2wd, so didnt apply. No problems, the install continued. I came to pick it up a few days later (after no further communication), and was greeted with a smile, as always. These guys are very friendly! I paid them the $1800 as agreed, and went to see my freshly lowered vehicle. What a joke. The cargo area of my vehicle was filled with parts they didnt install. The bumpstops- not installed. The brake booster- not installed. The pittman arm- not installed. The idler arm- not installed. The shock relocation brackets- not installed. The kyb steering stabilizer- not installed. I asked why they didnt, you know, install the stuff i paid them to install, and was fed the same stupid excuse of this is for 4wd vehicles. I was, to put it mildly, dumbfounded. What? Idler and pittman arm, as well as brake booster i KNEW for a FACT were not 4wd specific on my vehicle, but the other stuff i was unsure of, so i collected my vehicle, and left, intending to do more checking and figure out how to proceed. I contacted the manufacturer of the kit and was informed (as i was already pretty sure), that the parts were NOT 4wd specific, and did, in fact, need installed for correct suspension geometry and ride. Then a to z reached out to me via text to ask how my experience was. I told him of the issues, he checked with his pro mechanics and confirmed that he really thought they were correct, even though i showed him proof to the contrary. I then asked why i paid the full 1800 if they didnt do all the work, and was told some idiotic drivel about thats billed as shop labor blah blah. Fine. Even after ALL of this nonsense, i was going to let it go, and chalk it up as a loss, no review, move on. I was so irritated i sold the vehicle to a friend, disclosing the issues. He took it home, and has been installing the parts himself (shockingly, with no issues. Weird. Its almost like a to z didnt know what they were talking about. Odd huh?). I thought this stupid saga was over until this morning. My friend tests me pics. He went to install the rear shock relocation brackets, (you know, the ones a to z said werent needed, but ARE?) and found that they INSTALLED THE REAR SHOCKS UPSIDE DOWN. What kind of day one apprentice, shouldnt be allowed to WASH a car, let alone work on one, bullmess is this? What kind of clownshow you guys got going on there? You charged me full price to not only NOT do all the work, but to do some of the work you DID do wrong. Do okc a favor and close down if this is the quality and ethics you have to offer. A to z- you guys have my number and the ability to text. Shoot me a text if youd like to see the latest nonsense yall did. But Im sure youll try and say thats how you do it on 2wd vehicles, or some such nonsense.

They were polite and helpful but beware when you purchase a tire from them that the manufacturer year may be over 2 years old. They sold me a tire that was 2 yrs and 4 months old which is almost half way through the Rubber Associations tire life of 6 years. Most companies will not sell you a tire over 1 year because of this. They also sold it to me at full price without asking me if I was ok with that age so I will not be returning to them for any additional services. Also, the BG services they sale are MUCH cheaper through the dealership. They sold me a service for over $100 that the dealership offered for $40 with an oil change.

We dropped off the car because it was overheating again and they had replaced the water pump less than 6 months earlier so we wanted to make sure the water pump hadn’t gone out again as it is under warranty. They came back with a $688 quote to replace the radiator talking fast about his 0% 90 Day no interest financing. We decided not to repair the car as it is 12 years old. Michael called back several hours later offering to repair it for $600 and again offering his 90 day no interest financing. (I can buy a radiator, hoses and thermostat for $100 online). I again told them no and we would pick up car the next day. Due to logistics issues we are having the car towed home with our towing service and all of a sudden they have a $69.99 Diagnostics fee before they will release the car. Never told us that when we dropped the car off, nor the other 2 times I spoke to Michael on the phone. In my 40 plus years of car ownership and numerous dealings with auto mechanics I’ve NEVER been charged a diagnostics fee when we opted to not repair a vehicle.

This is without a doubt the most honest and trustworthy group of people Ive ever dealt with in the automotive repair / tire business. I have several stories to support this statement but rather than write a novel here, Ill keep it to just one. I recently took my F150 to the Ford Dealership (Ill refrain from naming them) and had my oil changed with whats called The Works which means they check all the fluids and rotate tires. They say they do a 26 point check with this deal. When they finished, they told me I needed brakes on the front and it would be $200 unless I needed rotors in which case it would be closer to $650. They also told me that my brakes were almost metal to metal and I needed to make a decision about it quickly. I told them I didnt want to do it that day, left and immediately called A to Z because I had taken my sons Jeep there a number of times and two of my other stories come from these Jeep repairs so I knew I could trust them. A to Z quoted $160 for the brakes and they sent me coupons that included one for a free brake inspection so about 2 weeks later I finally had the time to take it to them (worrying the entire 2 weeks that I was going to end up needing rotors if I didnt get it in). I even told them what the Ford place told me about them being metal to metal. So I dropped my truck off and they called me about an hour later and said I still had about 10,000 miles left on my pads! Thats about 6 months for me! Given that I had told them about what Ford said, they could have changed my pads and charged me the $160 or even told me I needed the rotors and I wouldnt have doubted them because after all, the Ford place said the same thing. I would never have known the difference. They didnt do that. They told me the truth and saved me all that money. Ford allowed me to stress for 2 weeks thinking I was going to mess my rotors up and they tried to charge me $200 - maybe even $650 - for brake pads that still had 10,000 miles left on them. The Ford place treated me like Ive been treated my entire driving life. A to Z treated me right. They are honest and they do excellent work. The repairs to the Jeep which ranged from steering parts to fuel pump to new tires were reasonably priced and the Jeep has been running great since. Highly recommend.

Had a blowout throwing me up on the curb and ruining two tires! Went in to get tires replaced with road hazard warranty. Was told that there was a square hole cut in sidewall and road hazard wouldnt cover it. How do you drive on tires that have a hole in the sidewall?? Especially 30 miles. I was told that manufacture wouldnt replace tires so they wouldnt. I didnt buy the tires from the manufacture.......I bought the tires from them!! Always extra parts needed. Kept car far too long for work done. Im Through, Just Beware.

They wanted to charge me 2000.00 to fix something that cost 50.00 dollars I refused and told them to send my car back to me when I got it back my Cadillac converter was stolen off my truck while it was on their property or during the transition to their property. When I called to get the situation cleared up the manager was very rude and didnt care about the situation that happened on his property. I paid them 269.50 to tow my car back to me the same day instead they kept my car and returned it the next business day with a missing Cadillac converter. I work very hard for my money and Im very angry and disappointed with this company and I advise you to stay clear of this place. I need to know if anyone else has had problems with theft with these people...... THIS IS NOT OVER BY A LONG SHOT...
