Smicklas Collision Center is the BEST! They towed my vehicle to them in the afternoon and had my estimate ready to go within 2 days. Brad was super helpful with all of my questions and keeping me informed with updates on my vehicle. We had minor front end damage to our 2009 Nissan Murano LE took it to the Smicklas Collision Center for repairs. They worked with the other driver’s insurance company for repairs and settlement. I was told it would only take about three days but later discovered additional damage was found after the repairs were started on the vehicle. . I was told of the damage and addition time required. The vehicle was delivered when stated. I found the vehicle clean and all repairs done as stated. The headlamps were noticed to have been fogged over and the service technician buffed both lamps without being asked making the vehicle look so much better. The staff was friendly and professional on this visit.

A two week job turned into having to wait over 2 months. Truck sat out in the parking lot for 2 weeks before it even got touched. Kept getting told multiple times it would be done on a certain day and kept getting pushed back over and over. And over. If I wanted any updates I had to call and ask. There were several times I was told the vehicle could be done on a certain day and I would go wash my rental vehicle and make arrangements to get the vehicle picked up and would not receive a phone call at all. A couple days later I would call to see what was going on with the vehicle since I was told it would be done on a certain day and I would never receive any communication. I would be told that they would check on the vehicle and get right back with me. That never happened unless I called again. This is the first review I have ever written. I have never left a negative review before but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered. The insurance actually had to call me and say they could no longer extend my rental vehicle because the shop was taking so long on a job that shouldn’t have taken over a couple of weeks AT MOST.
Not all work they were paid for was completed.
A truck backed into my wifes car and took out the front corner and crumpled pretty much everything near it. These guys did an amazing job of restoration that it looks like it was new off the lot again. We also appreciated they were upfront and communicative throughout the whole process. I ordered some Black Bowties for my new truck and was quoted a RIDICULOUS price to have them installed, I then remembered I had similar work done to my old truck so I took them to Carlos in the Collision Center, not only did he quote me a reasonably lower price, he also got me in and out the same day. Had to spend over $360 out of pocket to get my car fixed somewhere else because they failed to fully fix my vehicle after an accident, and then tried to tell me it was because of another part that had nothing to do with the problem. AC worked when I dropped it off, I tried to tell them it didnt work from the day I picked up the car. No freeon in the AC when I brought it to my mechanic. They didnt fully diagnose the problem instead blaming it on another issue. I guess the customer is not always right here. Not to mention both times vehicle was in there shop I asked them to change the oil and it never got changed.
I unavoidably hit a piece of tire on the interstate which caused significant damage to the underside of my car. Not only did Smicklas Collision Center handle EVERYTHING with my insurance company, but they provided drop-off service for my rental car when I picked up my repaired car, which, by the way, had been freshly detailed inside and out. Every single person that I interacted with (Carlos, Gene, and Kelsey) were top-notch professionals. The customer service at Smicklas Collision Center is outstanding!

After almost 60 days, still waiting to get car back. Smicklas is picking up tab for rental car since I’ve used up all of insurance benefit, thank goodness. But this has been a poor experience. Only communication I’ve received is when I call them. And I’m puzzled why I’m receiving this survey prior to work completion. Unhappy with this whole experience which is odd because last April they did fantastic job on repair. Will not use Smicklas again.
I was extremely pleased with the body shop service and short turnaround time on my pickup. They were pleasant and reactive to my needs. I would not hesitate recommending them or using them with any of my future needs. The price was slightly higher than other quotes I received but the service and workmanship offset the price difference.
I used smicklas in the past and had a great experience but not this time around. My biggest issue was the communication with the person That was handling my case. I never once received a call to give me any information on my truck. I had to call to ask and them and would be told I would be called back and then nothing. I really try not to complain but it was extremely frustrating. First day I was told I would be called by the end of the day with an estimate and 3 days later I had to call. All the way up to pick up was told I would definitely get a call between 10-12 to let me know what time I could pick up my truck. Of course didn’t happen so I called and spoke with Gene right before 1 who was very nice and told me he would personally call me when it was done. Gene did call and a few hours after he called the gentleman I was working with finally called to let me know it was done. The truck looks great but the costumer service experience definitely will keep me from returning! If this review was based on just customer service it would be 0 stars

Superior service. I received updates from the collision center every day. The repair was finished before the estimated time, car looked like new, and was absolutely spotless inside and out. Im very happy.
The car was repaired beautifully, but the communication was very poor. Besides one phone call and a couple of emails, I recieved no updates or follow ups until the car was finished. Additionally, we had a couple of false starts when it came time to pick up. I had to extend my rental two times to accommodate this. After I got my car back (which took a month), I noticed my tire had been damaged in the collision and this was missed in the estimate. Furthermore, when I got the tire replaced under warranty by Discount Tire, it was brought to my attention that two of my clad wheel nuts were replaced by cheap zinc pieces. So again, the car looks amazing, but this shop needs to focus on details and possibly not so much volume, as to better serve their customers.
If youre ever given the choice whether to use this shop or ANYONE else nearby, make sure you dont pick this place. They will play games with you the whole time your car is in the shop. What I mean by this is that if your car appears to be not salvageable they will write a bogus estimate for your insurance company claiming that they can fix it for a very low price so they dont pay you the totaled value of your vehicle. Sure there could be some hidden damage but that should be found at the break down or part of the way through the repairs NOT a day before the vehicle has to be picked up. Especially when the day of pickup has already been extended plenty. I dont know how they treat their cash paying customers as I went through the insurance but I can tell you that once they get the thumbs up from the insurance after their bogus numbers, you wont be satisfied with their service. How does an 8,700 dollar repair turn into an 11+ thousand dollar repair a day before the car is to be returned to the owner? When you ask the service adviser whether the insurance company was aware theyll reassure you that yes, the insurance company was made aware yet when you call your company they will tell you the opposite. Theyll promise you a call back immediately but instead youll call them a week later since you never heard back. At this point theyll put you on hold while they contact the insurance company and theyll lie that yes they did in fact contact them yet when you ask the insurance company, they werent contacted until 5 minutes prior. Overall this has been a terrible experience and if you value your time and dont want constant headaches, make sure you go somewhere else for help. Oh did I mention the paint on the bumper didnt match that of the car? Yeah that also happened...
Had accident in Oklahoma. Took car to certified chevy collision center assuming they knew how to repair my car. After 2 weeks, picked it up only to discover once down the road the brand new radiator and reservoir tank were leaking and power steering pump. Fluid everywhere. There is NO WAY they didnt realize the work they did was not correct. Very disappointing. Knowingly sending out cars that are not repaired. Everything that is not working and leaking were brand new OEM parts they put in. Its like they were done, and had no concern regarding the fact it was being driven back to Kansas. I am very lucky my engine didnt blow!

Smicklas was recommended to me from the at faults insurer. I dropped my truck off with the shop, only to receive a call two days later to inquire as to when I would be bringing my truck in. After not hearing from Smicklas for quite some time, I inquired as to the status only to learn that it was complete and waiting for pick-up.I then had to return my vehicle to them for multiple repairs that had not been completed. Again, I had to inquire in order to get a status update.The truck was returned to me, still not in the pre-accident condition: Ill-fitting door and customization that was ignored.

Awesome service and very helpful. I needed a loaner vehicle as I use mine for work, so they notified me when they had one available. I dropped my vehicle off at around 9am and it was done the next day around the same time washed and shined up.
This is the most dishonest and lies telling garage I have ever fixed my car in. Very horrible customer service especially the director of the service department. The director dont care about the customers interest at all, its really sad for a business like this.
Actually I had the car towed to you, when I came in to sign for it, you said it might be totaled but you would call me for sure. Then you sent me text messages regularly updating me on the repairs. In fact the last message I got said it was 56% completed. I called my insurance company to ask about payment, and they told me the car had been totaled over a week ago, 8/3, which was the day I was in there. When I called you asked why all the text messages, you said it was a mistake. So why this text message now? This was a ridiculous mess! Communication was absolutely insane on this!!
This place is awesome!! I had dent a little bigger than basketball size, damage to the bumper and tail light damage. It was bad. These guys brought it back to life and looking brand new!! Will definitely be going back anytime I need body work.

The mechanics were great and informative. They walked me through the whole process of fixing my car. The only problem I had was about the receptionist. She was terrible on her communication and kept telling me the wrong dates about when my car was fixed whenever I called her. Thankfully, when I came in a week later, I was helped by a mechanic instead of the receptionist

Very appalled and beyond upset with this place. I Could not ever get a returned call or even an email back with an answer to my questions or concerns. Biggest pet peeve of mine and I think it very, very rude and unprofessional not to return a call in a timely manner. I would call on Monday or Tuesday morning and wouldn’t even hear from them by Friday at 5:00.(which I would of been fine with) but I never got a missed call or then leaving a voicemail saying I can’t find your answer, I working on it, I just don’t want you think I forgot about you. If they can’t leave a voicemail it shows a missed call letting that me know They tried to call back. Those few words would take 5 seconds to say even send in an email or they can send a text message to notify the date your vehicle would be ready so why can’t they text me say that. Not only did I never get a call back the work on my truck is still not fixed correctly and trying to wait patiently for a response ( going on 2 weeks)
Well... I have always had great experience with my cars before yesterday. My car was totaled and before I could take my personal belongings they released it to the junk yard.
People were nice but didnt communicate with me. I was promised to be picked up at the rental car place by Carlos. He never told me to call again when i got there.I ended up waiting 30 minutes outside and no one came until called again. Then I was told they were waiting for my call.Also i was told my car was finished but when i got there it the edges of the doors were not finished and had to be redone. The estimated time was sometime yesterday.You were nice enough to loan me a car but at this time i dont know when my car will be ready. I havent heard anything from you.

Eugene Costello was courteous and polite. But the service I was provided I feel was below average. Since when do we not do a inspection on the damage vehicle and was told verbatim that smicklas was going off what was faxed over to to them from the insurance company. I was not happy getting a call with an estimate that apparently the vehicle was never looked at and was based on what the Insurance sent over. What started out as a $2000 estimate ended up over $3000 and finally totalled 30 days after the accident because I had to point out some things that were not on what the provider sent over. While the provider cuts the check I am still the customer and I feel like I was not treated as such. The total lack of knowledge of the damage on the vehicle is very disturbing. Im not even going to go into the starter. I would have a tough time recommending smicklas body shop and since this is a team aspect nor would i would i consider smicklas to buy a vehicle. If this is how the body shop is ran what do i think of Smicklas as a whole. Yeah you asked for a short review but there is too many mistakes and a total lack of trust. The car was totaled and I wasnt even recommended to your sales department. Really?
Took longer than expected(my fault), specs of white paint were left of black trim(they are taking care of this), work looks good, maybe they just dont pay attention to the details. perhaps we should have inspected togeter before i left.

If I could leave a negative number I would. This is by far the worst body shop that I have ever dealt with. Kelly who was my estimator is a giant liar and never let me know what was going on with the vehicle. They tried to fix my bumper which was wrecked and put it back on. The workmanship was so bad the bumper was nearly falling off. They shouldve let me know what was going on, but they didnt. The body shop manager pretty much called me a liar when he told me some bolts were missing and I told him it was his shop who was working on my car and it was just fine when I brought it in. Casey is very dicourtious and very unprofessional. I would never recommend anybody to go to Smicklas again, dealership or bodyshop. Just a completely terrible place to do business.

If I could give this a negitive 5 star I would. We had a vehicle in the collision center, the paint on the hood is now chipped and bright white spots, which are different shades of white (with no clear coat and filled with a paint stick) on the hood from their car wash. The paint was not chipped when we dropped it off. Also the sunroof doesnt close due the interior roof padding being uneven/bent and also the rubber seal is damaged as well. I Called the General manager thinking we could fix it seeing how it was not like that when dropped off. He was the Rudest person in the facility telling me it was already chipped and he WILL NOT back it up and he would look at the sunroof but would not make a guarantee to fix it. He then told me to feel free to go else where!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY AWAY FROM SMICKLAS CHEVROLET!!

I had to take my car back to them 3 times. One time they scratched the gel out of the door, that took them a MONTH to fix. Got it back and there was a huge dent in the hood, this took 3 weeks. Then they had forgotten to hook something up... I drive around with a door that wouldnt lock for 2 weeks because they didnt have a loaner available DONT GO HERE!
