Fixed my phone fast and had it back within an hour! Excellent customer service!

Went in to replace rear camera glass not the camera lens itself. Gave it back with new glass but left debris and lint in the actual camera lens. Was told before turning in the phone to make sure it was cleaned before repair but it was not done. Now the technician states the camera is damaged showing black spots in the pictures. There is evidence of prior photos before phone was taken in of no black spots in the photos and they are time stamped so it is clear here that the customers are right and again here is another business who is trying to get away with doing minimal work instead of showing good work ethic and morals

Came in today to get my back glass replaced on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5g. Was told the replacement glass would be Mystic Black which is the exact same color Samsung uses, but what I got was a dark blue back glass. I checked the packaging and it said Mystic Black and confirmed with the employees it was the correct one for my phone. I then showed them it was obviously blue to which the employee replied Youre right, it is blue! Yet they refuse to do anything about it except put my busted original one back on. This is the definition of false advertisement. I was misled from the get go and led to believe Id be receiving an original Mystic Black back glass. These people are either ignorant or crooks. Either way STAY AWAY!!

I’ve always traded in my phones at retech after getting a new one and they’ve always given me a good deal, and have been super helpful. I went to them recently with an issue with my charge port for my current phone, and the guy fixed it in less than 5 minutes, charged me nothing, and didn’t even let me tip him. This place is always great.

Great service. Took my sons non functional PS4 around noon and had a functional unit returned to me about 4 hours later for only $50. Very happy son! FYI, they moved next door to the old location, so they ARE OPEN.

Had the screen repaired on my wifes phone during which they boke the biometric sensor. They immediately owned up to it and worked to get it fixed for free even thought the parts were on back order. My wife and I were leaving Ocala a few weeks later and the part was still not available through their normal sources so they went out and purchase a more expensive option to meet our timeframes.I have been teaching customer service for more than 25 years and mistakes will always happen it is how you deal with them that sets places apart and this was done perfectly and as you would hope any mistake is dealt with.

Went in on an already bad day because my phone would not charge. Turns out a piece from a new charger I bought was lodged in the charging slot on the phone. They fixed it and said have a nice day, no charge. Super nice and professional. Will definitely go here again if I ever have a problem. Something so small on a day like today really made a difference

It smelt funny in the store and was overly crowded as well. No-one was socially distanced in this fairly small store, so to have more than 12 people in it is excessive. Also I was not greeted when i entered, so I walked out only after a minute of being inside due to all of these issues. I only wanted a quote on the cost of a screen repair for a iphone 10, they want $198 to repair it while tmobile (my phone carrier) only charges me $175 and at least THEY take covid seriously.

I brought in my iPad to get the screen replaced and THEY BROKE THE HOME SCREEN BUTTON so now my Touch ID will never work again. The cracks weren’t even NEAR THE BUTTON. I am beyond livid that they did this first of all and then did nothing to compensate me for their recklessness and unprofessional handling of my iPad. Avoid this place at all costs. Find somewhere, anywhere other this place. I will never go back to them again.

This new re-etc company completely ruined my iPhone XS Max 528gb when I paid over $400 for them to fix the glass. They accepted fault and promised me a new replacement phone but here we are 5 months later and I have not heard a word from them !!! I have been out the money I paid them as well as a phone I paid more than a grand for! Thinking about getting a lawyer at this point. This has got to be the worst phone repair company in Ocala - Please look elsewhere it’s not worth the money or hassle doing business with them !!

Since they closed the other store and reopen in a different spot and were closed during COVID they will not honor the warranty of the screen protector.

I had accidentally dropped my phone in water, and I used the diagnose my phone through the website. It was so easy to use and within hours I had a response and was given a quote. I took my phone in and the staff was very professional and friendly. The price was reasonable, and I had my phone back within 24 hours. I could not have asked for better service! I would recommend their services to anyone needing their phone repaired!

I had the best experience there. My phone wouldnt charge... They tried cleaning the connection right away, no luck. They told me the phone wild be ready in two hours... Came back they took it apart, it was an easy fix! And no charge!!! Even though this was something insignificant to fix...I wasnt charged a dime. Great staff, super friendly and knowledgeable. I will be bringing all my problems to them! Highly recommend them.

Very rude to both me and my senior mother. She went without me to have a glass cover put on her phone. Most places will do this for free, but this place charged my mother $10. She said she didnt mind paying a little, but the young man was rude to her and when she told him there was no need to be rude, he told her if she didnt like it then she should go elsewhere. I thought nothing of it, really. People have bad days. Then when visiting a week later, my own screen protector cracked. Out of curiosity, I went to Re-Tech to see what my experience would be. I was told it would not be $10, it would be $20. When I said that it seemed a little high as it generally takes less than 5 minutes... must have been the same guy, because I was literally told the exact same thing... if I didnt like, I should go somewhere else. So I did. Sure enough, a place called U-brake-I-fix was just 3 miles away, and they did it for free. I timed it... it took 3 mins and 40 seconds. I can only guess the young (30s?) guy at Re-Tech telling people to go elsewhere feels entitled to be rude to customers, as hes doing it repeatedly. Its not a bad day, its a bad employee. Another older employee was standing nearby though, and said nothing, nor did he try to assist. The prevailing attitude there seems to be were going to gouge you and if you dont like it, too bad. I will be making sure to tell anyone I meet that needs repairs to go elsewhere too.

Wow! Wish I could give no stars! Took my phone in oct 8th in the morning just to see if they could do a factory reset on it. Was told that they would call me at 4 the same day! I never got a call back so I called this morning on oct 12 and was told it had no notes on computer and tech wasnt working today so they cannot do anything at all!!!!! WTH thanks for nothing! I am going to pick it up today!!! They had my phone 4 days!!!! Didnt even touch it!

Not what they use to be. Although the laws have change for the benefit of the phone companies. I use to be able to buy reasonably priced used certified phones. Now with the new law, were forced to buy from the individual phone servers. There stock is pretty thin now.

This is definitely the place to get your cellphone or other device fixed. The personnel are knowledgeable and wont waste your money fixing something you should replace.I had my cellphone fixed with a new back, input and upgraded. I spent about $75 on the $650 phone and gave it to a friend in need.

I recently had to have my screen repaired on my phone and the services was exceptional. Very quick and cost effective. Yesterday my phone screen display was not working correctly. I contacted ReTech and was told to bring it in. Employees were nice and my screen was replaced and covered under their warranty. They had it fixed in less than an hour. Highly recommended them!

I was having trouble charging my iPhone 6S and went to Re-Tech for assistance. I lucked out and did not need to wait in line as a technician was awaiting me at the register. I explained my problem, he cleaned out the dirt that I had compacted into my charging port, and explained how I could CAREFULLY do the same myself in the future. All of this free of charge. Service was quick, affordable, and effective. Very satisfied!

Incoming calls not on my screen and could not answer them. In few minutes tech found phone had setting that blocked incoming calls turned off. No charge to me. Recommend to everyone

Theres no charge.What?Now thats how to run a business! They will be getting all my business in the future... Visited Re-Tech today to get my Samsung Galaxy S3 screen fixed. I had found a cheaper price but out of state and figured would keep the local business. I was helped by the staff very quickly even though they were busy. I was told it would be ready in 4 hours. I came back to pick up my device and it took another 45min. Long story short they gave me a discount for the delay and also for being in the Military. I was very impressed by their customer service, which is hard to find these days. Screen looks like new and the staff was very helpful, polite, and informative. Will def be doing business with them in the future. Thanks guys.

Had what we were looking for, cheap iphone, glad to know it had a 30 day warranty.

Needed to replace my company phone quickly out of pocket because not due for replacement yet. First surprise: Verizon actually referred me here so I wouldnt have to pay full price. Once at Retech, I received great customer service. second surprise: The store was well staffed and they were able to get me off my old phone, onto new, seamlessly with no data loss, no long phone calls with Verizon, all in about 1/2 hour. Kudos for Verizon to referring me and kudos to Re-Tech for making experience painless. If Id known how easy it would be, would have done this two months ago instead of limping along with my tired, abused phone.

My husbands iPad softly slid off the sofa didnt work. We took it to Best Buys Geek Squad who couldnt do anything but referred us to Re-Tech around the corner.A nice young man called Daniel cleaned the screen and showed us you could see the apple insignia and said the LED light wasnt working. Took it back to the tech who apparently knew exactly where the hold the case without opening it and within a couple of minutes was back and voila it works. I went to them for a stick SIM card after going to several places and should have brought it to them first. They had it out in less than a minute. They trimmed the card down and had my phone working again. They are nice people.

Please go elsewhere to have work done on your iPhones. I had my screen replaced a while ago. It came loose and they fixed it. Then I had them replace my battery. Shortly after I had to bring my phone in because the screen came loose again. Without pulling up my info or seeing that they previously worked on my phone, they decided to smash the corner of my screen back into place and secure it with 2 sided tape. The very next day I had to go back because now the whole screen was coming loose. This time they decided to pull up my info, see that they previously worked on it in, and now tell me nothing is covered under the “lifetime warranty” of the screen because there was the tinyest chip on the edge of the screen. Probably from them smashing it the day before. A complete shady scam. Their screens are not up to Apple standards and they just blame the customer for “dropping” it when that’s absolutely not the case. Again, go elsewhere.

My wife and I use Re-Tech for all of our phone repairs. Most repairs are done same day and the prices are reasonable with the work guaranteed. I recommend them especially for tempered glass screen protectors as they are competitively priced and have a great warranty (great if you drop your phone as often as my wife does).

Took my laptop in for them to try n figure out why it kept shutting off anytime I picked it up.. Best Buy wanted to send my laptop (which I NEED for school) off for 1-2weeks for them to figure out what was wrong with it.. the guy told me that by tomorrow the technician would call me and let me know what was wrong with it.. the next day the tech called me and told me it was just a misaligned piece and its ready for pickup! I was shocked!! You guys saved me 2weeks of worry and possibly hundreds of dollars because I probably wouldve had to buy another laptop.. I cannot thank you guys enough!!!

As a rule I dont give reviews but my recent phone repair with Retech was off the charts great. I was greeted with a smile, thats a change in Ocala. I went in to have the charging port replaced on my Galaxy S5 replaced. I was impressed that the tech first cleaned out the port with compressed air thinking it may just be dirty trying to save me a service charge. It turned out it needed replacing. The phone was repaired and ready at the promised time. Very impressed. Ill be back when I need a phone.

They downsize not the same as the bigger store

I brought my iPhone 4 to be repaired for cracked glass. At first, it seemed fine, but within 2 months, I had a blue spot on the screen and tapping the screen caused ripples in the top corner of the screen. Luckily, they offer a 90 day warranty and I got it repaired. After this I thought it may have just been a faulty display. Within another 2 months or so, a white spot appeared on the screen and I found out that the top corner of the screen had been loose and pressable. Again, it was under warranty so I had it repaired. The next day, today, I found out that my phone no longer vibrates. These people just cant get my repair right! If not one thing, its another. I only go back because my phone is under warranty. Use their service at your own risk!

I bought a otter box case from them on a Saturday. well while i was at the store i asked questions that i was concerned about since I worked in a automotive shop. they answered them and told me not to worry about it that its sealed and wouldnt get any dirt or anything under the case. I WASNT EXPECTING IT TO BE PERFECT BUT WAS NOT IMPRESSED AFTER 2 DAYS Well they were wrong! I went back for the seven day exchange and got denied due to white spots on internal case. My case has been sealed by the silicone all weekend. They offered me 5-10 dollars off next purchase. I think thats unfair because their product was defective. Always been a decent place for cell screen repair and selling old phones.

From start to finish I was very impressed with the staff - they listened to the problem, explained what need to be done, delivered what they promised on time. I find tech problems to be frustrating but they were extremely patient. I have gotten help from the staff several times and have always been satisfied by the service. I have recommended them to friends and family. Everyone was also very pleased.

I replaced the battery on my iPhone 5s but had trouble seating the touch connector and replacing a tiny screw on one of the plates. The Ocala shop adjusted my repair at no charge (thank goodness), and now everything works! I will go to them next time instead of trying to adjust the tiny hardware inside the phone. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and less headache.

Do let me alaboeate for you I first use their service and found it lacking purely because of the monetary aspect in other words it was far too expensive in my opinion. Yet I was proven wrong I went to another text store and found out their prices were exorbitant in comparison to retech. So retech now has my business unless I find someone better. Service is surely with a smile here and the prices are definitely competitive.

My phone locked up and the tech had to go back to factory settings. He said my photos would be saved. Photos are gone.

I took my Samsung Galaxy S5 in for repair due to charging port issues. They managed to fix that but after receiving the phone back there was bubbles between the LCD and main glass.Took the phone back again and they fixed that but now the LCD and main glass stick out from the main case meaning even if a droplet of water were to land on it it could fry the phone, this also exposes the phone to dust and other debris in the pocket getting inside of the phone and causing a similar issue. It also affects the front facing camera causing a halo like effect around it.I will be taking the phone back again soon and update my review dependant on their repair and how they handle fixing this issue.Edit not sure what they are using to secure my phone screen in, but even after leaving it with them for 24 hours the screen still comes insecure and sticks out from the housing. It still interferes with the front facing camera. Its a bit better than it was but I dont feel secure getting even a drop of water on what is supposed to be a water resistant phone Im worried about debris getting into the phone and destroying it.

Terrible experience, I have been going to the Retech in Ocala for years. I have never been this dissatisfied with their services. My screen became blurry a few weeks after repair the warranty is not guaranteed. They are a great company as long as you do not have any issues with your repair. If you do the staff becomes extremely rude and unprofessional.

They will mislead you tell you one price one day and only honor it for 24 hours the next week to the day the same product they will offer you close to 70% less then the week before.

Ive taken many phones in for repairs and theyve done a horrid job at fixing several. One time, they replaced my screen and the entire glass screen just ended up popping out of the phone only a day later. Another visit, I brought a cracked screen in for replacement. They replaced the glass, but when I got the phone back, the LCD screen wouldnt work properly. Neither time would they honor their poor workmanship. In fact, when I brought the phone that they ruined the LCD screen on, they took their replacement glass back, refunded my money, and put a screen that was even more damaged than my initial broken screen. They can do a great job or a horrible job, but if they do a bad job be prepared to eat your losses.

Beware! iPhone users, I came here because my iphone couldnt connect to any signal or cellular data, just wifi. I had many very important notes on my phone that I needed to keep, and told the guy who helped me beforehand that I didnt back up my phone- I told him this multiple times. Money wasnt an issue, I just needed my phone fixed. After and hour he convinced me to update my phone to see if it was the issue. I refused and told him that it wasnt an update issue, I didnt need to restart it because I tried to before. He eventually plugged my phone in the computer and pushed me to update my phone- telling me my VERY IMPORTANT NOTES will not be lost.I got the phone back, after the hour and a half that I was there, and my notes were gone. Another familys personal information filled my phone- so beware. They just apologized to me, and said there was nothing else they could do and to just reset the phone and look for possible backups. I left the store wanting to cry, I warned them and told them multiple times about how important everything on my phone was to me.Out of habit, I went through my phone and straight though my notes, the family had so much personal information written- from passwords to their social security. Now I fear, that they may have all my notes and might somehow back it up onto someone elses phone. I reset my phone, and deleted the information, but I definitely still have proof of the incident.
