Love Best Buy just wish they had more staff. Can never find anyone when you need help and lines is always long to check out. I can say there is one staff member when I do car pick up he is fast when coming out to give me my purchase
I hadnt been in a Best Buy in so long! The store and experience of going in and grabbing my goodies right then was awesome seeing all the possibilities/tech in person, but honestly 😩 I find the Q & A section of Amazon much more helpful - was looking for some techies or geeks who would assist my networking dilemma but they werent very knowledgeable. Thats not bad, but I did ask three people to ask if there was a anyone who COULD help ( dont they have those little head phone thingies?) and nobody did. So, lots of extra time to end up doing it without being helped. 🤷🏾 Management (an override for an open box discount) is great and fast and they were training a really thoughtful new employee so I think things are on the up and up. Def just check it out if youve been amazoning for a while - Its priceless and good on the conscious to know I can just buy something to see if it works for what I need and drive a few miles to return or exchange versus send/ship from far away.
Customer service could be better. And it would have been helpful if they knew about their products not just prices.
Had the ink I wanted. Neatly displayed in number order that made it easy to find. Checkout was slow; two people helping one person, ignoring me & another. Finally, a third person open another line, & checked us out.
Absolutely ridiculous! Order an open box TV online that was in excellent condition (this means all hardware is included) drove 2 hours to get here all to find out they only have the TV and power cord .. one manager comes over to us insisting it was a Best Buy online error even though we got an email indicating all hardware and TV were available for pick up.. we then have to pick out a different TV ... that one is unavailable, therefore it will be a over a week before were able to get the TV ... we have a different manager this time going over discounts due to our inconvenience ... he cant pull up our original order, he doesnt know how to find it .. the BEST he could do was $200 off .... weve been at this store for 1.5 hours - complete BOGUS - this ALL could have been avoided if customer service didnt hang the phone up twice and if the store actually had a number you could call ... way to go best buy 👏
4 to 5 nick manager great but the fact i had to call the manager not so great I brought my computer in with me to fit the cord I live 40 min away I have a parent with full blown dementia that I had a sitter with in the car got offered the geek squad I refused was told i could not try the cord out I had 15 days to return the cord makes 4 trips for me Alex refused to let me test it so the manager got called he helped me I bought the sixty something dollar cord. Sometimes you need the manager thats what they are there for all in all not unhappy with the deal.
Most smart home products out of stock. Waited 30 minutes to talk to one blue shirt. Took 15 to find the set of keys to unlock a cabinet of locked products. No wonder Amazon doing so well.
Big best buy. Hard to find someone to help you even though theres 40 employees in the store.
Ordered a TV online. They told me when it was ready, then asked me to bring the truck to the front and then brought it and loaded to my truck. They even had a red Carpet! TV works perfect and at a great price.

What’s going on with them ? I arrived on my lunch break and had 45 minutes to decide on a purchase. I walked up to a sales person and asked if he would answer a few quick questions. He said I was busy stocking and didn’t have the time and pointed at a register with 1 employee helping customers. That employee was over worked trying to help all those people. Wow this is crazy. I did not have 2 hrs to wait for 1 person to get to me so I had to leave the store without making a purchase. I not sure why they aren’t restocking there Products after they close so that way they can attend to the customers.Employees and Managers don’t care . I decided to make a purchase from eBay. Its pricey but you can really score some deals. Also, you can find the coolest, new products on the market. Its one of those stores that you have to go into every so often. Quality products all the way!
Wasnt here long. Just seeing what was available for car audio. Seemed to be out of stock mostly. Again, wasnt inside for long but nothing negative stood out.

Although customer service was good during installation, Im not too happy with the work. Without talking to me first, he cut into the plastic portion to expose a USB (Android auto) cord from the headunit. They didnt have an adaptor for the OEM port in stock so this was his decision instead. I could have waited then come back or just installed the wire myself. When scheduling the appointment, I was told they didnt have the stereo bracket in stock so I would have to order it on my own. (pic: what is inside white line)I told him crutchfield showed it did not fit my car. He told me I was wrong and hed done it before. Since he was the professional I took him at his word. Even after showing him an alternative (pic: bracket sitting outside orange line) still told me I was wrong and I needed to get the other one. I spent $25 on something that didnt fit my car and didnt work with that stereo. I had ordered the bracket that I showed him (orange line) and that was the one they ended up using. So now Im out $25 on something I cant return and I have my plastics hacked on. Not impressed. Arrows in pics depict cord hanging down and damage done.
Geek Squad was very helpful and got my PC fixed and returned to me in no time at all (a little over two weeks).
Been waiting for the right range hood to be delivered after three attempts since August 31st 2021. It is now November 1st and no response from Best Buy.

Couldnt get help. Had to call manager just to get a simple question answered. Which he was very helpful. Stood in line for 10 minutes before they finally decided to open another. Really bad service overall.

Purchased a laptop in May this year. I thought I was getting a really good deal since it was on sale and I only forked out $500+ for a Lenovo. Wrong! The salesman didnt tell me about purchasing Best Buy insurance or that I had 10 days to return laptop if something was wrong with it. I spoke via tele with Best Buy CS and get this info. I make a trip today to the store to learn I will have to fork out about $200 for the Geek Squad to repair a defected microphone or return to Lenovo since its still under factory warranty. I dont have time to spare because I am an online student for my PhD. So, I have to brainstorm, but I can thank the Geek Squad Rep for giving me the number to Lenovo Support. First and last time buying a computer from a store!

Slow to help customers only to find that they do not carry what they advertise on sale. You have to go to a bigger best buy to get certain sale items. Sales associate did not know about products they sold and neither did management, cashier was too busy having a conversation with another associate to Ring us out.
Art was great at helping us find a laptop for my middle school student. Also he speaks spanish and was super patient w my mom.
I gave them a C. They have gone down hill from years ago. The staff is helpful if you can find someone to help, but there knowledge of some things are not existent. And can be costly, so now I always do my research on my own before I buy as I cant seem to get experience there.

Today is still a great day!! However Best Buy needs to do better, especially this location (Ocala). First thing is when I walked in the door, there sale associated did not even look my way. I went to purchase a computer and need help to see which one was the right fit. I went back to the MAC product no available associate, okay I will wait. I looked down at my phone trying to pass time then I look up, no sale associates to be found went to the front desk asked for someone to be called. I went to the area to wait no one comes. This is not the first time.

I will no longer shop at Best Buy stores. Everytime I visit the PC dept. I get greeted and then dismissed once I have a question. This is the prevailing attitude if most of the employees that were working the floor. Most seem to avoid customer interaction, and pretend to be busy. I have enjoyed past experiences at Best Buy locations outside of the Ocala store.

We picked up a beautiful TV on Super Bowl Sunday 2021. We got all the bells & whistles for the best price possible. Brian was able to explain said “bells & whistles” to help ensure that we made the best decision on that day. Grateful for guys like Brian!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would, we waited on hold for 20minutes when the automated estimated time was 3 minutes. Then Adrian hung up on me after he didnt know the answer to my question. We went in store and the service was no better.

Purchased a 75” TV from here less than a month ago. I wasn’t asked if I wanted a warranty, so I ask for warranty and they still didn’t apply it. I paid $800 for a TV that doesn’t work and and they want to charge me $250 just to come out and look at! I’ll never purchase another product from Best Buy again! My fame has spent a lot of money over the years in here!!

Ive had to watch the guy next to me prop up a magazine a few times because the guy across from him didnt have any courtesy... Did not envy my parking lot neighbor.

This store has the worst geek squad ever. I dropped my laptop off about a month ago and I still haven’t any response from the team. Next time I’ll drive an hour or two.
I would not recommend Best Buy in Ocala. I went in there today between 6:30 pm and 7 pm to look at laptops, and there was NO customer service! No greeting, no assistance in the computer department, and no goodbye. Next time I will just buy online.
What sad reflection on Best Buy. Not enough staff members on the floor, couldnt find anyone to help me. When I did he was busy helping someone else, answered my question so fast and shot off down the aisle to help them. Stood in line for 15 minutes at checkout, as I was waiting I just observed the employees. Everyone was working hard but looked so beat down and sad or upset. There was one employee that was having a dispute with management off to the side, right there on the floor.I have managed a lot of people in different companies and I am here to tell you that everything I observed, this is a company/store in distress. And that all that I saw tells me that all of it comes from poor management skills and styles. How sad and unfortunate for these hard working employees to have to face this day after day.
They use displays as blockades to treat you like cattle. If thats not a turn-off, they carry only a very limited amount of TVs, usually only the overpriced ones. Staff has very limited knowledge of inventory. Complete waste of time stopping there.
I really, really dislike shopping in Best Buy. Ive been stuck buying in store when I turned in an Ipad and had to make a return. Unfortunately on these occasions I had to get a store credit which I loathe. I always have a miserable shopping experience and yesterday was no exception. Never enough staff and most are young kids who take no pride in their appearance and and are uninterested in helping a customer. The merchandise is very overpriced and no better than you find in other chain stores. My biggest pet peeve is being forced to use the store credit to buy something I dont want or something that is grossly overpriced. Fortunately this should be my last Ipad for a while. With the Internet and other store chains offering deals and accessories I hope from here on out I wont have to set foot in another Best Buy.

Untrained, least knowledgeable employees Ive ever been in contact with. Employee had to use his phone to find where an item was located. Followed him around one aisle then another. Till I saw the sign hanging from the ceiling and asked him, is that it. He said he didnt think so and kept following his phone. We finally arrived at the sign hanging from the ceiling and he says WE DONT HAVE ANY RIGHT NOW. I leaned over and picked the item up. NO MORE BEST BUY for me

I went in the store looking for a charger for a computer and one of the sales people told us they dont carry one for that so we were getting ready to leave and we decided to ask another sales person and he took is right over to it and put it on if you ever need anything electronic see Michael he is very knowledgeable and very friendly

New to town but a frequent Bestbuy customer. Visited store twice in a week and experienced the worse customer service and work ethic. First visit it took awhile to flag anyone down to attempt to buy an item. The person I spoke to told me they did not have what I was looking for in stock, until I walked him to where they kept it locked up and showed him what the store availability showed. He was clueless about the products most simple things and started getting short with me when I was asking for the specific products available in the store. I just decided to look elsewhere that day instead of wasting time with the useless employee. Unfortunately the item I wanted was available there after looking around so I returned a few days later. Same kind of service from another guy who spent most of his time on his phone instead of making contact with customers who need help. Same issue as other visit as he had to be shown that the item i wanted was in stock and where to find it. Kind of regret spending my money there and wasting 1 hour of my life.

Did not understand the rules for the Geek squad. Made an appointment thinking that I was going to get the work done during the appointment. Very disappointing to find out the appointment was just to collect my device so the could fix it later.
I went to Best Buy today to purchase a radio for my vehicle. I walked over to speak to a sales associate to get information about the radios that were on display. After explaining to “salesman” what I was wanting to purchase.The “salesman” started the conversation with “we have no installers and there is no telling how long they will be out.” He then informed me that no one has COVID 19. He followed that up with you’re better off going to Gainesville. I politely thanked him for his time and left the store with zero information about the radios that I was looking at. Congratulations Best Buy I won’t be shopping at your store ever again and I strongly would recommend that anyone shopping for any type of electronics avoiding this business.Sincerely, Dennis

I was very disappointed with the customer service because of the disorganization. Having a customer being told there was phone was ready for pickup and then 2.5hrs later still no phone. The only thing positive about my visit was the management giving me a $50 complimentary Best Buy Gift Card for the inconvenience. I hope to have a better experience when I pick up my phone either tomorrow or Monday. Wish me luck.

We went in to buy a washer dryer combo. We were there less than 5 minutes when Saif came to help us. In less than 30 minutes he helped us find what we were looking for and set us up for delivery and set up. Thanks to Saif it was a very pleasant, successful and quick visit.
We ordered curb side. We waited over 20 minutes and finally went inside. We were the only ones waiting for curbside. Other than that they are good for sales and pricing on most of your electronic needs.
Your 15 day return policy sucks . Especially when the Bluetooth didnt work at all not even a store credit never again will I step foot in here again credit card ripped 🙃
I just dont see any of these big box stores surviving unfortunately. Im sure the pandemic had caused shortages and issues but the place just seems bare, not sparkly clean and tidy, overpriced with some items, and just plain lacking in the variety of products. The internet is a brick and mortar store killer. Hopefully they make it through.
Very helpful staff. Explaining all our options and what we would need. Wasnt pushy or trying to upsell. Just explained features that met my needs. Did offer the GEEK SQUAD. Which I was told I can still get if I find that I need it. Reasonable prices for disposable electronics these days. But thats how it works. Its obsolete before it hits the shelves in the USA. Happy with our choices and well be back to buy when ready.
I ordered thru Amazon....and picked up my TV same day at Best Buy. Simple...quick...easy. Got loaded into my car. Friendly people.
Joey was really rude and acted like we were bothering him trying to get info and availability on a new MacBook. Even after the purchase trying to get our items collected and receipt put away he said is that all or did you need something else, making it seem like we needed to rush away from the register. Pretty disappointing for a Best Buy elite plus member spending another $1500 on a computer.

Worse customer service than the D.M.V. They have 50 employees running around doing nothing, and one register open. When you try to ask an employee something, they act like you are wasting their time. I guess thats what you get when all your employees are millennials. I will let a donkey kicked in the head before I go back to Best Buy.
The worst customer service. The male working in computer section did not want to help me purchase 2 tablets. I WILL NEVER shop here again. When asking for manager he said hmmmm..sure ill get him. A manager did speak with me and apologized. Very unhappy customer.
