Staff is friendly, caring and professional. I called with concern of noise and AC issues and though they were booked through to next week they requested I come in to have the vehicle driven to ensure it was safe.They charged nothing for this service and discussed potential concerns and recommendations for future maintenance. They cross threaded my wifes lugs so bad when they installed her tires I broke one off with a manual wrench. They broke off too and told my wife it was our fault after they charged her for parts and repair

Ive used them many times over the last several years and am very satisfied with their work. I find them to be thorough and honest. Most recently, I was quoted $1700 by a dealership to repair my vehicle. RT Clapp quoted about half of that. RT Clapp recognized that the problem was misdiagnosed by the dealer, and they were able to repair the engine for about 10% of the cost quoted by the dealership. Highly recommend!

I find them to always be professional, courteous, and most of all totally honest, a mechanic will come out and explain everything to you in detail and give you options. Friendly staff and good mechanics. My car was acting up took it here and in no time they knew what was wrong and what needed to be fixed. Then the day I took it in the had it all fixed up in just a few hours now its back to running like it did when I first got it. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely top notch folks at this shop! I had a blowout on the turnpike and was working to change the tire on the side of the road. The service manager walked up and asked if I needed any help. He proceeded to help me get my vehicle down to a bay, remove my tire, and plug it! I was floored that these folks went out of their way to help me out and NOT CHARGE ME A SINGLE PENNY!!! I do all but the toughest auto repair jobs myself, RT Clapp has been handling those complicated repairs for us since they were recommended to us when we moved to TN around 12 years ago. I highly recommend them!

The desk guy will try to rip you off for minor things that can be done within minutes. Another strange thing is that the guy who performed the real mechanic work did not talk to you directly. Everything comes through the desk guy who actually did nothing but taking your money.
