I would have loved to purchase something from this store and give it a better review, however we left with nothing. The lady working was not friendly and almost annoyed we were there. I asked her a couple of questions and she was not helpful and short with us. There were many things I would have wanted to purchase but we were turned off by the service so we left with nothing.

Went in for the first time with my husband who thought it looked cool and was greeted by the cashier not sure if she’s the owner also but we told her it was our first time in and we were just browsing, I literally felt like she followed me around the store there was 3 instances she appeared next to me and it made me very uncomfortable so I asked my husband to leave. I thought the store was unique but I did not appreciate her hovering next to me while I was looking around and she was at the cashiers station when we walked in/the store was empty besides us.

Fantastic selection! This shop doubles as a unique gift shop and a metaphysical shop. They have stones, candles, witty signs, soaps..... All manner of goodies. For those who practice sea or ocean based witchcraft, theyve got you covered with Seashells GALLORE!!! AND AT REASONABLE PRICES. For the less magically inclined, they have lovely wares like custom style pocket knives, bedazzled belts, handmade herbal soaps, and cool scarves. If youre in Oak Harbor, its a must stop by.

What a cute little shop! OK, I didnt buy anything because I was looking for Whidbey Island souvenirs, but they have a lot of very cute items. Soaps, knick-knacks, cards, etc. Very artsy shop.

Don’t listen to all the negative responses considering they are all about complaining about Covid rules, accidentally breaking things and having to pay, or rude employees. as long as your nice, the employees are wonderful and are fun to chat with

Fun and funky gift shop. They have an eclectic variety of items so shopping is like a treasure hunt. I love visiting the Island and this is one of my favorite gift shops on the Island.

Fantastic gem of a gift shop! The staff are very friendly. Theres always something fantastic to find, this shop has a little bit of everything from minerals to decor to locally made goods. Its worth a stop if you are in the area. Bring a little extra spending money for yourself or for the perfect gift.

Came to Whidbey on a Sunday to explore and met many kind people! Its a beautiful island & a very friendly place, sadly I cannot say the same about my experience in Purple Moon. I love handcrafted items and gemstones so the store was right up my alley, unfortunately the woman working there today (3/14/21 @3:45pm) made it a less than relaxing experience and created a hostile environment with her horrible attitude. Every few minutes although she was on the opposite end of the store I would hear her sigh loudly, making it uncomfortable to shop as I felt like my perusing was a nuisance. When it came time for me to decide between two large palm stones I asked for her opinion twice and both times she denied me saying she wouldnt answer that question as its personal despite me asking for her personal opinion. The straw that broke the camels back for me and prevented me from spending the fifty dollars worth of minerals I had in my hands was when she stomped over after I had unzipped my purse to get my cell phone flash light to see the asterism on a few of their star rubies and rudely asked me if I needed any help in a demeanor and tone that assumed I was stealing. I can deal with someone whos having a bad day but I cannot support a shop whos only worker is deliberately displaying her dismay for my presence for zero reasons. It looks like a lovely shop and Im saddened by this experience. The irony of such a cheery store inhabited by someone who isnt is not lost on me though. Hopefully others get her on a better day!

Don’t believe all the recent negative reviews, they are based on a lie. Store is incredible, offering items you can’t find else where. The staff is kind and helpful, especially to someone looking for a gift but may not know what is good. Very supportive, I would recommend to any of my friends.

First time going here. My husband and I will definetly be back when we dont have 4 children with us! It was difficult to truly enjoy while keeping little hands from touching things, but the lady working there was very kind and helpful! The prices are really reasonable. There were shells, rocks, candles, jewelry, home decor, and more :) Grabbed two of these cute little elephant charms to put on my own hooks!

Well, I wish I had an experience worth sharing in a positive manner, but the woman behind the counter when I went in to browse was unbelievably rude and demanded that I use their hand sanitizer just to be in the store, despite my assurance that I have my own with me that I would use on the very slim chance I would be touching anything. Unfortunately for the store, I will not be returning to and never even had a chance to ask about an item in the window that had drawn me into the store to begin with. Perhaps hiring staff that ARENT nasty and rude to potential customers, especially considering Ive not one time actually seen a single person in the store, would benefit the operation.

One of the best little shops downtown. They have so many items to choose from and an impressive collection of precious stones and pretty rocks. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming. I always have a great time inside.

Someone needs to educate the person who put a hand pump hand sanitizer forcing people to clean their hands before entering the Store that its not effective. Maybe they can afford to buy a auto one where you just place your hands under and not pump after so many Humans germs lingering on that pump. Other then that I loved the Store, and prices.

This is my perfect escape place, VERY cheap, cute, the girl who works their is VERY friendly and VERY helpful! She definitely knows her stuff! I don’t have much bad to say about it, it’s size adequate for the business it gets, and the prices are out of this world. I have not met owner yet but I’m sure they’re friendly, my only minor problem With them is that it seems to be kind of stuck on repeat having a lot of the same things, but it is still a perfect place to find what you may need.

This is a great place as well as the location of it. They definitely have unique gifts. You could find something for everyone. This place is definitely worth taking a look in. I bought a lot of stuff for my sons nursery in here. The price is fair as well. I have had great buys and had a great experience overall!!!:) I would definitely come back here.

Tons of stuff to see. Staff is friendly and love to help you view the minerals. You will be asked to leave large bags at the counter, this is reasonable as there is tons of stuff in the store and not enough space to safely maneuver. We spent at least half an hour looking around. Would recommend if youre in town looking for a place to kill time. Everything is pretty reasonably priced

Its an average shop with a variety of curiosities meant to snag any visitors. Its a pretty stereotypical shop that youd find in any other downtown coastal towns within the area. There are some pretty stones though

Loved this store, every fun and unique thing you could ever ask for in one place. The amethysts are gorgeous!

Small and crowded. Cute things. However when walking down the stairs they had things hanging past the wall frame into the walk way where people walk and it snagged onto my moms sweater and tripped her and she almost fell down the steps. Luckily she did not fall completely and only bruised her elbow. The wall hanging did fall and break. It was clearly hanging past the wall frame into the area that people walk in already over crowded area. They had the nerve to charge her for the wall hanging even though it was hanging in a spot where it was not safe. Unbelievable. Very disappointed in the lack of common sense and lack of apology when it caused my mother to trip down the steps. Guess money is more important to some people.

Ive shopped here before I love the stuff but they had a small light table stacked on another small light table and glass bowls were placed on top of the top table I barely bumped it and the whole thing toppled over. I ended up paying $36 for everything broken. Luckily I didnt get hurt too bad but I did cut my thumb on one of the bowls trying to help the lady clean it up because I felt bad. Looking at reviews I see Im not the only one who had to pay because of the way the shop is set up.

A cute little store filled with odds and ends, fancy soap, and anything you could ever need to complete your rock collection. Bit pricey for certain objects but its got some good deals on bits of bric a brac.

My wife went to the store with our 5 yr old and 3 yr old - both are well behaved in stores and typically do well. When my wife went to checkout the shop keeper didnt know what something cost, so my wife went to check for her. Our 3 yr old followed and in a rush to keep up tipped over some crystal obelisks. The shop keeper discovered a few very small chips on the BOTTOM of each and my wife ended up paying for them. The store keeper then proceeded to scold my wife on how they dont want kids in their store. Note - how do you chip something on the bottom if that is not the point of impact? Scammed.
