I reserved my storage unit online and within minutes received a phone call to make an appointment to come and rent the unit. Jen explained everything and showed us the unit which was very clean. I was extremely happy with how easy the whole process was. I highly recommend Storage Rentals of America in Northborough.

Came in for moving supplies, great selection of products for sale. Brian was a big help in assisting me find what I needed. I would definitely recommend this place!

A Professional and courteous woman gave me all the initial information on the phone. We arrived to view a unit and sign some paperwork.We were greeted by a very polite and friendly young woman who happily escorted us to view a storage unit. We found it clean, with no odors, well kept and very large for the price!We were then brought back to an impeccably clean air conditioned office where she rolled out chairs for the 3 of us! We had never rented storage so I had many questions. The young lady had detailed answers to every one! She was extremely patient and more than pleasant to talk with! I definitely recommend this facility, an applaud the young lady who runs it! 5/2021

The girl that was working then Jen Jewel was over helpful she was very sweet took her time and made sure Iunderstood everything I like when people like that work in places makes you feel more at home I hope shes making enough money cuz she really goes over and above for everybodyAlso i was not sure what size I should get because Im just you know cant figure out how to maneuver stuff into a storage unit and she explained and describes things like in detail so I really understood as I almost got a 5x5 and I have a living room set and a table and a hutch and if she didnt help me I would have moved my stuff into that storage unit and then had to take it out and get.t a big get a bigger one luckily shes very helpful

Our rate went up 27% after just 3 months. Bingo.Negotiating wit Mr. VP was a waste of our time.We were never told that we could have prepaid up to 12 months which would have locked the rate for that time. Thanks.Catch 22: if you move out before your prepaid amount expires (for example 12 months), you lose the entire remaining balance. Great.Also, they are super hard to reach by phone (call center and property manager). Once you speak with someone, 50% chance that person will be grumpy and/or not knowledgeable.Too many bad news with SROA.We are moving out today - found a bigger unit (5x10 instead of 5x8) which is 31% cheaper (!!), insurance better and cheaper too. New facility, with indoor and heated unloading area, we can prepay up to 24 months, wouldnt lose the remaining balance if we were to move out before the 24 months expire. They pick up the phone immediately (both call center and property manager), top notch friendly & knowledgeable customer service.Leaving SROA was a no brainer.

It was fine-clean, easy to figure out and use. The items we have sore there for many years are in tip-top condition

The staff that attended me is super friendly, the place is clean and well organized, but the front gate only lives open, anyone can enter when it is open, it bothers me a little.

Kristal Deacon at your 241 SW Cutoff Northborough office. Has been professional courteous and patience with me each time that I would be get my entrance pass to get in or out. Ive been blessed to see that CubeSmart has manage to have an excellent staff member that does her job very well. Being a veteran served three tours. She would have made a great General. I highly recommend CubeSmart in Northborough. I was helped by Jen and Crystal (sorry if misspelled). The staff was friendly and showed me where my unit was located. I received a little gift bag with a few free items and an info packet with access hours and my unit number. They made the whole process stress-free. Jen called me as soon as I made my reservation online. She was so pleasant and explained to me that my unit was at their other location at 160 Otis St. The only inconvenience was that I wish the Otis St location would show up on Google, I had trouble finding the place because I originally went to the main office address at 241 SW Cutoff. But any inconvenience of that nature doesnt bother me. What Im not able to tolerate is rude and disrespectful service. We had a very bad experience with Extra Space Storage in Northborough and we were so happy to find CubeSmart afterwards. It was a big sigh of relief! Highly recommend for any storage needs.

Its a good storage place just a bit pricey for long standing costumers. The lady that takes care of costumer service at the storage location can use a good manners class but I guess Im asking for too much.

It was all organized and went very smoothly.

So I see lot of ratings, but not a lot of details. Heres my detailed review. First, storage units themselves are very nice, with indoor units and climate control and a decent elevator to the upper floors, at least at the Otis St site. They have 24 hour access and I never had a problem being able to park close to the elevator.The reason I only listed 3 stars is due to a billing discrepancy. Initially I got a bigger unit due to moving. Once l got mostly unpacked, I wanted to downsize to a smaller unit. When I asked about this, manager talked me into staying at my current unit but they would give me the price of the smaller unit. That was cool and for 3 or 4 months I was very happy to have the extra space at the reduced price. Then one month they charged me $10 more than the small unit price. Then $20 more, then $40 more. Finally enough was enough and I cleaned out my remaining items and got the hell out of there.I dont like tactics like this as we had an agreement, and feel they should have been more honest if the reduced rate was temporary. If you plan to only rent a given unit size and never downsize youll probably have a great experience here because as I said above, the facilities are quite decent.

4 stars for the staff, minus 1 star for the access and security.The office staff were wonderful and accommodating. My only issue was with the gate, both locations, their main and annex both had open gates and open doors without any code verification which allows for convenient 24/7 access. They say this will be fixed at some point soon but then access hours are limited from 8AM -10 PM or something which is fine for me but seems very strange. Hopefully this will all get sorted out soon.

My rent went up from 179 to 223. They never pick up the phone and the new woman in the office is super unfriendly. There are way better deals close by.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, clean facility. A few things to be aware of when renting from this business. The on line ad provides what appears to be a very fairPricing structure, i.e., first month free, X dollars a month. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is ! What ths ad does not tell you is there is a one time $24 admin fee and a mandatory $12 a month insurance fee. The admin fee is a pure direct profit and the mandatory insurance is again, pure profit as personal home owner, condo or renters insurance covers items stored in a facility. They force unwanted insurance of those who are already insured. Very similar to car rental insurance.Bottom line, with the fees and insurance, costs are equal to or higher than the other chains.

Initially I was pleased and felt the pricing was fair. I feel its deceitful that they raise the agreed upon price after a few months claiming that was a temporary introductory offer. Also received a call that I would be assessed a $50 fee for using the dumpster ($200+/mo & fined for using dumpster as a customer!!??)

Rented at the site for years.CubeSmart does what is necessary to provide access and maintain the grounds. Office personal are polite and efficient. I will continue to use them.
