While I am reluctant to give a review of the service I received at any company it is noteworthy that my first experience with the Ted Wiens Complete Auto Service involving a Smog test, was a positive experience so much so that I will go to them for another service on my vehicle. This time it will be an oil change. New to the area, I hope I have found a credible company to do business with.

Ted Wiens, where do I start. You make an appointment for in the morning (9am) and they don’t start doing anything with your vehicle until you call to ask about it at 3 in the afternoon. Let’s talk about the prices, all I got was a diagnosis which ended up being 150 dollars... just to plug my vehicle into a computer it costs just as much as a routine check up/ oil change. Now, I am new to Vegas so I just went to wherever was closest. But if you’re looking for a sign to go here, this is not it. Take your business elsewhere but please for the love of god do not go to Ted Wiens. If I could give it 0 stars I would

Just dropped in as had blown both front tires. Young lady at counter kept bringing me water as had been changing tires on highway at 113 degrees. The front desk person found tires that fit my truck and had me in and out in 2 hours. Great place to do business, kind, courteous, and helpful. Thanks to a really professional establishment.

Staff was very friendly and only did what was needed, after I had got information from another facility that I needed more done than was necessary. I appreciate the honesty and speed in which my car was completed. Thankful for an honest facility and a very kind staff!!

On 8/07/21 driving back to Utah from me and my wifes first trip to Vegas we started having car problems and happen to break down in the parking lot of this shop. Long story short, I ended up have both a bad battery and alternator, and the shop did not have anytime to schedule me in, they were already booked up. I explained to Daniel which i believe was the front end manager, that we had a 6 hr drive ahead, we didnt have another babysitter for our kids and i had to be to work the next day. He ordered in a new alternator and took the time to install it himself for us because his shop techs could not get to it. That kind of customer service speaks volumes about a business! And really is hard to come by now a days! I rarely write any reviews and I have never given 5 🌟 to any business, but this was well deserved and very much appreciated!! Thank you👏

Our motorhome had the catalytic converter stolen and we took it to Ted Wiens Tire & Auto on East Craig for repair. We were already concerned with the condition of our aging tires and after receiving a detailed list of the work to be performed we had the converter and tires replaced. The service advisor, Scott was very courteous and knowledgeable, and had the work performed in a timely manner. We have known Ted Wiens Firestone to be an honest and reliable center for decades and are extremely happy with their work.

I really like the service I receive here. Theyre always helpful with suggestions for services, but dont make you feel stupid if you dont want them. Repaired myA/C quickly and had me on my way in 2 hrs. Making an appointment puts you in front of walk-ins. And there are usually a lot of them! Busy place.

A big thank you Scott Blakely for your responsiveness for our immediate need for repair. We were traveling through Vegas on a trip when our car had an issue. We spied a Ted Wein Firestone and pulled in. Scott knew it was an alternator issue. He emphasized that we were traveling and made our repair a top priority. These guys where able to squeeze me in last minute for alignment I really really needed . Dropped it off at noon they told me it would be done by 5pm and it was done by 3pm. My trucks drives like its on rails now! Thank you folks!

Bought a 5 year warranty battery here and had them install it. Battery went bad after a year and was replaced. Was then told there is only a one time exchange on the battery and theres no prorate on it. Doesnt make sense why they would falsely sell it as a 5 year warranty battery if its only a one time replacement battery instead. Definitely better off getting your battery at a different store were they dont falsely advertise their merchandise. Stay away from these guys!!!

Scott has been taking care of my car from maintenance to tires. He is pleasant to speak to and always gives you the truth. I recommend asking for him when needing assistance.

They did not even look at our car for four days and only fixed one of the four reported problems.Thank you for your response. I already took my vehicle to your location twice. I cant keep wasting my time. On our second visit for an issue and after five days it was explained to me that your staff could not find parts and that your master technician could not fix our sunroof.

After buying new tires at Discount Tire they attempted to balance them 5 times without success. I took my Jaguar XJ to Ted Wrens an they balanced my tires perfectly! The prices are reasonable also. THANK YOU Ted Wiens!

Ted Weins customer service is above and beyond any service center in Las Vegas. I appreciate their attention and good care from my previous visit. If you are not doing business with Ted Weins, you should be, you will feel like an appreciated customer.

Its always nerve wracking as a dad when your daughter has to take her car into the shop and you cant be there with her..... However, Kevin the store manager, and his crew make it a lot easier on me. Scott is her advisor when she sees them and he is always kind and courteous.Weve also dealt with the Rainbow location and been very well taken care of.Keep up the good work!

We were traveling from Florida and needed new tires on our travel trailer. We called and spoke with Scott and Chris. They got the tires we needed in a couple of hours. We brought in the trailer at the appointed time and they got us in and out in a little over an hour. Great service!

I took my car to 3 different Big OTires and they never resolved the shaking in my steering wheel and brake pedal. I take it to Ted Wiens and not only did they find the problem and take pictures, but I had the best customer service ever! They are my go-to for all my mechanical needs.

Great auto shop quality work . I recently had work done it was completed in a timely manner they even dropped me off and picked me back up to get my car. The staff is great no complaints I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Very professional got to me in a timely manner. They dont create a job security situation as most other mechanics Ive dealt with in the pass has done. Looks like I found my permanent auto shop.

This visit 1/14/21 took longer than expected for 2 front tires. Almost 3 hours and the tires are not the same as what I have on my rear dually’s. I will have to be more specific next time. I have General Grabber HTS’s and they installed General Grabber HTS 60’s. Should have checked specifically so I take responsibility for that. Last time I was there was for my Class A RV and all 6 tires took an hour and a half.

I was very pleased with the service and the price of my new set of tires! I would recommend Ted Wiens to anyone. They are honest and thorough. They do a good job. I will be going back there for my auto maintenance from now on.

I went in to check out my engine light. I was greeted by Scott he was very nice but the manager with the beard, was awfully rude. He interrupted on the conversation & had a very bad attitude. He was giving me a very odd look. I didnt like how he was trying to talk down to.

They are always very helpful and professional when I bring any of my vehicles in for service.

The mechanics and front office staff did a great job of figuring out what was wrong and how to fix the problem. They were then able to advise me on my options. This was done in a very timely fashion with there ongoing advisement.Job well done!

Phoned in to see if I could get Michelin drive tires replaced. They said come on over. Pulled me into the bay as I got there tires were replaced by Pablo quick even though it was so hot .Tim was great with giving info about the tires and where to go for a retorque.5 stars !!

I brought my 2008 Scion to Ted Wiens Tire for maintenance. It needed quite a bit of work including:Replacing cabin air filter, replacing valve cover gasket, removing and replacing the left axle CV shaft, and draining and refilling the transmission fluid.The work was well done and it was ready when they said it would be.

Stopped by last Saturday for the first time, for an oil change and routine service. They were fast (surprisingly so for a Saturday) and super friendly. The Waiting room and restroom were extremely clean and I left feeling well taken care of and satisfied. I plan on making Ted Wiens my go to shop from now on.

I went in recently for an oil change and was greeted right when I walked in. Their computer system was going up and down, however they still were able to help customers and make sure they were treated well. I even heard one of the gentleman that works at the desk joking with a customer and making him feel comfortable. It was also an extremely clean lobby ! I will be back

Having bad experiences with other shops, I’m always questionable taking my car in to get this or that fixed, but I decided to bring my car in for an oil change and was greeted by Kevin who, after I had asked about a problem with my AC as well, went over my car thoroughly and after coming in for an oil change I left with great new tires, an oil change and a new filter for my AC all for an amazing price. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service Kevin provided as well as his friendliness and I’m definitely going to be coming back. Great shop with great worked and great prices.

It was my first time ever coming here and I already felt welcomed. They provide GREAT customer service. Everyone was so kind and uplifting towards me. Their waiting room/lobby was very clean and organized. They provide great entertainment while you wait for your vehicle to be done. When they say “We really do care” is because they really do and they mean it.

I recently moved to a Las Vegas and wasn’t sure who to go to when my car started having issues with its starter. Ryan was extremely pleasant, informative and efficient during my phone call for a quote for service, parts and labor. They took me the same day and I was able to pick my car up a few hours later! Service was awesome Ryan Green was super helpful which was a plus since this was my first time here and it did help that he is very easy on the eyes too LoL. He was very informative about what was going on with my car and made it easy to understand. They worked with me on the price which is another bonus because who don’t like saving money. I came for just an oil change but it included tire rotation and full inspection which was great. I’ve been to a lot of places where the car service was poor and the customer service was even worst this will definitely be my one stop shop and I highly recommend it. Ted always did a good job for me. Last year i had an oil change.The person who did the work for got to bolt down the engine cover.I traveled out of state not knowing that my engine cover was not fastened properly.

Stopped in for a quick tire repair. Service was fast and great. Scott took great care with my truck and had me back on the road and working quickly. He let me know I was getting close to needing new tires and we discussed a few options.

I stopped by to get my tire patched. I saw all of the good reviews and decided to check it out. Instead of trying to sell me a new tire right off the bat, he worked with me and was upfront about it. Scott let me know it was going to take an hour which was understandable. I told him Ill be back and he suggested to fill out paperwork to help speed up the process since I wasnt going to be able to drop it off the same day. No hassle no mess, just great service.

Took in my truck for a sensor issue, it was the heat sensor on my superduty. These guys are pros, they diagnosed and found the problem, and let me know what was happening every step of the way. They even found a dead (critter) on top of the inner fender well when they removed it to get to the sensor, it was left over from the previous owner of the truck. They changed the sensor, and my truck runs normal again. Thanks Wiens guys on east Craig Rd.

I have been coming to this shop for more than 7 years, these guys have worked on my Mercedes, Sonata and now my dodge Journey, Scott the front desk attendant has taken care of me throughout the years. Brain the manager is amazing in his delivery be it good or bad news. He is humorous and caring. Scott is always frank and honest and he makes sure he searches the best price possible for needed parts. I now reside in Henderson, yet I still travel to North Vegas for this top notch, professional, fast service. Oh and it helps that the shop environment is clean abd safe.

Ted Wiens on Craig is great! They do wonderful work, know who I am when I walk in, they are friendly and have many options for paying when in a bind. They also offer a ride most days of the week if you cant wait for your car. My husband and I only bring our cars to Ted Wiens on Craig.

My AC started acting up on my way to California last week, I went into Ted Wiens and after explaining to them the issue they looked at and diagnosed the problem right away. They were able to order the parts needed and do the fix within a few hours. I made it to California for my granddaughters graduation and haven’t had an issue with the AC since. Thank you!!

Friendly and nice service but they charged me over $800 for two parts and I got a half the price of what you charged me for labor and parts.Prices for rack and pinion Labor +1 $414 Outer tie rod end +2 $417 I bought both parts here for $350 and labor $250 So in my opinion you overcharged for what is actually supposed to be done and I get my ratings a negative 10

On 2/20/19 I hit something in the road and got a flat tire. The closest shop to where I was, was Ted Wiens on Craig Rd. I took my car there and the sale person looked at the tire and said you will have to replace it. Yes, I know... He couldn’t find the exact tire, so that meant getting two new front tires. Ok...I came home and later in the afternoon received a call stating that the wheel needed to be replaced as well. More bad news, thanks. He called back again and said he found a wheel for $700.00, it will be just like the other three. Ok... Today, the bad news was that the wheel he found was silver not chrome...the place they deal with didn’t have any wheels to fit my car. My husband called Discount Tire, who were more than helpful. I got FOUR CHROME wheels and ONE front tire (same as what I have) for less than what Ted Wiens wanted. Also, When the tow truck arrived to tow my car to Discount Tire, the sales person was strangely not communicating. He was really happy to keep trying to sell me higher priced tires and wheels. When it came to losing a sale though, one word answers. I guess my Corvette looked like a cash cow.....

Ryan was a great help. Needed new tires on our way out of town, he was upfront and honest. Didnt sell us tires that wouldnt be best for us even though it would have been easier for them. Would refer them.

Not only are they friendly and accommodating, they will always fit you in and get you out fast. Services are priced fairly, and come with knowledge and explanation. They never pressure you or try to upsale you.To say coming here for an emergency flat tire is an enjoyable experience would be an understatement. In 2018’s hectic Vegas, it’s nice to be treated as a friend and a neighbor.
