Fixed my breaks I got messed up from a previous shop and explained to me what they did wrong. But then the lied about my discount getting taken off the whole bill it was just off labor work. So good shop but not very clear communications when it comes to pricing. I paid $127 more then I expected walking into there after talking to someone about the price already.

Worst front desk service!!!! I called this business because I had a great experience previously and the girl that answered put me on hold for 15 minutes and then was very rude. I stopped in on my way home from work for an oil change and the waiting room was empty and so were all the work bays. She was very rude and said I would have to wait at least an hour and a half. I politely asked why as there was no one present and received a very rude response. I will never use this place due to her behavior.

I drove around and tried 3 other places to get a smog check today (a Saturday)I stopped here, to see if they could do a smog check. Not really expecting them to say that they could. But was happy that I was wrong.  All of the employees were really nice, and they got my smog check done in no time at all. I will definitely go back when I need anything done or looked at on my car.

Called on Saturday looking for a mechanic to take out freon. Daniel asked if I was looking to do a full evac and recharge. I replied with a no, just take out the freon. He said hed do it for $30. I was hoping to get it done same day, of course I didnt call until an hour before closing. He didnt have time to do it until any time on Monday. Understandably. When I called other shops, they would only do a full evac and recharge that would cost over $200. Went in first thing on Monday, our conversation was verified. Got it done in about 30 minutes. Employees communicated, got the job done and great customer service!!! I think I may have found my new shop.

If I could give this company 0 I would. We Paid almost a $1000 to have multiple services done. This included a 100000 mile service, rear brakes(we provided), rear rotors resurfaced, new front rotors, and new front brakes(they provided). Shortly after the job was completed, my wifes brake pedal went to the floor in the middle of breaking and she had to slide into a ditch to avoid another car. I took the vehicle back to get checked multiple times. Each time they said they couldnt find anything wrong. Later in the month we took the Equinox to get another service done at another professional provider. They found and provided picture evidence that the brake fluid was dark and full of moisture, there was burn marks on the rear rotors, and only 4mm on the rear brakes. THEY TOOK OUR BRAKES WE PROVIDED! I attempted to get a refund for almost 2 weeks with no responses except from the local manager Chris who had to get approval from his district manager John. I left multiple messages with John that were neve returned. I ended up showing up at the shop to ask again for the refund. John told me to see him in court and to Get the f*ck out of his shop. I have NEVER been treated this way by any company. Most rude and unprofessional people i have ever had the displeasure of having to work with. Dont worry John, well see you in court!

Uneducated mechanics put in the wrong type of catalytic converter in my car when the old one specifies what type to put in now im 2600 in the hole and my car still shows on the diagnostic that I need work on my catalytic converter.... they say theres nothing they can do because theyre allowed to mismatch parts....... make sure you get a second opinion guys

As all auto repair shops do when you take your vehicle in for a basic service they look for and always seem to find something else thats more pressing. I went in for a full synthetic oil change a lube and a tire rotation and I was told that I need to have a bush job performed for over $700.00 dollars. Go figure!!!

We took our truck there and paid to have in engine replaced. It took nearly 2 months for that to get done. We had the truck 3 weeks and had to take it back for overheating issues. They tested it and determined that it was a cooling pressure issue and needed to replace the engine block again, under warranty. That was in Mid July. It is now the end of October and I still dont have the truck back. No one can seem to figure out when it might get fixed.THEY HAVE HAD MY TRUCK FOR 4 MONTHS AND STILL NOT REPAIRED.If I could give 0 stars, I would.

If i could give them zero stars i would. They tried to scam my wife into replacing her entire AC system. They quoted her $1,600 even after throwing in a few free and/or discounted items. A few days later, I had someone more trustworthy and honest give me a second opinion. Turns out the system was way overcharged with freon. Only cost me $130 to fix it. These guys at AA Auto Care dont know what the hell theyre doing. Zero stars! Do not go there! Theyll try to scam you out of hundreds of dollars for something so small.

Ive been a customer for over 4 years.bringing 4 cars to them an giving them good word of mouth advertising.They used to get 4 stars. I rarely give 5. They now get 1 star. The reason is I feel like the last 3 times Ive brought a car in for service they are trying to scare me into extra non priority work. My cars are 10 years old. They are going to need something.I dont appreciate scare tactics and I am mechanically inclined.I needed front and rear brakes on my Jeep and was beat up on not wanting to replace the functional caliper along with the failing one in the front, then was told my struts needed replacing. The struts are fine. They are after market and were installed with the 3 inch lift.Im on covid layoff. Sure, I would love to fix the axle seals on my 10 year old jeep, but they are going to have to wait. Couldnt AA Auto simply have done the maintenance I asked them to do without the doom and gloom sales pitch and done the repair job without the hard upsell?Ive been a customer for 4 years. I thought I had a mechanic I could trust, but they changed their management. Now every time I go there I feel like theyre trying to screw me.

Couple of things. I came in on a Saturday when I heard 2 clicks before starting so immediately I thought alternator or battery which I wound up being right. My battery had a warranty from Autozone so I checked it out and they claimed it was good.Went to these guys for alternator and I was right. They charge $100 per hour for labor with a job that was suppose to be 1.5 hours. Now it was around 2:30 pm on a Saturday when I brought it in when they closed at 6. They decided to call around 5 to let me know that theyre still working on it and it wont be ready till Monday even though they got it into a bay that day. Theyre closed on Sundays. They also said they were going to call me back on something. Which they didnt.Fine. So I guess Id imagined that I would get it first thing in the morning on Monday, which is today but, I wound up calling them at 8 am on which they said itd be ready by noon. Its 12:30 and Im currently in their business sitting and waiting for this car to be ready. When I walked in they said give us another 45 minutes to get this taken care of. So I guess it should be done around 1. Waste of a morning. By the way, the original price was $509. They conveniently forgot to add tax.The business lacks transparency and communication. A little reassurance can build trust but it just feels from them that they need work on people skills I hope that nothing else is wrong with the car.Edit: Its currently 13:49 theyve pushed it back 45 minutes. That was at 1:10 and the car is still lifted on a bay.Edit 2: its an hour since my last edit. Apparently he has to go through the top and bottom on a 2012 Hyindai Santa Fe? I still gave to get a battery for my car.

✨I usually go to the AA autocare on Camino al Norte because it is closer to where I live, but I am definitely willing to drive the few extra minutes to the Simmons location! The receptionist Alexis provide EXCELLENT service, made sure everything was kept sanitized for the customers and had an overall great attitude! The price is right here and they get the job done quick and easy, I have always had great experiences at AA Auto but, definitely out the Simmons and Ann location!

RIP OFF ALERT!!My son & granddaughter took her 97 Honda there for smog check & oil change. It was running perfectly going in. Going home it started acting up so they went back. Was told catalytic converter was bad, took it to muffler shop, catalytic converter was fine! Went back to AA. Now the engine is blown, running on 3 cylinders!! WTH! Guy felt “bad” & new engine was going to cost $3,000+ but he “knows a guy” he can get 1 & he will put it in for $1,400! Took the car home & parked it where all the motor oil leaked out. Finally after 2 weeks I had it towed to Jim @ Competition Transmission (Simmons & Cheyenne). He cleaned the engine & let it sit overnight. The oil pan had a leak so I approved fixing that & he reported back that there is NOTHING wrong with it! I traded cars with my granddaughter, just to be sure she didn’t get stuck going home from work late at night & I have been driving it for 2 months & it’s a great little car!! I AM CONVINCED THAT AA AUTO CARE DID SOMETHING TO IT in an effort to rip us off!! Would like to have posted this without having to mark any stars!!!

Went down to AA Auto on Simmons street today, since I pass it all the time. Had my check engine light on, so I decided Id go get it checked out. Coming from California this was my first time visiting a mechanic in Vegas and I was a little unsure, but it changed very quickly. I was helped right a way, the mechanics diagnosed the issue in minutes (Cracked fuel cap) and replaced it for me! First things first the lobby is very clean and nice. The mechanics were very quick, but payed attention to detail. Everything was handled quickly and I was gone within an hour. Huge amounts of love for AA Auto Care! I definitely will be going back!

I own a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I initially did a small $45 repair back in 2014 yet I took it to a dealership right next to my house to have some brake work done and they gave me a faulty diagnostic based on a visual saying I had to have my fuel pump replaced based on a liquid fluid outside of my fuel tank. Car has no problems starting.Took my car down to AA Auto Care for a second opinion. Comes to find out that wasnt the problem was my differential in the back and it was spewing the differential fluid onto the gas tank giving the appearance of a leak and my bushings also. I was a happy customer after that repair. This was right after Christmas 2015Right now as I write this review at home Im waiting for my Jeep to be repair again getting struts and shocks applied and oil change with fuel injector cleaning and checking the transmission and I got a great deal.Im a happy customer and I trust these guys with my vehicle. I dont know the guys name but hes a big white guy and hes really cool as hell.If you love you car take it here. They have a big shop and they will get your car in and out.

Took my car in for an oil change... They called and told me my struts were busted and I needed them changed immediately ($400).... I panicked and decided to go to the dealer as the car was under warranty. Dealer did a top to bottom inspection and the struts were completely fine.... Really glad I listened to my gut and took it elsewhere.Update: my boyfriend brought his car here for an oil change. Upon arrival to pick it up he received a laundry list of everything that is wrong with his car and it would be almost $4000 to fix it. On my urging, he took his car to a dealership where... Surprise surprise... There was NOTHING WRONG WITH HIS CAR. I am not sure what kind of business AA is running but it isnt one that anyone should be apart of. Do not take your car there.

Read the reviews before taking your vehicle here. I myself had an issue with them changing a part out, but damaging another in the process. Then they blamed me when I couldnt drive my vehicle out of their shop because of something they did. Ended up having to buy a replacement part for the part THEY damaged AND still pay for labor on top of that for something they caused, just to be able to drive away.I do not recommend this place. Next time I will pay extra and take it to a better place like pep boys.

Brought my car in because of hesitation and Chris told me I have one solenoid going out and another about to go out. So $931 later my car is running fine until i pull on my retractable aux tape cable to hook up to my phone. The whole cord comes out with the two wires hanging at the end. So doing some thinking, I did see the mechanic driving my car the day before I picked it up, with all my windows down, making a left turn onto Allen Lane. (Supposedly to put gas in it) Heres my TWO major facts I would like to find out, ONE my eject button doesnt work when trying to take the tape out, I know how to get it out just pressing up using a screwdriver will make the tape eject itself. TWO ITS A RETRACTABLE CABLE, meaning if you pull it, it will go back in. No whoever the guy was ripped it out, so no Chris it was no accident. Now, Chris is cool, the type of person that feels for you like it was a problem of his own, but if youre the manager, you must really look out for your employees. If I heard one of my employees broke a piece of property that wasnt theirs accident or not, they PAY for it. If that mechanic was my employee hed have no job. You have mechanics who do I guess good work but when it comes to leaving personal things inside YOUR OWN CAR, you just might have to take them out. So thank you AA Auto Care for fixing what was wrong with the engine, I pay you $900 + and then your mechanic turns around and accidentally breaks something on the inside of my car. I see the logic you people have.

Horrible experience I have taken both my car to this since I’ve been in my home 5 years. It seems that if it’s more than a oil change they have issues fixing it. I haven’t been able to really drive my car since Christmas. I bring it in because my power steering felt like it was going out. I took it in and was told I would need to replace my entire steering column and it would cost $600 or so for a used one referbished one it almost $1000 for new and new would have a longer warranty. So we went with new had the car a week and same thing started happening. Bring it back and now it’s oh it’s the bottom part of your steering column. I’m like what do you mean you just replaced the entire thing. Nevertheless it’s under warranty and they are going to fixing it. The part is guaranteed to be in Tuesday or Wednesday and this was told to me on the Friday before. So Wednesday comes no call. I call oh the part isn’t coming until Friday. I’m sitting here Saturday still no car and even when my boyfriend went up there it was like no it’s still not done. But no follow through no estimated time. It’s like our time doesn’t matter. It’s hard enough to find a good mechanic but to not have good customers service is disheartening. Call up with people keep them in the loop

7/2020 - Kris is a nice guy but the service here has gone down the drain! Ive been coming here for 5 years and will never let them do repairs on any if my vehicles again! I have had my car in 4 times for the same issue and spent almost $2000 before they reordered the part on warranty. They had my car overnight and when I came to pick it up, they put a used gear shift that didnt even go with n y car. When I inquired about it they said they would replace it but it would take another hour! I am beyond mad!2018 - Kris and team are friendly and efficient! From oil changes to smog checks or car repairs, Ive had it all done here and I get quality work for an affordable price.

AA Auto Care is amazing!!! I just moved out to Vegas from San Diego, the move was stressful on my car and my cars check engine light was on, so I decided to bring it over to the closest mechanic by my new home that I could find... I met the mechanics, explained the problem and the solution came within seconds... Turns out during the move my gas cap broke a bit, which the car realized and the check engine light came on. The gas cap was replaced and while I was there I got my brakes done. The whole experience was amazing, the mechanics were nice and hot right to work, the lobby was clean and beautiful and I had a great experience.

Horrible customer service. Took my car on Monday at 0820 for check engine light issue. Was told only 2 cars ahead of mine, then mine would be looked at. I called to follow up at 430pm, only to be out on hold for 15 minutes before the phone hung up. Called back and was told sorry, we didnt get to it today well get it to first thing in the morning and call you before noon.Tuesday I never got a call so I went there at 330pm to jist pick up my car and take it somewhere else. My car wad parked out front with the windows down. When I demanded my car back it took them 5 minutes to locate the keys. Very disorganized place. Will never waste my time with them again.

I went to AA after going to another car place and I still had a check engine light on...The guys their are great, he looked over what was done, told me what else I needed and fixed it quickly and got me back on the road...So grateful...They are now my new car repair guys..

This place is the worst garage I have ever been to. Just sitting in the waiting room you can get a feel of the place and how they operate. If you listen to them speak to their customers you will hear what a scam this place is. Theyll tell you what they think is wrong with your car, then theyll give you some expensive estimate, next is the we can probably work with you and see if we can bring the price down. The mechanics are not careful with your car, they break and scratch things then try and charge you for it. The on duty manager is always an A**. Dont waste your time or money going there. There is a reason they only have 2 1/2 stars. I would go to the better business bureau about them, but I dont even want to waste my time.

I got overcharged for my smog wont be going there again. Calling ahead of time they told me it was only $15 or $10 if I had a coupon. I got charged just over $20. Yes its only $5 but if theyre going to overcharge me on a smog check I wonder what else I would get overcharged on

WARNING, COMPLETE SCAM!!! I went in get some work done. Left with a car that wont stop smoking, and rattles uncontrollable. Non of which happened before I took it in. So, after spending $1,600 and taking it back in countless times, they ended up telling me that I needed a new engine or a complete engine rebuild. For another $5,500. THEY COULDNT HAVE TOLD ME BEFORE I HAD THEM START THE WORK. And they scratched the crap out of the top of my front bumper. Ive Contacted the BBB (better business bureau) with the complaint. They told me there are several complaints filed against them. I only gave them one start because I have to select one to post this review. BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU PICK THESE GUYS. Look for these guys on channel 13 news.

My car broke down just outside the shop (which i dont know if thats a good sign or not...) and the guys helped me push it in to their shop, after 10 minutes they came with an easy answer that it was my battery - 30 min later i was out on the road again. Thank you guys for helping a lady and for being gentlemen. you deserve it!

4th experience with them. Guess a good thing couldnt last. I received a dishonest diag and was smart enough to get a 2nd opinion. What could have cost me $$$ ended up not being a problem at all.

I took my car to this location on 12-13-2018 for an oil change and Chris said it was going to be $14.95 with my coupon when I called. But when I showed up, he said that my car takes a special filter cartridge and wanted to charge $26. I have been taking my car to the AA Auto Service down the street on Ann Rd. for 3 yrs and theyve always charged me $14.99( with their $9.95 coupon) there?. Ill never go to this place again. Jay

Went in today with no appointment and my car was in the service bay within 20 mins for an oil change. They honored their advertised special for full synthetic oil with no BS or up selling or last-minute add ons. I would reccommend this shop because they were courteous and informative and showed me where my oil plug had been stripped and how it needed to be replaced (I know it was stripped because my bf tried to change the oil and couldnt even get the plug out) . The mechanic got the old plug out and only charged me for the new bolt which we got at the parts store that was next door. Everyone in the shop was nice and helpful. I will be back, thanks for the great service guys!!

Horrible i was told i needed a computer for my 2012 vehicle. They stalled for days saying they could not program it! And to wait for a computer technician to come out to the shop. Well i got tired of waiting and had it towed to a more credible shop. The new shop told me it was never my computer! It was a whole different repair and cost me more than expected. Once i found out i called aa auto to tell them the issue and they never returned my call. I will never use this company again!

Just moved out here from Cali had a bad experience with 1 shop out here took a gamble and tried these guys out Ray and Kris are cool peoples down to earth they tell you your problems and any future problems that they might see I’ve had them work on my wife’s Nissan Altima and just recently let them work on my Cadillac DTS really was nervous when it came to my caddy because you really need to know what your doing working with Northstars so far no problems both cars running good besides the steep labor prices they dish out something different from Cali auto shops there a good shop to go to I’m satisfied 👍🏿

Very disappointed with this retailer. Vehicle was making a noise, originating from the front end. The mechanic who road tested it, couldnt hear the noise so I drove him on the road so he could listen. Upon returning to the shop, the manager asked him what the noise was and he shrugged his shoulders and said axle. I told them that I actually had the axle replaced, by them, previously. Of course, they couldnt find any record of that service even though I mentioned I have all the paperwork at home. Ive had vehicles for several years that never required an axle replacement and now Im to believe this vehicle needs a third axle. So, along with that issue, they found other things that needed attention. When they brought the vehicle to my home and I was driving the attendant back to the shop, I immediately noticed the vehicle bouncing uncontrollably. I asked the attendant what did they do to my car and he said he thought that was normal. Upon returning to the shop, they say I need shocks. So, nearly one thousand dollars later, I get my vehicle home. Now, its making the same front end noise that I brought it in to begin with. So what now, a FOURTH axle? BEWARE!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Super slow and terrible service. I took my car in for an oil change and a smog check. It takes them forever to preform these services and then they tell me my car failed the smog check becuase I have an aftermarket OBD port. This is not true I have never modified my car and I am the original owner. After telling the guy this he insists that I modified the port so he has to fail me. After not wanting to argue I pay and get in my car to go home and my window is broke. It will not roll up. This was totally their fault. My window was functioning perfectly well right before I dropped my car off. After bringing this to their attention they just blammed me for breaking my own window and then trying to blame it on them. This was infuriating.Long story short, dont go here - there are plenty of better auto care stores in town.

I would recomend this place to all my friends and family. The staff seemed like hard working Americans here to provide awesome service for hard working Americans. I will always come here first for all my automotive questions and repairs. Maybe thats what A.A. Stands for.... Always Awsome auto care.....lol. Shout out to Kris and Eric

Fact 1: Today I went into to have a bad battery replaced that was under warranty.Fact 2: I arrived expecting no more than 30 minute wait.Fact 3: I was told it would be 1 Hour to 1 Hour and 30 minutes, because they did not have the battery in stock and that it would have to be ordered from the NAPA warehouse locally.Fact 4: I asked to jump start me and I will go to the warehouse myself and pick up the battery there thinking this would be a simple solution, but I was told that they get too many customers at the warehouse and that would not work???Fact 5: They have a courtesy vehicle and could have went to pickup the battery.Fact 6: I waited 2 and an half hours to finally be told that they did not receive the correct battery, but since I had been waiting that they put a battery in and that I could return later or the following day to have correct battery put in place.Fact 7: I received a phone call about 5 pm that the correct battery had arrived so I went over and had it installed less than 3 MINUTES.Fact 8: This all could have been avoided if those making decisions had listened to the customer and called NAPA warehouse and gave them the make and model of my vehicle, my name and given me at least two contact people upon arrival that I could ask to see and would know about this scenario.Fact 9: Had they thought outside the box they would have sent the courtesy vehicle over to pickup the battery since it was not being used.Fact 10: Call in advance for the simplest of repairs, because you could be the next me, because the NAPA store thats in their parking lot is closed so they are forced to buy from NAPA and it appears from the naked eye that they dont get much respect from NAPA warehouse because I was promised no later than a 1 hour and a half wait that turned into a 2 hour and a half wait plus the time spent driving from and back to the shop to get the correct battery.Fact 11: I had to cancel two appointments.Fact 12: Listen closely to your customersFact 13: The best way to limit mistakes is to pay for them with action not words.

Oil change took 2+ hours and a week later all my oil leaked because they did not do a good job. Took it back and nothing wrong with the car but they juts didnt do a good job. Horrible.

Best auto care in Vegas! Took my girlfriends car in because it kept over heating, they took care of it and now runs great!

Horrible place,not honest at all.

Thought the price was a little high for the repairs that were done, but vehicle seems to be running fine.

Great staff,, had to get an alignment after an oil change though..

Got motor mounts and radiator done BUT I Told them not to add or change my oil ONCE THEY ASKED IF I WANTED TO CHANE OIL now a light coming on saying reduce engine oil and I know that do what I told em not to like damn sonim pulling up tommorow.tryna mess my car up or what????
