LKQ is the encyclopedia of auto parts in America. I have never got it wrong with them. The return policy is stress free. Above all LKQ Nevada has one amazing customer service representative Ashley Djorlin, very professional, efficient, and hardworking rep. She is so courteous and will take time to take your order correctly. Above all you can never talk to a voice mail when Ashely is on duty. She is a big asset to your company.

We purchased a motor 8 months ago and the #8 cylinder went bad after 18,000 miles. It took over 3 weeks just to get the authorization to do diagnostics from LKQ. Once we preformed all the test it has taken over 2 weeks and still not response to move forward. Worse than an insurance company with a claim. They pay about 50 dollars per hour for labor when everyone charges 150 so I have to pay 100 out of pocket. The repair shop has spent 4 hours on the phone and still have not been given the go ahead. Buy a reman motor from the factory, in the long run you would save. I have spent 2,000 in rental, 500 in diagnostics, and will spend 2,800 to actually install the motor and this is just related to the warranty part. This was all because I decided to buy a motor from them. The three shops I talked to said they wont work on junkyard motors from LKQ. I finally found one shop that will install the motor but they are charging 25 per hour more than their shop rate because dealing with LKQ has been a huge time waste.

Would not recommend to anyone. I’ve heard and read the bad reviews and should’ve listened and stayed away. Had to wait a week and a half to get my order and it was the wrong part. Will probably have to wait a month to get a RMA number to return it. And now I will have every part for my project except this one. Thanks LKQ.FYI: My order was an online one and I have no idea how their in store staff are. My review is based on their online customer service.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great selection, they were the only place in town that had the part I needed, and it was roughly the same price new as the junkyard wanted for a used one. The only problem I had, if you can call it a problem, was their location was a little hard to find.

The no. 1 place for your parts.. with full confidence and no chance for disappointing.I been in the business of cars for 9 yrs and they never let me down. Unlike B&R and Im not trying here to promote a brand over the other but life has giving me a lot of experience with b&r to make me allowed to judge.. LKQ will never sell you an engine that will leak right after you install it.. or a rack and pinion that leaks and so many other examples and if they send you an engine or transmission that you dont like the way it even look they right away replace it with no question asked .. B&R sold me an engine that is bad and has low compression and never changed it and I lost my money $1100 saying the cant refund cuz the engine was installed .. and how could you test the compression before you install and whos fault it is that the compression is low !? Anyways this place is the best and will remain the best as long as this management taking care of all customers and big thanks to them

Ordered a ignition tumbler,they crossed it and it wasnt rightand no key,counter guy called reordered it.they called friday,part is here.he denyes they called. Show him call history,didnt really look at it.told them wanted my money back,he says okay check only,i payed cash.i said noway cash back,eventually they gave me cash. DEFIANTLY NOT GOING BACK....It was like public harassment opposed to service. Take it for what it is!!!!!!!

Went to get used parts for our car. One was in good shape, the other very poor quality. Quoted one price. Charged another. They do take returns.

Purchased a low mile used engine with 66k miles from here.Recieved engine with distributor busted,throttle body removed,engine mounts removed,and valve cover dented.Oil drain plug was also stripped out so i had to replace oil pan.I installed the engine and had it buttoned up last night.Filled with new coolant and oil and started it,engine ran for about 5 minutes then started missing and running bad.I shut it down and rechecked wires distributor etc.Went to start it again and engine was completely hydrolocked.I removed all spark plugs and coolant was running out the sparkplug holes.This engine did not even run long enough to get up to temperature.So long story short i paid up for a low mile engine that should have been plug and play now the whole top end needs to be removed to replace headgaskets and also heads will need to be sent out to machine shop to make sure they are good and true.Its sad because this engine should have been checked out before they sent it to me and now im the one without a running vehicle which is why i trusted them that this was a good low mile engine not needing major work.I will bite the bullet and pull the heads off this weekend but it really irritates me that i should not have to do all this extra work for a engine i paid $1275 for.I should have just bought a new longblock from a reputable place.Buyer beware of this place because time is money and im the one out of the money...LKQ warrenties consist on wanting to put blame on the customer for engine issue,they tell you to fill out a claim form and that they will send one of there flunkies out to see if they will cover there bad blown head gasket engine that they sent me.I am a mechanic im not a idiot.This is my personal truck so i guess me starting up there engine they sent me that i could have messed it up,right.All i wanted was to buy a low mile engine that was ready to run and drive,not one that needs the whole top end tore down needing head gaskets replaced.I can tell you what happened to this engine,it was in a totaled pickup,radiator was busted and some jackass run it with no coolant and overheated the engine.Sure you guys checked it out,it will run good as long as you dont put coolant in the radiator.Anyways lesson learned,i will make sure i will tell everyone i know on Facebook not to ever buy a engine from LKQ period because they will give you the run around bullshit when there is any issue with there engine.Very disappointed customer,Thanks for ripping me off,sincerely Kevin Chadwell

When I order a specific part from a specific model year, I expect to receive a part from that model year. The part that I received was not from the correct model year although it did mostly match what I needed. When questioned, the salesman was very rude and dismissive. He claimed that the model year that was ordered was approved by my husband, that was a lie as I was sitting through the entire phone conversation.

I bought a Used Engine from them, 2.3L with 38k miles and it knocked on the first day. I didnt have the money for labor to remove it asap, so i waited for the warrenty deadline and gave it back 5 months later (before the 6 month warranty expired )knocking the entire time, I bought Engine #2 from them, installed like a dream, it was a Reman motor and worked PERFECT for 3 weeks, then died, no oil in engine in just under 2k miles. Took from April 20th to July 5 to get them to replace the motor under warranty that is now VOID because they told me I had 3 choices, Refund, 2.0L which I can keep the warrenty or another Reman but I loose the warrenty because my car came with a 2.0L, I took another 2.3L because i wanted the extra power for towing my little 4x8 utility trailer from Harbor Freight tools...They had inspectors 3 times lookin at my car to try to void my warrenty to get out of replacing it, the Ford Focus come with a 2.3L in another version so it has no validity to kill my warranty but whatever.... took Two and half Months to get them to have a Doctor Auto in vegas who is a tiny place that I would maybe get a oil change at but not a engine swap.They replaced it, broke my AC system, and filled it with Green Anti Freeze and not the Yellow, lord knows what other things have been done since I have yet to get the car back as I wait to see what they are doing to the AC since I am being rail roaded on who is at fault for the AC..They ( Doctor Auto ) said the PCM may be broken, well the PCM has no real bearing ont he AC working. its either the Compressor, Presure Switch or a Short.. Maybe it was because they left my AC Dangling under the car instead of removing it to install the engine..
